1. Pnw Components Loam Grip (Really Red, XL Grip)
Loam Grip OG locks in an average diameter of 30mm, while the Loam Grip XL covers up to 34mm of comfort.
Comfort grip zone with an overall length of 133.5mm.
Lightweight performance: OG 90g / XL 120g (a pair).
Features of the PNW Loam Grip XL The shape and location of the grip’s in. finsin. helps absorb vibration while allowing water to wick away on rainy day rides. A blend thats soft enough to absorb vibration, yet firm enough to keep its shape under pressure, strikes a balance between comfort and durability.
A pattern running horizontally across the grip’s surface enhances traction while the ticker mountain pattern helps support the pad of your hand.
The firmest roped grip in the PRIDE GOLF range, with the patented Align technology that allows for better hand placement and consistency. It combines 2 layers of texture for better control and feedback.
Deep Z-shape and string design provide excellent control in all weather conditions. Standard version. Men’s model.
I’ve always gamed Golf Pride, and have stuck typically with the Tour Velvet or MCC grips. I’ve been playing with +4 or midsize or midsize +4 and was looking for consistency throughout my bag, and initially wasn’t going to go with Z-grip as they didn’t have a standard +4, but I received these grips on my new Mizunos I received in September and wow, these are amazing.
Going to these from the previous 2 I commented on took some adjustment as these are firmer and definitely have a rougher surface area. but man these work great. I golf in Arizona, so since September I’ve played with them through heat, mild-low humidity, dry, and pretty wet conditions.
Morning, noon, night, these grips will be staying in the bag. I ordered more on Black Friday to go on wedges and an eventual iron replacement. I’ve played over 30 rounds with these already, and aside from my woods I will definitely continue to play these.
I’ve not had an issue with any golf pride grips I’ve gamed, but with the grip shortage COVID brought on it forced me into these ones, and I couldn’t be happier about it.
I bought a single zgrip because I’m deciding whether to regrip my current Tour Velvets with Tour Velvet Cord or Zgrip (two very popular grips on tour, I was looking for better performance with sweat/rain).
Because I hear zgrip is harder/rougher, I thought I wouldn’t like it; I like to feel the tackyness of my grip, one reason I clean them often. I figured I would prefer the tour velvet cord, but the zgrip was much more tacky than I expected, and I will end up regripping my set with zgrip for sure.
Shootout to Collin Morikawa for making me consider the zgrip, originally I was just going to settle with tour velvet cord.
ProTaper Pillow Top MX grips have achieved a legendary status among dirt bike grips for a reason. It all comes down to the Vibrasonix pillow top on each grip combined with a gel-like surface compound.
This combination reduces the vibration which is inherently transferred from the handle into the grips. The result is a softer feel, where the grips act as a cushion on each hand. ProTaper has really figured out how to create comfortable dirt bike grips with the Pillow Tops, but that’s not the only thing to get excited about.
The surface compound is tacky and will keep your hand from sliding around on the grip, but the inner compound is also important, keeping the grip firmly in place on the handlebar. The Anti-Rip Tip is a separate compound from the rest of the grip and is designed for off-road rigors and built for longevity.
Aside from vibration reduction, another great thing about the Pillow Top hand grips is that they have a self-cleaning pattern. This means that when you’re getting mud as high as your handlebar, you don’t have to worry about your grips as they’re designed to shed mud.
This is a great feature for trail riding, but it’s especially great for MX when you don’t have time to stop and clean your hand grips. The Pillow Top is also a little larger than standard grips. If you have oversized hands, you might find the ProTaper Pillow Top MX grips to be even more comfortable.
When it comes to MX hand grips, ProTaper has a real winner. If you think you’re ready to handle an extra level of comfort on either the MX track or the trail, pick up a set of the ProTaper Pillow Top grips.
The ProTaper Pillow Top tri-density grip features an acoustically dampened palm area with an ultra-tacky compound that virtually eliminates vibration. The perfectly designed Anti-Rip Tip ensures long grip life.
The ultra-bonding black inner core grabs the handlebar like a vise. Grips are for use with twist throttles.
Ergon GS2 Grips The GS-grip combined with a compact 2-finger barend made out of fiberglass reinforced composite, which offers more hand positions for increased comfort on long mountainbike rides. Additional rubber is used on the barend improving the rider‘s grip during hand position changes.
