We are so extremely disappointed with our growler weeks growler! We have the stainless uKeg 64 and it keeps losing pressure. My husband replaced the seal yesterday, and this morning the pressure it at zero again and the cartridge is empty.
We have had nothing but trouble with it and regret having spent this much money for something that just looks pretty, but doesn’t work at all. He also constantly has to tinker with the spout because it either will not dispense or it keeps pouring after we put it into closed position.
Customer service has also not been helpful at all. Don’t waste your money or good beer with this.
I purchased this to make my own Nitro Cold Brew Coffee. It definitely does an excellent job. Smooth, creamy, slightly sweet black coffee that’s like a stout with caffeine instead of alcohol. Perfect way to start the day!I have to give huge props to Alex in customer service.
I had issues with the first pot, which was promptly replaced and then the same thing happened with the replacement pot. I called Growlerwerks and was disappointed to get a voice-mail. I really thought it would get ignored for days, especially with COVID regulations.
Instead, my phone rang a short time later, while I was a couple blocks from my home. I explained to Alex what was going on and that I assumed it was me rather than the product. He stayed on the phone while I parked and ran upstairs so he could walk me through the process to get the cup of coffee I was looking for.
I mean honestly, you cannot get better customer service than that! It’s a great product from an awesome company.
I purchased one of these through another retailer, but only because I couldn’t get them here at the time. The growler is made of metal and seems to be well constructed. The cap is primarily plastic with some metal components.
At the time, I had a beer that I’d brewed which just wouldn’t carbonate. Adding extra sugar and champagne yeast didn’t change that. Keeping it in 80F conditions for a few weeks didn’t do it. It was a Belgian Tripel that tasted great but was just embarrassingly flat.
Then I learned about the uKeg and decided to get one. I opened some bottles of the flat beer and poured them into the uKeg. I inserted a CO2 cartridge and cranked up the pressure dial to the max. I put the filled uKeg into my refrigerator and left it overnight.
The next night, I had a nicely carbonated glass of homebrewed tripel. It was awesome to see that beer the way it should have been. Since then, when I’ve tasted a post-secondary-fermentation sample of a beer I’ve made and really liked it, I’ll fill up the uKeg first before bottling.
Instead of having to wait two weeks for the thing to carbonate, I just dispense it right out of the uKeg 24 hours later. The CO2 cartridges it uses are easy and cheap to get through online retailers.
Cleaning it is pretty easy, too. I usually just run hot water through it between batches, or a little PBW and hot water. It’s been a great addition to my equipment and has allowed me to try my beers a lot sooner than I could before.
It’s as nice looking as it appears in the pictures, which makes it a fun conversation piece when friends visit. If you have the choice between the 128-ounce and 64-ounce model, I think I’d recommend the 128-ounce (although that isn’t the model I have).
There’s nothing more disappointing than finding out you’ve brewed a great beer and only getting 3-4 glasses of it from the uKeg (then having to wait days or weeks for more). 🙂 This is a purchase I don’t regret in the slightest.
I’d like to be able to use the larger CO2 cartridges in it because they’d probably do a better job carbonating a Belgian style beer like I typically brew – and although the Growler Werks web site seems to be planning to offer a modification for that, it hasn’t been available when I’ve checked.
That’s maybe my biggest complaint here. and it’s not that terrible.
The good doctor is known for his disgusting but delicious candy concoctions. In this Zombie Lab kit, you’ll find all the mixes, molds and tools you need to make horrifying snacks. Line up your measuring cup, syringe, scoop and tweezers (included) and start experimenting on your zombie head (included).
Cook up bubbling brains, and enjoy a glass of zombie barf, straight from the zombie head’s mouth! If you still have an appetite, chow down on tender zombie flesh. To scare your friends and family, use the worm and spider mold to make creepy crawlies.
Heat milk in a small pot over medium-low heat until just warm. Add 1/4 cup of the sugar and swirl to dissolve. Add the yeast and transfer to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook. Let mixture sit a few minutes until you notice a few foamy bubbles start to form on top.
(This lets you know the yeast is alive and well. ) Whisk all-purpose flour, bread flour and remaining sugar together in a medium bowl. Add 8 eggs to the milk mixture, followed by half the flour mixture.
