Mother’s Day is right around the corner. It’s time to take a moment to remind ourselves that, in the middle of a perpetual cycle of chaos and grime, Moms Rock!

This video made the rounds in social media a few weeks ago. I’ll admit, I glossed over it about ten times thinking, Tough job interview? Why in the world would I be interested in that? That’s so far from my swim lesson-room mom-500 ways to serve broccoli-kind of life. If that’s you, trust me when I say, watch it. So, how much is what we do really worth? Salary.com made this incredibly thorough infographic that takes all sort of variables into account for both working and stay-at-home moms. So, with all this proof, Mother’s Day should bring pretty fabulous things! Sadly, the commercial machine gets it wrong. Of course, what we really want wouldn’t really make very good TV. How about an eight hour televised nap-in? Rants From Mommyland (tag line “For the love of God, let me pee alone!) nails it with this hysterical chart. Maybe this is the one that needs to “accidently” be left out.
