My monitor came with a very noticeable blue stuck pixel at the top of the screen unfortunately, will be exchanging. Aside from that, the monitor has a basic tilt stand. There’s a 2″ metal piece that sticks out of the back where you attach the stand to, it’s not removable.

If you’re mounting this to a wall. It may pose a problem, so plan accordingly. It did not affect desk mounting however. Out of the box picture quality was pretty bad. I found the Gamma to be a little on the dark side.

However once adjusted to my liking, it’s good. Menus are navigated with a Joystick located at the bottom middle of display. It works well, although I wish their were additional custom hot key buttons beside it, as accessing basic functions like brightness requires a few extra clicks.

There’s only one fully custom picture profile that can be saved as well. No speakers, but there’s a headphone jack to connect to external speakers. With the ability to adjust volume/mute with the displays analog button.

I like that the monitor can get bright enough to handle an overhead light above me. It can also get very dim within a dark room which is great, because other monitors I’ve tried were very bright even at their lowest brightness/contrast setting.

It does not auto switch inputs, a prompt will come up on the screen if you wish to switch to a connected input, where you must click the button to confirm. Picture quality is decent, I do find this monitor a little more pixelated than other 1080p 27″ displays I’ve tried.

It’s by no means unusable, just slightly worse. Text on documents decent too, I lowered the sharpness a bit to make it easier to read. Color is ok too, it doesn’t pop as much as my more expensive monitors, but it does look good at this price point.

Has the typical IPS glow, no backlight bleed on my unit. I tried gaming on PS4, and input lag is good. Although not as low as my dedicated gaming monitor. Still better than most TVs input lag though.

I did find motion blur during gaming to be a bit more noticeable on this display as well. But totally playable otherwise. One of the perks this monitor has for gaming is it has adjustable Gamma & Black equalizer.

I was successfully able to crush black shadows to gain an edge playing FPS games, while still retaining a good picture quality. Very nice to have at this price point, which is usually more exclusive to gaming monitors.

Overall for a budget monitor I recommend this at a good sale price. I got mine during Black Friday for $170+Tax. At the $200 occasional sale price tag it’s still worth considering. Anymore than that I would consider other monitors.

If you’re looking for a better picture quality monitor for just a little more money, you can consider the BenQ EW2780. I own this monitor, and I find the colors pop and overall looks better. Although, the LG has that black equalizer where the BenQ doesn’t.

Depends on your intended usage purpose. Both are good choices. While I’m changing picture settings frequently depending on usage. I’ll post my main middle ground go to that suits my room lighting, however increase brightness if your room requires.

Its almost borderless frame gives it a bezleless look. IPS display has gorgeous 1080p FULL HD visuals. It is a matte finish all round, including the screen, which people say defeats the purpose of an IPS screen because it has to be glossy, however, if you want a glossier looking screen, you can use LGs onscreen software to increase the brightness and activate ultra visual mode, which enhances the pixels on the screen and emboldens them, giving your screensaver a glossy look.

Why is this beneficial You get best of both worlds. A matte screen with anti glare, meaning that the light wont hurt your eyes as much as a glossy screen would, while having the benefit of ultra looking graphics.

trust me, if you have trouble looking at screens for too long, you will notice the difference and you wont get tired staring at the screen like you would with a glossy one. It has many on screen features such as gaming mode, cinema mode, reader mode which adjusts the screen brightnesscolour to match the environment of said modes.

After rocking a Dell E198WFP Monitor to extend my desktop for the last 17 years, I thought it was about time for an upgrade. 22 was an ideal size for my small slim desk. After lots of searching the LG FHD 22MK600M seemed to fit the bill.

It had a great design and very good colour output accuracy. As soon as it was back in stock, I snapped one up. Upon arrival, the monitor was carefully assembled and it was up and running in no time. One thing to note, that instead of the usual IEC kettle lead to power the monitor it came with a brick adapter.

It did look great, some sample movies and you tube videos looked really good on the display. However, after testing the monitor carefully with several test card patterns, a few defects began to be noticeable.

1. Vertical line pixilation on the colour blueAlthough it doesnt affect any other colours it is very noticeable on blue colours. I do some photo editing, so this can become a problem for me. For the more causal user it may be ok.

2. Back light bleedThis was the nail in the coffin for me. When the monitor displays a dark black screen, light bleed is evident on the lower left section of the display. There were also other light bleeds around the monitor.

However the lower left section was absolutely horrendous. Dark scenes within films or videos looked awful. There was no doubt in my mind, the monitor was being returned. Very disappointed. The monitor isnt cheap and I expected more from this brand.

With the above defects, it does question how it passed final testIf the monitor was half the cost, then perhaps I could have lived with it, but in this day and age you would expect products to pass the basics of quality control.

On a positive note, It is a nice monitor. The design it was drew me to this model. I love the design of the stand and bezel less display frame. The display clarity and output is overall very good indeed.

What a pity. I will be reverting back to my Dell E198WFP monitor.

The monitor (purchased in January of 2021) produces a great-looking image when it works. Periodically, when the monitor has been off for a while and is turned back on, the screen will remain almost completely dark.

