20 Best Boxing Gloves For Small Hands (2022 Updated)

I just got these and I have to say they are crap. Padding is barely there my instantly hurt from one use was extremely disappointed. Walmart has a better pair for two bucks more 9round is the brand and they are significantly better quality.

I was hoping that because I was getting these from Dick’s it would have been better quality. Don’t waste your money on these. Just also to say only thing I have ever gotten from Dick’s that I was disappointed in.

These are nice fitting heavy bag gloves. They are easy to take off and put back on, and they are comfortable. The quality isnt what I expected, however. The top layer of fabric was peeling in several places when they arrived and only got worse as they were used more.

Aside from the issue with the peeling, they were fine. They would be nice to have for the kids or friends when they come over and want to use the bag. I would recommend checking them out if you are looking for something less expensive.

Well, they are good for grappling. They provide zero protection for punching or any other striking movements. One class in and my hands were beat to heck and my second knuckles were chafed up and bleeding.

The wrist strap provided no support at all. They run exceptionally large. I’m 6ft 1 and have relatively normal sized hands. Smalls were almost too big for me.

Great gloves. I use them for bag work and for occasional sparring. Great amount of wrist support and decent protection. Wear good hand wraps with them and protect your bones. Only downside is I bought them a size smaller than I should’ve.

The extra padding of the bigger gloves would come in handy. And this is just me but my hands sweat quite a bit when I wear them. Thank goodness for handwraps soaking it up. Overall great glove. Not perfect, but very close.

I purchased a pair of the Blue 16 oz ones for sparring about a year ago and they are still going strong. Decided to purchase the gold 12 oz ones for bag work and other training and absolutely love them as well.

I’m very convinced these are the best gloves for the value.

Great fit. I have pretty small hands and they still open to catch punches. Material is good quality. Soft inside, durable outside even though it’s fabric. More comfortable than my everlasts. The straps get nice and tight.

I’ve gotten several compliments on the design and pointed them this way. They look fresh to death.

Overall decent gloves and great design. Do know that the casing uses a fabric/cloth material instead of synthetic leather, not sure how durable it’ll be when sweat consistently get into the fabric. Foam is a little stiff at first but I think for injected molded foam it just needs to be broken in a bit.

Purchased a pair for my gym class box fit. While they’re ok, and do the job. The padding isn’t great, they was only 10oz but in comparison to say a pair of rdx gloves they seemed a bit lightweight. So I’d recommend 14oz or above to protect your hands more.

They’re the cheaper end of the everlast range. Maybe that’s why. But for me RDX are best value for money,I have a pair of those now and for the same price as these everlast ones the quality is so much better for your money.

They’re ok,but that’s about it. No problems with sports direct at all, ordered loads over Christmas and never had a problem at all. I’m just saying the product isn’t great for the money compared to RDX gloves.

Excellent quality boxing gloves! My son recently has shown interest in using a punching bag and these gloves are excellent for that. They are thick and protect his knuckles and the wristband steadies his wrist to help prevent injury.

He suffers from hyper hydros is which causes his hands to sweat a lot more than most people so it does get a little wet in there if he has them on too long, but that is expected. They are very padded where the knuckles are so it gives him range to hit the punching bag as hard as he wants! He loves them!.

I received these boxing gloves for my son at the perfect time because he just started his boxing classes and was extremely excited about them. He says that they fit him perfectly and are extremely comfortable to wear.

They are lightweight, which allows him to hit faster, and look “cool and tough”(his exactly words, lol!). I really like that they are made of great quality materials, very durable and resistant, specially at the hands of a kid as active as my son is.

half strap on Pro Style) as it initially appeared and felt like the more solid looking Pro Style setup would help further support your wrist and keep hand and arm locked and in line reducing possible wrist injury with mishits.

While these gloves do promote this, I personally felt like there was too much and sometimes caused me to over correct. I also am not the greatest fan of the half strap setup. Still a great glove overall just not my favorite of Everlast’s many options.

Fantastic quality. That blue gives a beautiful pop of color. Thumb space needed one or two heavy bag sessions to break in for a more comfortable fit, but it’s perfect now.

Very powerful gloves lol they are so easy to put on and feel great when I’m working out with them. Definitely recommend these training gloves they are more breathable than others I’ve tried out!

