14 Best Outdoor Solar Lights With Remote Control (2022 Updated)

Bought this lamp 11 days ago. Installed it and had it charged for 3 days. Light works, be it On or Auto. However, the remote does not work. Changed the battery twice already with newer ones and it still does not work.

Tried it on settings both the ON and Auto settings. Even stood up on the table to point it directly at the receiver. remote still does not turn it off when set to ON; nor does the remote turn it on when set to AUTO.

Will gladly add an two extra star if I can get the remote working. Thanks.

Nice light. It will be used in a shop. Remote controls are junk. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t. No rhyme, or reason. We will see how long the lights last. Thank you, China.

Lasted 3 weeks at very minimal use. 2 of 4 leds burned out. I called the manufacturers service department and was told this model has a problem with the led diodes. He said I could ship it to them at my own expense or return it for free to Home Depot (DUH).

Why do they sell this junk? Charge $20. 00 more and use quality parts.

This is the best! I’ve ordered other solar powered motion sensor lights and this one is brighter than any I have. The motion sensor had a great range. Very happy with this purchase!

Not had these lights very long but we are pleased they are bright and the beam gives a good coverage nice sturdy construction so we are hoping they will last the winter cant say what would happen months on, weather and lack of day light! But impressed so far.

I bought 8 of this to have em around the house , very poor lighting but this is not the main problem , unless you have in a straight spot to the sun all day otherwise you don’t get any lighting in the night time.

Saburr Tooth is cheaper in cost than Kutzall And I like the way it cuts better than Kutzall I recommend Saburr Tooth over any grinding burr

These pathway lights are extremely well made. They are very sturdy and also attractive. The stakes are very thick and easy to put together. The lights are very bright at night after I had charged them for the 2 days like it said.

I put one on each side of my stair case and it lights up my stairs going down. I put 3 on one side and had the middle one on flame. I love the flame look and it is also bright. These are the best path lights I have ever seen.

I would recommend them for safety and the amount of light that they give off. People have commented how nice they look from the street.

These are the coolest outdoor solar lights I’ve ever seen. To be specific they are the Solar Power Pathway Lights in Black with 2 Modes 21 Lumen LED Landscape Path Lights with Remote Control. They come in a set of 4 and are so versatile with two different lighting modes to suit your moods.

They have a regular bright white light mode which is really nice and illuminates its surroundings well. Then you can put them into the “flame” mode where they flicker like a candle flame, and they create such a dramatic ambiance.

We put ours out on our patio table under our umbrella at night in the flickering flame mode and it’s just the coolest thing. They can be set on the deck railings or on tabletops or you can use the stakes that come with them to put them out in your yard if you like.

I’m pretty much keeping them up on the deck for now because that’s where we are using them constantly. They have a switch to make them flame, regular LED and turn them off. There are a great number of uses for these solar lights, I will be mainly using them to illuminate my pathway in front of my home. I have also used these at an outdoor event with the flame mode and they really set a nice ambient mood, they were lovely.

I’m also planning on using these solar lights for camping trips. They are bright and offer a good source of illumination to meet my needs. The remote control adds a ton of convenience. The lights needed to be charged under direct sunlight before using them for the first time.

You have the option to turn the lights off when they are not in use by the switch fixated on the lights or by using the remote. It is recommended in the instructions that the lights not be used during the cold winter months with freezing temperatures.

Buying this solar street light is one of the best decisions I have ever made. It was very easy to set up and gives so much light once nightfalls. We have a random pole in our backyard. I believe it used to hold a clothesline at one point but ee no longer use it.

It worked as the perfect base for this street light. My favorite part of solar is as long as you choose a sunny location the light will shine faithfully every night. They are maintenance free and require no additional effort but provide hours of light.

Our backyard gets so dark and I have a dog. We had a few instances with animals like bunnies and possums coming in the yard and My pup would chase them when she went out. Since having this light I havent noticed and wild animals which is great as I dont want my pup to hurt anything or vice versa.

The light comes in a few pieces but is pretty easy to put together and install. I am not very mechanically inclined and I was able to do it in about 20 minutes. The directions are clear and they include all the hardware needed to get this light up and shining.

