These gloves are well made and well insulated. Perfect for handling things out doors in the winter time. Just what I was looking for. I ordered XL because previous gloves I ordered in that size ran a bit small.

These are not small at all. I have medium sized hands and these fit loose on me. L probably would have been a better size. However, anyone with large hands can probably fit nicely into the XL’s.

These gloves give me a bit more grip then other gloves and last longer then others I’ve tried. They pair perfectly when mowing lawn or doing yard work. I keep an extra pair on hand at all times.

Love me some hide. I try to wear as much hide as possible at all times. Can’t beat that fresh hide.

I work with horses, and have occasional side forays into firewood cutting, carpentry, vegetable gardening, and woodworking. This requires rugged, yet flexible work gloves. These Ironclad Ranchworx gloves meet this need very well, at an affordable price.

They’re a winner. Yes, I would recommend these gloves. They are a bit stiff when they’re brand-new, but they break in nicely. They’re great for spring, summer, and fall around the farm.

This is my second set of these gloves. Simply wore the others out after about a year of daily usage. The replacement gloves have a few refinements that have been made to make them a bit more durable and comfortable.

The real trick, as with any gloves, is the fit must be correct. These gloves fit like the proverbial “fits like a glove”. Have only found one other brand that I like as well, they are substantially more costly, so I go with these.

They feel like a second skin. Very dexterous for performing detailed work. However the thumb length is a little longer than it should be. I like the Kevlar reinforced index and thumb patch and the sweat patch for wiping your brow.

Overall a very goog glove to use. They confusin comes from the sizing. My hand measures 9 inches around the knuckles at the top of the handle not fingers and size chart says xl. That fit was snug but Im more of a 2xl.

These last forever and are comfortable whether it’s cold or hot outside. Love the velcro fastener at the wrists for keeping debris out and have even used them over bulky wrist splints. Good protection against thorns and splinters.

Good dexterity for weeding.

These gloves fit so well! The water-resistant palm and finger leather is soft and supple yet thick and durable. The elasticized top is comfortable and snugs for a perfect fit. I am a glove size 8 or 8.

5 and the Wells Lamont size Large fits me fine. The quality is tops and I definitely will purchase these gloves again.

Very comfortable. Great hand protection. Soft but durable. Not waterproof but reasonably water resistant. Love these gloves!!

NOT as good as the ‘old’ gloves; they have much thicker leather & make it through several winters. The current material is thin and feels very cheap. Time will tell, I don’t expect them to last. I ordered online, had I tried them in the store I would not purchase these gloves.

Fit well. Comfortable. On and off easily.

The gloves are very nice. I purchased for my husband as a Christmas gift. I shop early for Christmas especially this year. I also purchased the jacket/coat. I believe my husband will love the gloves.

i love these gloves. no more scratch up hands from pulling wild blackberry vines. also other vines that has the stickers on them. my hands don’t look like a bloody mess. they are great for cleaning the yard and pulling weeds.

The gloves are good quality, but they are “large” instead of “X-large”, as advertised. Also I could have have bought them cheaper at COSTCO, and gotten an entire pack of 3 for just a few dollars more (I discovered tpo late).

Disappointing.

Wooferzone llc sent a used pair of gloves, with no tags. Very disappointing and not sanitary.

I purchased two packages of these from my local Sam’s club and was not impressed. The first package I opened had a pair where the fingers were about 3/4 inches longer than its packaged partner. All of the gloves had stitching which is cockeyed and not strait causing the glove fingers to twist.

I would prefer to pay more for a product of higher quality and I will in the future, it wont be these. I need to mention I purchased size large and they were all tagged “L”, first package was not mixed sizing.

Been looking at them for awhile. Hesitant due to not being able try on. Sam’s club had some lined ones. Fit great. So I figured I would go for it. First impression feels great fingers move well. Left hand love.

great range of motion. Can move thumb away from hand almost as much as without glove on. Right hand cant even open to 90 degrees from finger. Both pars in pack are this way. One worse than other. Dont leave store location without trying on.

These gloves are comfortable and are good for light and medium work. If I’m working with brick, block, rocks or doing some fencing, I use a tougher brand. Don’t even bother using with barbed wire, them and your hands will be ripped up.

I’m on my second pair and ordering more for light work. They run smaller than Wells Lamont brand.

Nice leather, well made. Not warm for temps below 35. Applied sno seal and use as yard work glove. They are durable and waterproof with regular treatment. Do not see them as good option for extended time in temps below 35.

Wells Lamont gloves, as always, have great workmanship and these gloves are very warm below freezing. Nice touch with the knit wrist feature. Keeps the cold out.

I bought these gloves for working outside in the cold(I’m an electrician). These gloves worked great for me. It was raining, 35 degrees outside, with a 15mph wind, and these gloves kept my hands warm and dry.

They also have enough cushion to keep from getting blisters when you are digging or using a pick. They have held up well for the last few weeks I have used them. Great gloves for the unpredictable Texas winter.

Love the gloves, but because they are such soft leather, I am on my third pair in a year. I work daily with 4×8 sheets of plywood so maybe I’m a little tough on them. Wear holes in the same place on a couple of fingers on my right hand.

Great gloves. They fit well and keep my hands warm, but not hot and sweaty. I like being able to yank out blackberry bush vines without getting stuck by thorns. Will buy another pair when I were these out.