I have used my new Ringside Gel Micro Mitts for about a month now, 3 times a week, and they are very well made. The material on the inside is soft and very comfortable with the outer skin proving very durable.

The gel limits the shock of impact very well and the curved shape creates a lovely sound when you hit the sweet spot! My only criticism is that they can feel a little loose and would benefit from a raised centre inside the glove to help the hand cup more securely.

This is a small, personal preference and the mitts have not been dislodged during pad work yet. Overall, these mitts really are very high quality and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a long term, trusty pair of mitts that will stand the test of time.

Theses are very fast, light mitts. Good quality. These are very small mitts. I have small hands and they fit snug. If you are a big person with larger hands, you may have a problem holding these, because you could have trouble fitting your hand and fingers into the pocket.

Your fingers may be to long and bottom out as well. So be sure before you buy. But if they do fit, you will enjoy them.

These are legit pro style mitts. Easily withstands the big hits from real heavy weights. You won’t feel a thing. Has a nice snug fit with the flex style glove and ball inside. The padded wrist support is what makes these great.

No flopping around on your hands and always firm in your grasp. These will be around for a long time. Ringside does it right!.

Have had my SuperBag Gloves 14oz (XL) for two months now. Took appx 4 hours to break them in and the leather to form to the shape of my clenched fist but they were comfortable right from the get go. Nice loud smack on left and right hooks to the leather TKO heavy bag.

Super feel and feedback Easy on and off. Great wrist and hand support. Thumb is tighter to the meat of the glove then I have seen most other gloves from diff brands. Member in our gym ordered Cleto Reyes and after three days sent them back-saying the pocket of the hand was to small What did they replace them with? RIVAL bag gloves.

I have a pair of Rival sparring gloves and these Super Bag Gloves in all leather are a perfect compliment and hard to beat on quality/fit/comfort/performance/durability in construction of build/and price.

Another home run product from Rival-and this model of glove has been with Rival since Rivals inception as a boxing brand. Owning this glove and using it 5 to 7hrs a week I can see why! Kudos to the Rival Mexican hand Wraps-great wrap and ideal mate to wear under the RB2 Super DUPER Bag gloves!.

These are clearly quality gloves but I sent them back for a refund immediately. My hands are at the mid-to-upper end of the Large range on the sizing chart, which surprised me as I am not a big guy at all.

I rationalized that boxing glove sizes must need to accommodate very small fighters and that is why I could land in the large range for gloves. On the advice of one of the Rival reps I ordered the Large size.

The gloves I received are absolutely massive, so big that I could feel my hands slopping around inside them during a few trial punches. To give some perspective, I measured with width (not circumference) of my hand which is 3.

25 inches. The gloves are 5. 5 inches across, so there was an extra 2. 25 inches of space at the knuckles. I could have almost fit two hands in one glove. Quite disappointed as this was a waste of time and money and a bit of a hassle.

Not sure how or why Rival would utilize a size chart that is so obviously inaccurate. I decided not to exchange for another pair as my confidence in the brand is a bit shot by this obvious and easily correctible issue.

Other than the sizing issue, one thing that a buyer of these gloves should be aware of is that the wrist support is very wide, probably 3. 5 inches. They do seem to provide good wrist support through near immobilization, but I thought it was too much.

Positive impression so far. Gloves appear to be well constructed and they look great (if that’s important to anyone). I’ve only done one session in them so far, so they’re still being broken in but I’m pleased with the comfort.

The 12oz are average in size, compact enough with well distributed padding. I did see some reviews suggesting the thumb protection wasn’t enough but I have to disagree; it’s good. Well priced gloves and as per other reviews, great service and fast delivery.

Also wanted to mention the great service provided by Marc S. I emailed Rival before purchasing as was unsure which gloves to go for. I had a very detailed response within minutes from Marc. I’ll certainly be using the company again.

I like the material the gloves is made. It was very tight to insert your hand in and my son is only six year old. I had to insert my hand in a few time to loosen up the tightness. I bought other boxing equipment that come with a cheaper version gloves.

I think if I purchase the cheap club it would have still been fine. Over price!.