With the mixer on low, start to incorporate the dry ingredients into the egg-and-milk mixture. Add remaining half of flour and knead a minute or two, until no dry spots remain. Turn the speed up to medium and continue to knead until dough is starting to look smooth, 4 to 6 minutes.
Add salt and continue to knead until dough is firm, springy and elastic, another 4 to 6 minutes. Add butter, a few pieces at a time, fully incorporating each one before continuing, and scraping down the dough hook and bowl as needed.
(It will start to crawl up the hook as you mix. ) The first few additions take the longest, but have patience. It will take 30 to 40 minutes to work in all the butter. Once all butter is incorporated, continue kneading on medium speed for another 5 to 7 minutes, until the dough is smooth, shiny andelastic.
It should look well emulsified and feel a bit sticky. Lightly grease a large bowl and transfer dough to the bowl. Wrap tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate until the dough has doubled in size and firmed up, at least 12 and up to 24 hours.
(The slow rise will develop better flavor, and the chilling will make the dough easier to handle and shape. ) When you’re ready to shape and bake the bread, turn it out onto a lightly floured work surface.
Using a dough scraper or chefs knife, divide the dough into two equal portions. Working with one piece at a time, flatten the dough into an 8-by-5-inch rectangle, about 1 inch thick. Working from the longer edge at the top, tightly roll the dough, using your thumb and index finger to press the seam to the dough each time its rolled.
Pinch the dough at the last roll, so it is a well sealed, tightly compact log. Tuck the ends under, pinching to seal them as well. Transfer the dough to a greased (even better, nonstick and greased) 8 1/2-by-4 1/2-inch loaf pan, seam-side down.
Repeat with remaining piece of dough. Tightly wrap both loaf pans individually with plastic wrap and place them in a warm, draft-free place. Let the dough rise until its touching the plastic wrap and looks as if its trying t o break out, about 2 hours.
(Forvery warm kitchens, this might take closer to 1 hour and 45 minutes, for a cooler kitchen, it may be closer to 2 hours and 15 minutes. ) A good idea is to write the time on masking tape stuck to the plastic wrap, so you dont lose track of how long its been.
Place an oven rack in the middle of the oven and heat to 375 degrees. Beat remaining egg with 1 teaspoon water (this is your egg wash) and brush it over the tops of the dough. Place loaf pans in the oven and bake, rotating halfway through, until the tops and sides are deep golden brown and bread is baked through completely, about 50 to 65 minutes.
(If you have a probe thermometer, it should register 200 degrees when inserted into the center of the loaf. ) If the loaves seem to be browning too quickly, tent lightly with foil. A good way to tell if the bread is fully baked is to tap the top: It should feel firm and make a light, hollow sound.
(This indicates that the bread has lots of air, meaning it has risen properly and is fully baked and not dense and underbaked. ) Using an oven mitt or kitchen towels, remove brioche from the oven and immediately remove them from their pans (run a knife around the edges if you have trouble dislodging).
Place on a wire rack to cool completely. (If left to cool in the loaf pans, the bottoms and sides will steam and become soggy. ) Let cool completely before slicing. Brioche, if wrapped tightly in plastic, will keep at room temperature for 5 days, refrigerated for 1 week and frozen for up to 1 month.
When I was a child, I had a certain kind of play oven. And I remember that when the ingredients ran out, so did the fun. So understandably, I was worried about the product that would come with the Zombie lab, and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised.
There was MORE than enough to make multiple rounds of candy/drinks/snacks, and we haven’t run out yet. Opening the box, the first thing we had to do was put it together. We were able to sort through the parts, and my son was able to put most of it together itself, while I stepped in for a few trickier parts.
It only took about five minutes to do. We brought it into the kitchen, and began our mad-scientist creations. We first tried the bug/worm combination – everything goes together with just warm water (and it seems the warmer the better).
Mixing it up didn’t take long and my son was able to do the level scoops necessary to make the mixture. We used the enclosed syringe and were able to fill up the molds, and set them in the fridge. The molds didn’t leak, and neither did the syringe, happily.
