A snow sled to pull behind an ATV is a sled that is designed to be towed behind an ATV. These sleds are typically smaller than traditional snowmobiles, and they are often used for recreation or transportation in snow-covered areas.
It’s built tough, with molded runners that help it move easily over rugged terrain and a specially designed hull that allows for easy pulling by hand. Add an optional hitch for towing by ATV or snowmobile.
This model is decked-out in Winter Camo for a unique look that blends into your surroundings for winter activities. Durable polyethylene construction is built to last Specially contoured hull designed for easy pulling by hand Molded runners help it glide easily over rugged terrain Includes tow rope 54″ x 25″ x 10″ Weights 11.
I own camo versions of both the largest size and the second largest size. They serve double duty for me both as utilitarian jet sleds (ice fishing, snow shoeing, duck hunting, etc) and truck bed drawers that allow easy access to stuff in the truck bed, and also contain dirt, mud, water, and other messes.
Two of the second largest size fit in the 5. 5′ bed of my Tundra, and leave a little additional room for water coolers and bags.
Bought this sled to install padded fishing chairs in as well as hold ice fishing rod case, and carry shelter hub, ice auger, and all other fishing gear as it is pulled to and from the ice. It has worked great this ice season.
Have been very impressed with it’s lightweight, durability, and how easy it pulls on the snow/ ice. Fits very well in the back of my short bed pickup truck.
I can give an honest review of the sled, because this is going to be my second sled. However, I ordered the it on Dec 28th, it is currently January 19th and the order still has not arrived (it was not on backorder).
However, I cannot ding the product due to this. As far as the sled goes, it is tough as nails, I have used it to haul wood, pull deer out of the woods, put deer in the sled and transported them in my car & truck.
My two girls and I have use it for sledding in the snow and it absolutely the best. I am buying my second since it is so versatile and well made.
When the job calls for heavy-duty hauling, you need the extra-tough construction and rugged performance of the Shappell Kodiak Jr. It’s the heavy-duty version of the ever-popular Shappell Jet Sled, and it’s ideal for tough jobs and tough conditions.
Great for hauling ice fishing gear, firewood, downed dear, traps, decoys and more. Specially designed hull allows for easier hauling by hand. Or, add an optional hitch for towing by ATV or snowmobile.
Heavy-duty molded polyethylene construction is nearly indestructible 25% heavier than Jet Sled Specially contoured hull for easy hand towing Molded runners help it glide over rugged terrain, ice and snow Includes tow rope Order today!.
Heavy, thick material for this sled. It is thicker material than the Jet Sled XL. Our use is for dragging deer out of woods, hauling firewood, hauling saws, equipment and seed across small streams and swamp ground throughout the farm with ATV/UTV’s.
Rocks and sand aren’t too damaging to the bottom at the thickness of this Sled. It should last for years. The pull rope that comes with Sled is a little light and a little short, but that’s an easy fix.
Yes, It floats too, provided its not overloaded and the load is balanced.
Heavy-duty ice fishing sled was exactly what I need for winter backpacking trips carrying all the gear that’s too heavy to carry on my back. Molded runners can be waxed for an easier glide. It even comes with a tow rope(although it’s a bit short, so I replaced it with my own).
Nice high lip all around makes tie-downs easier and high sides means a low center of gravity so it’s harder to flip over on steep trails. All in all, a great tool at a great price.
This sled is a beast! Using it for firewood, dragging compost and mulch to my garden, and will make a fine sled for transporting harvested game when hunting season comes! Super solid, durable sled for a reasonable price.
Works on the grass even without snow, but works best in snow of course. Very satisfied.
Big load to haul? Get the job done with the Shappell Jet Sled XL. It’s longer, wider and has higher sides for carrying bigger loads than many other Jet Sled models. Haul ice fishing gear, downed game, decoys, traps, firewood and more.
Tough polyethylene construction features molded runners that help the Jet Sled glide easily over rugged terrain, plus a specially designed hull that allows for easy pulling by hand. Add an optional hitch for towing by ATV or snowmobile.
Durable polyethylene construction – the Jet Sled is built to last Specially contoured Jet Sled hull designed for easy pulling by hand Molded runners help it glide easily over rugged terrain Includes tow rope 66 inch x 31 inch x 12 inch Weighs 21.
I prefer the Jet Sled Jr because they have straight sides – the Kodiak Jr heavy duty version has dip in the middle, the ends are higher. I already had one of each – Jr, Kodiak Jr. So I ordered 3 more of the Jr to help me coral stuff, save the interior, in my Subaru Outback.
