20 Best Zip Front Sports Bra After Breast Augmentation (2023 Updated)

I purchased a small and a medium and kept the medium. Pre surgery I was 36DD post op I am around 36B three weeks post op replant surgery. This is very comfortable and provides comfortable compression and is a great price compared to the expensive surgical garment bras.

Which I have those as well. I purchased multiple so I could switch between laundering and this one is one of my favorites. Very comfortable at night since I have to sleep in a compression bra. Hook and eye closure are better than the zip ups I have those too.

It this is a good one.

After having breast cancer I have been having a hard time getting rid of some fluid at the surgery site. A very strong compression bra was recommend. I bought one which I though would do the trick but this one is unbelievable.

Really compresses and an added bonus is it covers the back fat because of the very wide back. It does give the appearance of a uni-bra but I don’t care. I purchased an X-large as I am a 42D and it fits great.

It was a little tight when I first put it on but now is very comfortable.

The bra was exactly what I was looking for after a breast reconstruction due to a mastectomy. The bra is very comfortable, gives really good support to breast and helps with posture. Very nice and high quality.

No wires, but the elastic at the bottom is all I need. Adjust to the skin and doesn’t roll up. I definitely reccomended product. I bought 2 more and exchanged a different item for an additional 2. Too bad it only comes in black and cocoa.

I broke my arm near the top of the bone and have been absolutely incapacitated! I immediately went on Dillards. com to find a bra I could put on and found this one, which has been a lifesaver! I have not had any breast surgery but still needed a comfortable bra that I had a prayer of fastening – the five hook and loop closures are in the front — and this bra fit the bill! So glad to find it comfortable, too! There’s no wiring but it it is still supportive and comfortable enough that I could sleep in it if I had to.

It’s nicely made with high-quality, soft fabric. I recommend it to all women because it’s wonderful to wear when you don’t want anything with a tight binding — wonderful for evenings and weekends around the house.

I kind of guessed on the sizing and it was perfect! Don’t hesitate to buy it — all women need something like this. Love it!.

I absolutely love this bra for it’s comfort. It has a wider shoulder strap that’s more comfortable and the light padding is the perfect amount for a smooth look without stiffness. This is the first bra I’ve found that has been comfortable since my surgery 5 years ago.

I wear it all day bc it’s as supportive as a sports bra or better in a DD cup. This was my second purchase of this same style this year. I hope this style bra will be available for more purchases for years to come.

Love the adjustable straps. It’s comfortable. The only suggestion I’d make is to remove the tag in back. I’m wearing front hook bras because of an irritation on my back. The tag hasn’t – but could – irritate it.

If reviews of a bra say it runs small or is compressive, I run to it because that’s when the L typically fits me best. I often have the problem of a L being too big in the band, but fits my boobs well and I had the same issue here.

I have found the exposed elastic is always super stretchy and makes the band way too big on me. The rest of the bra fit well and I like the fact that it could be switched from racerback to regular straps.

I also love how good the pads fit in the bra; they don’t move with the seam on the inside. Unfortunately, I’ll be returning it just because it’s too big around. Otherwise its super cute with the other black and white options from the release.

I personally would not recommend sizing up.

Sadly, I am returning this. I usually wear a small in Senita bras, and while a small fit I’m wondering how a medium would fit. Perhaps if between sizes choose to size up. The main reason I’m sending this back is the zipper.

While your skin is protected from the zipper by a slip of fabric between your skin and the zipper (which was comfortable), there is nothing protecting your shirt from the top side of the zipper – and I can see that causing snagging or piling.

I tend to be more comfortable with a top not just a sports bra only. Otherwise, it was cute but not enough to keep.

Nothing wrong with this bra, I was just not wowed by it. And with so many Senita sports bras that I like, I decided to send it back. I think I was hoping for a more flattering cut for my smaller chest and it just doesn’t do that.

I also decided the chance of me using the zipper part was very slim, so why keep this. It’s true to size and I’m sure some people will love it, but I’d rather get the strappy, Sarah, or Amy sports bras.

I hope I had read all the valuable reviews, especially who have the similar size with me. The first wearing is too tight to breath, pads are extremely thick like the old days false breast bra. I thought it’s for “support” but maybe it for “shape”? I doubt how could it be dry-fit.