10 minutes later they were ready, and I didn’t get to taste them, so you can figure how they tasted. The next up was the ‘zombie barf’. Mixed up in two parts, and it was fairly straight forward. The brain flask didn’t leak either, and when part B was added to Part A, well.
it was gross enough to satisfy my son. The small sip I did get was sweet and rather generically bland, but I’m also not the targeted demographic. We also made the zombie skin – another big hit – a double batch this time amused him for a while.
This one he handled fully by himself. My only suggestion would be to make the bags resealable. You do get a fair amount of ingredients and you WILL have to transfer them over to another plastic bag until the next round.
Otherwise, this is gross and spot on – it’s living in a place of pride on my kitchen counter top (for now).
We had some friends over and all the boys ages 3 to 6 were super excited to open it up and check it out. It only took a few minutes to set everything up and the zombie lab was ready for action. The boys helped me measure each concoction, so it was super easy to interact and let them help.
There was Zombie barf, Bubbling brains, bugs and skin. The different names created some intrigue, disgust, laughter and some screams (see picture). The least favorite was the barf, as intended. Not even one kid liked the flavor or texture of the barf and as it sat, it became chunky and slimy.
However, the crowd favorite seemed to be the bugs and skin as far as flavor. The bug molds that are included doesn’t take much of the mix, so we took the remaining mix and put it on the wax paper with the skin.
Everyone agreed it tasted like cherry jello and wanted to make more. The Bubbling brains experiment was fun to complete and brought mixed reviews on the flavor. They did like that they bubbled and were foamy.
Overall we had a lot of fun with the ewww’s and ahhh’s. The packages of mix do not reseal and I think that would help for future use. This made a minimal mess so clean up was quick and easy. With adult supervision ages 3+ could enjoy this activity as a family.

The innovative modular platform also allows the handle to detach, providing component interchangability and compact storage.
Hope this handle last longer than the first one. Bought my first Ego at the end of fishing season. May have used it twice. Went to use a year later pushed button to open and pulled handle apart. This new is put together the same with a small rivet.
I sure time will tell. Here we are at the end of the season again. Will have to wait till spring to use again. Bought because it slides together for storage. Like that feature.
I got the S2 Slider a couple years ago. The handle came apart at one joint and I sent in a comment about it. The company responded by sending me a brand new replacement net. Customer service is as important if not more so than the product for me.
Bought the G2 handle off the website to replace my first G2 handle which had been abused for several years! Any piece of equipment that lasts more than a year or two is money well spent when you’re fishing 150+ days a year in all weather conditions! Will buy again in another 5 or 6 years if needed! My head is still the original despite seeing all kinds of weather!.

OMGosh!! If you’re big into creepy Zombie stuff & are really, really into Halloween, (as my adult daughter is) this guy’s for YOU!! His eyes are totally freaky. took one look & put him back in the box!! Was afraid if I looked too long I’d have nightmares! Funny? You say? Ya have to see it to believe it! The picture of it is creepy enough but truly doesn’t do it justice! Bought a pair of the Zombie Kitties (along with the super creepy Zombie baby) to give to my daughter for her b’day next month (she decorates as much, if not more so, for Halloween as Christmas!).
She may have to wait ten months to show them off but will enjoy the anticipation even more so! I KNOW she’s gonna LOVE it & I can hardly wait to see the expression on her face when she opens it!! Besides it’s creepiness, it seems to be very well made & is sure to be enjoyed for many years to come! Incidentally & key as well, ordered these items online one afternoon, got them shipped to my home, for FREE, & they arrived the very NEXT day!! Super service!!.
I am an avid Halloween holiday fan and usually buy new decorations every year to add to my collection. I saw these online and immediately wanted them. I checked at a few WalMart stores to see what they were like in person but they didn’t carry them.
I ordered them online and shipped them site to store. When I got them they looked just like they do in the picture but I was expecting the plastic to be a bit more sturdy for the price they are. The head moves but comes off easily and they are very lightweight.
I love my new cat zombies but would recommend the price be lowered by about $6. Then they would be 5 stars.
Preston Innovations Des Shipp F1 Maggot Pole Rig Constructed from the very finest components and based on rigs tied by our own consultants, the Des Shipp Slim’s pole float rigs are perfect for use on all commercial fisheries.

