the shoes are so nice. love the color and quality, only thing im worried about is the stitching on the tongue of the inside of the shoe. it could easily rip when trying to put on the shoe or adjust it.

(hence the stitching doing exactly that) it only created a small tear but still. i wish it was stronger to avoid that happening.

Bought for my daughter who has relatively flat feet – she claims they add much more support than her previous two pairs of Asics. The color options were exactly what she was looking for. Reasonable pricing as well.

Run true to size.

Like previous review, my daughter had these shoes a little over a month and the toe area started pealing away from the upper. Will probably have to replace in another month or two She says they are very light and comfortable, but traction is not as good as other shoes she has had.

Teammates have had problems with the previous versions sole cracking. First pair of Nike volleyball shoes we have purchase and will likely not buy another pair. Does not appear to be designed specially for volleyball as most other shoes she’s has had had a much more substantial, secure toe box area that prevents toe area from having issues.

Look good and comfortable but would not recommend for the intensity of club/high school volleyball.

My daughter loves these we bought them at a local shop. 3 stars are because of the color. The rep at the local store told us these were White and Royal and that is what we look like. Online the color looks somewhat royal but the description says White and Navy.

If you are looking for Navy buyer beware. If you are looking for royal also buyer beware but if they are anything like ours the sure look royal. P. S. I own Lighting RX men’s and my daughter previously had Lighting R3 black and royal we both love the fit and performance great shoes last long my daughter played 3 seasons and pickup games year long.

Would defiantly recommend the shoes if the color is right.

My daughter plays a lot of volleyball. She buys a new pair of these every season, won’t even look at others. Other brands kill her legs after jumping so much. These have been a lifesaver! Hoping they are back in stock in her size soon.

I remember my dad using ASICS when I was a little girl. They were called ASICS Tiger back in. One of my favorite memories is of me at five years old and I put his volleyball sneakers on. They were huge on me of course, but those shoes represented my dad.

He played with me in those sneakers, I watched him playing volleyball in those sneakers. Dad is now retired. He needed new kicks and the memory of those Tiger sneakers came to mind so I started searching and found the UPCOURT 5 in white with yellow and blue detailing.

It was like stepping back in time. They’re not exactly the same, with a slightly more modern look but the feel of the classic is there and I had to get them. Dad was thrilled! He’s been wearing them almost non-stop.

He’s diabetic and he says these are his most comfortable shoes. We just ordered him another pair in blue. ASICS quality just can’t be beaten and plus the brand’s history; it’s a winning combination. My toddler and I both wear ASICS thanks to dad and the company upholding their quality and value.

Dig the traction and look. Toe box is a bit wide for my liking, not the Most comfortable, and Could use a bit more arch in the insert. But all that said is probably more a Me thing, than deserved criticism of this shoe; except for the toe box, which is roomy enough and feels like I should wear double socks.

It does a good job for what I wear them from which is playing Outdoor Pickleball and the price I paid.

This Asics model is comfortable from the start and grips well on hard surfaces. My most recent transaction is a repeat purchase of the “Upcourt 4” which indicates that I have been very happy with my previous pair.

My principal exercise activity is walking in pursuit of 10,000 steps a day. With these shoes, I get the fit and support needed to avoid blisters and foot pain in general.

I have been a die hard fan of the Gel Tactic 2 — I have 3 pairs, and they have never hurt my feet, my joints and back have never hurt from playing, and most important of all: They allowed me to move fast and aggressive on court due to their lightness and fairly low to the ground feeling.

This new model however — seems to be more padded and offers more support, which is great and all, but the weight has bumped up, as well as the size and bulk of the build of this shoe. Your feet are a little higher up, and not able to take off so fast and cut directions so smooth.

I do hope the Gel Tactic 2 model as it is will still be considered to be made in production, because it offered more than enough cushioning/support, and allowed speed and agility to excel as well. I am not.

