20 Best Bed Frame For Tempurpedic Mattress (2022 Updated)

Never had a mechanical base on a bed before. Watching TV in bed is a whole different experience. I didn’t think I’d use the leg lift, but use it all the time. Only reason for the 4 star rating is be mindful of small pets getting under the frame.

We have a cat that decided to back there when the head was up. My husband didn’t realize he was down there. Nothing happened to him as I saw him and stopped the head from lowering. Definitely have to pay attention to the location of the fur babies before lowering the frame.

I ordered the Tempur-Pedic Pro-Breeze king-size mattress, stand-ardfoundation and top-of-the line bed frame directly through their website. The frame was shipped to us separately by their third-party manufacturer.

This frame was worth every every dollar spent! It was so easy to assemble; no tools were neces-sary. It’s extremely quiet and was designed to fit perfectly with our king size mattress and foun-dation.

I had been shopping online for a frame to fit my Tempurpedic so that I could use a vintage-y wood headboard I’d been keeping for years. I thought I was going to have to forego the box springs in order to get what I wanted.

So glad I realized this product was available before I bought something else made for no box spring that probably wouldn’t have fit my mattress right anyway. This is much nicer than the old school metal frames you used to have.

Better wheels and corners. Even glides well over carpet, despite the heavy weight of my super-thick, king-sized Tempurpedic mattress and box springs. I love it and I love finally getting rid of my old headboard/footboard deal.

Excellent price. Easy to assemble. Arrived in good time and with simple packaging. Loving my bed now!.

I purchased this frame to go with my Tempur-Pedic mattress and new headboard. This is a solid, well built frame. Assembly took just a few minutes. I have had no issues with the frame whatsoever. I would purchase this frame again.

Just completed the install today and have some notes to share. For the bed itself works fine, no problem. We have a one-piece king mattress and the (split) dual foundations. We bought this for two reasons – anti-snore and for TV watching comfort.

– Slow delivery – we ordered 12/2 and it was delivered 12/22, almost 3 weeks! Delivery experience left a lot to be improved!- Delivery service will only bring it in the door – we were on our own to install it – no options here.

– The instructions are difficult and confusing, not well illustrated – written as if experienced installers were doing the work (wish we had that option. )- If you have to install here’s a few tips. — It took us three hours to complete.

— Have two strong individuals to carry and install. — Open and discard the shipping boxes. Do NOT try to move the shipped cartons – too heavy!– You will have a lot of heavy duty cardboard to dispose of from the shipping boxes.

— There are three boxes attached inside each frame. Remove the attached boxes and carry the frames by themselves. — One of the attached boxes contains the legs, the other steel frame pieces and bolts, the third contains the wireless remote.

— Plug in the wireless remotes first. — Follow the instructions in the folded card, not the user manual (which is confusing. )– Install the supplied 9v batteries while the frame is upside down, before you turn it over.

– I measured wrong but found after positioning them that our bed frame (headboard, footer and side-rails) fits around the two foundations with room to spare. We did have to remove all of the foundation framing (which was not clear in the instructions.

) Regrettably we only removed the header and footer pieces and I later had to remove the sides pieces for our bed frame to fit (you do NOT want to do that after the bed is put together as I did!)- When we sync’d the two foundations only one remote was functional.

– The foot raise/lower does not work in the app – it glitches the app. We are finding the app causes more problems and will be using the remote. – There’s a warning in the instructions not to run the motors more than 2 minutes.

The implication that the motors can be burned out. – Vibrate mode is loud and disruptive. We would have opted not to buy this and likely will not use it. I am in the room underneath and you can hear and feel the rumble of it.

Lying in the bed the vibrate mode is very noisy. – Under-bed lighting is nice. – We are using our existing mattress, which I checked ahead and as best I could determine was and is compatible. However when no one is in the bed and we raise the header and footer the middle of the mattress raises.

– Unlike the picture the mattress rails are only available on the footer of the bed, not the header. This is deceptive!- The fabric of the folding top layer wraps completely around the sides. There is no border like the picture.

– The instructions state the remotes are Qi wireless charge-able – we have not tested this yet. They otherwise are charged from a single charger cable and there was no USB option. – The 9v battery backup is in the control compartment on one side of the under-frame.

Looking at the bed from the footer the compartment for the right frame will be accessible from underneath (on your back) while the left frame will require you to slide underneath the bed frame quite a bit.

If you have carpeting or a large body this may be difficult!I will have further updates as we get more experienced using the product.

