Some years, the fall movie lineup isn’t as great as others but the upcoming season is jam-packed with promising titles and highly-anticipated sequels.  Of course, we can’t list all of them but here are some films to keep on your radar in the coming weeks and months.

Riddick

He soon finds himself being hunted by predatory aliens and, although he’s a wanted man, he knows that activating the emergency beacon will be the only way he can survive. Once all the bounty hunters realize where to find him, he will have to find new ways to make it out alive.

This terrifying film might be a bit early for Halloween but it makes up for it by hitting theaters on Friday the 13th.  The original cast returns for this sequel as the Lambert family who try to close their connection to the spirit world by uncovering a childhood secret.

Looking for lighter fare on that unlucky Friday?  This dark comedy follows the adventures of a Mafia boss and his family after they are relocated to a sleepy town in France as part of the Witness Protection Program.  The only problem is that they continue to bring attention to themselves by resolving conflicts the “family” way.