I can attach pole handles if I want to. * I have my fire department gear in one so I can easily pull the Jr out and have a dry place to stand while I put my gear on. * When I do trail building, trail clearing I have a place to carry sharp digging tools and protect the interior.
* They are handy for gardening and yard work. Our wood chip pile is down a bank, I can put 3 5 gal buckets in the Jr and pull the wood chips up. When a plant has a large root ball, the low height is much easier than the high lift needed for a wheel barrow.
* They are a good winter sled – easy to pull with a harness when snow shoeing. For X-C / Nordic ski packing I will have to rig up some rigid poles. Like the Kifaru / Mountain Smith sleds.
I am a 56 year old female, live in the deep south, and I love this ice fishing sled!!! Of course we get no snow or ice here! My yard is a 3 acre lawn with grass, shrubs and trees. This is just what I needed to haul brush and tree limbs to the curb.
I’ve tried pulling wagons and using tarps but that ended up being more work and VERY frustrating when things would fall off. This Sled is very light weight and it is much easier to pull than a wagon, and it holds MUCH more than a wagon does.
Because it’s on the ground, I don’t have to worry about it tipping over when I pull it with my 4 wheeler. Because it is long, no breaking or cutting long limbs is necessary! I just throw them in and big limbs can hang off the back without any loss of stability.
With a light load it is easy to pull it by hand in the grass. For large loads I have been tying it up it to my four wheeler and I can haul LOTS of sticks, limbs and weeds, to the curb for pick up. It can be used to haul whatever whenever you need.
I use it to hall my tools and weed eater around the property rather than carrying all of that with me when I have a project. I’ve pulled it over my driveway just fine, however, it is not meant for hard surfaces such as rocks, cement or asphalt so I pull it over grassy areas.
Ilike it so much and I am considering purchasing the additional skids to give it more long term durability. Lastly if you have kids, it’s a fun sled to pull or slide down a hill in even without any snow!!.
The Pelican Nomad 40 is a utility sled made of rugged high density polyethylene to wit’stand even the harshest conditions. This utility sled is designed with higher walls and side ropes to better secure your gear.
You can also use it as a toboggan for your little ones. Warning: utility sleds should never be towed by a motorized vehicle to transport people or animals as this may result in serious injury or death.
Worth the extra cost! It was so cool to see that Pelican makes sleds too. But: – Would love to have given it all the stars – but the rope supplied was just a bit small to go through the provided holes.
On the bright side, I had no problem drilling the holes out a bit bigger; when I noticed how much rope was supplied, I added four more holes in strategic places for more hand-holds. Still left a good amount of rope for pulling the sled, – The supplied rope was stuck to the sled in a plastic bag; the adhesive required “sticky substance remover.
” A better adhesive would have been simpler for the end user.
Excellent quality little sled for the kids. The best thing about it is that it stays straight when going down the hill. It’s also lightweight for the kids to pull it back up and it comes with a good rope and good handles.
Its also nice and deep so the little ones have a nice back rest. I’ve had two of them for about 6 years now and they’ve lasted very well compared to some previous sleds I had which wore holes in the bottoms easily.
It’s a little expensive but I’m this case you get what you pay for.
We bought this to pull our kids around and to go tobogganing. It’s a lot better quality than the cheaper sleds and tracks straight. I wouldn’t recommend for ice fishing where you would need a longer sled, but it would be great for hauling fire wood or just general use too.
It tracks nice and straight and the kids seem to really enjoy it. The adhesive leftover for the bag containing the rope can be easily removed with goo gone or any other citrus cleaner in about 30 seconds with next to no effort.
The Downhill Xtreme 48 Toboggan Sled by Slippery Racer is at the top of the curve in design, performance, and durability. The sleek, aerodynamic shape is designed for maximum speed and agility. Built with a higher flex ratio than any sled on the market today, the Downhill Xtreme is designed to hold strong in any terrain.
While other toboggan sleds crack easily, the Downhill Xtreme s flexible body is built to virtually bend in half without breaking. In addition, the Downhill Xtreme is coated with Slippery Racer s proprietary IceVex cold-resistant treatment, allowing for use in the coldest of temperatures.
Not all Sleds are created equal, Discover the Slippery Racer Difference!.
Althought it hasn’t snowed yet, the child I bought this for loves it! He rides it along the wood floors with his little brother and ask to go around the house again and again. He can’t wait for it to actually snow so he can ride it outside.