The back design is so cute! However, here we are. I’m looking for a new bra and reviewing Nike’s website again. I fount a review said she’s size is 32C/34B, size S cup runs small while band is okay which is confirmed by my experience, and size M has a loose band and a bigger but thicker cup.

I guess I can save some time from this note. Generally, it do provides a good support and it looks pretty, may good for winter runner? I really want to love it.

I was hopeful for this bra based on the reviews. I normally buy the Alpha sports bra but they take some major contortionist moves to them on and off, so wanted to try out a high-impact with a front zipper.

I did my normal run/walk in this yesterday and am definitely not impressed. It is one of those high-impact bra that more pushes you up and together (so was bouncing a lot on top) rather than just holds you in where you are, like the Alpha does.

Also, the zipper had gone down halfway after my 3 miles. Lastly, it needs adjustable straps. Sports bras stretch out easily and it’s important to be able to make them adjustable/tighter.

This bra runs smaller than expected. I bought this because I already had one that I bought at a store a couple of years ago and I really liked it. I like the front zipper because it’s easy to put on and take off.

until after a few washings. My first one is still good, but the zipper on this one has started sticking when I go to put it on. I just bought it in April. I went to put it on last night (2 1/2 months after purchase) and the zipper broke.

Now the bra is totally useless. It can’t be worn if it can’t be zipped. It is so hard to find a good high support sports bra for running so I am very disappointed. I’ll have to start my search again for a good bra.

I bought this bra specifically and solely to be able to wear after shoulder surgery and it turned out to be a great choice! I researched for HOURS to find something that would be 1) racerback so the strap isn’t sitting on my incision site, 2) zippered front-closure so I can dress myself (or someone can more easily help me) 3) preferably adjustable, as the band size has to be larger than my actual size so I can fasten it in the early weeks after surgery (I can reduce the band size to my usual size as my range of motion increases), 4) a real bra, not just a lined cotton ‘sports bra’ (I wore some of these at the beginning out of necessity but I needed a real bra for when I left the house).

I purchased 4 different bras from a different online retailer and none of them could provide all of these features. I Googled “front-closure racerback zipper bra” and up came this bra from Knix. I ordered right away; I needed to size up for my purposes to make it easier to fasten but it’s perfect!! For shoulder surgery, I highly recommend this bra.

Fasten the band at the back a size or two larger than you would normally wear, adjust the shoulder straps a little looser than you would normally wear BEFORE putting the bra on. Using your good hand, Slide the bra on over your operated-on hand and up your arm until the straps are resting on your operated-on shoulder.

Use your good hand to adjust your breast into the cup, reach back and slide the straps from the other side of the bra up your good arm and onto your shoulder. The zipper takes some maneuvering at first, but by leaning forward slightly and arching your back forward slightly, you can use the good hand to bring the zipper together at the front and zip it up.

Takes a bit of practice but it works and you’re in a real bra! Comfortable, supportive and best of all, you can continue to wear it after your surgery because it will take a long time to be able to wear a bra with regular on-shoulder straps.

I’ve been hoping for years that Knix would add ++ bra sizes. I’m a 42 G/H but I’ve been wearing 8+ size despite not being the best fit because it’s a more comfortable fit than other sports bras. I’m looking for something for walking and hiking that can reduce bounce and wick sweat.

I was so excited to see a ++ size in this, even though I prefer the Catalyst and don’t like cross back/racer back bras because of the shoulder/neck strain they cause. PROS: -The support was right for what I was looking for.

If you want something for high impact/running, I’d recommend SheFIt brand -Liked the color options -Length of straps was comfortable (Catalyst style is almost too short for me) CONS: Unfortunately there were multiple disappointing design flaws with this fit and I had to return it.

1) The cross-back design meant that the straps were really close to my neck and weren’t covered often by shirts. I like being able to wear Knix bras with regular clothes too, so that didn’t work for me.

2) The front-zip design is bulky and was visible through my shirts. Not just the top zipper cover but also the cup padding was visible through the bra and the shirt. Not a good look, even with workout clothes.

A full flap (perhaps cushioned) covering the entire zipper would be better. 3) The bottom of the zipper didn’t have padding and would dig into my skin as I moved around. Not comfortable. 4) I appreciate there a lot of hooks in the back to better customize the size, but these bras also stretch out to the point I have to replace them because the band is too loose.