If I attempt to tab through open programs, the darkness level will change slightly from program to program. Turning the monitor off and disconnecting the cables for a few minutes will sometimes correct the problem.

The instructions suggest that with the monitor plugged in and the cables disconnected, a diagnostic feature in the monitor will be activated. This feature does not appear until after the monitor is working normally again.

I should mention that I do not use any Sleep features on these computers, but I do use screen-saver features. I disabled the monitor’s sleep feature to see if that might make a difference and it did not.

Dell’s website stated that if purchased at Best Buy, the monitor would need top be brought back there. As I did not purchase any type of extended warranty service, the Ocala, Florida Geek Squad (who were extremely helpful, by the way) wasn’t able to assist me directly, but they did provide me information for how to get in contact with Dell.

I contacted Dell’s customer service department via their chat feature. I described the screen darkness issues to the technician; as I use the monitor with both a Mac and a PC and he recommended that a Windows driver and Mac firmware update be downloaded and installed on the appropriate computers.

After the firmware and Windows driver were installed, I was still experiencing the same issues. I went as far as changing how the Mac and the PC were hooked up to the monitor to see if that would make any difference, and it did not.

I reached back out to tech-support, and informed them that everything has been installed but I was still experiencing the same issues. Tech-support told me that I would need to need to contact Mac support because the monitor was working properly.

I’m not exactly sure how they came to that conclusion but the Dell monitor continues to not work properly. I’m pretty sure that the issue is with the Dell monitor itself; I have an older LG monitor which was going to be replaced by the Dell.

On a few occasions when this has occurred, I’ve immediately disconnected everything from the the Dell monitor and hooked it up to my old LG monitor. The LG monitor works fine… no irregularities with the picture.

This monitor works well for me. I work primarily in spreadsheets and in terminal windows at the command prompt. First the pros. I can see all the columns on most spreadsheets without scrolling. No problems shifting computer input to the next.

Easy to display multiple documents on a single screen. I wish I’d gotten a larger monitor sooner. Cons. Although my Linux laptop displays properly there’s no management software. The windows display management application has limited locations for PBP or PIP.

If those locations and tile sizes dont fit your workflow you”re stuck because you cant change them. I don’t use Windows enough to have an opinion about the templates to arrange windows on a desktop. The advertising copy about the monitor makes it sound like you can drag documents from one computer to another, but its not obvious how it works and undocumented (or I’ve missed it in the documentation.

) I hoped to get down to a single monitor for work, but the minimal Linux support and inflexibility of the PIP/PBP templates killed that dream. I’ve defaulted to simply treating this like a normal monitor with a kvm and swapping inputs between my primary & tertiary work machines with the secondary laptop on a separate monitor.

If you work entirely in Windows and the PIP/PBP templates mesh with your workflow you’ll probably like this monitor. If you work primarily in Linix it’s still a nice monitor, but if you already have a KVM it may not be the monitor for you.

True to its name, this monitor is sharp – the image is crisp and clear, colors are accurate, and input lag is acceptable, meaning it checks all the boxes for being a usable monitor. It was recognized quickly and easily via Thunderbolt, both on a Dell and non-Dell laptop, and everything that I’ve plugged into it has been recognized (although to get the LAN connection to work, it did require a relatively recent Windows update).

The picture-in-picture capability, though I haven’t had much call to use it, is also fairly unique, and adds versatility to the monitor. The only thing holding this monitor back is port placement. Although there are certainly enough USB-A and C ports for most needs.

when sitting in front of and actually using the monitor, only one of each is easily accessible – and they still have to be found by touch, being underneath it. If more ports are required, it means going behind the monitor, or having to lift and turn it, to access the others.

If you use them for mouse/keyboard/webcam, it isn’t much of an issue, but if you need them for anything else, it is rather inconvenient, and somewhat against the grain of a hub. Even if it means sacrificing the minimalist bezel, I would have rather had a few type A or C ports available at the front, or even the sides of the monitor.

Attaching a small USB hub to the bottom port would alleviate the problem of inaccessibility, but anything that adds additional ports is specifically discouraged in the user manual (likely because of TB3 bandwidth limitations).

Short extenders would also work, but that would only add to the clutter a setup like this is intended to minimize. A good monitor, and a decent hub, all things considered, but perhaps not necessarily as convenient as a separate monitor and dock.

The presence of a KVM switch and 90-watt USB-C charging got me to look at this monitor and the great colors and impressive black contrast (for an IPS monitor) sold me on it. With my current work from home situation I needed a monitor solution that could run and charge my Dell work laptop while allowing me to effectively use my M1 Mac mini without much effort (i.

e. unplugging the work laptop and keyboard to use my personal computer). Dell’s KVM solution and 90-watt power passthrough works perfectly in addressing these needs. The colors this monitor produces seem great to me.

While having a matt display finish vs glossy took this 10 year iMAC user some time to get used to, I think the overall picture quality is very good. Colors appear accurate and the black/contrast levels seem better than other IPS displays I considered.