The exclusive German produced rubber compound found in the grip and on the barend enables precise steering and control, all while still maximizing optimized damping features. The grip provides ideal comfort over long distances through ultimate pressure distribution and ride tuned flex.
Carbon bar compatible. Recommended for glove sizes Small / Medium (6. 5 – 8. 5) or for small to medium hand size.
The original ergonomic grip – continually improved over the last few years. As the Worldwide standard in ergonomic function, materials and quality, for 2015 the GP1 has a new internal structure. More comfort is ensured by the three part internal support platform (pat pending) with varying wall thickness.
German made rubber compound is of the purest quality. Forged aluminium clamps, unlike the pressed clamps preferred by the copies. Great for your providing extra comfort on your Electric Bike. Small diameter, large also available.
These grips are great for spreading the weight of your body out so that your hands don’t go numb. Prior to using ergo-grips, my hands would regularly get numb from the round handle bar grip shape of stock grips.
I tried a cheap set of ergo grips years ago, and they actually improved the numbness. But when I found these for not much more, I never had a reason to get anything else particularly given the surface area spread of these grips is way more than most any other ergo-grip I’ve found out there.
I don’t have any hand numbness issues anymore using these grips. However my wife said that while these did improve her hand numbness, it’s not completely gone for her. I suspect the problem with her bike is the stem needs to be raised.
Unfortunately the person that installed the fork, cut the tube too short. So I can’t raise the stem any significant amount. Point being, there is a limit to how much these will reduce numbness. These will certainly help, but may not eliminate hand numbness completely if your bike isn’t setup properly and locates too much of your body weight onto the handlebars.
One of the other distinct differences between these grips and standard grips is they have a grip-ring on the end that you tighten down onto the bars to hold them in place. This has 2 benefits. One is it makes installing and locating them so much easier since you aren’t fighting friction getting them on like traditional grips.
And once torqued down, they DO NOT SLIP! Another benefit of these grips that’s not touted hardly at all is the color-choice they offer. The Ergon GP1 grips come with a gray side and a black side. The gray rubber feels a tad softer than the black.
However I’ve ridden with both up, and I can’t say I can tell the difference on the trail when wearing gloves. So choose the color you prefer and don’t think second about it. Depending on how much you ride, it is possible to wear the distinct diamond-contact surfaces smooth where your palm rests.
If they do wear all the way past the rubber, it’s nice to know that they can be swapped so the other side can be used. As long as you don’t mind the color difference, it’s like getting two sets of grips for the price of one.
Ergon GP1-S Small grip for use with twists shifters. Package contains right and left grips and Ergon logo decorative end plugs. Aluminum clamping ring is for the 23. 8mm grip area diameter, but comes with adapters for use with 22.
2mm grip area diameter. Good quality soft rubber, with an aluminum clamping ring tightened by a 5mm hex head cap screw. These grips are very comfortable, supporting the lower palm of your hands while riding.
Spreads the weight of your shoulders over a larger area of your palms, easing the shock to your palms from rough roads. Search for the ergon site: Ergon GP-1 to see details of design, construction, and sizing.
Large, Small, and Rohloff/Nexus (left Large, Right small) refers to the grip length, not the padded area.
The grips have ergonomically engineered surface structures to optimise riding performance. Soft, ultra-grippy diamond tread is inspired by race grips for comfort and feedback. The grip length is 123 mm but can be trimmed to 114 mm if required and has open ends so that bar end weights can be fitted.
Sealed for life. Rain proof switch. Draws under 4A. 22 mm handlebars. 123 mm / 114 mm.
After 4 years my genuine ( Japanese motorcycle manufacturer) heated grips failed. The switch cover had perished and allowed water to destroy the electronic bits. At one third the price of genuine replacements Oxford ticked all the boxes and my order was placed.
3 days later i was installing them. Instructions were easy to follow and installation could be as easy or difficult as you make it. I elected to route all the wiring under the tank and mount the controller to the dash.
Difficult. ish. The only complaint I have is Oxford suggest you place the grips on the bars with the wires under the grip and I found my thumbs would get fouled while going for the blinker or the starter button so I would suggest going over.