Although it’s made of plastic, it can handle a beating from the kids, doesn’t scratch or stain easily and it doesn’t damage the wood floors. It’s a great purchase for winter fun.
Big load to haul Get the job done with the Shappell Jet Sled XL Winter Camo. It’s longer, wider and has higher sides for carrying bigger loads. Winter Camo finish blends into your surroundings for stealthy movement during winter.
Great for hauling ice fishing gear, downed game, decoys, traps, firewood and more. Tough polyethylene construction features molded runners that help the Jet Sled glide easily over rugged terrain, plus a specially designed hull that allows for easy pulling by hand.

I have the larger model of this sled but it turned out to be bigger than what’s needed to get all my gear to the duck blind. Downsizing makes it lighter to pull, takes up less room in the boat and is just more efficient.
These are well made but the plastic may be a little thin depending on your purpose. For dragging gear and decoys through the river bottom woods or fishing gear across hard water they are a perfect combination of light weight yet built well enough to be durable.
I have been a elk hunter for many years and hauled quite a few elk off the mountain. This is a tough sled that holds up to rough conditions and cold weather. I used a friends sled for the last 5 years and used it on more than 10 elk.
Its still is good condition, despite some to the rocky trails I have used it on. My friend moved away and I bought my own sled, so now I get to write the review. Buy it, you wont be disappointed.

This is one of the best hunting related purchases I have ever made. I bought this to use as a sled to move gear and haul out deer, but also had hopes of using it as a float to access another area of my property and I am thrilled by how well it ended up working.
I got my 175lb body into the sled and only drafted about 1/3 of the way up floating just fine as I pushed through in shallow water. I am sure I could rig a small electric motor on this thing If I really wanted, but That would just be getting ridiculous.
I also bought the cover thinking there could come a time when I may want to store something or potentially use as an emergency shelter. Great quality product!.
This Sled very well built and large enough to hold all my stuff. I use it for duck hunting, no ice fishing here. However, it holds my decoys, blind, seats, shotgun and gear bags. It helped a lot while setting up my decoys as well.
There are a lot of things to trip on in the water and this sled helped me keep my balance. I would be it again. but sooner!.
Super-strong 100% roto-molded one-piece polyethylene construction with a reinforced outer lip and thick rugged bottom tackles the most extreme conditions. Front attack angle allows the sled to glide effortlessly over snow, slush and rough terrain.
Molded-in ribs with Hyfax runner pockets ensure stability and tracking.
I first come across these sleds years ago while hunting in Canada. They used it to carry a deer by pulling behind a snowmobile. I live in Kansas where we have little snow, especially in deer season. I purchased my first one 15 years ago.
Now replacing with looks to be even a better quality product. It does well on grass, fields, across creeks, etc. We even use it around the home while doing yard work. The thing I like best, one person can load a deer.
Simply turn sled on side and roll the deer over into the sled. The deer rides home in the sled. I skin the deer over the sled. After the deer is skinned and quartered, simply hose it out. Fantastic product.
This sled is lightweight but tough; thick material that stands up to bumps and scrapes. I bought the smaller one to use for dragging a deer out of the woods. For ice fishing, I’d get the larger size so you’ll have room for all your “stuff”.
Even though it is not directly marketed as “fun” snow sled it is the best snow sled I have found. I purchased for my grandkids but I’m considering one for me! It’s very sturdy & the higher sides keep the young ones secure.
The ATC Shappell Jet Sled provides a fun way to enjoy the snowy weather. Kids can slide down hills in the woods or use it in their own neighborhood. The wonderful camo design allows you to blend in with Mother Nature’s surroundings.
The sled is easy to use and can provide endless hours of outdoor fun. Kids simply climb in and push off to begin their journey. It includes molded runners for strength and stability and can also be taken out on the ice and used as an ice fishing sled.
I wanted a sled that would hold some decoys, shotgun, swamp stool, backpack, small blind possibly, that I could drag through swamp and/or over grass and sometimes maybe a little gravel that would also fit in the back of my truck.
My truck bed is 5 1/2 feet, this fits just right. The only thing I would change is where the holes are for the tow rope. They are too low on the front, but useable. I slipped on a section of heater hose over the rope for a handle, way better than just pulling on the rope by itself.
So far, so good. I like it. Pretty tough material. Fine for duck hunting and fishing.
This sled is just what we needed for hauling straw baies to make our straw bale garden (and then haul away the deteriorated bales at the end of the growing season),for hauling yard waste, for hauling heavy trolling motor batteries up & down our hill to our boat, and for hauling groceries up our hill.
