Bought this with some hesitation, just wasn’t convinced would get the decibal boost needed. Currently living in a 2,000 sq ft metal barndominium while we construct our new home over the next year. In a rural location, we were getting around -95 dBm outside (2/3 bars on ATT).
Inside the metal barn, -120 (1 bar at best, and frequent drops). Install: Decided to try and did self install. Took about 2 hours at a leisurely pace. Longest time honestly was wire routing from outside antenna and drilling into barn at amp location.
Also shortened RG11 and re-terminated 1 end. As an aside, not really sure the extra shielding of RG11 is totally needed in most situations, but whatever. Have RG11 between outside antenna and amp – 50’ run, and RG6 between amp and indoor antenna at approx 6’.
Performance: Been fantastic. We didn’t pick up 75dB (didn’t expect to given our weaker outside signal), but we are consistently at full bars and with 5g if not on Wi-Fi. In numbers, depending where in barn, in the high -70s to high -80s.
So picked up about 50dB. All in all, did what it said it would do, and that’s give us solid reception for working from inside a metal structure, in a rural location, both of which are notoriously difficult for cell signals.
My Home Room Signal Booster boosted signal from 0-1 bars to 3+ bars in a rural mountain area with a saddleback mountain between the tower and the booster. This has not only boosted my iPhone signal, but allows me to connect a WWAN (cell modem) in my laptop at the same time; so I can run a separate higher volume data-only plan for my laptop.
Cellular throughput varies wildly – sometimes I can see 2. 5 Mbps download and upload speeds, sometimes 1. 5 Mbps download and 0. 5 Mbps upload, sometimes an utterly abysmal 0. 2 Mbps upload, rarely 0.
0 upload. So while this has significantly improved cellular phone and LTE 4G data, it hasn’t solved all of my cellular woes – which are most likely due to atmospheric conditions (affects radio signals) and possibly congestion with my carrier – US Cellular (they’re the only game NOT in town – ie.
the only rural carrier that works here. I can get a couple of bars off of the more remote Verizon tower; but even with this booster, can’t maintain a data connection for more than a few seconds). I mounted the Yagi antenna on a 10 foot PVC 1.
5″ pipe attached to the side of a 12 foot tall storage building – but the difference in signal between +10′ and +5′ is negligible. Pointing it towards Verizon didn’t help any; so I’m sticking with US Cellular and pointing at their tower.
Installed this on a farraday cage (my steel-sided & steel roof Barn/Apartment) in a very rural location. I was able to print a map of cell towers in my area (closest about 10 mi westerly in Ozark Mountains (hills)).
Installed it on a PVC riser I added to a west-facing plumbing trap on the outside wall about 25′ off the ground & pointed it directly in direction of tower. Drilled through steel exterior & long bit to reach interior & pulled coax through (sealed w/ clear caulk to keep bugs out).
Ran the coax along and behind beams to conceal it. One drawback, I had to buy a black coax cable because the white that came would have stood out terribly bad in my situation. The converter runs very hot to the touch but has not created a fire on the wood beam it is attached to.
Something not shared on-line is that the interior antenae is to be 30′ away if horizontal or 20′ lower than outside antenae otherwise. I did a triangular geometry calc to have it ~10′ lower & 25′ horiz from the exterior antenae & it works fantastic.
It even goes through wood walls/floors (but only have one wall or floor between any location in my case–not multiple). This product has worked great. I can now bring reception inside & use my iPhone as a HotSpot to run Zoom Mtgs, etc.
on my computer. I’m back in business after shielding myself with steel siding.