While there is IPS glow at times when watching a video during a mostly black scene in a completely dark room (e. g. movie credits), it is nowhere to be found when using just a small desk light during late night tasks.

The unit I received does have very faint instances of light bleed at the very bottom in three (3) locations, again only noticeable when watching video in a completely dark room. Ports, having as decent amount of USB-C ports is a great feature even though just one more USB – C port would’ve been awesome.

Having been a Dell monitor user at work for many years I appreciate this monitor’s joystick control in the back more than I imagined as it makes monitor adjustments that much easier to accomplish. Lastly, the absence of “in your face” branding is a nice touch over previous monitors and really highlights that picture quality is front and center here.

Overall, I am pleased with the monitor and I am glad I switched my original order to this new release while waiting for an older model to be completed.

I purchased the Dell UltraSharp 27 4K USB-C Hub Monitor after hours of reviewing specifications and reviews of other monitors. It has proven to have been a good decision, as the built-in hub works well to link all of the devices that I would have had to connect with an external dock and does so more elegantly than would be possible with and external dock.

The quality of image with this monitor is superb: it provides clear and sharp text and impressive detail in video. I find that my eyes really do not tire after extended use: this is remarkable and is a first in my experience, unlike that of any other of the many monitors that I have used previously.

I like the simplicity of the onboard display controls and learned to use them comfortably within a couple of days of setting up the monitor. If I were to have just two wishes to improve the utility of the monitor, they would be having some sort of a legend to the ports that could be flipped down from the bottom of the monitor case to identify the position and type of ports of the hub, and, a standard adjustable screw mount at the top of the monitor to affix a webcam.

The webcam mount is needed because the upper bezel of the monitor is too thin for clamping a standard webcam without partly obscuring the screen and the back of the monitor case is beveled which is unlikely to provide stable clamping of a webcam.

Time from unboxing to using the monitor was minimal as the package and instruction was well designed. I like the Dell UltraSharp 27 4K USB-C Hub Monitor – U2723QE more each day I use it!.

For a $150 1080p 27″” monitor, this gets a lot of things right. Just be aware that the motion sync feature can cause major eyestrain. Pros: Good color quality Sleek design with very thin bezels Matte coating that reduces reflections HDMI cable included Lots of OSD options (with configurable profiles) Freesync (reduces tearing in games) Motion sync backlight strobing.

This is usually reserved for 144Hz+ gaming monitors, but it is here, albeit gimped. Cons: Non height-adjustable stand (passable for price) OSD can be clunky to switch profiles. For some reason, ASUS includes two “”shortcut”” buttons (default is brightness and blue light filter), but does not let you use those shortcuts to switch profiles.

You can however use it to switch from different presets (with splendid), but not saved profiles. This seems like an oversight to me, because instead of just two clicks to change profiles, you have to do much closer to 4 clicks.

I think ASUS should have at least given the option to use the shortcuts to switch profiles. Motion Sync is a nice addition, but not as good as actual 144Hz panel (as it should be), and it can cause eyestrain.

I have attatched some images of (approximately) what it looks like when it is enabled, but note that the double images get worse near the top and bottom of the screen. The double images are pretty bad, but in games, I didn’t notice it that much.

However, I did get eyestrain after about 15 minutes of gaming with the mode enabled because of the inherent strobing, even after having the monitor for a few days and trying to adjust to the strobing.

Overall, I’m happy that ASUS included the option at all, but just know that the “”1MS MPRT”” marketing point is only valid with motion sync on which has all the aforementioned problems. The lowered brightness of the mode doesn’t bother me nearly as much as the eyestrain and double images though.

If you want a gaming monitor with hardware that can drive it (next gen console, gaming computer), I highly recommend just spending a little more for a 144Hz monitor, as this is priced at $150. Conclusion: This monitor is great for normal use.

It’s okay for gaming, but at a $150 MSRP, I’d recommend spending a bit more for a proper gaming monitor with actual 1MS response times and 144Hz refresh rates.

The display has two USB2 Type-A jacks on the back (with an included USB A-to-B cable to connect to the computer). However, the jacks face downward from the middle of the back cover, so they’re nearly impossible to reach or plug anything into them without flipping the whole monitor onto its face first.

These won’t be jacks that are more convenient to use for temporarily plugging in a flash drive. OTOH, they work fine for semi-permanently plugging in an external USB webcam. Warning: the label on the shipping box is wrong.

It identifies the VA27DQSB as a 1920×1200 TFT monitor. Most people think of TFT as the inferior TN-TFT, which changes color and brightness when viewed off axis. IPS is a superior technology, and does not have those deficiencies.

After examination, I confirmed the monitor is indeed a 1920×1080 IPS display, not a 1920×1200 TN-TFT display.

I had my doubts at first. But I’ll be darned with how impressed I am with this monitor. I am building out a desk that gives me the ability to both sit and stand. I bought this monitor mainly on price.

I know that Asus is good, quality wise. But I was just skeptical about the size and whether or not it would hurt my eyes. Overall, I made the right choice and will be purchasing a second one sooner than later.