Fantastic shoes. I have previously used 2 pairs of Gel-Rocket 9’s and wanted something with more cushioning for my knees while playing squash. I have found these shoes to be a good upgrade. They have the extra padding and it seems impossible to roll the foot in them.

I also like the aesthetics of them.

Uncomfortable heel, whereas the size was off by half a size (10. 5) rather than 10. Love ASICS fastball 1. This was not the best same. Bought ASICS fastball 3 from idecatlon instead. The lightness of that shoe is amazing.

Gel tactic not so light.

I purchased these back before volleyball season and they lasted around two weeks before the rubber was pulling away from the toe. In general, they are very heavy and feel chunky on the feet when jumping.

We kept them because the other shoes we ordered were back ordered. I think Nike should invest the same technology used for basketball shoes into their volleyball shoes. They would hold up so much better.

Overall, if you’re playing a higher level of volleyball the shoes will not hold up when diving continuously. You may get a month out of them. You also may want to consider making the lining of the shoe more durable, as most volleyball players wear ankle braces with their shoes.

The lining gets torn up very quick with ankle braces.

I bought the shoe for the look and comfort of it. Good for walking and doing my normal activities. I did not specifically buy for volleyball or any sport. I only really like the black color option. I love the exaggerated tongue and the velcro over the laces, more for style for me than anything practical like keeping the laces secure while playing a sport.

Overall, I love the masculinity of the shoe while being a women’s shoe- The thick sole without being platform with the gum bottoms. The archway of the foot is very padded. The color application is neutral and nice.

These are absolutely by far the GOAT for indoor court shoes. The fit is perfect, beyond comfortable and fits is true to size. They are super stylish I get loads and loads of compliments on these babies.

I’m about to purchase them in a few more color combos. 🙌🌟.

Purchased these shoes for volleyball. They were A GREAT FIT LENGTH WISE. I noticed they were a bit narrow for my feet, but not uncomfortable (I’m size US7. 5 womens, with 10cm wide feet), so i thought to size up to 8 (but i was told by my partner, not staff, that it’s best to fit better length wise so ensure my feet don’t slide forwards, so i stuck to 7.

5). Cue training, and there was incerasing pressure on my bunions. I originally thought nothing of it as stiff shoes need some breaking in, but when I took them off I realized they were breaking me in instead! Within the day of their first use, my bunions have gotten significantly worse over the short period.

They were not too bad before, but now my big toes are starting to step over my pointer toe (and this cannot be reversed. ). I ahve since pruchased some shoe stretchers to hope they can wear in the shoes for me, but might have to purchase new indoor shoes if this doesnt work out.

Otherwise, GREAT SHOE, absolutely NO SLIPPING ON THE COURT and felt so rooted in place. Soles are comfortable, just absolutely NO GOOD FOR WIDE FEET! Unforetunately, they were out of Gel Rocket 10 Mens in my size (since i think mens shoes are typically wider than womens).

I use Asics court shoes to play indoor volleyball and pickle ball. I’ve been buying the Gel Rocket model for about 8 years as I like the fit and the rubber sole. I have three pairs that I rotate through the week as I am playing vb or pb four days a week.

I replace them after about 100 court days of three hours each (300 hours). Though they don’t show sole wear, I know they are losing some of the support structure. I’ll use them as knock around shoes after that.

I bought the Gel-Furtherup as I could not get the gel rockets except in white which I don’t like. These shoe feels a bit different, but seems to be real close to the Gel Rocket. It’s about $10 less. I believe this shoe does have a true rubber sole, but it isn’t advertised as such.

I found the rubber soled shoes seem to perform better on the court than synthetic types. I never wear these outside as they pick up sand and dirt that effects the traction negatively.

The shoe seems like a good overall shoe (stable, light, decent looking, etc). The problem I has was with the asics. com recommending that I upsize by 1/2 size. I always wear an 11 Wide. I put this in their sizing recommendation tools, and it told me I needed an 11.