Now mind you I have not yet seen how well they work for me through the winter. However I have had a notoriously strange spring, summer, early fall. They have made it through two wind storms one hurricane and a awful lot of rain.

They have a great charge cycle and will charge even in overcast conditions. A full day of sun keeps them running more than a few nights. Their mounting hardware is sturdy and are packed already with several mounting methods.

I have the first two I purchased mounted for my out-buildings, we loose power frequently and running any power for them from the generators can push my gennie to it top load which runs down the fuel.

These two have convinced me to order more.

I needed a way to add lights at the back of my yard to be able to see my dogs at night when they go out, without having to run electricity all the way out there. These lights were exactly what I was looking for.

The two of them together light up the yard perfectly. The biggest problem I had was finding a pole to mount them to. The manufacturer recommends a height of at least 16 feet. Finding a pole that high turned out to be impossible locally, and ordering one online was way too expensive.

I ended up settling on a 10 foot threaded pipe. I figured if 10 feet wasn t high enough, I could add another 5 or 10 ft pipe. 10 ft turned out to work fine for me and what I wanted. I did have to modify the brackets and use some U-bolts since the pipe was too small in diameter for the bracket.

The lights themselves are plenty bright enough, and so far have worked all night on the dusk til dawn setting (Auto). I ll update if the lights fail or if any changes.

This light is great. We put it in a shed that has no electricity. So easy to set up. Light gives great light and the remote makes it even better.

Appreciate all solar lighting. This needs a longer “charge” in the sun to work well. Hit and miss. Option to hang is great. Solar light when working is blue tone color not true white or warm white. Also good to know – the solar panel charges thru glass window.

This is a small solar light that has three level of illumination. Come with solar panel for charging. Light can be used for hours without charging. It is small, maybe 5 inches in diameter. The casing is plastic and I imagine over time it will crack being exposed to sun for charging purposes frequently.

I would prefer this to be brighter and would not consider it a good reading light, but for sitting around and shouting the breeze it is great.

I have bought four of these solar lights. My son-in-laws love these lights. They hang their solar lights on their patio umbrellas and grill at night. They don’t have to grill in the dark anymore; now they can see everything while grilling.

We absolutely LOVE them!.

The online description says it’s for outdoor use, but once we got it out of the box we discovered that it shouldn’t be exposed to any weather so it’s not good for any place other than a solid covered patio.

Not good for a fabric topped gazebo where it might get wet. Great source of light, but bummed that we can’t leave it up full time.

I bought 2. One for the gazebo and one for the storage shed. The Lighting is great for the gazebo but not bright enough for an outdoor storage building 10×16. Effortless to install. The power cord is too short imo.

Should be a few feet longer. Great light for the right application.

I purchased mine about 90 days ago. Placed the solar panel on top of my hard-top gazebo. Sensor and light are hanging from ceiling of gazebo, totally protected from rain. The unit has stopped working.

Although they say it’s for a pergola or gazebo. The solar panel is not designed for the elements.

I absolutely love these pathway lights! I love that they have a remote, although I do wish it came with a holder of some sort to keep better track of it. I think the option to switch between the white light ( which is amazingly bright) and the flame ( which is beautiful) is great.

my favorite feature though has to be that they are solar powered! You can turn them on and leave them on, and once the sun sets they come on automatically! I received many compliments from visitors and will likely purchase another set.

We purchased this to provide light in an area that was going to cost quite a bit to get electrical to the location. I fell in love with this light from the pictures and I was not disappointed. It is well built, installed easily and actually worked the first night installed with only about 3 hours before dusk.

I was really hesitant to move to solar I have had bad experiences in the past with failures where the bulbs burned out quickly, didn’t work out of the box or would not take enough charge to stay on more than a couple of hours.

This was a leap of faith for me but for $300 versus $3000 to pull electrical I didn’t have to think long. So far I am impressed and pleased with the light’s performance.

The PROS: It appears to be well-made. I like having the option of the LOW or High illumination setting or even the OFF switch. I like the large solar panel on the top. I like the shape of the bulb. The lamp itself is a great piece! The CONS: It turns out that I have a 4-inch diameter pole instead of 3 inches so I cannot mount it where I needed it.