5) I wish the straps were adjustable from cross back to U-back PLEASE OFFER THE CATALYST IN ++ SIZES ASAP!!!!!.

I came here to compliment how top notch my customer service has been with Knix! The first bra I ordered was too large for me and I was quickly sent out a replacement in a smaller size. That bra fit but seemed to roll at the band so I quickly jumped on to chat with an expert and they assured me after the wash and wear process the rolling would subside but we could revisit if that’s not the case.

I ended up having a tear in the bra after a few wears (no washes yet) The customer service experience was once again handled so well and professional. Steph was so responsive to my emails and questions and offered so many suggestions to me as well as either a refund, store credit or replacement bra.

I opted for the replacement bra so that should be arriving soon. The bra itself: material seems like it’s made very well, although my experience with the tear was hopefully a fluke. The bra is comfortable so I was definitely willing to try it out again.

It fits snug at first but after wearing it it does begin to fit better. I wasn’t able to finish the wash and wear process but will do it for my replacement. Steph even offered an alternative bra that may be better suited for me if this replacement isn’t a great fit for me.

I love that this company stands behind their products and truly tries to help you find the perfect bra and fit! Because of that I’ll be ordering again in the future. I know my review was mainly geared towards my customer service experience but I felt it was necessary because of how well I was treated.

Always get professionally fit; even if you’re on a budget. I wear 32G (it’s all 22 inches of natural front load) and I’m 37 inches around the bust. Typically, I buy Wacoal and some Natori, both wire and wire-free.

I purchase 34DD because it’s a terrific fit. The band at the torso fits and it’s not binding. The straps at the shoulders are wide and don’t dig. The padding is light (about 1mm) and doesn’t seem to add to the overall “volume.

” I’m not quite sure if the sizing is accurate. But for my needs and lack of finding sports bras that hold and feel comfortable, this one feels and fits well. I purchase teal at the store and ordered pink separately.

Black seems to be only available online. The small hook by the zipper has me hooked! Nothing hangs, spills or bulges up. I may fit in this 34DD but since my original size is difficult to find, I don’t trust sister sizes, I just try lots of different types and styles of sports bras to find what fits best, and this style fits like a glove!.

This is an awesome bra that I would recommend to other females! The design is sleek, modern and feminine. The fit is near perfect and true to size. All areas of the bra have plenty of cushion or breathing room.

The material is soft, comfortable and flexible. I’m pleased with how I barely feel the underwire part of the bra. This bra is great for any occasion and I wear this product on a daily basis at home and at work.

I love, love, love this bra! The zip front makes it super easy to get on and off. I’m a 38D and the zipper stays up, even during high impact activities. This bra is very supportive – I can run and jump around with little to no bounce.

The back is also great – it does not pull on the neck, and it hides away under most tops (plus, it is stylish enough to show off if wearing without a top). The pale purple is gorgeous. Highly recommend.

Let’s be real, it’s a post-op compression bra, but it’s actually pretty comfortable. I can wear most of my tops and not have this show as it’s pretty low in the front so that’s been really great too.

I feel very supported though which is great, especially as I am recovering from reconstruction surgery so my breasts feel somewhat heavy. The fabric isn’t bad either, it’s been >30c here as it’s summer and I don’t feel uncomfortable, some post-op bras are really thick but this one is a nice thin fabric.

I have crease incisions and the thick band doesn’t irritate my bandages either which is another positive. I am in this bra for at least 3 months so I have bought 2 in each colour, I intend to use it for exercise after that time due to the support it gives me.

I would definitely recommend this bra.

This bra made me feel much more supported and secure that the post op bra, 6 days post op when I started moving around. I was more comfortable and confident to be more active in it and I now use it as my walking bra.

It’s also got a lovely low scoop and when I wear it with low cut tops (3 weeks post op) it gives me a really nice looking clevage – first time in my life! It’s also extra padding on the strap so it doesn’t dig into you, the straps are adjustable and they can also cross over at the back.

The downsize was I measured myself wrong, The firm supportive strap that runs around the bottom of the bra rides up and digs into the part close to my incisions under the breast. They lady recognised that I had ordered a bra that seemed too small; I ordered 32C but she phoned me, checked my measurements and suggested a 34C.

Make sure you’re measured correctly. It would have been the BEST bra had I purchased a size up.