5 Wide. So I ordered the 11. 5. When I got the shoes, and tried them on, they seemed a little loose, but I trusted that Asics knew more than me and figured I just needed to wear them a little to let them settle in.

They are simply too big by a half size. This won’t do for indoor racket sports. I emailed customer service and they didnt even read my email. They sent me a canned refund response. I just need to buy shoes in person from now on.

buying from Asics. com got me the wrong size and poor customer service.

Brilliant volleyball trainers. Excellent grip and outstanding impact reduction. I would highly recommend these to anyone who is passionate about volleyball and is considering purchasing volleyball trainers.

really great shoe, does everything you want. Great support around ankle and ball of foot stopping all my foot rolling during play. really comfortable. Asics are my favourite indoor shoe and these don’t disappoint.

I’m still wearing them around the house as the top is a bit stiff but think they should be fine. Pleased to see the footbeds are easily removeable as I need more support for my arches and it was a simple matter to replace them.

If the toe area was a bit roomier they would be perfect.

I love, love, love these shoes. I bought them for tennis and they are super comfortable and give good support. I have also played outdoor and indoor pickleball in them and am very satisfied with the performance there as well.

I was surprised to read another reviewer was disappointed with the uppers. I have had these shoes for about a year and the uppers have held up admirably. I play almost every day and the soles showed wear relatively quickly but as I said, I’ve had them for a year, play every day and they are still usable, although it is time for a new pair.

I have had previous gel rockets and if I could give this negative stars I would. They missed the boat with these. While the feel comfortable, it feels like the forgot to build the upper part of the shoe.

Your foot doesn’t fit in the shoe and there aren’t enough laces to hold your foot in place. It feels like your foot is going to slip out of the shoe at any moment. Asics makes other great shoes, but they won’t offer them in the US.

Lost a customer on this one.

Very comfortable shoe. Maybe the best shoe i’ve tried for pickleball. Only question is whether this will standup to hard courts since it’s technically a volleyball shoe. I am sometimes between a 9 and 9.

5. This 9 just fits – not any extra room but it’s comfortable. I also have a more narrow foot and don’t think this would be a good fit for a wide foot.

I bought these because they were on a fantastic sale and I like pumas. Very comfy shoe. A little more “pink” than the picture but for the price it was a non issue.

I couldn’t find basketball shoes for my daughter at a reasonable price so I got her these volleyball shoes. They are just what she needs for traction and comfort!

The first thing I noticed when putting on the Nike Air Zoom Vomero 16 was how light they are! They’re a great balance between lightweight and support in the sole. I especially liked the way it supports the heel when running.

It would be perfect for runners who strike at the heel. There is an almost cup-like support with each step that I’ve never felt in any other running shoe. The design is cute, and I would be happy to wear them out running errands before going to exercise.

The neutral-blush color is attractive without being loud, and the straight-across laces make them unique. I’m always self-conscious about my feet looking large in tennis shoes, and the design of the Vomeros doesn’t have that problem at all.

I think the shoe would be very comfortable for most people to wear all day long, but I have very wide feet. After awhile, I could feel pressure on the sides of my feet where the cage on the upper was tight.

But people with narrow or slimmer feet would have no problem. My favorite part about the shoe is the great, lightweight feel of the supportive sole. If it didn’t have the cage on the upper, it would be a perfect, stylish running shoe for me.

This shoe has lots of grip and decent cushioning for jumping/landing. My feet are medium width, toe box wasn’t too tight or loose. The arch support is moderate. They’re a little stiff out of the box but won’t be too hard to break in.

I took the suggestion from other reviewers and ordered a half size up. I’m usually an 8. 5 in regular shoes and a 9 mizuno fit perfectly. The only negative I have about the shoe is the outsole/heel area is narrower than most modern athletic shoes.

