The design, engineering and build quality are absolutely excellent. It is not a 5 minute job to assemble and install however the step by step instructions are very good and clear and quite simple. It was a pleasure working with a product that fits together so accurately and the quality is very evident.

I am confident that this Bimini will last for many years. The fit is so precise that it looks like a custom made item. It stores away very neatly in a zipper compartment. Because of the modest price I was worried about the quality but the product exceeds even my wildest expectations! I give credit where credit is due.

My only regret is that the dark green was out of stock!.

Just received and installed my bimibi top- wow. Shipping estimated longer than it actually took- very happy about that. Came nicely packaged – no scratches, snags, or any damage whatsoever- each bow pole was in its own plastic cover.

The instructions are almost unnecessary as the components are made well and match up effortlessly- but the instructions are very clear and nicely written. The premium canvas is much nicer than the standard type material- the small upgrade fee is almost silly not to choose.

There are no mounting screws provided- which makes sense as this can be installed on a wide variety of boats. You will need at least 12 screws. The actual top has the cover sewn into it with a very heavy duty zipper- no more loosing your bimibi cover! The mounting bracketry that the poles connect to are actually a tough nylon type material- really thought they would be aluminum – but they are plenty strong.

The front straps to cinch down the top are even of a more quality than come with most! If you are looking for an affordable replacement top- I highly recommend this one. You can get lesser priced units, but wont have the small touches that put this kit over the top!.

For the price, really nice product. easy to install and use. I put it on my 2021 Tracker Super Guide V16. I did not use the mounts that came with the top but used the Versa Track mounts on the boat so I did not drill any holes in the boat to mount.

The only thing I changed is I removed the screws on the back bar and installed a pin to make it is easier to take up and down. Over all very happy with this product and the price was on point.

I ordered this top and it arrived very quickly. It’s design is wonderful compared to my older style tops, the poles snap together , which will allow for easy top replacement should I tear it, the poles are 1 in instead of 7/8, stronger!.

The boot is easy to put on. This is a super value ! I installed it on my 15 ft jon boat because the South Carolina sun get’s too hot! I may add some photo’s later. If you know how a top should be installed on a boat you will be pleased with this for the price!.

Well built by people who obviously know what they’re doing. Perfect fit and function down to the last detail. Makes being out on the lake on a hot sunny day much more enjoyable. Easy to install, and a snap to put up and fold down.

Quality of the materials used mean it was built to last many years. Trailers well using boot (included) while in the folded position. I’ll be buying another one for my newest boat.

I was very impressed with the fit and finish. All the hardware seems of good quality. Assembly was very easy and from the time the ups man delivered the box, the Bimini was installed in less than an hour.

It feels sturdy when installed. I would recommend this one if youre in the market for a Bimini top.

Perfect fit, much better quality than I expected. Assembly was easy abet not the clearest instructions but non the less I assembled and installed it by myself. My only problem was the orientation of the top.

Actually I put it on backwards (instructions vague on this point). I didn’t realize this error until after I installed. Surprisingly, it was very easy to remove, disassemble and correctly re-assemble, again by myself.

BTW, I am 71 so I have learned some tricks over the years. All said, initial assembly 30 minutes, install 30 mins (pre-measured and marked. removal 5 minutes, correct orientation 15 minutes and re-install 5 minutes, again by myself.

very satisfied and would definitely by again or recommend to a friend, which I already have. I wanted my top for protection against weather so it may look a bit oversized but that is what I wanted.

Havent gone out on the water yet but the tubes are made of such soft material that they bow and bend when you tighten them with the straps. They should not do this and if there is not enough tension the bimini will destroy itself out on the water.

We will see what happens.

Put it all together in the living room so I could check it all over. Everything is there and goes together quickly and easily. Looks good and appears to be of good quality. Come March I will be installing this on my pontoon boat.

I’ve always been impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of the Taylor-Made products I have bought over the years. The Taylor-Made SunShade is no different. I had bought one of these for my previous boat and loved it, but it went with the boat when it sold.

The one I just purchased for my current boat is even better with Taylor-Made improvements. It is sturdy yet lightweight, and easily put up by one person. An improvement my be to sew in clips (three) at least on one side to allow for an additional shade portion to hang down and secured at cockpit level to block the suns rays during late afternoon.

But otherwise, it is another great product from Taylor-Made, and priced inexpensively.

Our Taylor Made sunshade is what I’ve been looking for and can’t wait to use it. Being mid-winter my wife would probably just love this in our living room. 🙁 O well, be out on the water soon with this quality product.

Great price, looks great. It was a gift for my husband and it arrived here quickly. Now we just need for the warm weather to arrive to install it, unfortunately it’s still winter here in the Midwest.

So that’s why I only gave it four stars.

I received the fabric for the Hot Shot bimini top. I thought I was getting the entire package when I read the description. After I received the package and it was in small plastic shipping envelope I went back to my order description and was only then the description said fabric only.

I tried to order the frame only and Wholesale Marine doesn’t give you the option to order the frame without the fabric. I was going to return the item and discovered the item was non-returnable. I was able to find a different marine dealer who can get the frame without the fabric to match the dimensions of the fabric purchased from Wholesale Marine.

What I don’t like about this is the frame is made by the same company that makes the fabric. My experience with trying to buy tops for boats has not been very good. You can’t find replacement fabric for one you have or when you need everything for a boat that doesn’t have a top you are misled by inadequate or unclear information.

This worked well to replace an old Westland of the same size. Ignore the top height measurement and just get the same size length and width. Watch a YouTube video on how to replace the top. Need to unscrew parts of the frame on one side to get top to slide off and onto frame tubes.