I would highly recommend this product post breast surgery. I wore it night and day for 6 weeks post surgery. It is so comfortable especially to sleep in. I’m really struggling to now find an everyday bra that’s as comfortable.

I love this top! It’s so versatile. I’ve worn it to the office and to the gym. Mine didn’t come with the logo on the front but I don’t mind that. My measurements are 42-35-42 and the XL fit me perfectly.

This is definitely one of my more disappointing purchases. I have been searching for a great sports bra for some time now. I was referred to this brand, and I have tried all of their bras, and unfortunately none of them fit properly.

I used the fitting services, and they have told me that I am in between sizes because my rib cage is small and my natural breast size or cup size is large. I know they do not like to talk about bra sizes, but for reference I typically wear a 34DDD.

Having to size up to their luxe so that the cup size would fit, I have to tighten the rib cage strap so tight to stop from bouncing that I can barely breathe. I have to tighten the shoulder straps so much to stop from bouncing that my boobs feel like they are pushed up to my chin.

So I guess one could say that the broad is supportive, if supportive means that your boobs are completely pushed up and smooshed totally together. I really wanted to find a sports bra that provides some separation, but this bra gives me the dreaded uni-boob.

I also hope that you have scheduled extra time because this bra is difficult to put on. I absolutely hate front zip bras, and watch out for catching your skin in it while you zip. Ouch! There is so much hooking, and maneuvering, and adjusting required, it can take more than a full minute or two to get the bra on.

OK so now you have the bra on, your breasts are shoved together and pulled up, and now it’s the most unattractive brawl to wear. The structure is bulky, and I feel like it looks like I’m wearing some kind of bullet proof vest.

The zipper is really thick and super obvious, as is the brawl structure and seeming its self. I unfortunately really cannot recommend this brawl nor say anything positive. Do you have to offset high impact support for my workouts with discomfort and ugly it’s simply not worth it.

Absolutely LOVE this bra!! Admit I ordered one after seeing all the TikToks aaand I’m so glad I did. I am 36E (ish) and of course can never shop at LaSenza, LaVieEnRose or even department stores here in Canada and end up having to go to specialty boutiques so I love the sizing (went w the Luxe) which is a little snug (technically I should probably have gone w a 1Luxe right now) but I love the support, how cinched in I feel and free because everything is so lifted and held in place as I’ve always wanted/needed and as I’m trimming down, I love that I can adjust it in every way from the band to the straps as I get smaller!! The velcro is great and not only is the Flex sturdy but I feel like the quality will give it great durability (time will tell on that one 🙂 I will be handwashing mine w Eucalon (or maybe Forever New) I always go for bras with molded cups so the Flex is perfect for me (just ordered an ultimate as well, which I saw is seamed, so will compare and review once that’s in).

I also like that you can wear it as is X or change the straps to H formation as well. I purchased the Flex in the beautiful pink Blush shade and I love the colour, little crown logo, gold accents absolutely all the attention to details (like the inner eye and hooks in the closure and the fabric zipper cover for comfort) plus my fav is the colour/look is exactly my style.

I sent a friend who games the pic and he said I look like I am wearing the body armour or the warrior princesses in his games – so ya know pretty badass lol I do wish that there was free/complimentary shipping to Canada (over a certain spend) as there is for the US, that would be most definitely appreciated (and for sure I would purchase more if there was as I really think about each time I look at something if I want to spend the additional $25 and factoring in the exchange).

That is the only drawback for me. It does make it pricier for us in Canada for sure but the quality, features, fabric, fit and function definitely make it worth it! I wholeheartedly recommend it if you have been thinking about it and been on the fence, splurge and treat yourself to an amazing foundational garment (I know I am going to be wearing it daily under regular clothes as well) and fun and fantastic workout/sports top/bra – it will make your life better and you are worth it!!.

Had to make an exchange (I’ll explain!) And I ordered 3 medium impact bras (in 2 colors, black and blush, they fit the same). Once you are fitted properly, the bra works perfectly. My measurements are 42″ bust, and 33″ rib cage.

Based on these and the size chart, I first ordered a 1Luxe (range bust: 40-44″, rib: 33-35″). However, this ended up being too small for my breasts – the bra doesn’t fit the way you’d think. It is like the front half (for the boobs) is a mold and is inflexible, and the straps hang off.