I think for over pronated/supinated feet that could be really problematic. Overall, I love this shoe and glad I got it in the hot pink :).

These shoes are lightweight but still provide great support for playing. The quality is top-notch and will last for many seasons. Order was on-time and accurate. Highly recommend Rogan’s Shoes.

This is my daughter’s 4th pair of Mizuno’s over the last few years. They are absolutely the best when it comes to volleyball, hands down. Plenty of options in style and color. This is the 2nd season with the Wave Lightning and they were durable, dependable and most of all light.

Weight was a heavy consideration when we chose this shoe. Shoe weight was recommended by her coach and former player as a deciding factor when choosing a shoe. The only reason she’s into another pair is that she already out grew the last ones.

But back for the next pair and the start of another season!.

I purchased the Zoom h2n years ago from B&H, back when it was $100 bucks. I use that zoom for recording wild sound and narration voice in my closet. Over time, the h2n started recording popping noises during moments when it was silent.

I purchased the h4n in hopes of eliminating the popping noises and it does! I’ve only used the stereo recording option (90 degrees) while recording narration and I’ve got to say, it sounds crisp and no pops.

I look forward to hearing how it records when my friend plays guitar in his group and the microphones are set to 120 degrees. The batteries are holding up in stamina mode.

The 18-55mm has basically been reviewed till it hurts. Universally this is applauded as a clear lens and can be used in almost any situation. It’s HIGHLY recommended, especially if it’s your first or only lens.

The only downside about this lens is the durability. As an enthusiast photographer who takes care of my equipment, I’m on my second 18-55 after about 100k photos with the last one. Most of my use has been outside, it saw rain and snow, and it’s taken two soft tumbles indoors on carpet.

They’re simply not built like the professional grade lenses, but that’s not a big deal since they cost SIGNIFICANTLY less than the pro grade. Use it till you loose it, then buy another or upgrade. You’ll never be disappointed with the image quality!.

My daughter has been looking for volleyball shoes for months. She’s had Mizunos and Nike. She couldn’t find one that was comfortable and not too stiff. These fit the bill and she’s very happy with them.

I also like the added ankle support without the high top feel.

These are some of the best volleyball shoes for my athlete. She has tried several brands and prefers these. She can wear them comfortably with her ankle braces. They are light but supportive.

My daughter loves these! These were meant for her to play basketball with. I was hoping for more ankle support so I’m not sore if we will keep them. They look good though.

I had my eye on these shoes in white for a while now and when they came in the mail before my high school tryouts, I was so excited. After putting them on, I noticed a few things. First off, they were pretty narrow around the middle of the foot which was good for me because I have narrow feet.

Secondly, the whole shoe wasn’t the same shade of white like I thought it would be. In the picture, the whole shoe looks snow white, but some parts are actually more cream colored or pastel yellow. (Note: this cannot be noticed from a distance and was not the reason I didn’t like these shoes) When I started moving around, my foot felt extremely secure even though the size I ordered was too big for me.

However, the white wave / trim on the outside of the shoe comes to a point right at where the pinkie toe meets the foot and digs into the foot. This causes discomfort and makes wearing these shoes pretty painful.

No matter how much I loved the look of them, I had to return them and I had no volleyball shoes for my high school tryouts.

My daughter wore these shoes for the past 2 seasons. When the shoes came this season I purchased for two different girls. They loved them out of the box. After the first wear they both were complaining of pain in their feet.

That the bottom of the shoe is just rough and hard. Both also complain of their pinky toe rubbing on the side of the shoe. After talking to other members of the team, as this was a team shoe, several or almost all of the girls are complaining of the same thing.

We loved these shoes last season but the quality has not held up to the Nike name. Typically they are the most comfortable shoes. Not this time! Nike please fix the insoles so the girls want to wear your shoes again!.

Third year in a row buying the Nike volleyball shoe. Used for Club volleyball as well as High School volleyball. While there have been teams that become tempted by certain fashions of the high top. We have always considered our front row players need to wear ankle braces.