I can only hope I’m able to find a 4-inch to 3-inch reduction piece to mount it. It comes with a wall-mount but that won’t work where I need it. So, I have a nice solar lamp. unmounted!.

final installed the two lamp post. installations was easy. waiting for night time to see the light at work. installed on the ground was easy. if I had a good camera I would take a picture for you. Looks great in the day.

I have a light on the post along the driveway two on the gate and three more on a fence post 10ft high one on the mail box. one more in the back yard. the imperil II light is better than all the security lights.

If you do not have shade problem.

This patio solar powered pendant light is incredible. I had no idea that solar lights were this advanced and stylish. Out of the box, the pendant light was fully put together and ready to be fully charged; the light actually came pre-charged and I was able to test out the brightness prior to installing it.

The brightness of this light is superb, and the instructions were easy to follow to install. I recommend allowing the solar panel to fully charge to get maximum use out of the light in the evening prior to using it.

I have added this lantern shade patio solar pendant light on my patio shade. It comes with the hook that easily hang this light. It has extended wire that can adjust based on the sunny area to charge it properly.

The color looks little bit different than actual picture. It is look much better in real and it also comes with led bulb. During the night time, it makes different pattern based on the pendant light design.

Overall, It is good design for the pendant light and perfect for the patio decoration. We really enjoy it.

I absolutely love this woven Lantern shade solar powered pendant light. It is so stylish and makes a great accessory and also adds a lot of light. I live in the Northeast so it gets dark pretty early right now and it still collect enough solar power that’s a light is on for a few hours.

I love that it has a remote control which is really awesome feature. The design is very stylish as I decorate modern and I think it gives it the look of comfy and cozy yet modern. I highly recommend you get one for your patio and any other areas that you want to dress up.

Lamp heads and their attachment to the post all fit extremely well and was easy to assemble. It appears to be made of the highest quality materials and I expect it to withstand the test of time. Also, prior to purchase I was apprehensive as to the amount light from the GS solar light bulbs.

But, the first night after instillation the luminosity was more than satisfactory on the low setting and maintained that level until morning. Excellent product… Harold Fisher.

The lamp posts are as beautiful as they look in the picture. However, the light output does not look like what depicted in the picture with an even, soft glow. Actual light output has shawdowed lines from the beveled glass.

not a bad thing, just not what depicted. Everything assembled smoothly and seems sturdy, except for where the second section of the post attaches to the lowest section of the post, using 3 tiny screws (relative to other joints).

That joint seems to be the weakest link of the entire structure. Lights stayed up all night on high beyond expectation. Output is sufficient for its purpose as an ambient light source. Overall happy with it, and planning on buying 2 more with this same Outdoor Solar Store.

Oh, and delivery was fast and met expectation.

I purchased 3 3 head Victoria pole lights to match a wonderful previous purchase. Wonderful is no longer a usable word, the Allen wrench supplied was the wrong size & the soft metal screws that hold the head to the pole we’re not tapped correctly.

The nuts that are provided that also hold the heads to the pole are a IMPOSSIBILITY to attach. 😡.

I absolutely love my solar mushroom light! Does exactly what I expected. It comes on automatically every night to the last used setting (fave is colour change smooth) and flows beautifully in our garden.

We had no lights outside our house and made stepping outdoors at night a bit scary but the glow from the light is enough so that we can see. We even managed to eat dinner around it, it’s quite bright.

We bought Monty the Mushroom as a companion for Colin (the cactus). These are just wonderful. The quality is excellent, they are solid, robust pieces. They work straight out of the box (just press the on button and you’re good to go) and with the options of white, single colour or alternating colours, are perfect for whatever you may need.

The colours are strong without glaring and every time we look at them they bring a smile to our faces. Thoroughly recommended.

Bought this plus the set of little mushrooms to go under a tree. Very pleased with how they work and how they look. The big mushroom does need to charge in full light (not under the tree) so I just move it to a sunny spot in the garden during the day.