The heat from these grips is excellent and the battery saving mode is excellent as well. Comfortable to hold economical and not offensive to the eye what more do you need? I wonder if they last 4 years?.
For Honda Forza 300 ABS ,2014 The grips looks well built. I tested them before fitting – working fine straight out of the box. Fitting: left grip – no problems to fit ( little glue used ) Right grip -diameter is slightly smaller to fit straight away, only able to fit after I removed off completely (using machinery with sand paper) all extra bits on the handlebar.
Smart controller – easy to fit to left handlebar using provided metal plate( fits perfectly) All the cables from both grips and controller a bit of a fiddle to fit nicely under pannels all the way to the battery ( under the seat) but after some efforts perfectly done.
Overall – hot as promised , looking well made , specifically for my model some effort required to fit ( it took me about couple hours). Time will tell how long will last , si far all good.
Excellent and simple installation. I used to have to older Sports heated grips. Although great I was constantly worrying if I turned them off or not when parked up. Well no more worrying with these new ones.
The smart controller recognised when the engine is off and also monitors the battery level. In both cases if they turn off then the grips turn themselves off. I believe the instructions give you 2 minutes before stopping the heat and waiting on standby for a further 5 minutes then turn completely off.
In simple terms no finding switch lives, messing about with your wiring loom etc. Just fit and play. One thing to note for first time users make sure your throttle grip snaps back to the off position quickly as this would be an MOT failure.
Test the handles left to right making sure the wire doesn’t catch and throttle closes quickly before applying any glue. I’ve used the super glue before in the past and although it does work I’ve found Evostick red glue is great.
Gives you more time before setting allowing a finer adjustment when fitted. Although takes a good 24hrs to set. Just my personal preference. As for the Oxford product you can’t go wrong and the price is great, I paid a lot more a couple of years back.
Bracket with fittings provided and control unit now screws to the bracket so no pad losing its stick after 6 months.
These handles are designed for a completely natural hand position on your handlebars. The handles are made of 100% silicone, they are damping and available in 7 colors. The handles have three different parts (34 mm – 32 mm – 34 mm).
Each part flows seamlessly and creates the perfect manual placement in a natural way. Suitable for people with thicker hands.
I’ve been using these on my bikes for years now. I prefer the Chunky over the Extra Chunky, but for rigid bikes or hardtails the Extra Chunky has a little more cushion. The hand feel is better to me on the regular Chunky version.
These are so much more comfy than rubber grips and keep the hands feeling good after a hard day of riding. I have fairly large hands (glove size L) so I can use either thickness comfortably. However if you have smaller hands the Extra Chunky might be too much.
I get a pretty good amount of life out of these but they do tear easier than some harder rubber grips, especially around the bar end areas. I don’t get any throttle after installing these with some rubbing alcohol which can’t be said about other brands like Oury.
The only downside is that riding gloveless if you get sweaty hands these start to become a little slippery after some time on the bike.
I switched to ESI Chunkys on a friend’s recommendation after suffering sore forearms for a week from riding the LPS with normal rubber grips. I haven’t used anything else since. Recently stepped up to the Extra Chunky and love the extra volume.
If you happen to forget your gloves at home, the Chunkys will save your hands. Good gripiness even with sweat and no blisters. I’ve had one or two grips split from falls where the handlebar end hit the ground and a rock must have pierced the grip.
Otherwise, they’ve been durable and I’ll take a grip I have to replace every now and then for the superior grip and comfort.
I sustained a seemingly permanent hand injury when some fool threw their car door into me last year whilst I was pedaling my bike to work in the bike lane at roughly 20MPH. Broken pinky finger right where it joins on the palm of my hand.
The surgeon fixed it, went to physical therapy for several months, but still get hand fatigue on long mountain bike rides. Fortunately I have ESI Extra Chunky grips on most of my bikes (running the Wolf Tooth Fat Paws on two other bikes, theyre slightly cushier) and so I can ride without major discomfort on 100+ mile mountain bike rides.
Was running ODI lock-on grips before the incident, but cannot go back to those anymore. I am partial to ESI Grips since they used to me one of my sponsors for the MTB racing team I was on from 2014 2017, but their grips ROCK! Oh, and these are PURPLE!!!.