You cannot adjust the straps to make the front-breast part fit better, they can only generate support by fitting your back snugly. So even though the *straps* of the 1Luxe fit me, the breast-portion of the bra didn’t.

It was very easy to make the exchange! I ordered the 2Luxe hoping for the best. And the 2Luxe fits absolutely perfectly!!! FYI, I don’t think any breasts bigger than mine could fit into the 2Luxe. I am on the longest possible strap configuration for over the breasts, and like I mentioned the back-straps are to generate support, they can’t be used to fit more breast tissue.

I measured my bust differently to try and make sense of this. Overall I am 42″ bust, but just the front half of my chest (the breast part) is 27″, and the back half is 15″. Another thing – the 2Luxe can be strapped around ribcages smaller than 33″! Right now (I measured it) I have 7″ of velcro to spare.

Which is ideal for me! I have lost 50 lbs so far to 185 lbs (from 230 lbs, 5’4″) and plan on losing more till I reach 130-140lbs. (Addition – I am using up 15″ of the velcro strap, so the 2Luxe can also fit much larger ribcages too!).

I feel absolutely confident I can wear these same bras throughout my weight loss journey. There is definitely room in my bra (in the breasts and ribcage portioms) for me to become smaller and still able to adjust and achieve a snug fit.

I tried jumping, and my breasts DID NOT MOVE – nothing I have ever experienced before I assure you!!!!! I’ve never had a bra fit me this well. I do 1 hour of zumba (high energy dancing, lots of jumping!) or skating everyday.

I used to have to grab my boobs with both hands while I did jumping jacks. Those days are over!! So I am very pleased with this product. Don’t give up on the sizing!!!! It is like you are shopping for the ‘breastplate’ that fits your chest best and the straps have miles of wiggle room.

Never had a bra where the shoulder straps were too short even when adjusted to the max to make them longer! Very uncomfortable because of that, straps digging into my shoulders which I don’t know why more material couldn’t have been used because otherwise the bra would have been good for me! I am only 5’ 4” with a short torso.

I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the material was comfortable just too bad I couldn’t keep it and ended up having to pay return shipping too. I can’t be spending money on return shipping trying on mastectomy bras as for me it’s hard to fit a bra with a prosthesis so I will need to buy elsewhere that has free return shipping.

This has been a great mastectomy bra. I really enjoy the ease of the front closure.

I recently had major heart surgery and was healing braless. Being well endowed I began to feel going braless was not helping my recovery. I searched everywhere for a bra that would work but wouldn’t create more problems with my sutures.

Thank heavens my friend spotted this in her Mileskimball Catalog and passed it on to me. A Godsend!.

It has no support to it. I just felt squeezed into it. Only really small people should buy this product. If you are a large woman, don’t buy it.

I bought this bra for post augmentation support and healing. I used the sizing chart that was provided and it fits very snug. The bottom band is almost too tight for my comfort level but your site does say that it’s supposed to be that way and my doctor said this was ok.

Overall this is an awesome sports bra, however, with the way that it is made, it does take some breaking it in before I was able to get adjusted to the way it fits. This bra doesn’t let my chest move at all.

I’m sure for someone who is very thin and can walk into a gym or out in public without their fat rolls showing this is a great sporty fashion statement. I wish that was the case for me. I do have my flaws, and I embrace those flaws but this is not meant to look good underneath clothing.

The way that the zipper has the fabric covering for the zipper is great, but it really shows underneath any type of clothing. It looks like I have a big lump at the top of my cleavage from this lump of fabric.

I realize that it serves a purpose and for the size of bra that I had to get to accommodate the new twins, but it is one of those things where like I said, great great product for someone that looks good in nothing but a sports bra and leggings or shorts.

Not good for actually wearing it with an everyday functioning wardrobe. I really do love the supportiveness of the bra but I wish there was a smoother option so that it would be an attractive undergarment for all of my clothing.

