20 Best Allergy Medicine For Watery Eyes (2023 Updated)

i have tried just about everything for my very dry eyes, almost every brand from the drug store, so saw this on well. ca and bought it. it was very nice to see that my eyes did not have the gritty dry feeling after two uses and in two days i could do my work for hours on my computer comfortably.

the drops work well. use them liberarally for a few days few times a day, and you will see results.

I try so many brands for my dry eyes. Nothing works. I moved to humid Connecticut from dry Colorado and my eyes was going crazy. My daughter is nurse and she introduced me to this brand. Now I have healthy eyes and I don’t need use drops all the time.

With the mass spread of COVID-19 I came across a little scare recently. I woke up with what I thought was a minor itch in my eye, that turned out to be pink eye. Hospitals being full of patients with a greater need for medical attention, and Urgent Care centers closed all around, I searched for what could potentially assist me in assuring this pink eye didn’t get any worse.

In my search I came across Pink Eye Relief Drops, just apply 2 – 3 drops in the affected eye and allow to sit for at least 2 minutes, continue the process for at least 24 hours to see full results. I was lucky enough to be cured by doing so but I do advise seeing a medical professional should the situation get any worse.

Very well priced for the bottle and very easy to use.

While Alaway wouldn’t be my first choice for an allergy eye drop, it works well and it is the only one (other than a “natural” product that doesn’t work for me) available in preservative free vials. I was thrilled when I read several months ago that these would be introduced in March and on March 1, I started checking online to see if they were available.

Evidently Walmart was the first to get them. I received the drops in two days and I’m so pleased. The preservatives in bottled eyedrops seem to bother my eyes as much as the irritants that bother my eyes in the first place, so this is a wonderful solution, just in time for spring-blooming trees.

I’m currently 18, and before I tried this at Family Dollar One Day I was always in sooo much pain with my eyes. Nothing worked so always had scratches on my eyelid and I had to cry to make em feel better or nap with a rag.

We always over looked before it’s rather expensive, but when I tell you. Just try it one time it’s not years of crying and struggling was over. I panic matter of a fact when I can’t find it. Just make sure you keep in cool or it doesn’t work as well.

In the summer put it in freezer before you use it and it’ll be just fine. Or even over an AC vent. When outside house just keep in pocket or in a shady place like a purse. Works just as good. But don’t wipe it at all.

Let it drain and use a napkin to very lightly dap AROUND the eye. Never rub it and make sure you wash your hands before and after. It’ll burn really bad depending on how bad your eye is at that moment, but it works.

Out as many drops as you need. I normally do both eyes because it’ll make the other feel dry. I use maybe 2-4 drops on irritated eye. And it goes a long way in the winter. Summer you run out every month seems like.

But it’s a decent price to pay for the irritation to go away. Hope this works for you! Thanks for reading! :).

These are the ONLY eye drops that work for my allergies, and really period, for any type of eye drop need for me. In the past it contained the same antihistamine that is in Psudafed, Tylenol allergy/ cold, Actifed, which was Chlorpheniramine maleate.

It now contains contains Phenirmine maleate, but works 99 % as well. It also contains Boric acid which is a natural antibacterial, and antifungal.

I absolutely love these eye drops. I don’t like taking medication because everything makes me sleepy (even the “none drowsy”) so I came across these drops and I use allergy nasal spray and the combination of the two work better than any pill on the market.

I’ve had allergies since I was born and this combo has saved my life as I’ve gotten older and I don’t have to live life drowsy anymore.

Great product and very affordable price. Hard to find. The expiration dates on the products were accurate (as described in the product description). So 3 bottles won’t go bad until you use them up. Very nice packaging and in a good shape.

Packaged well. Each bottle seal intact. Expires 2022 November. Will definitely order again. I will post a picture next time. I already opened the bottle and threw out the packaging.

At the suggestion of my opthomologist, I switched to Alawy from a previous product. I have found it to be very helpful and the itching has mostly stopped.

I have super bad allergies and have tried loads of different things over the years. Visine’s Allergy Eye Relief Multi-Action is the only thing that has helped me over the past four or so years. It does burn a good bit when my allergies are at their worst, so be warned and expect that.

Aside from that though, this stuff really works and I would highly recommend if you can get past that! Also, I wear contacts and it doesn’t have any adverse effects when I put my contacts in about half an hour to an hour after I use the drops!.

Omg. a lifesaver. I had conjunctival chemosis yesterday night bc of a pet dander reaction and also rubbing my eye too aggressively. Usually i just take some allergy pills and wait it out but friends were visiting today so I needed the red eye and puffiness gone asap.

Did some googling and this had some good reviews so decided to try it out and omg. My redness was gone within minutes, and the swelling of my conjunctiva is reduced significantly.

I am just trying this for the first time today 5-31-22, read about what to expect, the website said to expect some tingling, but it burned, like so bad I could not open my eyes for about 2 minutes, then my eyes felt kind of numb for about 5 minutes.