Rogue Lock-On Grips are perfect for those who prefer a larger grip. Large raised pads and a knurled surface texture offer improved traction and help to form deep grooves which channel water away from your hands.
The grips also feature our patented Lock-On technology which provides easy installation and 100% slip-free performance. Guaranteed.

This is a good Item. I’ve been looking for something to create a wider grip on dumbbells and barbells. I know the wider grip is supposed to be of greater benefit when lifting, but the real reason I got these was just because the wider grip feels more comfortable for me.
These do not provide cushioning but the wider grip for me just feels better. The rubber itself does have somewhat of a comfortable feel to it, at least for me. I also take my lifting gloves off when I use these, there is no need to wear them.
I started using them on dumbbells and now use them on the barbell bar. I like that I can rotate the grips around on the bar when its overhead before I start the set to get just the right distance between the grips.
I also started using these on bike handle bars, riding a road bike on a bike trainer, to raise my arms up a bit so I am not as bend over. They help some, in that regard, but again the wide grip just feels good to me.
I own several styles of “Fat Grip” type products. I purchased these as a secondary set of 2 inch grips, just to add to the efficiency of my workouts. The inner diameter of these grips is slightly smaller than the original Fat Grips, but I find that they are perfect for dumbbells with smaller handles.
They fit very well on the threaded adjustable dumbbell handles, but for me they have found a permanent place on my York 35 lb. dumbbells. For the price, you can’t go wrong. Thanks!.
Exactly what I was looking for! I bought the 2. 75″ Dmoose grips for my dip bar and glad I didn’t go smaller in diameter. The outside diameter of the pipe is 1 1/4″ that is why there is a gap with the rubber grip.
Even with the grip set up like this, they do not slide or turn while I am performing dips. The grips are solid with the right amount of pliability. I wish I had known about these sooner!! What ever size diameter grips you purchase, I believe you will love them.
DMR collaborated with Brendan Fairclough to bring you the Deathgrip, the ultimate MTB grip suitable for all MTBs. Brendan Fairclough wanted the ultimate grip that he could use on all his bikes, the DMR were happy to accomodate.
The tapered core ensures a solid fit whilst eliminating the need for an outer lock ring, and then Brendan’s grip design was wrapped around it. The grip itself was designed for incredible traction and comfort, with a waffle and knurl pattern for grip and a mushroom for comfort too.
The Deathgrip also offers awesome versatility, available in thick or thin, and soft or firm to suit your preferance.
The best of both worlds. The new all-mountain comfort grip. This concept combines the relief benefits and wrist support of ergonomic wing grips with the freedom of movement of rounder MTB grips. Experience gained with the GA2 showed that the ergonomically optimised shape allows for low gripping forces; textures are adapted to the grip zones of the human hand; wall thickness of the inner core double butted to increase damping comfort.
The excellent grip is typical for Ergon. The super soft, UV-stable rubber compound is exclusively manufactured in Germany for Ergon! This allows greater control even on demanding trails. The inboard clamp allows even more gripping area at the end of the bars, it is completely secure and carbon bar friendly.
GA2 with extra thick circumference. Specifically for riders with large hands or high demands for damping. The ergonomic optimized form, allows reduced force while gripping, because the grip zones are matched to the hand.
The inner construction varies in thickness allowing greater damping. The GA2 Fat has a superb tactile feel – The super soft, UV-stable rubber compound is exclusively manufactured in Germany for Ergon.
This allows greater control even on demanding trails. The inboard clamp allows even more gripping area at the end of the bars, it is completely secure and carbon bar friendly. With replaceable endplug.
Gravity control rubber material. Extra thick gripping range.
Root Industries all-new R2 Grips are longer length, longer-lasting, and the perfect balance between softness and longevity. Grips provide a direct connection between rider and scooter, so it is vital to have a comfortable buffer.
The UK specific Oxford Advanced HotGrips feature 9 heat settings to give increased control for the perfect operating temperature with LED lights to indicate the level. The intelligent heat setting memory function stores the previous heat setting and defaults to this at power up, saving time when in regular use.
The heat controller uses a sealed-for-life welded case construction for long term durability and weather proofing along with weather proof power connectors to further protect the HotGrips against the elements.