Stotz are used on all of the rigs in a shotting pattern to suit the intended style of fishing. The F1 Maggot float has a visible 1. 5mm Hollow Bristle with a carbon stem, this allows you to fish on the drop with the stotz positioned to be effectively fishing through the last 18 inches of water.
The size 16 hook is ideal for maggots, casters, worms and all smaller baits.
I don’t write reviews normally. This thing is a beast. I have tested everything under the sun. The overdrive channel on this is definitely rectifier. If you’re looking for something that sounds like a rectifier, is cheap, portable, has headphone out, and a way to listen to auxiliary music, the Bantamp series is exactly what you’re looking for.
My cons are the lack of individual band EQ and when it’s dirty and turned up, it’s a little noisy. A good noise gate fixes this. But I use this with a wah pedal only and the foot switch. I run it through a 412 and the volume knob is about the 11 o’clock position, and it’s significantly loud enough to handle a full metal band.
Bought one recently to pair with my Telecaster. Really good 2-channel amp for the money as long as you have a decent cab to pair it with. It’s loud for its size, fairly versatile and extremeply portable.
The Meteor is supposed to be modeled after the Orange sound, and while it doesn’t quite get there, it does have tons of that British crunch on the OD channel and it sounds pretty convincing for what it is.
The clean channel is quite passable and would make a great pedal platform considering these amps have an FX loop. The tone control on the Meteor is a bit too subtle for my taste, but again, the FX loop allows for tone shaping through other means.
The Bluetooth feature is all but worthless and I wonder why the extra electronics and room wasn’t used for something more useful like a footswitch input for channel switching, or built-in reverb/delay.
Either of those options would have been infinitely better than Bluetooth connectivity. The headphone out supposedly has cab simulation; it’s not the worst I’ve heard but it isn’t all that great either.
Overall, this is definitely a great amp that is easily worth the money if you’re looking for a nice practice or studio amp for British crunch and classic rock sounds.
Big punch in a little package. Nice cleans and searing gain. Bluetooth works great. I use it with my 4×12 cabinet and if you didn’t see the little mite sitting on top you would never believe it. Accepts the signal from my processor very well.
Glad I finally took the plunge and tried it. I now have two. Also got the Meteor. Subtle tonal differences, both seem a necessity. Haven’t used the FX loop yet but see no reason it wouldn’t work as well.
Watch out for the impending zombie apocalypse and these zombie hand stakes. These grotesque stakes feature green arms with bones and tendons peeking through the gashes. Use the included stake to plant this sign in your yard or use it indoors for your zombie themed party.
Features Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Pack of 2 Specifications Material: Plastic Dimension: 13 H x 3 W x 3 L. Weight: 0. 45 lbs.
Love, love, love these flamingos. They are big, bright pink, and well made. They also stay in the ground a lot better than some other ones I have purchased. Try them, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
These hands are huge! and for the price they are fairly decent. The only reason why I won’t give 5/5 of rating is because the stakes that hold up the hands are very cheaply made. I put slight pressure on them to stick them further into the dirt and one of them has already cracked, not sure how long the stakes will last this year.
Natural relief for headache symptoms | Clinically tested | Made by a chiropractor A natural way to help seek relief from tension headaches, this chiropractor-made device works to stimulate nerve receptors in the ear.
I personally really like this product and will continue to use it, but I feel that it is important to add that it is not a perfect product and does not completely get rid of headaches for me. I will explain this more in depth below.
I was excited to try this product because I suffer from headaches quite frequently (almost daily). I do not often get migraines, so I haven’t able to test this product out during one of those. I used this each time my regular tension headaches got strong enough to really bother me.
Now this is typically when I would reach for pain medicine, but because of some recent health problems I have been dealing with, I am unable to take pain medications. So I was also excited to try this product as a alternative to medication.
The paper instructions were a little confusing, so like others have commented here, I did end up having to watch the instructional video on this site to figure out how to use it correctly. It was very helpful and is worth watching if you are feeling stuck.
When using the product correctly, I did feel a noticeable difference with the decrease of pressure in my head after using it. This also happened consistently with each use and headache which I was very surprised by.
I will say though that it never took away my headaches completely which was a little disappointing. It took the edge off of the pain and pressure though which made it much more bearable until the headache completely passed.