That said it worked almost instantly to stop the itching. I have chronic dry eye and severe allergies, I used to be on a Rx eye drop that also burned like this. I was using Pazeo until it went OTC. Now called extra strength Pataday. It’s exactly the same as the Rx version. The ophthalmology fellow who checked my eyes during my visit to the ophthalmologist said it’s still the best med for eye allergies, and that it can be used twice a day if once a day isn’t enough (my eyes still itch at night in the summer).

I do hope the price comes down further; would be willing to buy 3 pack.

I have sleep apnea and because air gets in my eyes from my machine I get dry eyes. I have tried everything under the supervision of my optometrist. Similsan works like a charm and my eyes have not been this clear in years.

I have had severe eye allergies for many years that is brought on by pollen and pets. I have tried many other over the counter allergy eye drops in all price ranges and was always left with itchy swollen eyes and minimal relief.

Never satisfied with any of the other eye drops that I had used I would try a new brand each time I ran out, until now. The Bausch Lomb Alaway antihistamine eye drops work and work fast!! Within 30 seconds of using these drops my eyes start to feel relief and the itching is soon gone completely!! The drops are also soothing and helps calm the redness.

My search for allergy eye drops is over and this one ACTUALLY works!.

The Alaway worked ok during allergy season. The problem I had was that it didn’t last very long. However, during the first few hours it worked great when I was outside in thick pollen. Maybe I had a bad bottle, I don’t know.

I will not be purchasing again because it’s a little pricey not to work for me.

For anyone with severe allergies, like Vernal Conjunctivitis, this is a God-send! As a kid I was told by an ophthalmologist that what I thought was an infection was a severe allergy. It lasted years when I first had the case of it, and it returns every so often when allergy season is worse than usual (like this year in Southern California after all the rain).

The itching, discomfort, and pain while blinking caused by those “cobblestones” that develop under the eyelid were making a comeback recently, and I was desperate to find relief, worried it would be as bad a case as I had when I was younger.

The best Visine for dry eyes. I have a medical condition that causes severe dry eyes but the regular Visine “Tears” (as they were once called) would just roll out of my eyes and not absorb. These don’t roll out! I don’t know how they did it because it’s still a liquid formula but when you drop it in your eye, it feels so soothing and seems to absorb and most definitely lasts way longer than the type that isn’t all day comfort.

If you put a lot of drops in, like I have to, then you will get some roll out but nothing like the regular formula. If you simply have dry eyes and aren’t looking for anything medicated or redness relief, then these are the drops you want to get! They are expensive but a bottle lasts me a long time and the relief is so worth it.

I have tried every Visine dry eye formula and this one is the longest lasting. I get dry eyes over night and wake up to eyes that hurt to blink. This was caused from two different Lasik procedures, which is known to leave one with dry eyes.

I needed something that would help alleviate the pain of a dry morning eye. If used before bed, most mornings I wake without much discomfort before applying a few drops. I do not need to use them during the day too often as they seem to has a lasting effect.

I got this a few days ago because I have seasonal allergies. When I have an allergy attack my eyes really get itchy so I decided this product Clear Eyes would be helpful. I have only had to use it once since I got it and it works well.

My eyes stopped itching and my eyes have never appeared as clear and white as they did when using Clear Eyes. Definitely helps-so far it has lasted all the day. Hopefully this will continue to work. The only problem I had was getting the drop to fall into my eye easily-seems hard to press small bottle to get drop to fall.

Perfect Timing!!! I recently got this product, Clear Eyes Once Daily, Allergy Itch Relief, 0. 085 fluid ounces in anticipation of my springtime allergies. However, the weather has been very mild lately and we’ve opened all the windows to air out the house after being closed in for so long this winter.

My 2 boys and I have nasty allergies, my middle and 1st son, has had allergies since he was quite small. I live in the in the Sandhills region in NC. My son was born in Germany and around the tone he was 4-5 months old, we moved back to NC.

This product was recommended to me by my optometrist shortly after it was changed from prescription only to OTC. At certain times of the year, my eyes get so itchy, watery and red, that it’s downright painful.

Pataday is soothing. My only complaint is that the bottle which is quite tiny only contains a 30 day supply, which is basically 30 drops, give or take a few drops. The plastic container it is in is difficult for me to squeeze due to my arthritis.

And, my aim isn’t always perfect, so sometimes one bottle doesn’t get me through a month. It’s not cheap. Though from what I’ve read, it’s a lot less expensive than when it was only available by prescription.

Overall, I’m satisfied with it and will continue to purchase it.

I bought these a few days ago (I live in East Tennessee, Land of the Pollen), so allergies are usually pretty awful. My eyes were a little itchy, so I was like “hey, why not try the drops? May as well.

” Hell naw. I put one drop in each eye and it burned so bad. Not to mention it took what little itchiness I was feeling to level 500. It’s been about 20 minutes now. The burning is gone but my eyes are still very itchy.

I use these during allergy season. They help me some. It’s refreshing at the start. Doesn’t last very long. I end up at the Dr office getting a prescription for my eyes. I think if someone doesn’t have many allergies it would work for them.

I have several environmental allergies from dust, pollen, pets and so on. I recently saw my Optometrist who recommended I try their professional brand of eye drops.