It’s a matte screen that can really absorb ambient and almost direct lighting with minimal glare. The refresh rate is fine for my needs as is the clarity at 1080p. ? Slim bezels, except for the bottom(labeling).

Brightness & bluelight filtering options. Mountable (plate not included) ? No sound (I knew it going in, have speakers/soundbar available) Few ports (Might want to invest in a universal hub) On/off button doubles as options toggle That bottom bezel irks me.

All in all a nice, safe, quality purchase!.

I decided that it was time to upgrade my Dell P2715Q 8bit+FRC for a true 10bit display, so I bought the LG 27BL85U-W. It’s pretty good so far, but there are far too many settings that prevent me from understanding what the baseline photo-editing default really is.

From built-in black compensation to an apparent 2. 2 gamma setting as default 2 the language and menus are confusing and answers are not easy to come by. I was hoping for an out-of-the-box upgrade solution for my Lightroom Classic CC workflow, but I’ve spent more time messing with the endless settings rather than getting to work on photo editing.

As someone who has to routinely deliver upwards of 1200 color-corrected photos weekly, I’m a bit disappointed with my experience. It really does seem like a good monitor, but it’s not clear whether ‘game mode’ is constantly ‘on’ or whether my applications are overriding this setting.

I’m going back to my simple, factory-calibrated Dell for the time being.

I purchased this monitor for my MacBook Pro. Truth be told, the image quality is not *quite* as sharp as it is on my Mac, however, the clarity / colors are very good! The bigger screen size is a huge help, and the adjustable screen hight / angle will make my setup much more ergonomic.

Super easy to set up, only took a few minutes to figure it out and works very well with the Mac. So far I am finding this to be a great value and would buy again. B&H had the best pricing anywhere for this model at the time of purchase, and the delivery was quick.

Everything arrived in great shape. They were great to order from.

Works well. I liked the design and has adequate picture quality. Note that compared with my Retina 4k screen on my iMac it is not as sharp. However, 24″ UHF screens are rare and the only one I saw was 5 times the price of this one.

Pros: I bought this monitor for work purposes and I must say the quality of the picture is great and gives clear views from all the angles. The monitor itself is really stylish, modern, and ultra-slim.

The monitor is easy to set up and comes with clear instructions easy to understand. Another thing I like about this monitor is that even after a long day at work my eyes don’t feel fatigued or irritated.

The only downside I think is that you cant adjust the height and also the fact that it doesn’t have speakers. However, the screen is Tiltable. Overall, I am happy with my monitor and it’s a great addition to my workspace.

Cons: I wish this monitor came with a built-in speaker and that the height could be adjustable to give a more comfortable working position.

I was in need of a monitor this size as my 32″ was doing way too much flickering to my liking, even after setting and resetting. Was very pleased to receive this Element brand 27″ IPS LED Full HD frameless monitor.

Being just a 1080P FHD and not 4K I was unsure how the screen would look with my new 4K Mac Mini. In the instruction booklet there is no mention of compatibility with Macs – just Windows OS. I was sure hoping it would be okay and better than what I was using.

Unpacking was fairly easy. A nice illustrated instruction manual was enclosed that walked me through putting the sleek center stand together. There are small rubber pieces on the bottom of the 3 feet to help keep it from any slippage.

There is one screw to attach the feet to the stand and 4 screws to attach it to the back of the monitor. You want to attach the straight back piece to the monitor FIRST before you add the feet. Then there is a square plastic piece that fits over the 4 screws area for cosmetic purposes.

Nothing bulky at all about this stand but I found it very sturdy. I was also immediately impressed by the almost frameless design – no unsightly frame that takes up screen space! There was also an HDMI cord included and a nice one might I add with filters on each end.

Right out of the box the picture looked great using the HDMI cord. I did not try the VGA as I don’t have a computer that uses VGA anymore. I found no worries about it not working with my Mac – no problems whatsoever.

There is a round button on the lower right back corner that is your power and also the OSD which opens up your options for adjustments. This button is the reason I gave the monitor 4 stars instead of 5.

I got it to open the OSD properly but I couldn’t get it to let me adjust the settings and I accidentally kept turning the monitor off in the process of trying. I would move it up and to each side and I could scroll the OSD settings but then trying to actually get one on the monitor was not working for me.

I am not sure what the problem is but I feel Element should change the design of this and have a power button separate from the OSD button. The manual does not really tell you whether to push up, down or sideways to get to the different settings.

I kept trying to not push IN on the button because that would shut the monitor off. Just my personal opinion but I found it difficult to navigate and some of the settings are only available if you are using a VGA input which is explained in the manual.

Even though the manual mentions a speaker adjustment the speakers don’t seem to be included on this model as I found no way to access them. Perhaps my mistake? I have a small Bose speaker that I use anyway so that was not an issue for me but it would be nice to know if there actually are speakers inside.

The highest HDMI resolution is 1920×1080 and the refresh rate is 75 HZ then has increments going down to the lowest of 640×480 and 3 HZ. Identical settings for the VGA input. At any rate the picture is absolutely fabulous on this monitor and that’s what really counts.