This cell signal booster works pretty well, but I didn’t fully understand the extent of outside work required. The packaging does not explain this adequately. Granted, there was a gigantic Best Buy squ sticker covering 4″ x 5″ of the box, which may have had more explanations.
But you need to mount a big antenna on an outside pole or strucuture, then run a cable into your house. This is difficult in my situation- a rental property, I can’t just erect a pole on the roof as the instructions suggest.
Also I can’t just drill a hole thru the wall, and don’t want to leave a window cracked. I wish this had been clearly explained on the package. But it does work pretty well, once it is installed. The included hardware is good for attaching to whatever structure is available.
In my household are two Samsung S20 FE 5G Unlocked, one on Spectrum/Verizon (mine) and one on Cricket/AT&T and two Pixel 3a’s one Mint Mobile/T-Mobile and one on Spectrum. While the 2 Samsungs are 5G capable, they do not have mmWave for Verizon UltraWideband (high-band 5G), but could use their Nationwide 5G (considered low-band 5G) when it is deployed in my area.
At&t’s 5G might be available on Cricket right now in my area (at least the low-band) but that mobile line doesn’t meet the requirement to access it. This booster states it is ready for 5G, but that will be the sub6 variety given the bands it says it will work with 5G (12/17, 13, 5, 4, and 25/2); which compromise the low and mid band 5G ranges of the sub6 spectrum.
All 3 carriers get boosted when in range and call quality is perfect; sounds like the person is right there. My house is located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and I’m in a bowl of land topography.
All of the 3 cellular providers get about 2 bars inside the home both upstairs and downstairs gets about the same signal. It doesn’t ever drop during calls, but call quality definitely suffers. My use is for increased signal in my basement office.
I have used a zBoost product for many years and worked great until VOLTE became mainstream and bands began to get repurposed. Now it doesn’t help at all. Lately I have been using Wifi-Calling but I will have call drop out too often around the 15 minute mark or it will have a grainy/robotic sound.
The weBoost is working great for my needs. The exterior location of the antenna gets 4 bars on my phone and both Cell Mapper and Open Signal apps show full bars in that location. From the booster in the basement, I have full bars in the office and 3 bars up from 1 to 2 typically when in the adjacent downstairs living room.
Overall I am pleased. A word on finding the tower for your area. In the box instructions weBoost recommends the Open Signal app, but on their webapge Cell Mapper, with an included tutorial on how to find the tower to make sure the antenna is in the best orientation to receive the signal.
Cell Mapper is pretty in-depth in scope, but actually shows where the tower is on a map. Open Signal is super easy to use and quickly points where the tower is like a compass. However, Open Signal asks for way more permissions and collects more data.
So I would recommend using it for just the quick setup and then uninstalling the app. While this is designed to be used with a poll, it can be mounted on decking. Because this is not considered an omni-directional antenna, it is better to mount on a poll to achieve the best orientation, however, mine is pointed in the general direction of the tower and mounted on my front porch and I have achieved the gains I was hoping for.
The instructions also state that the coverage level you will receive inside, is determined by the signal strength of the antenna location outside. So if your signal is weak outside, then you will see an upgrade inside, but the coverage area inside won’t be as great.
Since I already had a booster antenna setup, I did not use the included RG6 coax cable; although it is way better quality than what came with the zBoost. I had previously run an RG6-Quad shield and between a 50ft – 60ft run.
The kit comes with two 30ft connections with a female coupler. If you have a great high speed, low-latency connection outside at the antenna install point, I would think the coupler would be fine to use if you need more distance than 30ft, however, if you are dBm’s are high I would recommend a run without a splitter/coupler.

We got the booster installed last night and did notice an improvement in cell reception. Unfortunately, we use cellular for home internet and since we booked up the signal booster the internet connection has been very unstable.
The lights on the device are all green indicating its working as it should but it’s only made or internet signal worse instead of better. Trying to figure out where to keep our return it.
I live in a rural area with very little signal and alot of dropped calls and sometimes took a very long time to send a text. I also purchased the Arrow LPDA Antenna. No more problems with dropped calls or long send times for my texts.
Download is alot faster so I can now use the internet also. I am very happy with my system and also am glad the tech recommended the Arrow LPDA Antenna.

Complete installation can be done in half an hour by one person With a better incoming signal, cell phones require less output power to send and receive a signal.
This can significantly reduce the required transmission power of mobile phones and therefore reduce the level of electromagnetic radiation exposure to the human body. At the same time, having a better signal reduces power usage, which saves your battery and can and improve battery life of phones on standby mode by up to an additional 2 hours.
Very easy install and it works better than it was supposed to! Most of the time I didn’t even have 1 bar before, – 120db, but I bought even though specs said it probably would not work. I do have a relatively small excellent area, but I have at least 3 bars in the whole house.
This is the first time to choose this brand AMAZBOOST, It is new but works great, highly recommend. We had 0 to two signal bars all the time. I installed this item and there is three to four bars all the time.