Been a customer for over 10 years. I ordered 6 gloved for $150 and for the 1st time ever I made a return because size was small. The shipping return I was made to pay on my own and cost $125. Big scam

I take a MatBox class and these gloves come in so handy! They work well and prevent my hands from getting hurt when punching the punching bag. They are very comfortable as well. They come in various colors too.

I wish there was a 7 star option for a review! Amazing wrist support, comfort, tight to the arm so it doesn’t (and isn’t compared to other gloves even at 14oz) feel bulky even at 16oz. I was going to only use them for just sparring but I hit the bags more than I spar and these are just too great to not use.

In the beginning they were really tight on the forearm to where it actually hurt so I had to loosen them a bit until they were broken in. Because of the amazing support on the wrist I feel like I can punch more accurately, more technique, harder, and safer.

There is an adjustment period where you have to get used to the double straps and putting the gloves on or taking them off. There are natural spots on the leather and that is from the cow itself so there is that aesthetic to the gloves as well.

I have not used the wrist support on these yet because the gloves themselves are just so snug and tight. I got them during the black Friday sale so it was definitely worth the money. The black Friday sale came not just with the gloves but a Hayabusa key chain, metal jump rope with a gel plastic around the rope or the ball on a string that you attach to your head, a wash bag for wraps, wraps or gloves, and the glove deodorizer.

I got more stuff and cheaper than if I were to get the gloves alone. And I got them in less than a week if I remember correctly. I think I am going to make this an annual tradition. New boxing gloves from Hayabusa around black Friday.

I bought the 14oz. gloves. These gloves are very well made and very stylish but they are very hard to get on, even harder with wraps on. They’re are uncomfortable. I thought I might of bought youth gloves by mistake, but I didn’t see anything in the description to indicate this.

I was told by the coach at the gym they are really good gloves, well worth the money and that once they are worn in they will be fine. I bought a pair of cheaper gloves (also 14oz) five years ago that are 60% leather.

These gloves felt really good the first time I tried them on. They fit well, like they were made for my hands and I got a lot out of them over the years. I was expecting a similar experience with the Hayabusa S4’s but just a bit disappointed.

I paid double for the Hayabusa than I paid for my old gloves. I hope the coach is right, and that I grow to love my new gloves as much as I love my old ones. Maybe it’s just a case of ‘love at first feel’ vs ‘a slow burn’.

First off, I love these gloves and are worth every penny. The first time I put them on, they were a little tight and was overwhelmed with the dual wrist strap. After getting through that hurdle, I hit the bag and it was wonderful.

I have long arms and my wrists have a tendency to bend as I punch, these gloves kept my wrists straight. Having proper wrist support my punches were stronger and more accurate. The Vylar synthetic vegan leather is in some ways more functional than leather and felt durable.

After that first use I knew I found the glove I never knew I needed in my life. I am no longer afraid to punch powerfully on the bag and on pads. I know my hands and wrist are well protected. To have that peace of mind is something I would pay the expensive price tag for.

I think the craftsmanship and quality of the gloves are excellent. However, my gloves do have a major defect! There is something wrong with the thumb area for the left glove. My left glove is unbearably painful to wear and train in.

Initially, I thought that if I just wore the gloves without my wraps, I could just break in my gloves, create space, and the discomfort would just go away. Unfortunately, I had to remove my gloves several times during my last training session because I just couldn’t take the pain.

These are 18 oz gloves, and I don’t have a problem fitting any other gloves 18 oz or less from other brands. This was a huge disappointment. Everything else about these gloves are perfect, but I also notice this is a reoccurring complaint.

Everlast has other high-end gloves I would love to purchase, but I purposely avoiding doing so because of complaints I read regarding the thumb areas ruining the comfort of the gloves. I didn’t see those same complaints for these gloves, but I guess I got a bad pair.

For the price, these gloves are awesome! I got this cheap pair for friends, when they come over. They’re not in the same class as my other gloves (the 1910 gloves), buy they fit (I use 14oz gloves and got the S/M size for these) well.

The quality is decent; the wrist strap feels a bit thin, and the cloth inside at the fingertips bunches on occasion, but otherwise, they’re awesome gloves! The website is very simple and easy to use, as well.

These gloves went straight up on the wall of my bar. Of course, I had to try them on first. My last fight was in 1974, the gloves, 8 oz. brown Everlast. It was amazing to feel these gloves on my hands again.