I do a lot of photo processing and I love the large 27″ size (which fit perfectly on my desk) and the screen is VERY easy on the eyes. Crystal clear images. I watched a number of You Tube videos, a movie and of course did my work and all looked excellent.

I will definitely recommend this monitor but hope in future models they redesign the OSD settings button so it’s easier to manage or explain how to properly use better in the manual. I’m impressed, especially for the reasonable price, and it’s perfect for my home office!.

Element 27″ IPS LED 1080p Full HD Frameless Monitor EM2FPAB27B This economical large display has very narrow bezels, an IPS panel, supports a 60Hz or 75Hz refresh rate, gives a 6. 5ms response time for gamers and includes an HDMI cable in the box.

It has both HDMI and VGA video inputs. It includes a compact wide V-shaped stand which allows a small tilt function but no height adjustment. Upon unpacking the parts, the user has to carefully install 4 screws to attach the mount’s vertical post to the back of the monitor panel, followed by 1 screw to attach the vertical post to the V-shaped foot.

By the way, the supplied stand does not need be used; the back has VESA 100mm X 100mm standard threaded screw holes for using one of the wall or desk mount monitor stands. The monitor is supplied with a very small AC adapter producing 12 V DC that plugs into the bottom of the monitor with a barrel plug.

Page 8 of the supplied User Guide mentions how the volume is adjusted but it seems that in reality there are NO speakers in this monitor since using the OSD (On Screen Display) joystick on the lower back to make adjustments to the picture settings allows NO ability to enter the volume settings that page 8 discusses.

I also called Element 3 times to speak to customer support staffers regarding this. I was disconnected on the first two calls by the first 2 staffers. The 3rd CS staffer gave me a reference case number and promised I would receive a call back or an email explaining how to adjust volume but it has been 3 days and I don’t expect any response.

I believe the User Guide was edited with the wrong information regarding internal speakers and volume controls. The picture quality is very good with computer use via either the HDMI or VGA inputs. I was able to use the OSD with the finicky joystick on the lower back of the monitor to turn down the brightness and adjust the contrast to produce a superb picture.

I also connected the monitor via HDMI to our cable TV output and enjoyed the superb picture quality. No sound was heard; as stated above I don’t believe it has internal speakers. I would readily recommend this PC monitor to anyone considering it is a great basic 1920 x 1080 LED monitor at a very reasonable price as is typical of the Element brand.

I’m a software engineer and I bought this monitor to replace a 29″ ultrawide monitor + laptop screen setup. My goal was to use a single monitor with a keyboard+mouse. I am using it with a Macbook Pro.

Also I have a narrow desk (60cm). It’s a great monitor, but not a love at first sight. What would’ve made me a happy customer in order of importance: * Monitor is too tall, I would like to have proper support for rotating the monitor 90 degrees * A better monitor arm, which holds the monitor very close to the column (I had to replace it) * No speakers and therefore no bezel at the bottom My issues detailed: * When using the monitor as intended, I find it too tall.

Depending on the monitor’s position you either have to look up too high at the top of screen, or the bottom of the screen is too far away down. Same issue as curved vs flat ultrawide monitors. I personally don’t like the 16:18 ratio, I can’t recommend using it this way, unless you rarely have important content in far-away areas of the screen.

* It doesn’t support natively if you want to rotate it 90 degrees to get 18:16, which is in my opinion a much better ratio. This is basically two small 21:9 (20. 25:9 to be exact) screens on top of each other.

The HUD won’t rotate and you loose the PBP feature if you want to use the monitor with two inputs as two separate screens. I would really like LG to release a firmware update where rotation is properly supported.

* Another issue is when using the screen in 18:16, that none of the resolution settings result in a clear picture, texts are very slightly burry. (While some of the same resolutions are working well in 16:18).

This might be just a limitation of Mac OS, not sure whether Windows/Linux handles this any better. * The ergo arm is great quality, but I had to replace it as it doesn’t go far back enough (what a shame).

You will lose 15cm of your desk, while with the arm I already had this is only 5cm. On a 60cm narrow desk this matters. * I personally don’t care about the built-in speakers, I would’ve like it better if there is none and you can have maybe no bezel at the bottom.

(like e. g. the Huawei Mateview).

This monitor does a lot of things very well. It has that built-in colorimeter for calibration and does not need to be connected to a computer for it to automatically calibrate itself. The software that runs it is okay, I have some minor quibbles with it that can make it frustrating or confusing, I hope that can be ironed out over time.

I would think this monitor would be ideal for photographers with laptops, since it can charge the laptop and be used as a second screen. But, I’m a retoucher, and from my viewpoint, this monitor doesn’t cut it.

If I have two identical images up in two areas of the screen, they can appear different, so doing visual matches are tricky. I can see one side of the screen lighter and more cyan, and the other darker and reddish.

It is consistent with other screens that have problems with off-angle color reproduction. For the price, I would have thought this would have been more under control. I have several retouchers working on these and they all have the same complaint.

For some, the features this screen offers will make it just the right tool. For serious retouching, get the Eizo (if you can find one!).