The Reverie 5D so far surpasses our expectations. Not only is it built very well, the features are perfect for our needs. We chose the king split (two twin XL bases, with two twin XL mattresses ) so my husband and I can control independently.

We are certainly glad we did because although we knew our comfort needs were different, we had no clue just how different they really were until we got the bed! This bed can be adjusted to almost any combination of positions imaginable.

The comfort level is outstanding, and the massage feature is amazing! It’s everything and more that we were looking for in an adjustable bed at an affordable price. We are so happy with this transaction, we are now contemplating buying another from Deal Beds for the guest room.

The Reverie 9T bed is actually a good product and after 18 months of owning one, I decided to submit a review. The 9T queen works great and is especially good for back sleepers. I usually set the head up at 15 to sleep and use the Zero Gravity setting for watching TV.

If you are a side sleeper, the adjustable sections may cause you to wake up with pain as your back and spine alignment isn’t good. My 9T failed the second night – bad motor for the top section. Reverie mailed me the parts and a local service firm contracted by Reverie sent someone who had never worked on a Reverie product, so I had to help and I installed the replacement DC motor.

It was an easy repair and the bed has worked well since the initial problem. The 9T remote charges inductively (wirelessly) on a pad or through a charging cable. I use the cable as the pad causes the remote to get hot.

The remote has odd issues, where sometimes it loses its link with the bed, the remote display won’t shut off and keeps repeating its boot sequence. By changing a bed position, the remote usually resets.

I tried to find a software update on Reverie’s website but other than for product info, there is absolutely no usable support. The remote battery dies in a day after charging. Emails to Reverie about the problem remain unanswered.

Overall the 9T is a great bed, but Reverie customer service is not very good, and the website is even less useful. Buy a good flexible mattress with the 9T base. I bought a Serra pillow top queen mattress and it’s great too.

I had a memory foam mattress but it was hard and just not as comfortable. Adding a good heated mattress pad really makes the bed a place you won’t want to leave in cold weather.

This was purchased for our 12 year old daughter. She put it together mostly by herself (I had to come help at the end). It is super easy to assemble. basically unfolds from the box in 2 pieces, then you just connect the stability bars.

Took 10 minutes. I must note that it probably isn’t the best fit for adults and/or larger people. it’s sits pretty low and her foam mattress moves around a bit. Check weights/dimensions to ensure it will work for you.

Great for kids/teens/college students, etc. though (in my opinion).

While this was a great purchase at first it quickly turned into an albatross around my neck. This turned out to be a living nightmare. There is a piece of metal that runs parallel along the bed frame that blocks one of the lower holes, therefore blocking you from attaching your headboard properly.

I had to go to my local hardware store and buy additional screws and drill more holes into the headboard and drill beneath the frame pushing the bolts into another hole, where the bolts barely even fit.

When I finally move from my apartment and the bed has to be disassembled I will need to use bolt cutters to remove the bolts and the entire outfit will need to be thrown into the trash. I DO NOT recommend this bed frame as I suspect this bed frame will not fit any headboard you buy.

At least not without serious modifications to the headboard. When I called Walmart’s customer service about it, the woman on the phone had the audacity to blame it on me for not knowing the piece of metal blocking one of the holes was my fault, before shaming me repeatedly, stating it was my fault for spending money to make the headboard fit, before hanging up on me.

I had to call back and speak to another agent who stated, “She shouldn’t have spoken to you like that. ” Again, AVOID this bed frame at all costs! Unless you have an electric or or some type of metal cutter to cut the metal strips away from the holes to make your chosen headboard fit.

The condition the item came in made me think it was used. This was during COVID when Target wasnt doing returns. My husband threw out the box. Dont waste your money. One side bowed. Mattress is falling out.

Had to buy a new one. I at first thought i did something wrong so i took it apart and reconnected it but no. Based other reviews you might get one that works or one that doesnt save your time and buy a different frame.

This low profile adjustable frame works just fine. It took a few minutes to figure out how to put it together. The printed directions are a bit confusing. Anyway, once I got the hang of it, it went together easily.

I recommend this if you are looking to lower the profile of your bed.

I have hemi cerebral palsy for reference. I had just gotten it and it left a powder on my hand, floor and walls immediately. I dropped it and it left a hole in the wall. Even with “easy” instructions it left me more frustrated than worth keeping or finishing putting together.

These are easy to assemble. Someone reviewed that they squeak. But, I can’t see how that would be. If you tighten the hex-bolts properly, this assembles perfectly. The only drawback to these are if you try to move them much.