It is sturdy–made of fairly thick material–and by using a carabiner, can be easily pulled with our mowing tractor. To be safe and further reduce any stress on the rope holes when hauling something heavy, i placed 1-1/2″ stainless steel fender washers with 3/8″ holes on the inside of the sled before tying a knot, both inside and outside the sled.
It would also make a great sled for hauling ice fishing equipment.
Great product, the only thing I will say is that my wear bars had to get replaced under warranty before I used it for the first time. Beware, when installing with the limited instructions that you do not over tighten because the screws will pull through the countersink.
Inspect each bar before installing. Ive used this so far to lug stuff for my truck into my hunting spots and its a game changer. Next year hauling deer out will be a breeze.
Overall, great size, great material, lots of versatility. It’s not super heavy. Lots of points for attaching ropes and tethers, pulk poles, and so on. I used this in the BWCA last January and had an excellent time — after working out the kinks.
We had warmer weather on the hike out (high 20s, low 30s; roughly 6 miles with two or three portages), which made the snow soft and sloppy. The weight distribution wasn’t quite right, close but not quite perfect.
The sled tipped a lot until I over indexed weight in the back (which you should do anyway, I know), and after that, we were smooth sailing. Some of the portages were tricky, as they are, which made for more delicate maneuvering to avoid tipping and so on.
But the narrower build is worth it when blazing trail. Overall, it’s great sled.
DISAPPOINTED IN THE QUALITY. NOT HEAVY DUTY. I SHOULD HAVE READ REVIEWS MORE CLOSELY. THIS PRODUCT IS WAY OVERPRICED. THIS SHOULD BE A $30- $40 SLED AT MOST. DONT EXPECT IT TO LAST IF YOU ARE MOVING HEAVY GEAR FOR LONG DISTANCES.
IF YOU ARE ONLY EXPECTING TO USE IT FOR A FEW SEASONS FOR DOWNHILL SLEDDING ONLY OR TO MOVE LIGHT GEAR SHORT DISTANCES THEN OK. THE MATERIAL IT IS MADE FROM IS THICKER AND PROBABLY A LITTLE MORE DURABLE THAN YOUR BIG BOX STORE CHEAP SLED.
IT IS LARGE- SO CAPACITY IS GOOD. REI IM SURE YOU CAN FIND A BETTER SLED FOR THE SAME COST OR LESS. THE DESCRIPTION IS DEFINITELY MISLEADING THIS IS NOT WHAT I WOULD CALL A PRO EXPEDITION SLED.
YouTube videos and older reviews are almost always positive. Newer reviews, not so much. The sled I received had sharp flanges on the bottom of the rope holes where the injected plastic had leaked out of the mold.
If not trimmed, a rope could be worn through. Worse, not enough plastic was used to fill the mold leaving the bottom of one side rim rippled and demonstrably thinner. There was no confidence that it could withstand the stress of securing a load.
Returned it. Noticed another identical sled in the ‘used’ section with a split down the middle.
This Terrain Deer Drag Sled is ideal for hunting, hauling, trapping, ice fishing, sledding, and much more. The ultra-durable hunting sled comes with heavy-duty tie-down ropes that secure it all. Haul in the gear and haul out the deer.
We bought this drag sled to use as a “toboggan” and it works great. There is room for 2 to 3 riders depending upon their sizes. We chose this rather than a children’s sled that are sold for that purpose because this sled is much sturdier.
We won’t a sled that could endure a sliding trail/hill in the woods with minimal snow. This sled does the trick, we don’t worry about it breaking or cracking on a less than perfectly groomed snow hill! I am guessing it would work perfectly to drag a deer out of the woods.
I just pull two grandchildren on a two mile trail through the woods with very little snow (lots of leaves and pine needles) and it did the job. they had fun and I got some exercise!.
Very thick and sturdy good quality sled. My husband and are are both 6 feet tall, and we actually use these for downhill sledding, rather than for dragging dead deer and equipment in. Makes an awesome downhill sled that is actually adult size!.
The sled material is relatively thin and therefore is prone incurring holes when dragged across dry earth or ground with stones. It works fine in moderately tall grass and across leaf/loamy soil found in woodland situations.
The Toddler Boggan Pull Sled is the perfect way to tow little ones in the winter snow and to help them enjoy the outdoors! The foam seat pad provides cushion and keeps little ones warmer! The back provides support and an adjustable safety strap is built-in to keep them secure.