took a great deal of efffort to carefully install. Used app to determinine direction that antenna was to point. Our house is 3 story brick. The direction allowed us to install the antenna using an aluminum extrusion to which we mounted the antenna.
We extended the antenna thru the end gable vent of the house. Ran Coax through the attic and down to a closet on the second floor total distance drawing a straight line from antenna to booster was 31 foot.
Dropped Coax from the closet where booster was mounted and ran to Inside antenna mounted on the wall in the main house corridor. Had to purchase longer piece of coax and total ran of coax was 52′. Straight line distance from antenna thru second floor to attic to outdoor antenna 30 foot vertical.
I even tried to use one of the pieces of coax provided as an extension and move indoor antenna to various parts of first floor. only see one bubble and on rare occasions two. Spent almost 45 minutes trying to adjust the direction of the antenna to improve signal.
adjsuted in increments of approx 3 degrees each time. going both directions from the 45 degree angle the phone app arrow indicated. Still drop calls. Extremely disappointed.
Certainly looks well designed, robustly made without question. The kit is well thought out and complete (could have used one more adapter to allow all possible combinations of cable/device/cable connections, but no big deal).
I haven’t been able to get the exterior antenna up on the roof yet, so can’t judge actual performance yet. Normally I get two, maybe 3 bars on the cell phone; I often have to go outside to connect for an outgoing call but once it connects I can go back inside without it dropping.
Local towers are within 3 – 6 miles and basically unobstructed (from the roof which I can’t get to), but I hear they’re maxxed out in terms of traffic so (I’m told) their range automatically contracts.
So far, the temporary configuration I’ve been able to rig up – below the roofline, no clear line of sight to a cell tower – should show at least a noticeable improvement, but there is literally no difference, not even a single new bar, no matter which direction I point either antenna, or if I just unplug the whole thing.
This is mildly disappointing, but like I say, the arrangement is far from optimal. I still have high hopes that when I’m able to get it dialed in,.
A week of that WeBoost Cell Phone Booster, and I at least dig it. The very fact that my KaiOS dumb-phone isn’t a useless paperweight now, makes the difference to me. Here’s mounting PIC’s. Yes. Since this is CPU and DSP based tech, and that the 5VDC, 3.
5A, power supply is switching, I have ferrite chokes all over this set-up. I suspect that my sister and brother-in-law are disappointed that they are not seeing a 5-Bar signal from this system around the house.
Well, if this is indeed working like a satellite transponder, it’s not going to, here. I’d have to have the beam totally line-of-site, looking at the cell tower. That can’t happen, here. So yeah, a bit of expense to shell-out $655.
00 for, what looks like mediocre and medium signal, but in the long term ahead, I’m believing that this will pay for itself. Me??? I think that it’s stupid to have a phone carrier that, at best, 1/2-ass works.
Now, it does. Plus??? This booster works on other carriers, should we decide to dump AT&T wireless’s butt in the future. Anyway. I’m more than content upon how this system works. It turns uselessness to being something practical.

It’s the least expensive one offered for help. It works we got from 1 or no bars to 2. Installation is easy however someone elderly it would be difficult for them to install. Somewhat easy if you can climb and physical capabilities to do it.
It would be too expensive to have someone install it for you. The window feature is nice.
I’m using the single room booster. My signal before the connection was -111 to -118 dbi or higher. The best place for the antenna was not the highest place, but a horizontal location where we were able to get -74 to -99 dbi.
I was really frustrated with the weak signal we were getting here. I couldn’t do anything, including opening attachments on my email, but many times I wasn’t even getting my email. I am thrilled that I am able to use my phone pretty normally now in my room, and I’m able to use my phone to make a Hotspot connection on my computer for doing my job search and other things.
It’s a bit slow doing the Hotspot but that’s the only option for this rural area. My download and upload speeds are quite low (from less than 1 mbps to 2mbps – never 3mbps), but this is not the fault of the booster but of the phone carrier who doesn’t care to use fiver optic technology in the towers that are out here in the boonies.
The booster only strengthens the signal – that is its purpose.

Bought this to boost LTE cell signal for a Verizon service in the Travelers Rest SC area. Terrible service coverage with “no service” to fluctuating 1 bar signal. With a 20 foot antenna, I am able to get a better signal 2 bars.
Not great but better than no service. I can’t use it for streaming anything. Ok for websites, and texting. I wa expecting better gain. Setup was not as easy. Wish the display onboard was more friendly to help setup.
Had to try different position randomly to find descent signal. It should have given a display and tell me which way to orient the antenna but it does not. It is not easy to install. The quality of both antenna are cheap plastic boxes and will probably no last.
Also instructions not very clear for installation. had to figure it myself with an engineering background.