The battery saving mode protects against flat batteries. If you forget to turn the switch off, it will do it for you. If the engine is switched off, the grips will automatically turn off until enough power is available.
This eliminates the need for the user to buy and fit relays. The grips have ergonomically engineered surface structures to optimise riding performance. Thicker rubber in areas of maximum wear ensure high levels of grip and vibration absorption.
Thanks to their unique expandable design and fool proof wiring loom, HotGrips are extremely easy to fit. Connection to the motorcycle could not be simpler. Simply connect the two ring connectors to the battery.
Heats up nice and quickly anything above 60% is too hot with thin gloves, but the higher settings are great on proper cold days when the heat has to get through my think winter gloves. Easy to understand and to fit (I did have to lift my tank to find a good route for the wires, this is just the way my bike is though.
) Fuse was broken in mine which caused me a moment of stress but can’t really be helped and easy replaced. Not noticeably better than the next model down which I had before these, but the extra 2 years warranty and battery saver mode was worth the extra 15 I paid for these top of the range ones.
Just wish it didn’t flash for as long after turning the bike off – I feel like it attracts attention and would encourage someone to mess with it. You can turn them off manually, but then it doesn’t remember your last setting which is the whole point.
I overcame this issue by mounting it inside the fairing so it’s not visible from off the bike.
As expected, excellent quality from Oxford heated grips. I did my research and ordered the correct sized for my bike. The isnsuicosn wee clrear and eveyign nmeecessay for installation was supplied, including a small tube of superglue which I ignored (I used the old hairspray trick to fit the grips to the bars).
I wired the controller to a PowerHub so the grips only work when the ignition is on. This means the controller won’t remember its last setting but I would rather people can’t mess with the controller when the bike is parked, flattening the bike’s battery.
In use they work perfectly, with excellent gradient control over the heat settings.
Fitting was straightforward on my 2021 Honda Rebel 500. Connectors look a bit mickey mouse but they work perfectly. Grips get really warm and turn off automatically if you forget. I love the ‘chunkyness’ of the grips, makes them more comfortable than the original Honda grips.
These work ok but the parallel ribs are kind of funky. They feel too tall and wobble back and forth under your thumb. Would be better if the ribs weren’t so tall or even better if they were just knubby dots.
They do fit tight which is good. Even needed some lubrication to install on wider reel paddle type handles. Would buy again but thats my suggestion for a better product.
I PURCHASED THESE FOR ONE REEL YEARS AGO. I LIKED HOW THEY HELPED WITH MY GRIP. MY OLD HANDS DONT HAVE THE GRIP THEY USED TO. SO I BOUGHT ENOUGH FOR ALL MY REELS. 12 OF THEM. I ONLY BASS FISH AND THEY ARE A MUST HAVE FOR DOING ALL THE CASTING.
I HAVE HAD THEM ON SEVERAL REELS FOR SEVERAL YEARS. THE REELS WEAR OUT AND I JUST TAKE THEM OFF AND PUT ON THE NEW REELS. ONE OF THOSE GADGETS THAT ARE ACTUALLY WORTH BUYING.
Ride like a pro with the Steve Peat inspired Signature lock-on grips. Lock-on grips are designed to easily slide onto the handlebar and clamp with the rings to ensure it is secure and won’t slip during the most intense rides.
Providing a sturdy ride, the patented lock-on design eliminates unwanted movement to maximise the riders control and comfort. Lizard Skins lock-on grips include the grips, clamps, screws and plugs. Length 130 mm; Weight With plugs 112 grams; Diameter 30.
Very nice product! While ‘feel’ is subjective, (What I like may not be your thing), they are nice and grippy. Even when super cold with gloves on. I was a bit concerned about lock-on grip on a CF bar.
(I’ve had very limited experience with CF). But, after seeing MANY experienced riders doing it, I knew I’d be OK. USE COMMON SENSE!! I have a set of FSA K-Force bars which are supposedly notoriously slick.
I had NO issues at all. I ‘snuck-up’ on them by tightening, then trying to twist them. I didn’t go ANY more than required to keep them from turning. Just tiny amounts of tightening at a time. They LOOK great on these bars too! I didn’t use the end plugs that came with them as I have nice plugs that go in pretty far and tighten with a screw.