The sled is made of high density polyethylene, which is crack resistant. The wide base keeps the sled stable for a safe ride. It comes with a tow rope for your convenience. It is made in the USA which is another bonus! This is a very popular gift!.
The perfect little baby sled! We’ve taken my 9 month old out quite a few times in this sled this winter. He sits up on his own & fits into an 18 month snow suit (for context) and fits nicely into this sled.
The plastic is lighter weight than I thought (you get what you pay for) but it feels sturdy enough and glides through the snow nicely. The string is long enough to pull the sled, but double knot the ends like other reviews say, otherwise they pop through the holes.
I was excited to find this sled at Blain’s Farm and Fleet. It’s a perfect size for a 1 year old. I wanted to purchase one last winter for my granddaughter but couldn’t find it locally. We’re now prepared to enjoy the first winter’s snow.
Built for speed and optimum maneuverability, the Snow Future Sled leaves other sleds in its trail of slush as it races down the hill. Equipped with non-corrosive stainless steel runners to cut a speedy trail and provide an optimum steering edge, the Snow Future is a breeze to maneuver with its dampened steering and thick, easy-to-grip steering wheel.
An E-brake system accessible by either hand provides control. Built out of durable polyethylene, the Snow Blazer will dominate snowy hills for many seasons. The large, no-skid, contour tractor seat maintains your comfort, and the extra-long integrated pull cord allows for easy towing.
Designed to fit children from six years old and up, the Snow Blazer can carry up to 250 pounds of weight, Color: Gray.
TranslateShow in original languageErster Eindruck: robuste saubere Verarbeitung.
Empfehlenswert.

I bought this about a month ago on sale. It’s well made and sturdy. All our snow melted but I have been pulling my 40 pound daughter around in the sled on the wet grass in the evening. The sled has held up with no problems and works nicely.
My daughter has loved riding in it, even without the snow. We are very pleased with this toboggan and would recommend it to anyone wanting a basic affordable sled/toboggan! This review is provided by a person who grew up in Pennsylvania and has a lot of experience with sleds/toboggans like this one.
Mills Fleet Farm was very good on shipping prices/speed and fast service once the order was placed!!.
I bought two 3 weeks ago and my son and I love it. It is pretty sturdy for the two of us. We have had so much fun with it. The color is very pretty. It does not come with a rope. We bought these fromntheir online store and they came very quickly.
With steering wheel and handbrake. Non-slip, tub-shaped seat, low centre of gravity, anti-slip and profiled foot area, with handy steering wheel, lateral hand brake made of metal. Made of cold-resistant plastic.

Excellent sled for 20 – 35 degree temps. BREAKS EASILY WHEN COLD TEMPS below 20 degrees or so. This sled is super fast and fun but the plastic can’t handle cold temps and is Wisconsin we get cold temps.
A nice winter day for sledding may be 15 degrees F and this sled easily cracks in those temps with any amount of pressure applied by rider weight or hitting bumps on the hill. Need to work on the formula a bit for this sled and you’ll have a winner.
Or sell them at 2 for 1 prices as one will break for sure in cold temps. We’ve had three so far and they are super fast and fun but no long for life.
Bought this today to take our 5yo sledding. Had a ton of fun. Sled seems pretty sturdy and moves pretty fast. She had a lot of fun amd as ling as it holds up, this is a great buy. Plenty of room for multiple kids and at least one adult at a time.
Dominate the slopes with the Snow Flyer sled. Built to last for a lifetime of winter fun, this solo sled will blast past the others leaving a spray of snow in its wake. Racecar-style steering, a contoured driver seat, and Formula 1-style handling on the snow make the Snow Flyer an ideal racing sled.
The Snow Flyer offers as much precision as it does speed with a center-mounted emergency brake and superior steering. The sure-grip steering wheel and brake handle are easy and comfortable to operate, providing great maneuverability.
Molded non-slip footholds keep you in place as you fly down the hill.
Ordered a sled off of Amazon- it came with no steering wheel. Decided to replace it with this one- exceptionally glad I did! Well built, sturdy and great quality. Ready to go right out of the box, steering wheel will direct the skis underneath and the break is easy to operate.
Super fast shipping – would definitely recommend!.
This came in a thin plastic clear bag, no box for protection. It has a brake for stopping and steering wheel. Its value should be 50 but for some reason sleds are high priced. Bought this at Zulily for $89 which is same as retail.
