The leaves are starting to change, pumpkin spice is everywhere and there’s a chill in the air … but there’s no shortage of gossip about our favorite celebrity moms! It has been an intense couple weeks across the country, why not decompress with some Hollywood tea?
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Are Divorced
Three years after announcing their separation, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are finally divorced. The former couple, along with their lawyers, met with a private judge and ironed out all the details during a five-hour meeting.
It’s a sad end, really. They started dating back in 2004, were married in June 2005 and then welcomed three children: Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6. After a decade of marriage, they called it quits in June 2015.
It definitely hasn’t been the easiest of times with rumors swirling about Affleck’s infidelity. The actor has also been to rehab for alcohol addiction several times and recently completed a 40-day stint.
Garner seems to be trying to focus on the positive. Not only did she and Affleck go to church together last Sunday but the Peppermint actress was also seen at an event honoring sexual assault survivors over the weekend.
Kate Hudson Welcomes Baby Girl
It’s a sweet time for Kate Hudson and her boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa. Their first child together, Rani Rose, was born last week and the couple seems to be really excited. They revealed that there’s a hidden meaning behind their daughter’s name too.
“We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor.”
This is Fujikawa’s first child while Hudson shares Ryder Robinson, 14, with ex-husband, Black Crows’ frontman, Chris Robinson, and Bingham Bellamy, 7, with former flame, Muse lead singer, Matt Bellamy.
Carrie Underwood Bares Facial Scar
After Carrie Underwood fell down the stairs in a freak accident last year, we didn’t see her in public for a long time. While she was spending time in the studio recording her new album, Cry Pretty, she also revealed that she had received dozens of stitches in her face and that she might look a little different due to her injury.
When she finally resurfaced, there was an inexplicable backlash to how she looked. People claimed they couldn’t see any difference and accused her of being vain and petty. Some even said she drummed up the drama to try to promote her new music.
The singer, who is currently expecting her second child, shared a flashback photo from when she was filming her “Love Wins” music video. A scar is clearly visible from her left nostril down into her upper lip.
Is it the most horrendous thing you’ve ever seen in your life? No. It’s also something that many of us would freak out about, especially right after it happened when everything was a swollen, bloody mess. Kudos to Carried for bravely sharing that picture!