But. if you have none or yours are ratty, the supplied ones are fine. To me, they seem a bit pricey, but they ALL are, so. based on that, I just paid it and that’s that. They fit great, clamp nicely, look great and have a nice feel.
I bought these to replace my other Peaty’s. They didn’t need to be replaced but I wanted white grips. I can’t profess to be an expert on all things grips but I don’t think I’ll ever buy a different pair.
These are grippy and very comfortable. I ride with gloves mostly but also do a fair share without gloves. There is just the right amount of tack. If you buy white grips they will get dirty. very dirty.
but I just clean them when I’m cleaning my drivetrain after every ride and they continue to look sharp.

DEITY Knuckleduster Grips The grip of choice for World Cup style assassin and gloveless wonder, Sam Blenkinsop, DEITY Knuckleduster grips embody Deity’s attention to detail and their focus on function! Taking a risk and thinking outside the box is where DEITY thrives and these are certainly case in point! Not only have they developed their TRC rubber blend that gives you remarkable grip with incredible durability, the Knuckleduster also features a tapered internal sleeve that you have to tap onto your handlebar for full engagement.
The tapered sleeve feels like it is already locked into place once fully tapped onto the bar and coupled with a single bolt lock-on clamp, you will not develop any play. The body of the grip combines the best elements of a half-waffle, mushroom ribbing, and an ergo feel in a stunning package.
Featuring a mushroom pattern to minimize vibration, the true magic of DEITY Knuckleduster grips lies in the V channel chevron ribs that ergonomically fill the swell of your palm and then seamlessly transition to a recessed half waffle on the underside.
Why is this magic? All half waffle patterns are outboard and are notorious for creating hot spots on long rides. By designing the top to seamlessly transition to a recessed half waffle pattern, your fingers sit perfectly into the grip and allow you full control even in the roughest of conditions without being plagued by hot spots or blisters.
The Deity Knuckleduster grips truly are an “all day grip” that allow you to keep it Pinned Wide Open at all times!.
When the multi-time AMA Champion Jeff Emig wanted to revive his family brand EMIG Racing he came to ODI to develop a new grip. After being introduced to the new V2 Lock-On Grip system Jeff immediately saw the benefits of the new technology.
In addition to the ease of installation, Jeff found that there were larger benefits such as a new smooth throttle tube with every new pair. Throttle tube included with snap-on cam to match more models.
Knockout ends easily accommodate handguards. No safety wire required means longer grip life, even in the event of a crash. Medium diameter knurled pattern EMIG Design includes special designed half-waffle pattern with thumb relief.
Includes cams for full size bikes. Sold as a pair. Note: All cams included for big bike motocross models, 2-stroke and some other models may require a specific cam, sold separately.
2006 CRF450r. Beware, B Cam for CRF is 1. 5mm larger in diameter than stock. Save yourself some grief by screwing in the cable adjusters all the way first thing before you begin. I also had to at carburetor requiring removal of tank.
If you don’t you risk the throttle sticking. Difficult twisting throttle is clue that the cables are too tight. Haven’t ridden yet so can’t comment on feel or performance. BTW the cam isn’t indexed to the tube, so if you have to change cams, mark position on tube or the EMIG likely will be pointing in wrong direction and you get to do it all over again, and again, and again.
This is basically a 1/3 waffle pattern, in cool color combinations, that seems to function well. Because the rubber part of the grip has to share space with the plastic sub frame there is a trade off between the diameter of the grip (seems slightly bigger than normal) and the amount of vibration that is translated thru the grip (seems slightly higher than others I have used).
If you like thin grips the additional size may be an issue as it doesn’t offer the benefits of additional rubber that you usually get with thicker grips. I’m not sure if the rogue version of this will provide more dampening, but I will likely try it next time around.
If neither work or the rogue grip is too big for my liking I will likely go back to a standard glue/wire on grip. These are used with full wrap hand guards. They went on well, no slippage, and I have had no issues with durability from use or crashes due to the protection of the outer hand guards.
Only other thing to note is about the indexing of the throttle grip. You can’t really tweak it much as it is set with the throttle cam. Not a big issue, but should be noted. The rogue pattern may make this much less of an issue.