I was so excited when I got the text letting me know my Shefit bra had been delivered. But, to my disappointment it was like trying to wrestle a pair of squids into snack size ziplock baggy! I purchased the size indicated by your website but to no avail! I just wanted to finally have a bra that was comfortable, stylish, and easy to put on, I didn’t think that was too much to ask! Anyway, I figured the only way I could ever afford to buy a Shefit was on clearance, not my best idea! I purchased two which sadly did not fit after an hour of trying to zip up the bra! A few nights later, I was still festering over my spectacularly poor, but, rather expensive purchase! So, like any idiot that decided to fix a problem at three in the morning! I decided to order the next size up because I really wanted a Shefit to fit! Even though, l was able to eventually get it zipped and get the girls adjusted I was still spilled out! I’m sure that give enough time I would have been able to get used to not being able to breathe and the fact that the back of the bra was rolling up my back would prove to be a challenge!! But, getting back on track, l am now stuck with three bras that I can’t ware or exchange to see if I can fit into the largest size you offer to see if that will finally fit!! But, as you know there are no refunds or exchanges on clearance items! And this is why I am giving my Shefit disappointment one star!.

This sportsbra applied the least amount of discomfort to my scoliosis of their five types, however when I tried to remove it after a sweaty morning at the gym I couldn’t unlatch the clip over the sternum.

The clip got caught in the material and I eventually had to remove it over my head like a shirt. When I contacted shefit about this issue they said they will be redesigning the clip for February 2023, so that shouldn’t be an issue, but they also said that this is a night time sportsbra and not meant to be used at the gym.

That’s strange to me. So, wait on buying this one until 2023. Of their five types of sportsbras that I tried this was the only one that didn’t hurt my scoliosis, but apparently it’s not meant for working out.

What a strange company. Also, because I wore it to the gym Shefit will not return it for me. Their return policy is junk. Buy their products from Amazon and call it a day if you wish to try them.

Loved it. All the way from Cali I was so excited to recieve them. I recently had a breast reduction and needed compression bras. I bought one here in a store close to where I live that sells fajas as well and it was not even close to the ones i purchased with this boutique.

Strong and perfect for breast job. It’s not loose and cheap like others and doesn’t lose elastically after 1 use.

I have been shopping for a running bra for flat closure (bilateral mastectomy, no reconstruction) since I was able to run after surgery. I was hoping to go without, but stuff still jiggles and it isn’t comfortable.

One small sportswear company (Bolder Athletic Wear) made several for me based on their design for a ****** protector for men. I also found TomBoyX which makes sportswear for diverse genders. Neither made an open in the front product that I needed for some chest revision.

I had looked at Anaono and decided to try this bra. Like all the others except Bolder and TomBoyX, it requires pads/foobs to fill in where I’m concave. This will work for recovery, but once I am active, the extra layer will be the equivalent of a down vest.

Bottom line: pretty product. Good support. NOT FOR FLAT CLOSURE in the long run.

The materials and consctructioni are excellent (a return to the softnest of “Make Merry”). The soft but resilient and supportive material also excellent however that said for a smaller midriff line with a fuller low bust even at the tightest setting it gaps and rides up in the back.

As much as I enjoyed the order prior to this one the front closoure, six hook, model AO-018 size M and I had it on the tightes six closure it was too large in the band and rides up. It is great for at home but and some of your “smalls” are too tight for me in the cup and to large in in the bank.

Look to one of your competitors Itailian designer Cosabella, they have a curvy, small band line. Love your ehtose and concept but it seems that from model item to model item the sizing is inconsitent, at least for me.

I alternate between whether the Rora or the Monica is my favorite. Both are very comfortable and I own both in two colors. I hesitated to order at first because I am three years post surgery and no longer have the same issues with sensitive scar or radiated tissue that I had then and that so many of your target clientele have.

I am so glad I went ahead and only wish I had done so back then. These are so soft and comfortable and fit well. They somehow miraculously make me look even again, which makes me more confident and makes buying shirts easier (more options in drape, fabric, and pattern).

Buying bras has always been a hassle, but AnaOno has made it so easy, and I am so pleased with my purchases.

Zipper broke within the first three weeks! The zipper is low quality and after a few times wearing it the zipper got stuck and then broke. I purchase a lot from Soma but unfortunately some of their bras are not well designed.

The hooks are also hard to use sometimes, hard to get them unhooked. The hooks should be a different type and the zipper should be stronger. It fit nice and comfortable and loved the front closure but I hardly wore it before the zipper got stuck.

I’ve got a competitor’s zippered bra I’ve had for 15 years that still zips great! The other bra I have has a bigger teeth zipper and has never gotten stuck or broke in 15 years!.

I bought a black and grey version of this bra. It is very carefully made and super strong with beautiful details. I love the zipper but the two hooks in front are really tiny and can be extremely difficult to open, especially when the bra is wet from sweat.

