I finally found the perfect bikini shaving regimen that keeps the razor bumps and irritated skin away! We go to the beach as a family and I am subconscious about my bikini zone in my bathing suit. I did lots of googling and really only came up with some tips to success – exfoliation and moisturization.
I picked up some special products just for this purpose – eos Shea Butter Shave Cream and the Venus for Pubic Hair Skin Women’s Razor. The razor has mixed reviews but I found it worked well and lived up to it’s no irritation promise.
I first exfoliate with the area with St. Ives Apricot Scrub – I always have this on hand and use it all over my body. Rinse Well. Then apply the eos Shea Butter Shave Cream – which comes out like a soapy hand lotion.
Then gently use Venus for Pubic Hair Skin Women’s Razor trying to avoid too much repeat moves over the same skin. After I finish my shower I moisturize with Bio Oil and or Cerave Moisturizing Lotion.
I love EOS’ original shave cream with the pump. But the packaging on the original is very frustrating because of how thick the product is. So since this is in a squeeze tube I thought I’d give it a shot and wow talk about improving on something that was already fantastic.
This stuff is so hydrating, easy to use, and I love that the packaging makes it way easier to get the product out. Be aware, this stuff is thick. So if you’re not used to shave butters just be aware.
But again it’s really hydrating, my skin is fairly sensitive and I haven’t had any issues with it. My one irk is I will say the price is a little up there for a shaving product. But a little does go a long way so I doubt I’d have to run out and repurchase in a short amount of time.
I brought mine on sale and I used Ulta points to help make the price a little better for me. But really overall it’s a great shave cream. Amazing scent on it too.
AMAZING product. It really does work well. Some reviews on this seem a bit half-baked (maybe not, nothing works for everyone of course) because there are complaints that it doesn’t foam. Well, it specifically states that it’s non-foaming.
It really is more like a smooth and silky lotion. It takes a time or two to break the habit of preferring foam though, it’s kind of a trip (same thing if you use castile soap instead of shampoo and you’re used to things lathering).
It’s easier to see your legs though, and it’s actually preferable since you can see the hair underneath or anything you miss. It’s a lovely scent (I have all 4 and love them all almost equally) and moisturizes really well, it’s no joke people! This stuff is not hype!.

The coconut scent was so delightful and indulging! The steam of the shower spread the scent and it felt like an oasis! The Schick Hydro Silk Razor is by far the best razor I have ever used. It gives me the perfect close shave I like to get while shaving.
The only problem I came across was when I used both at the same time. The thickness of the 2-in-1 made me wipe clean the razor literally everytime I swiped it while shaving my legs to the point where the razor could not shave.
After a really long shave using both products together, the end results were flawless. The cream and skin conditioner did hold up to its purpose as my skin was hydrated and soft. The razor is better used with a body wash because it has its own skin conditioners on the razor head.

I have VERY sensitive skin and I use razors with lotion in the cartridges, so you don’t need shave gel and didn’t use any for quite a while. So you pump a little bit of the gel and it’s enough to cover your arm. I like the feel and colour and smell. BUT I am SO disappointed that this caused such a horrible reaction on both my entire arms.
I’ve been suffering. I do not know what caused this since aloe is good and it’s for sensitive skin. I must be allergic to something in there. It’s all over my arm and painful and red and itchy. I have to consult a dermatologist and that might take months.
This is an excellent product. It’s incredibly creamy and feels nice on the skin. A small amount is sufficient to cover the entire body. The skin feels as if it has been moisturized after using the gel.

Firstly I like the colour scheme they have going for this particular product. It’s not overpowering bold in your face colours more gentle, relaxing and soothing which to me tries to highlight the sensitive side of the shaving gel.
I do prefer men’s shaving gels to women’s but decided to give it a try especially for its sensitive care claims. I found this shaving cream to be smooth, easy to use, and helped to prevent me from getting accidental cuts or nicks on my skin while shaving. I do recommend this product, provided you like the scent of raspberry roughly speaking; the do have several other scents in this line if shaving creams, though I do not remember off the top of my head what they are, specifically.

I use to purchase this shaving cream many years ago from the Dollar Tree when I first moved out on my own. I was on a very tight budget, and had to plan every dollar I spent. I was never a huge fan of this shaving cream back then, but it was cheap and it did the job.
Fast forward over a decade later and I decided to try it again as it had been so many years. I however still feel the same way about this shaving cream as I did many years ago. This shaving cream has a tendency to dry my legs out, and it doesn’t provide me with the closest shave.

This is one of the only two shaving creams I use. I always look for unscented/perfume-free products because otherwise my skin breaks out. At first this product had a problem with rusting, but now it no longer does.
They have a similar one which is just called “sensitive” but I always get this one “ultra sensitive”. Super creamy, doesn’t dry out my skin, doesn’t irritate like some fragranced ones have.

What a shock, when I squirted the gel for the first time! A horrible odor assaulted my senses — to me it smells like a combination of skunk and body odor. I cannot imagine why Skintimate would put such an awful “fragrance” (and I use that term loosely) on the shelf.
I will never buy Aloe and Olive Butter again. I plan to take this 4-pack back to Sam’s Club and get my money back. Warning: Read the label!! P. S. I tried to upload a photo of the shave gel in question — twice.

This is a pretty decent shaving cream. It lathers up nice and thick and foamy, and the can lasts a long time. It isn’t irritating. It doesn’t clog your razor. The vitamin E does make a noticeable difference, but it doesn’t replace lotion-ing up your legs (or whatever else you shaved) after you get out of the shower.
The price point is reasonable. The brand is reliable. But that’s it. It’s JUST okay. It doesn’t blow me away, and I only buy it if I don’t see the shaving cream I usually go for. It doesn’t give me the closest shave, and the variety of scents are a little artificial for my taste.
But it is decent. I’ll give Skintimate that much credit.