So although it did not completely take away my headache, the relief from it is definitely enough for me to continue to use it. There were also a few times that I had to repeat the process two or three times before it worked for me, but it did eventually help after trying again a few times.
I am leaving 2 stars off of this review because it doesn’t completely get rid of my headaches and sometimes it takes multiple tries to work. So although it is not a perfect solution, I feel like it is still a really helpful tool and one that I will continue to use in my own life.
If you are looking for something more natural to try to ease the pain of your tension headaches then I definitely recommend trying this! I was given this head tension reliever to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
I was given this head tension reliever to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I opened the box and saw a strange little suction device supposedly able to help me with my awful headaches and migraines.
I read the instructions multiple times but was still sort of confused so I headed to the website. They had a great instruction video and after watching that I felt much more confident sticking this thing into my ear.
There are two methods they offer- I found the first to be a little easier. I was only given a short time to try this product before reviewing, but I felt that it absolutely helped the headaches I had during that timeframe.
I get monthly cyclical migraines due to endometriosis, and I am really looking forward to trying this device during that time in the next week or so. I avoid medications whenever possible, so the idea of a drug-free headache reliever is like a dream come true for me.
I love how portable the device is. Overall, I think it’s taken some time to get the hang of using this device, but the times when I get it just right I feel a huge difference. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone suffering from tension headaches.
Still testing it out. I get frequent migraines, and I THINK this is helping keep them at bay. I get pretty obvious migraine auras before the migraine pain sets in. The second I feel an aura coming on (tingling in my limbs/fingers/etc, or extreme fatigue, or visual disturbance, or pulsing vain in my temples, etc), I use the Zok repeatedly.
I have also been trying a new supplement to help so I am not sure I can pinpoint whether it is solely from the supplement or the Zok. Or both! I’ll update my review if and when I can say for sure. Side note, definitely watch the video on how to use the Zok properly.
At first I was using it wrong, until I watched and figured out it needs to get a seal and that the bulb will stay squeezed on its own when doing method 1 and the bulb will not squeeze fully with method 2.
The instructions on the box aren’t quite clear enough.

this is one of my favorite games of all time. i’ve always thought that in order for a sequel to be good it has to improve on a lot of aspects of its predecessor. but this game improves EVERY SINGLE ASPECT.
it’s the perfect sequel. collecting stickers and characters are fun, multiplayer is fun, and the story is fun. everything is just fun. it’s pretty cheap right now and if u would like a blast back to ur childhood it doesn’t get better than this.
So I didn’t play Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 1, but I did play the phone game on iOS and Android so when I heard that there is a Plants Vs Zombies 2 game coming out for Xbox One, I was pretty suspicious at first.
However, I got a chance to play the beta and it definitely impressed me. Overview of the game: This game is actually a fresh take on a shooter game with both multiplayer and a single player mode. Definitely a great improvement compared to the mobile game that they released.
This is a full fledged shooter comparable to other hardcore shooter games such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, Halo, etc. except that it is kid-friendly and instead of different guns and loadouts, you have different plants and zombies with different abilities and attacks.
I really like the innovative spin that they put on a typical shooter with their different plants and zombies with different types of attacks and abilities. It is definitely loads of fun with lots of replay value.
I mainly played the multiplayer (because that is mainly what I was interested in) and even a veteran shooter gamer like me who played almost all shooters made such as COD, Battlefield, Halo, Gears of War, Resistance, etc.
enjoyed thoroughly. Best part about this is that this is kid-friendly for all of those protective parents who dont want their kids to play violent video games. However, I will have to say that this game should be priced like a typical arcade game (even though it is a fully polished game) because it would get a bigger fan base.
So the price may be pretty steep, but it is definitely an enjoyable game and gives you a fresh take on typical multiplayer shooters.
I bought this game based off of game play footage from the beta and the intro video. I am actually really pleasantly surprised with how much enjoyment I’ve got out of playing this game. There are a lot of game mode types in which to enjoy different play styles.
Unlocking characters is fun though at times a little tedious – I wish they had more variety of packs for non-rare to super rare characters or included some consumables in the highest priced pack with the character pieces.
