If you haven’t been watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, you might want to give the Amazon show a chance. Last night, the comedy was the biggest winner at the 70th annual prime-time Emmy Awards. Meanwhile, fan favorites such as Game of Thrones, The Crown, and The Americans earned a couple trophies each.

Despite the widespread frenzy surrounding shows such as The Handmaid’s Tale and Stranger Things, both went home empty-handed. There were a few pleasant surprises, however, to brighten up the evening.

The crowd went absolutely wild when Henry Winkler, best known as The Fonz on Happy Dayswon his very first Emmy after 42 years in the industry for his role on Barry.

Meanwhile, a romantic moment left many, including The Crown actress (and Emmy winner), Claire Foy, dabbing their eyes. Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special winner, Glenn Weiss, proposed to his girlfriend during his acceptance speech and she said yes! It was quite a night.