We operate a small farm making 8-10,000 bales of hay per year. Gloves are a necessity in handling these 40-50 lb. bales. The leather gloves hold up pretty well despite the course twine used in binding the hay bales.

However, the drawstring and plastic ball, on the end, typically breaks after only a few uses. The value of the drawstring is then lost after this happens and debris easily enters the gloves.

These fit tight new and are slowly breaking in to a looser fit over about 2 months. The lining is thinner but comfortable in temperatures at least 5 to 10 degrees colder than other kinko full grain cow hide or deer skin insulated gloves I’ve had (snow shoveling, wood splitting/stacking and snowboarding).

They are tougher than deer skin gloves or suede cow hide leather but not as durable (or stiff) as full grain cow hide. For the price these can’t be beat. Highly recommend for general cold weather use when extreme durability is not needed.

The buffalo hide is thick and flexible. They are comfortable and warm. Warm insulation. They are difficult to scratch or cut. My outdoor work winter favorite! My fingers get cold! These gloves are great.

I have purchased these gloves in the past and in the past they fit perfectly. This time something changed and although I bought the exact same glove and size they are too big. My other comment is that the Carhartt website is one of the most frustrating websites I have ever used.

Even though I knew exactly what I was looking for it took forever to find it.

I got two pair of these buffalo driver’s gloves (one M and one L). The large pair had the buffalo driver tag, but the medium pair did not and were not the same type of leather. The finish of them feels good.

Time will tell if they were a good buy. I like the fit of your regular cow hide work gloves, that is why I tried these.

Would definitely recommend these. Great quality for the price, and perdect for medium to heavy work. I do landscaping, and apparently tree removal for the next year & couldnt be happier with these gloves.

These are nice gloves. They are durable and comfortable. I wear them almost all day everyday. They are long lasting and a good price.

The gloves did not look just like the pictures. Material was a bit different than I expected also. They seem to be much like other work gloves made of similar materials. I am glad I got the XLarge! They are none to big and too snug actually! The cuff does not cover the wrist at all, but stops at the heel of the hand! Maybe I should not recommend these! Glad they were on sale for $7.

These gloves fit great, I usually have a problem with the finders being to short, but not with these. Easy to get on and off and well made.

I work in a bakery and am required to spend time in a freezer sorting dough. It doesn’t take but a few minutes for my fingers to get so cold they become painful. The gloves I purchased keep my hands and fingers warm while allowing me the flexibility to handle small product.

#sweepstakes BEST work glove I have found for the winter. Great for all outdoor work but THE BEST for cutting wood, splitting wood, all yard work. One pair usually lasts me two winters in heavy work.

Use for light work and dog walking. They seem as though they would be durable, but they’re not very warm. Low 30’s leave one’s finger tips quite cold. Since I always lose one glove I bought 2 pairs. They are inexpensive enough so that losing one isn’t that big a deal.

First of all, I have to give a big shout out to Danner for shipping the gloves really quick (5 stars on that). Now on to the review. My hands are small to begin with, so finding a pair like Danners Bison Roper was a dream come true.

The gloves fit very snug, which is my preferable case, is a good thing. I have always worn gloves and the ones that have fit my hands snug have always been the best. Just yesterday I used my Danners for at least 3 hours straight and never felt better doing the chores I was doing.

The gloves feel very soft, but then again it’s bison skin so that should be expected. What I did not expect the the inner lining was just as soft and extremely comfortable, even when I was sweating like a dog the inside glove remained comfortable.

I had to saw down a tree, about 4 inches in diameter, using a Silky saw blade and my hands felt very comfortable. Never did I feel the ache that one feels pushing and pulling a hand saw, in fact the extra padding on the hand made it feel very comfortable.

After sawing the tree, I mowed my front lawn and again the padding on the gloves reduced the recoil that you feel when the lawn motor is running. The fingers on the glove were perfect for me, again snug but not tight at all.

There was a moment that the lining between my pinky and the ring finger was putting a bit pressure on my pinky, but nothing that was uncomfortable. After this experience with the pair of gloves I want to purchase at least 3 more pairs, just to have as backup.

Again, ladies and gentlemen, purchase these gloves if you plan to work outside and cut down trees or work around the house, you will not regret it.

These are hands down, the best leather gloves I have ever owned. Over the years I’ve had deer, goat, and cow hide gloves and none of them come close to the durability I’m seeing from these bison gloves! They are somewhat stiff on first use, but after a couple days of usage they are perfect.

The fit is really nice. I love the fit at the wrist and the added layer at the palm. Measure your hand per Danner’s guidelines and it will fit perfectly, especially after use. Whoever said they run big is wrong.

I ordered a smaller pair at first and they were definitely too small. I cannot recommend these gloves enough!.

These gloves are very high quality. I am impressed with the thickness and softness of these well made gloves. That said, they do run small so you will want to order a size or two over. I only ordered one size larger and they are extremely tight.

They will have to stretch out before I can wear them regularly. However, I do have very large hands so you mileage will vary. I can recommend these gloves once you figure out what size you need.

Received the gloves. In the package was a cancer risk warning. I called the company requesting information on the warning. First told “nothing to worry about” (thank you Doctor). I insisted to speak with someone.

Transferred to manager’s voice mail. Left a message. In two weeks no response. I will not do business with a company who does not respond to customer health concerns.

Wear every day for work and seem to hold up very well. Purchased two pair first and then after wearing these out purchased more. Great value.