And year in and year out these shoes always have the right size and are perfectly worn with braces when needed. They hold true and dont break down fast. I have never had a pair that have been worn out, only new pairs for each new team.

These are the most comfortable pair I have had. The coloring and pattern looks great in person and from across the court. I always look forward to my next pair. I have used other brands but I prefer Nike.

Plus I need size 14 which Nike always accommodates my size as well.

On the hunt for the BEST volleyball shoe for my open level outside hitter, I purchased these shoes, excited about the Flytefoam. Her feet are 27 cm long, normal width. I ordered her an 11. The shoe came much longer than any other size 11 shoe she’s had, and also was EXTREMELY narrow.

Looking at the shape of the shoe, it made me wonder, who’s feet are even shaped like that? We were bummed out that they weren’t going to work for her, as we were really interested in the tech of the shoe.

Unless you have a VERY narrow foot, steer clear of these! -2 stars for poor shape. Can’t speak on their performance. We ended up ordering the Gel Netburner Ballistic. Right out of the box, they have a much better shape and fit.

She could feel the gel as soon as she tried them on. Haven’t had play time yet, as we just received them yesterday. Will post a review on them after a couple weeks of play.

I bought the Asics Volley Elite like two weeks ago with high hopes! Tried them today at the volleyball training and unfortunately I am disappointed! I am always buying Asics shoes (and I love them) but this model is uncomfortable, expensive and I have feet pains even though this is my correct size.

Very sorry to give this review but, I had very high hopes from this product, paid a fortune and I got a pair of shoes I cannot use.

After playing in other major brand-named volleyball shoes for many years, I bought two pairs of Asics for a number of reasons. I like the fact that they are still roomy enough even with my orthopedic inserts.

My feet are not narrow by any means. They are borderline on the wide side. Great shoes!.

I bought these as I’ve always bought asics netball shoes. I have 2 pairs of size 6 and they fit fine but these in a size 6 are very small and feel narrower than my other pairs. They have a great grip to the sole though.

I paid £4. 99 for click and collect so I won’t be getting an exchange to pay £4. 99. It’s a shame they don’t have more netball shoes in shops.

My daughter absolutely LOVES these shoes! She was using the Gel Rocket 14s before these shoes and she said that these are way better. Specifically, she says they’re way more supportive when moving side to side, she said they never slip, and she said they roll well when getting ready to approach for a jump.

She also loves the way they look and received a lot of compliments from her teammates.

Bizarre fit. Absolutely no room for the forefoot. Unfortunately had to return. The colors were fun but I couldn’t even walk properly in them. These do not fit like any other ASICS show I’ve tried in the past.

Plus, the traction pad wasn’t my favorite; not terrible just not a design that will last very long.

I needed a stable shoe for a group fitness class at the gym. I kept turning my ankle with running shoes. This shoes offers great stability for lateral training. And good to moderate arch support as well.

Wears well. Looks cute too! This is the 2nd purchase of this same shoe since it works so well for me.

After wearing these shoes three days consecutively my right foot began to experience discomfort on the right side ball area. I was glad that I had purchased s second pair of shoes, because I can’t wear them daily as the review indicates( there was not a “less than daily” option).

Received yesterday. This Court Zoom NXT is much better than Vapor react nxt or vapor pro. I always had issue with upper of those shoes. Both vapor pro and vapor react nxt has hard upper and my toe and toenail was keep breaking and causing pain due to their upper design and shape.

However, I am glad that nike came back to mesh upper like Vapor X. Very breathable upper and my feet does not hurt anymore and very comfort. Also midsole zoom air unit is very plush (you may not feel plush as GP turbo since zoom nxt’s zoom air unit because they place in forefoot instead of heel) but this decision help me to quickly move around, split step, and foot work.