I even asked a family member to help me and she couldn’t open it either. I ended up pulling the bra over my head to get it off. I no longer use the hooks before the zipper in order to avoid complications.

Also, this bra runs very high in front, so if you are wearing a low-cut shirt, the front may extend outside the shirt, which may or may not look good, depending on your shirt. The bra is super comfortable to wear and I love the back and the zipper, as well as the quality craftsmanship.

It’s also especially handy for women with larger cleavage and definitely keeps me in place. I just wish the construction details (hooks, front cut) were slightly different. Overall, I’m still happy with the product; I just can’t wear it with all the tops that I’d like to wear it with.

Because I was tired of struggling to remove traditional sports bras, I decided to try this zip front version. Some reviewers have commented on difficulty engaging the zipper. So I fasten the two hooks first and then fold back the small flap at the bottom of the zipper prior to pulling up the zipper.

Works great for me. I’m a person with a small frame and wear a 38C bra. I love the comfort and support this bra provides and if the strap around the neck wasn’t slightly visible through the top of my shirts, I’d be tempted to wear it in addition to workouts.

I love the wide, firm chest band on the Closer and the Double Down styles. The Closer is comfortable and secure (much more secure than zip front styles from other brands) thanks to the internal hooks.

As a breast cancer survivor I have been searching for good bras that meet all my new needs. My only suggestion for The Closer (for those who need to know, or those who might have influence over future style adjustments) is that it could use a bit more side-boob coverage.

My mastectomy scars show in this bra more than in the Double Down or the Original Adjustable. Right around where the solid fabric meets the mesh fabric on the sides it could use a little more width for coverage.

My implant reconstruction has increased my need for side coverage. The Double Down is fabulous for that, so I know that the folks at Handful know their business. I will definitely use the Closer for the days when I just can’t face the sports bra wrestling match.

I am always so skeptical about specialty workout bras for women in my size (currently 32F). My ribcage is so narrow compared to my cup size, and my breast shape and broad shoulders often mean that I end up with a uniboob or deep red marks on my ribcage by the end of the day.

I am sitting here VERY pleasantly surprised because I just got my Closer Bra today, put it on over 4 hours ago, did a Pilates workout, taught a Pilates class, came home and walked my dog, it’s now pajama time.

and I have yet to start feeling like I want to rip this bra off and be free. The band is so smooth and comfortable! I’m not spilling out anywhere! I almost feel like I have nothing on! I am delighted that the pads are removable because I prefer a more natural breast shape in my bras – I already feel like my chest is out to “here” and I don’t want an ounce of extra padding in that area.

I’m so comfortable that I just ordered another Closer Bra. I may try running in this bra, although I suspect it won’t give me as much control as I might like, but we’ll see. For now, very happy to have a silky smooth super soft and comfortable bra to wear while doing Pilates, yoga, hiking, and errands.

I’m a distance runner for 40+ years. I’m well acquainted with sports bras’ various designs. Handful is the perfect post-surgery bra with a zipper front opening that has two cleverly placed eye-hooks so it is easy to zip.

It is thoughtfully constructed so there aren’t chaffing spots. They are comfortable to wear but I’m really looking forward to being healed enought to run in these bras! 🙂 It feels good supporting such an incredible company who’s mission & values are spot on.

I like the fact that you pull it on and then zip it in the front. So many sports bras are really difficult to get into over your head. The hooks in front to help zip are a great idea and really do make it easy to zip; however, they are quite difficult to detach after wearing.

I need to use a tweezer to pull them off because the material just doesn’t want to lift over the hook. I saw another review that the product is a bit low under the arms and I would agree about that – I feel like my upper side boob kind of pooches up above the bra on the sides and does get uncomfortable.

I think with a couple of tweaks this would be a great bra. I do like the support and, again, the ease of putting it on.

This was a pretty comfortable bra that I wore maybe half a dozen times, because it was very difficult to remove—the hook & eye closure has a stretchy fabric ‘eye’ that takes a good 3-4 minutes to undo.

I was able to wear it a few more times without using the hook & eye closures before the zipper completely failed in the meat department at Wegmans. Good Lord don’t let this happen to you and keep your 38DD kittens in their cage! Other Cons: padding is light, and you will have nipple show-through.