Take pictures before disassembly. The center straps have to be fed into cover pockets so you will need a stiff wire to feed in then pull the straps through. Takes about 30 minutes from start to finish.

I bought this Bimini Top as a replacement for my 11-year old original equipment. It was not even on for a year before the seams started separating, and now at just less than 2-years the entire top has completely come apart at the seams.

I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality Bimini Top.

The Pro Bimini & Rocket Launcher is an amazingly excellent product overall. All of the materials used are of high and durable quality and are very aesthetically pleasing. I will definitely not hesitate to purchase another one for my next project boat as it is also very easy to assemble.

I was very surprised after putting it together then installing on my boat how awesome this top is. You can normally spend 600-800 dollars on a top. Also having the rear poles is great it allows the top to stay tilted back when its in its closed position.

The top has a built in boot that zippers closed and gives it an awesome look. I would certainly recommend this.

I checked out many different suppliers to source my bimini. In the end I chose the 79″-84″ width bimini for my boat. Easy to install, good quality build. Have used it several times this season and my family loves it, as we don’t get fried in the sun.

To me a price this low suggested poor quality, but I went for it anyway. My assumptions turned out to be unfounded. The bimini is well constructed and packaged well. The only quality quibble I have is with the mounting hardware, which seems a bit cheap (-1 star).

The instructions were a little hard to follow as there did not appear to be any numbers on the poles, but the simple design got us through. Recommended if you are in the market for a shade solution at a great price.

Recieved My 54 to 60 wide komo canopy yesterday. Used drill to place mounts where I wanted them. Installed less than a hour. Very sturdy and I will be very happy in the shade on Santee Cooper Lake this year.

I got the teal color is the only difference between this ad and the one pictured. In the ad it says, The fittings and hardware are all heavy duty nylon and stainless steel (mounting screws hooks, and eye straps).

The top is very strong. ” This is not true. The hardware is extremely weak and flimsy as is the total structure of the top. The nylon connectors provide little support nor stability and allow the top to warp out of shape and deform continually in minor winds.

The connectors not only flex and give they fit loose and provide a lot of slop back and forth. The cover has 4 places to zip over the support poles but doesn’t show in the ad the very small pouch for the middle two only about a foot of the 8 foot length of the poles.

The cover material is about half as thick or sturdy as my old top which is 16 years old. If I had known this I would have never bought the top. There is an statement in the instructions that says “don’t use at more than 20 mph.

” Again if I had known this before I would have never bought the top. So if youre going 10 mph, and the wind is blowing at 10 mph you can’t use the top. Again if I had known this I would have never invested $400+.

If I can’t make modifications to strengthening this top (using the hardware from my old top) I’ll throw this one away and look elsewhere for a sturdy replacement. Rating 2 out of 5. The only reason I don’t give it a 1 is it was shipping fast and it is a top.

Product is okay for the price, but note that while there is a hole in the bimini and the boot for an anchor light, there is no way to run wire inconspicuously to a light. I ordered a portable anchor light and will figure out how to mount it for use when I need it.

The top was easy to put together, install, and set up. Works and fits great. Looks great on my pontoon. Awesome product at a great price. Highly recommend it.

It’s a perfect match for repairing our Bimini supports. Was worried I would not find one.

Ordered Thursday night, it was delivered Saturday! Easy to install and Wal-Mart was the only place I could find the right width and length in my color. Would have given it six stars of O could.

Its a very good, designed in the USA, bimini with the snap together hoops that can easily be unsnapped, rear support poles instead of rear straps, and the not too tight or loose zippered cover for the retracted top.

The rear support pole allows you to keep the top off the windshield and off the back of the boat always. The main pole has a bend that allows all three bows to fit together well when the top is retracted.

That is unusual. The only thing to watch out for is the little Allen wrench set screws which you must loosen before adjusting the joint positions. If you dont loosen them youll get gouges in the aluminum.

The big negative is that it is made in CHINA.

I had reasonable expectations, but for the price wasn’t really expecting great. But this absolutely exceeded my expectations in every way. And even if this was mediocre, I was also a little nervous about putting this on my kinda nice 24′ cruiser.

Sturdy poles, thick canvas, mounting was confusing, as a newcomer to bimini installation found that the rear support poles are just that. Rear support poles! Figuring how can I get this to fold onto the aft deck, so it doesn’t sit in the air on the rear supports, just unscrew from the deck and fold down no problem.

Looks much more expensive than it was, will buy again if needed and highly recommend.

We seem to have got 1 wrong type of leg. We made adjustments but we had 1 long leg too many and were missing one shorter leg. We could adjust ours but whoever got the other mixed up set would have more trouble adjusting.

Bought this top recently for my 1999 Bass Tracker Pro Team 185 SE. It shipped relatively quickly to me, fit like a glove and does a fantastic job of keeping the sun off my wife and daughter who are both fair skinned.

The assembly was a little tricky, but after I understood which way was up, it was no problem. All the assembly parts were there, no screws left out, I hate that. The quality of the fabric and the stitching is good, the materials are top notch for the money.

If you are thinking about purchasing this top, think no more and go on and do it. You won’t be dissapointed.

This is a nice addition to my boat, it keeps the sun from beating us up. I ran around the lake with the top up at about 25 miles an hour with no issues. Good quality, easy to install I installed mine myself in less than an hour.

Natural color is white very white, my boat is an off white so I though natural would be close, its white but that was my mistake. One thing they dont explain in the description is the 5 year warrenty is pro-rated where in the 5th year it only covers 20% off the purchace of a new top.