However heel side does not have zoom air unit and more dense foam so you may feel little hard and not soft enough. If you expect GP turbo you may disappoint because this shoe is very different from GP turbo.

I think this shoes (Court Zoom NXT) is better in performance for match. Because this shoe is very responsive, more lighter than GP turbo, more breathable than cage, and vapor nxt. Also outsole is unique waffle pattern (not herringbone patter as usual).

It grips very well on each step and I think it may more durable too. Only down side is less cushion on heel, but it is definitely worth trying. Also sizing is little bigger than regular Nike tennis shoes.

5 and X.

Vomero’s have been great over the last two iterations. Last iteration with full length zoom and react and the current with zoomx. This version with zoomx will leave you speechless. They check all the boxes.

They feel low enough to feel the ground, have a wide base, materials are very comfortable and breathable. The two shinning lights for me are the premium shoe strings and zoomx cushioning. It really doesnt get any beter for a good every day, everything shoe.

I’ll admit there are better options for speed work but these perform exceptionally well for just about all activities. They have served me well from all day walking to HIIT workouts to moderate to brisk paced runs.

Zoomx is very comfortable. Its firmly bouncy if that makes sense. And these look really good too. It really is the only shoe I want to wear. My only small gripe would be the fit. There will be a bit of heel slippage until they break in but there are additional lace holes to aid with lockdown.

This is a HOF shoe and will be really hard to out perform for the next iteration.

Growing up in the 90s and 2000s, Nike Air Force 1s were my go-to shoes in school. With that said, I have always loved them and have had many pairs over the years. They are a true classic in my opinion that will never go out of style.

I was really curious how these new Air Force 1s would compare, and they didn’t disappoint. First, I absolutely love that Nike went green with this design and incorporated recyclable and sustainable materials in this shoe.

The Crater Foam not only makes this shoe super light in comparison to the original version, but it also is attractive with color flecks that add in just the right amount of ‘pop’ throughout. These new materials not only make this shoe super light, but also increase ventilation/breathability.

If you’ve ever owned a pair in the past, you know your feet do get hot due to the leather, but with this design there has been much improved ventilation/breathability. Nike added this new nylon/mesh finish on the top front of the show, which creates this improved ventilation.

This new finish, since it isn’t the classic leather, doesn’t crease either 🙂 I really love this upgrade – think it’s my favorite part about the shoe. If you’ve ever owned a pair of classic Air Force 1s, you know you’ve cringed when you developed a crease in your new kicks.

So, definitely a super nice touch with this change! There is also a little shine/glitter in the nylon/mesh which I thought was a really cute touch as well — Might just be the material itself, but I appreciate those little details 🙂 These shoes are also super comfortable and not as stiff as the originals.

I would say overall, with this new design, there is an improved comfort I felt when wearing them. My only complaint, is I feel like sizing runs a little big in my opinion. Due to this, I wasn’t able to really get a good grip on fit and feel while walking/exercising since mine were about a half size too big.

I did also develop a blister on the back of one ankle after a couple mile walk around my neighborhood. I doubt this would have happened, if they were the correct size, as I’ve never had this happen with any previous pairs I’ve owned.

I typically wear an 8-8. 5 in Nike Air Force 1s depending on fit, so I went with the 8. 5 this time and it was a little too big. So, if you are like me, and can wear one or two sizes depending on fit, I’d highly recommend going into a store and trying them on before buying.

Another thought, if you like them a little big, be sure to wear high socks, which should help to prevent blisters. My husband also liked the look and feel of these shoes, so I think Nike could’ve marketed these as unisex, rather than only as a woman’s shoe.

Regardless, this doesn’t detract from the shoe itself, just wanted to point that out since men may be interested in these as well. Overall, I think the design and new features Nike has added to this shoe are definitely an upgrade in comfort, ventilation, and sustainability! Nike has definitely succeeded in upgrading a classic, while still keeping the look that we all love about Air Force 1s.