Plan on using Bezi’s if this is an issue for you. Sweat will be away from your body, but the front of the bra, and therefore your shirt, will be soaked. This is not a running bra, but suitable for yoga, the gym, or walking/light cardio equipment.

Pros: strap design is very comfortable for my narrow shoulders and the colors are nice. The option to share a photo exists for this review, but you can see any ‘Shoppers of Walmart’ series on the inter web and use your imagination as to what the failed bra looked like.

I bought this because it’s front zip and says it’s for high impact. I’m a 38D and need a real high-impact bra to keep everything in place when I exercise. This bra is not high impact. Not only is it not structured enough for that, it isn’t adjustable enough for me at 5′ 0″.

The straps are still too long and the band is down my rib cage. I wish bra brands would stop calling their products high impact when they clearly aren’t and it would also be nice if they could be adjustable enough to fit even short women.

This was my first item with this brand and probably my last. I am returning them.

I bought this bra in a quest for a comfortable bra to wear after mastectomy. It had to zip in the front and provide good support. I’ve worn it every day and night for the past 5 weeks, per surgeon instructions.

840+ hours of wear! It has been perfect: so comfortable and exactly the right amount of support! I got two more so that I could alternate in the wash. I plan to wear it even after I have recovered. I might change size based on the use – a bit smaller if I was doing high impact exercising.

I have a hard time with bras, I am burly but have boney ribs so most bands are too tight and painful. I wear a size large and am probably a 36D and got this in a size 12. It is SO soft and stretchy. I wanted a high impact bra for HIIT workouts and horseback riding.

I am not sure that this is high impact enough to stop all the bounce during my workouts and more intense riding lessons. But it has been perfect for hiking, casual riding, and barn work. The band stays in place and the straps do not slide down my shoulder.

I tried the back-clasp version as well and it is also soft and comfortable but my shape looks a little nicer in this zip-front version, I like not having a back clasp to rub against my backpack, and I like the straps not sliding down.

I wish there was more colors, specifically the nice pale pink color the the other version comes in.

I really like the High Impact Zip front sports bra but do wish that it came in white or a lighter color other than Black or the Olive Floral. I did not see one in the store I was shopping at when I purchased the Black so I went on the website thinking that perhaps the store was out of a lighter color only to discover there are only the two options.

When wearing a lighter colored top both of these two color options would show through! This is a very great sports bra. Please offer it in lighter color options.

I really wanted to love this bra. It was the first one that really caught my eye on the website. But even though I started doing light yoga and strength training a few weeks after my lumpectomy, my body definitely wasn’t ready for the acrobatics it takes to fasten this bra so soon after surgery.

In my experience, it’s really designed for someone at least several months out from a lumpectomy and probably farther out from a mastectomy. You have to pull the bra over your head and then still have to fasten the clasps in the back, which made it really hard for me to get into–even harder than a traditional back-clasp bra.

The fabric is also more like a swimsuit and thus less comfortable than the modal fabric of a lot of the other bras for the immediate post-op period. My absolute favorite bra is Ana Ono’s Niya, which was still easy to get into following surgery even though it’s a pullover, is SUPER soft, and still provides enough support to serve as a low impact sports bra for me (38C).

Others might love this bra but I’m a Niya girl all the way.

I have been searching for a comfortable bra since Covid hit. Up until now, most days I’ve gone braless, because let’s face it – who really wants to wear a bra to sit inside all day? Not me! I figured I’d look and try to find something comfy to wear around the house, but that would also be acceptable in public for running errands etc.

My main issue when purchasing bras is I have extremely sensitive skin, so no underwire or irritating seams for me. While searching, I remembered Ana Ono from a few years ago. I figured I’d check out the site to see what new products they might have – and boy was I pleasantly surprised! I looked at the wide selection, and quickly ordered myself 2 bras (one being the Paige bra), and a few other items.

I thought to myself what do I have to lose? When they arrived, they were beautifully packaged. I took out the Paige bra and thought to myself – here goes nothing. I put it on, and I felt both comfortable and sexy at the same time.

The front holds the girls in place and the back is beautiful with a criss cross and subtle sheer panel. The comfort level is amazing, and the best part? NO SKIN IRRITATION! I was so happy that I ordered myself the other color available.

I highly recommend this for anyone who wants comfort and practicality in a bra. Thank you Ana Ono!.