The display overall is good and sharp. With the “Uniformity Compensation” feature turned on, it does test fairly uniform with DisplayCAL software and an i1 Display Pro. The downside is that if you do hardware calibration with Custom Color mode, the Gain/Offset/Hue/Saturation controls are all disabled.

Only the Brightness/Contrast can be adjusted. The CAL1/CAL2 modes automatically turn off Uniformity Compensation too. Why does the monitor have Uniformity Compensation if you can’t use it with hardware calibration? Other downsides: Dell X-Rite software hasn’t been updated since 2016.

It is also not as accurate as DisplayCAL. It also has no BT. 1886 Gamma 2. 4 for video, only Rec. 709. When adding a second UP2716D to my system, the Dell Calibration software now locks up and is unusable.

Dell has no solutions for it and I have to now use X-Rite or third party software like DisplayCAL.

After having a replacement unit sent because of back light non-uniformity on the first one, I was expecting much better. This is an $800 MSRP “professional grade” color display that comes with a factory color and luminance uniformity calibration report, but in both cases, the numbers didn’t match up with what you actually see.

The first unit had about a 2-3″ radial hot spot in one corner, a 1-2″ in another that extended along the bottom edge about 6-7″. The replacement unit only has one 2″ hot spot in the upper left corner, but it’s a defect that shouldn’t be there given Dell’s claims for the market segment of this display.

In any case, it’s still suitable for photo editing because you aren’t using the corners of the display very often in that use case. The colors do adjust very easily to match the print output of the photo lab I use and in every other regard it’s a quality monitor with lots of features, so I’ll hang onto it.

Dell’s QC process needs some work though and their product should meet their product claims, which I’m not sure it does in this case. Newegg was excellent in getting a return setup and a replacement unit sent out and answered all my questions quickly in that process.

Disappointing screen finish and color gamet. Screen is plastic – a high end monitor should be glass. A major step down from the UP2715K which had a beautiful glass screen and exceptional backlight that more faithfully reproduced highly saturated colors.

Beware, monitor is not HDR or WCG. Calibration hardware sounds like it is made of cheap plastic and will break quickly. Sometimes the display looses signal and flashes. USB hub shows up as no enumerating in windows (had this problem with the UP2715K as well seems to be a common problem with dell monitors).

The sharpness setting actually puts incorrect colors on your screen (looks like JPG compression) if you turn it above 50%. Screen is somewhat blurry at 50%. I was hoping for a lower resolution version of the UP2715K that would work better with windows and was completely disappointed.

My previous monitor was a 32″ and I was concerned about loosing 5″ of screen real estate. In retrospect it didn’t matter one bit. The Dell UltraSharp 27 4k Premier Color monitor was a very good purchase for our Long Island based boutique organic soap and cosmetic company.

I needed an outstanding monitor to provide color accuracy for our website both in terms of photography and videography needs. This morning offers both the Adobe and sRGB color spectrum and the colors are vivid and accurate.

Dynamic contrast, reproduction and construction are excellent. The mat finish is helpful in reducing glare without impeding color accuracy. Finally Dell’s warrantee is one of the best in this product space.

I have been very satisfied with this monitor. The color accuracy is amazing. I am using for photography and video editing. I also have the accessory sound bar which I also recommend. The automatic color calibration is actually fun to watch.

A drawer on the front of the monitor opens up and the calibration sensor comes out for the test all automatically so there is no interaction with the unit when this process is running – very clever.

I ordered my wife a new Mac mini. It is a much needed upgrade from her 2013 iMac. The mini needs a monitor so I went to the Dell website and selected a 27″ S2721QS monitor on sale. With much excitement I plugged in the monitor to my DELL XPS 8930 gaming computer with an Alienware 34″ monitor and 10+ year old Viewsonic monitor.

The Windows 11 Pro operating system saw the new monitor but the monitor screen reported that it could not detect an HDMI signal. Customer service convinced me to wait for the arrival of the mini with an HDMI connection and try it.

Once the mini arrived, I connected it to the new DELL monitor. NO JOY! The monitor has an interface issue. Customer service kindly issued an RMA and I returned the monitor for a refund. Having used a very powerful DELL engineering workstation at my place of employment for over 12 years and witnessing the the prompt and excellent support from DELL there, I decided to purchase a full DELL desk gaming system for home (as noted above).

I continue to enjoy the capability of my home system. For my wife’s new system, we researched the Mac mini and I researched and researched for an appropriate monitor. Since the old iMac has such a good 2K screen, I knew it was going to be hard to substitute a stand-alone monitor as good as it for less than $500.

I jumped on the sale of the DELL S2721QS monitor. I opted for a refund rather than replacement because my wife pointed out the the monitor was shipped from a return address that was from a “Returns Center.

” There was ZERO indication that this was not anything but a new piece of gear. My exhaustion from researching and the fact that the new monitor was shipped from a “processing center” caused me to have doubt about waiting to receive a replacement monitor.

My disillusionment comes from having expected the new DELL monitor to WORK. In industry and as a consumer, I know products can be DOA. I am exasperated and did not want to take the chance on a replacement S2721QS.