The sale, delivery, and packaging were all great. But the booster is a huge disappointment. I have the outside antenna at the ridge of the house and around 45 feet from the inside antenna. When I got it in, it said in the instructions that it needed to be within 30 miles of a tower and I’m at least 60 miles from one.
I don’t remember this in the ad. I have it two feet from where I sit in my living room and I get 1-2 bars, but don’t receive anything any better than before. I don’t get any signal in the rest of the house.
I have zero bars 10 feet away and definitely don’t get any in the rest of the house. Living within 30 miles from a tower would be nice, but that isn’t something I have control over. If you have a tower within 30 miles, I still don’t know if I would recommend it.
If you live further from a tower, I would not recommend it at all.
I thought since this could be adjusted to specific channels and other unused channels turned down, it would be a good solution. My experience was good for about 2 to 3 days. I restarted it and all was good again for a little over a day.
Made a multitude or antenna adjustments including a directional YAGI and new cable. Same result so I emailed support and they told me all manner of things I should try, and every single one I had already done with no better performance and did again just because.
This device is also supposed to have auto gain. I ended up going back to my original booster and it actually was more stable. After a time, I thought I would try again, and replaced the inside antenna this time too.
Same result. 2 days Ok, then had to restart it. Emailed support and again they gave me a list of things to do that I had already done. They agreed to test it, so I sent it in. They ended up sending me a replacement.
Turns out it acted exactly the same way. 2 to 3 days of decent reception, and then I had to restart it. Turns out that this will shut itself down if it thinks it is to close to the outside donor. My donor it 20 feet higher and outside.
Also if there was an issue, why does it work fine for 2 to 3 days before it starts shutting down the channels? Also if this is supposed to have auto-gain, why doesn’t it adjust itself down to a usable level before it disables itself? If you are thinking that I need to move it, why does the old booster work fine just a few feet away from this booster using the exact same donor antenna 20 feet up? I can use the old booster for months before having to restart it when I think there is an issue, only to find it is just poor cell service in my area at the time.
In other words I typically do not ever have to restart it. Ultimately the auto-gain should take care of any looping and it should be able to recover without having to be restarted. According to support, it will not, regardless of the auto-gain.
We purchased this to get better service at a camp in the mountains that only gets spotty service in certain spots of the building or property (i. e. one bar and rarely 4G). Calls were spotty to not possible at times.
I tried some of the apps recommended for finding the best signal. not that user friendly and full of ads. Turns out Android phones have a way to show dbm signal real time without an app, so that worked much better.
After about and hour walking around trying to get best signal spots, and already knowing where the tower location was, we setup the outside antenna (be sure to clearly read the instructions for important setup).
Then set up the booster and inside antenna and checked connections. I flicked the switch and it was like we were in a movie. everyone’s phones started going off with emails and text messages that we normally wouldn’t get.
We now have 1 – 3 bars consistently, with no trouble calling out, and get emails and watch videos (in that order of importance). The camp and coverage area is small (as they advertise), but it’s nice not to have to wander around outside, stand on a rock, or do the hoki-pokey to get a signal.
Every room in a 1000sq. ft camp gets service, but very little range extended outside (as expected). We are happy, thank you!.
The SureCall Fusion4Home cell phone signal booster increases cellular signal strength for voice, text and 4G LTE data. Fusion4Home provides clear and consistent coverage for cellular devices in a home or office.
When everything you do doesn’t improve your situation, trust in a HiBoost. The outside antenna, which is mounted outside of your building on a wall or the roof, captures the weak cellular signal from the nearest tower.
I’ve had a cabin for three years in the Sangre de Cristo mtns, at 8,750′ elevation, and surrounding mtns around me are a few thousand feet higher than that, so I had my doubts, but thought I’d take a chance, anyway.
In order to ever get phone calls, I’d have to climb a few hundred feet up my mtn to around 9,000′ before I could get coverage. On rare occasions, I could actually get something at cabin, but if I did, it wasn’t for long, and nearly always dropped calls, or phone conversations couldn’t be made out.
At least this told me that some kind of signal might exist that would possible be enough that this device could boost it. Finally, hooked this up, and within a few seconds, I went to signal strength, and it dropped about 30dBm points instantly and went to 1 asu.
For 3 weeks, I continued to check signal strength, it averages about 20-40 points less than without it, and as most know, the less the number the better. Bars don’t really tell you much, so if you have a typical android phone, go to “settings”, scroll down to “about device” hit it, then “Status” which will give you your signal strength.
I spent a lot of money on this product, but very happy with it. I didn’t have good result with weboost on their mobile device, so thought I’d try this brand. So glad I did. Although it looks intimidating to hook up, it is ridiculously easy to do so.
I actually just looked at the labels on antennae’s and cables which tell you one is for outside antennae, other is for inside antennae, then the booster itself and power supply. I didn’t bother to read the instructions until afterjust to double check everything.
🙂 It’s all there other than a pole you need to get.
Our office building has really atrocious signal. It’s in the middle of downtown so its strong outside but it just doesn’t go inside at all. We were set to host an event for headquarters and if executives came and couldn’t get service I knew they would at the very least complain but there could be some actual consequences if it ruined their productivity.
I did some quick research and settled on the home 4k so we could boost all carriers. It worked like a charm, you would never have known that we used to struggle to get signal in the building. It’s really easy to set up as long as you can get up to the roof and the customer support is great and will walk you through your problems.
I would recommend this to anyone on the fence and needs an easy way to boost their signal.
Absolutely fantastic results. We had great signal outside the house but the second we went inside it all dissappeared. One of my friends recommended we use one because that’s what he used to boost his signal.
We did some shopping around and decided to go for it as well. Installation was tough but we managed in an afternoon. Afterwards we were floored when we got 4 bars inside. Now we can tell when someone is texting or calling when we are on the couch not when were about to leave the house.