They kinda fold in the middle, so you need to be careful when moving. But, these are sturdy, and pretty dog-gone inexpensive. You can barely get those typical, low profile, pot-metal frames for much less than this.

This is a GOOD value for the money. Also, I liked the height. This eliminates the need for a box spring, if you get a 12-15″ mattress for it.

Love love love! This is a great product, very sturdy! My significant other and I sleep together and he is an extreme plopper. With all his plopping broke the wood underneath our last bed frame. This one doesn’t move an inch when he decides to plop.

The assembly process was very fast, took no more than an hour and provided great tools to make the process faster. Completely worth the money!.

This mattress foundation provides a lot of room for underbed storage. I did order the $25 Zinus headboard bracket from Amazon because my headboard did not line up with the pre-drilled holes on this foundation.

The bracket has multiple openings to custom fit various headboards. The foundation is very sturdy and easy to disassemble if it needs to be moved. Great purchase. Highly recommend.

When our box spring broke I was afraid we would have to spend $200-$300 to get another. Instead we found this nifty little bed frame, and it was $100, a great deal with free shipping. It arrived, a few wing nuts later and we were good to go.

It took longer to disassemble and remove the old bed frame and box spring than it did to set this up. I’m about 240 pounds and with my wife, the dog, and three cats all on the bed it holds us all with no issue.

It doesn’t squeak either, which is a first! We couldn’t handily attached the headboard, but we just pushed it up against it and it is up against the wall, so it looks fine. Overall, great deal and well worth it.

We won’t be buying expensive box springs again!.

This base gave my bed the extra support it needed. My back was hurting to bad because of improper foundation. I have a platform bed. It fit inside of the platform but it did raise the bed a bit higher.

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it said zero assembly. It is not zero assembly and DOES have a few steps and tools/screws you have to use to put it together. My mattress does move around on it like stated in the other reviews.

Not sure how to solve this issue. It came with a nice note from the company and additional note cards that you can send to friends (something unique).

We purchased this mattress base to go with our new Tempur-Pedic mattress and our custom upholstered bed we ordered. My husband and I are getting older and somehow getting more aches and pains; imagine that.

We decided that putting a little bit of extra money into quality sleep would be worth it. We had no idea just how much it really would be worth it. We use the zero-g feature every night before we fall asleep.

It takes all the pressure off of your back and lets you watch TV or read in a super comfortable position. My husband would prefer to sleep in zero-g but I am a side sleeper and it is not good for that.

This is where a split base would have been good but we didn’t feel like we needed it at the time since we didn’t know how life changing this base would be for us. We also use the massage feature regularly even though it doesn’t seem “strong” enough.

After using it a few times, we realized that it does make a difference and are enjoying it more now. We also love that it has a remote that allows easy control of everything. I am so glad we made this purchase; we are getting much better and higher quality sleep nightly.

Before this foundation I had slacks that were about 8 inches apart from eachother. This caused a lot of pain and ruined any mattress on it. After much research for a flat foundation, there was really no other considerable foundation than the Tempurpedic flat foundation.

I ordered it and am so happy with it. I’m able to trust that I’m on a genuine good foundation for sleep. I trust it’s quality. I loved it so much that I switched my mattress for a Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid.

Now I’m sleeping on a good quality mattress that’s on a good quality foundation. The only thing I would change about it is to have it available at the 5 inches for a twin (normal). I wanted it in the 5 inches instead of 9 but the 9 has been great anyways.

I purchased our 2nd Tempurpedic mattress because ours was getting quite old and I thought the ability to raise the head of the bed was a good idea. Suffice it to say that it wasn’t as hoped for and made our bed so high I had to jump to get in it.

Our daughter informed me that Tempurpedic has bases of different heights. I was worried that we would not be able to get a lower base as the raising part was attached to the under part of the mattress.

Tempurpedic assured me the deliverers could make it right. And they did!! A few minutes and they detached the mechanism from our mattress and put the new base under. It was now 5″ lower and is perfect! Thank you, Tempurpedic for having an answer to everything! Plus, the very best mattresses.

I have a Tempur-pedic mattress and I love it. But when we purchased a new bed frame which is a platform bed, I found my back was hurting. So upon the reccomendation of your website, I purchased a low-profile mattress platform.

Well, the platform is of very poor quality and not supportive in the least. It appears, (without taking off the fabric to be sure) to be made of cardboard on a wood frame! I would have done better to just buy a piece of plywood.

And the worst part is the thing is NOISY. It creaks and groans every time my husband moves or sits down on the bed. Definitley a poor product and I am very dissapointed.