So right now I cannot recommend DELL to someone else even though I maybe wrong about a replacement that could work. That being said, I have had zero problems with my DELL home system and I am quite grateful to be able to have it.

I’ll start with all of the good stuff. As a $K 32 inch curved screen, this is absolutely wonderful for transforming the ‘working from home’ experience. Especially if you’ve been working on a 15 inch lap top screen, struggling with multiple documents, the tiny type size and screen clutter.

On the Dell I can open 4 documents simultaneously, and work comfortably from one to the other. It sits at a perfect height, and has sufficient angle adjustment to allow you to discover the perfect comfortable position at your desk.

All good so far. But there is a but. The time from order to delivery was just peculiarly long. Ordered in late November, it arrived over a month later. No explanations, just a very long period spent waiting.

The installation instructions are minimal, and do not help you with any of the setting up, apart from a recommendation to collect the right screen driver software from the Dell website. This also encourages you to download a monitor managing program.

Great, plug in, switch on and. it will not automatically detect an incoming 4HD signal, so looks really ropey. For a while, I genuinely thought I’d been sold a Chinese imposter/fake maching with a 720p screen.

After a lot (I mean hours) of perseverance I found a [place where I could set the screen to run in 4HD from my 4HD lap top (Dell XPS fully loaded touch screen). But in doing so I discovered that the lap top screen cannot run simultaneously.

I have tried everything, but as soon as the lap top is running in it’s native 4HD, there is no way that you can get the new monitor to also run at full resolution. If there’s anyone in Dell Customer Service reading this, and you know something that I don’t and haven’t yet discovered, please get in touch.

Despite the time spent getting to a successfully running, stunningly sharp and colour-true 32 inch monitor, it really is very good.

The panel is sharp with good and vibrant colours. Displaying coating is sufficiently decently with minimal reflection and glare, and did not make the display images grainy (to my eyes). Overall pleasant to eye and not fatiguing.

However HDR is not a strong point of this display. Maximum brightness on HDR is insignificant compare to SDR contents. On both Mac and Windows, when HDR is turned on, the colour becomes washed out, with darker contents becoming much brighter, and bright contents way too bright or even white-ish.

The biggest disappointment is the re-designed monitor. The quality is much lower than S2719HS (S-Pro), where there is significant turning tolerance between the base and the vertical stand even when fully tightened.

Missing swivel functionality. The cable maangement opening is way too small, the included power cable cannot even fit though (both ends of the cable are too big). This is simply unacceptable, the design should have included for the included accessories.

Basically, only the display connectors can be cable managed. Height adjust, pivot and rotate work well, height adjustment is very smooth. Overall a superb monitor at low price, most of its cons are understandable cost-cutting to lower the price of the monitor (so don’t buy at original price!!!), and are not deal-breakers.

The display image quality is very good (not comparing to macbook pro).

I recently started freelance editing, and was working from my laptop. which meant I was leaning over to see the screen constantly and my back was killing me! I finally decided to get a monitor–a big one so that I could view documents side-by-side if I wanted to.

This monitor is perfect for my purposes. I can’t speak to how easy it is on the eyes yet, as I’ve only used it for a couple hours at a time so far, but with this and a wireless keyboard hooked to my laptop, I basically have a desktop (which is really what I needed.

I can’t think of any cons so far. As I said, I don’t know how easy it will be on the eyes if you’re using it all day long, but for a few hours at a time it’s perfect.

I replaced another brand with ASUS because the old monitor died after two years and took up more of my desktop than I wanted. The ASUS does not have builtin speakers and has no vertical height adjustment.

But my old monitor had limit sound and was difficult to adjust the height. ASUS can be tilted and when placed on a monitor stand is just right. Very pleased with this new monitor!.

Yes, I have not an Asus Monitor before but have a very long history with all brands and types of Monitors & PC’s. I just swapped the old monitor for this one and uploaded the ASUS monitor drivers and that’s it.

My eye fatigue was gone in about 2 days and the colors are great. Very good quality & value for the reasonable price. The websites and system graphics are great. I would recommend this Monitor to anyone for any use.

I plan to upgrade my other PC and will buy this same monitor soon.

In general, this is a pretty great display with great colors. Putting it on the stand was quite easy and it doesn’t wobble. It also feels quite solid. I really enjoy the 165hz mode on games that support it.

It’s also decently bright for SDR content. As my secondary monitor, I quite love it and it quickly replaced my old TN BenQ monitor thanks to its much better display and refresh rate. However, there are some things that brings it down a notch.

If you’re looking for a display to play in HDR at 165hz, or HDR at all, then avoid this monitor or monitors around this price point. Most do not have proper dimming zones and aren’t bright enough to give you the full experience.

The most you’ll get is 10 bit color depth at 120hz, which is definitely not HDR. My LG monitor also only displays the 10 bit color depth at 165hz with no dimming zones. This is very disingenuous from all the monitor manufacturers and this HDR nonsense needs to end.

The other flaw that may affect you is back light bleed. My unit is not that bad at all but others have reported some pretty darn bad cases of back light bleed. It is worse than my LG (Photo has the LG on the left and the Gigabyte on the right) but about the same as my old BenQ TN display.