No bargain. The value here is that I havent seen this in any local stores so it’s a nice grab and a good product to sell for fact of no stock locally. I hope Zulily finds more items like these that are good quality, different, and not stocked local walmarts etc.
Dont mind paying retail but listing a “valued at price” is deceptive. The sale price in most of Zulily is not a sale at all and pot luck on clothes quality fabric lately.
I bought the camouflage version of this with a few purposes in mind. Urban Archery: great for hiding it from people and dragging deer out without leaving an offensive blood trail in a driveway. Duck Hunting: I swamp hunt and its good to have a boat sled to keep decoys, gun, ammo, out of the water and from icing over.
Good thick plastic. Seems like it will take a beating.
This sled is highly portable and I’ve found it extremely useful to do low intensity endurance work. I have it in my trunk with a couple of plates and I use it once or twice a week, pulling it around a stadium for an hour, while I listen to podcasts.
With the right pace and weights I stay very consistently around 135BPM HR, which is my zone 2 sweet spot. One thing to note is that it does much better on astroturf than on other surfaces. On dirt / gravel / pavement it gets pretty noisy.
On real grass, the traction varies widely with how wet the grass is. In spots where the grass is damp, the sled will “stick” a lot more so the intensity will suddenly increase.
I actually purchased and use both the S-35E and the S-25 FatBoy Sleds. I only keep and use the Fatboy for heavy workouts at the gym on the carpet, which we are fortunate to have over 100’ long. I also use this S-35E to do separate recuperation/rehab workouts and also use it for cardio work several hours after my heavy pulls when I pull it around a reservoir for 1.
33 miles on a paved path with only about 50-75lvs. This S-35E is much more convenient to transport around. I keep it in my Jeep Wrangler with a few plates. This sled does not tear up the asphalt pathway either.
I do get many astonishing looks! I’m 57 too. Both are great!.
Got this for my home gym recently, Best thing I’ve bought for it so far. I use it for forward pulling with the strap attached to a weight belt around my waist, backwards dragging, lateral dragging etc.
Very effective for working the posterior chain and cardio at the same time. I also use it for upper body accessory work, face pulls, rear delt fly’s, tricep extensions, pummeling etc. Very effective for recovery/restoration too.
All in all a very worthwhile and excellent value for money piece of equipment for any gym/home gym. PS I live on a farm so I drag it up and down gravel and suits it fine. Cheers Rogue!.
Our rugged utility sled is the easiest way to transport all your ice gear to your favorite spot. Two molded bucket holsters secure the cargo when pulling over uneven terrain and the durable polyethylene construction assures season after season performance.
Can also be used to transport decoys and other hunting gear. Includes Tow Rope. Made in USA. Dimensions: 49L x 26-1/4W x 10D. Type: Sleds.
I was so happy when the ice sled showed up. I went ice-fishing a week prior with my dad & 3yr old and I was barely able to haul all my gear back & forth. I really like the mold on the bottom that holds 2 buckets in place.
This size is just right for hauling 2 buckets of gear, 4 chairs, tackle box, 4 foam mats, ice shanty/tent, minnow box, heater. It’s great for the price as well! One thing I wasn’t sure about from the pictures was whether it had a nicely reinforced area to attach a pull-rope to.
The product comes with a rope, and pre-drilled holes that are in fact reinforced with extra molding. I am very pleased with this product.
I bought this sled last year 50 inch by 26 and it holds all my gear in it nicely. And by all the gear I mean my 10 inch auger 5×5 pop up tent my rods tackle boxes and tip-ups plus live bait. Wish that this length would come in little bit wider form around 30 inches.
But as for stability it holds up pretty good as long as heavy items are on bottom. I modified my sled a bit and gonna add smitty sled base to it as well for deeper snow. My fully loaded sled weighs about 140 lbs or so and it glides when there is minimal snow.
Once its on skiis it will go through 8 inches of snow no problem. For my sled i added handles from New windows to help when loading full sled into my van and it has saved me my back few times. Worth every penny even if it costs you few bucks to remodify it to your liking.
Finally bought an ice sled, after using a home made pine box with lid for over 50 years! It just go to be too heavy for me to lift by myself into the truck. This sled has plenty of room and even when filled with a gas auger and all my gear I can still lift it into the back of my truck.
Pulls easily across snow and ice, and with a few bungees everything is secure and won’t fall out going over the snow piles in the parking lots and towards the lake.
Assuming you would like a conclusion for a snow sled that can be pulled behind an ATV, one possible conclusion could be that such a sled would be great for anyone who loves spending time outdoors in the winter.