The game modes are as follows: Garden ops/zombie ops – you can play both factions coop with 4 players Story quests – both factions Infinity mode – end fun mode with large animal robots and gnomes. PVP – with many different game modes Endless waves at the flag of power.
– this mode would be more fun if there was higher multipliers and more coins for this game type so that you could level your characters with friends a little easier while not sinking way too many hours into the game.
People said during the beta the multipliers remained from normal quests which I wish were still the case or at least 1x exp and normal money. So far I have been getting more enjoyment out of the playability of this game than FarCry Primal.
Farcry is a bit more repetitive and doesn’t have split screen for my wife and I to enjoy together. The split screen is a little too limited though. Why can’t we play online with other people or do quests together? Overall I would give it 5 stars because it is a great fun game with lots of options for fun game types with friends of all ages.
Providing the same outstanding light line performance as the Classic version, the Charlie Brewer’s Spider Pro Head utilizes a slightly smaller hook to accommodate more finesse-driven soft plastics. Molded with a bullet-shaped head, the Charlie Brewer’s Spider Pro Head features a 2/0 offset hook, which makes it easy to Texas-rig soft plastics for an incredibly weedless presentation.
Proven effective for years, the Charlie Brewer’s Spider Pro Head is the perfect tool for tempting light-feeding fish into biting.
I just want to set the record straight for anyone scared off by Jig4Bass’s negative review. I personally fish with these and love them for their intended use. The original slider heads were not designed to be fished on “normal” bass tackle.
Lots of people all over the web, make strongly worded arguments against the light wire slider hooks because they “straighten out on big fish. ” This is an affront to Charlie’s legacy. These heads were/are designed to be fished on 4 and 6 lb.
monofilament (which stretches) on L action rods, which cushion the light line and light wire hook. The wire is thin to allow hooksets through plastic with those light monofilament lines. Of course these hooks straighten out on a 6’6″ M action rod with 8 or 10 lb.
test and a 5 lber on the line. The rod, line, knot, hook is a chain. The lightest link will break first. If you were fishing for kingfish with 60 lb. braid, a 3X circle hook, and a M action bass rod, the rod would break because it is not designed to do that.
It is the weakest link. The redesigned heavy hook sliders were made to accomodate people who were fishing slider techniques on heavier tackle, but you can see MANY photos on the web of Brewer or Brewer Jr.
or Ray Scott with fish way over 5 lbs. caught on the original slider heads, fished properly with L action rods and light line. In fact, Scott held the 4lb. line class record for bass at one time, caught on one of these heads and it weighed over 7 pounds.
You’re going to lose some fish to line breakage even with proper light slider tackle, but in that case, the line is the weak link, not the hook (or the angler is, you choose), and that’s how its designed to be.
As Brewer said in his video and book– “It’s sporting tackle, not horsing tackle. ” I personally enjoy the fun of very light tackle bass fishing, and have caught some big fish doing it. I’ve also lost some big fish, but that’s part of what makes it fun– its a challenge.
P. S. Also, the BPS Crappie Maxx rod in 6’6″ L makes a great rod for this technique.
Started using these about 2 weeks ago. Have had most fish fall off while lifting into boat, Lost 4 fish in a row and I cut the hook off and replaced with what I always used. Lost no more fish. Unfortunately I bought 4 packs of these and will never use them again.
I have used these slider heads for bass fishing and with light line and have done very well with these. I normally use 4 inch soft bait’s , but recently started to use 6 inch baits on these heads and have just as well.
I’ve never had my hook straighten out as of yet knock on wood because have caught quite a few 3 1/2 to 5lb on these heads. You just have to treat these head as you would with light line and thin hooks, I use these on spinning tackle most of the time and like I said I really love these slider heads due to the way you use them(nice&slow).
I know a lot of people say you can’t bass fish with these slider heads but guess what you can and it’s fun. Try’em out for your self. Also use nanfil line it’s great.
TranslateShow in original languagebienvenido ventosas en mi nuevo acuario.
It doesn’t go back and forth anymore. His hard-wearing skin of strong fabric is robust and coated. Thanks to the lotus effect, everything liquid rolls off him. Luckily he has accumulated enough food reserves so that he remains cuddly and dimensionally stable even in his predicament.
