SocialMoms members have been talking about what sights they’ve seen, and what their vision means to them:

  • Lavonne from Long Wait for Isabella and Nathanael shares her most memorable moments in Seattle. “Healthy eye sight plays such an important role in family time, including the family time we spend on a day trip to Seattle. I am so thankful, and blessed that our family is able to actually see and experience these fun things. Healthy sight is priceless – invaluable – and it can be easy to take it for granted. If I didn’t have healthy sight I’d miss seeing my children enjoy these special places that I grew up seeing. Experiencing it through their eyes now, makes life so much more complete – and it is like being a kid again.
  • Melissa Stuff reveals says it’s crazy to think that some people can’t recognize their child in the crowd. “Today I watched my middle child walk down the aisle to the sounds of Pomp and Circumstance for the first time … It’s crazy to think that some people have never seen their child’s face or wouldn’t be able to tell which child on the stage was their own. My husband can’t make out anything more than shapes further than about 12-18 inches away without glasses or contacts. It’s important to take care of your sight; in fact, my husband is headed over to an eye doctor appointment as we speak.”
  • Bonny Sallee shares her joy about being able to see her family eachday. “Glasses enhance our vision, so we can enjoy the important times in our life!  We have very fond memories with all our kids and grandkids, so we’ll always take care of our sight!  Enjoying all the precious memories you have with your family is important to everyone.  Healthy vision is so valuable and can sometimes be taken for granted, so please get your yearly eye exams!  Everyone in our family gets a yearly eye exam and they know how important it is to see the world!”
  • Dallas Single Mom says memories are essential to being a mom. “Life is full of so many memories and being able to cherish those memories are an essential part of building families and lives that leave a legacy.  As a single mother, it is with great joy that I share with you my most cherished sights and memories of motherhood.”