I can live with this but for the price, I was expecting close to none. The OSD is also a bit of a pain. If the screen has no image on display, the entire thing times out even if you’re in a menu and shuts off.

Annoying but not the end of the world. Overall, I would only recommend this monitor if you can find it at a discount. You can find other similar monitors at a lower price. It’s not bad at all in fact it’s pretty darn good but I think it could be a lot better.

I personally would recommend the LG 27GP83A or B over it, however you will miss out on the USB 3. 0 hub if you opt for those instead.

I received this monitor as part of a Newegg Shuffle bundle. I play the occasional game, but mostly use it for working and for audio engineering. The coil whine at 165hz and at 120hz interfere tremendously when I’m trying to work with music products.

I don’t want to have to buy headphones just isolate myself from the whine, if that would even work given the incredibly high pitch. If I wouldn’t have to return the 3070ti as well, I would have returned this monitor to Newegg a long time ago and purchased something else at a much more reasonable price.

As it is, I’m stuck with Gygabyte’s infamous customer service.

This monitor is insane. Replaced a Dell S2417DG TN panel with this IPS display and the response times feel exactly the same. I haven’t noticed any ghosting or tearing (thanks to G-Sync), which is impressive given IPS panels usually aren’t this fast.

The color accuracy is also markedly better. My unit appears to be flawless, with no noticeable backlight bleed or dead/stuck/bright pixels. As far as I can tell the backlight on my panel behaves similarly to the Dell it replaced.

Two minor gripes that aren’t dealbreakers: First: this monitor sounds like an old CRT when it’s powered on. This isn’t a huge deal for me since the noise disappears when I put on my open-back headphones.

Second: the monitor stand takes up a lot of real estate. My old monitor riser wouldn’t support the stand (riser was too narrow) Make sure you have enough room (approx. 13″ wide by 11″ deep) Other than that this monitor is awesome.

I tried three monitors in home with this being my third and final decision. I am very happy with it. I started with a 32″ 16:9 screen that I thought would be all I need. I was disappointed however that a 16:9 didn’t actually give me more screen real estate, but just made everything on my laptop screen larger.

(Yes, this was my first ever monitor purchase, total beginner here). My primary goal with this monitor is to use it with a docking station for my laptop for when I want a desktop feel/experience but using my laptop to run it all.

I then tried an ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio with 29″ screen as I thought going down a few inches but gaining the wideness would about even out. I was wrong again. The 29″ ultrawide unfortunately seemed tiny once I get used to the 32″ 16:9.

It was just so short, super wide, but really short. I got spoiled with the height of the 32″ regular screen and couldn’t be satisfied with the 29″ ultrawide which is ultimately what led me to the 34″ ultrawide 21:9 that I am reviewing here and currently run.

I love it and found that it is the ultimate size for my setup with both adequate height (just slightly shorter than the 32″ regular screen) and I love the ultrawide design. It gives me the ability to have three word documents pulled up next to each other at the same exact time while keeping the word documents to 100% view.

It really has been a game changer for me and I’d say anyone thinking of trying an ultrawide will probably never go back to a 16:9 one you try this. It also makes running Microsoft Excel amazing with all the space left and right.

I am now seeing more of my spreadsheet at full scale. It’s awesome. it also gives me the ability to have a full size word document up on the right side while having a full size Excel screen to the left so I can input data more efficiently without ever having to pan back and forth between tabs anymore.

Also the quality of this screen seems awesome. I can attest that the IPS does look quite a lot better than the VA panel now that I have tried both. Overall I give it a 5 out of 5 and highly recommend it.

I also found it is the best value in the ultrawide category as anything bigger and better than this started to get very high priced.

After 28 days of my initial purchase, I had a serious issue with this monitor. I reached out to LG for assistance and they could not resolve. I had an image from a website lock itself in place. We tried resetting, unplugging, running with no input.

Nothing worked. The image was frozen in place but appeared very similar to a QCR code image. Only way to describe it. LG said they would send a shipping label and I would have to figure out how to send or pay UPS to package, as I tossed the box.

They advised to go back to Best Buy and attempt exchange as they may except so I left monitor unplugged and figured I would head over in the AM. Next morning, I turned on to check and the image was slightly less pronounced.

I rolled the dice and left powered down another day and Sunday morning the image was gone. Very strange as this has never happened to me before and I have owned at least 20 monitors since the 80’s! I thought I dodged a bullet but now I notice the brightness tends to flicker from time to time, and when it does, it is very noticeable and distracting.

I can only hope if this thing does die, it does it within the next year so I can send to LG and get a replacement because now Best Buy will not exchange, as it’s beyond their acceptance period. Bottom line, I would seek alternative monitors, as this one has proven problematic in a short time.

I have given three stars as the monitor looks good and fits my desk space nicely. Sadly, it has less than a hundred hours in it and is not meeting my expectations. I have owned plenty of LG products, TV’s, phones, refrigerator, microwave, dual oven range.

This one falls short.

Having two monitors for the past 5 years was good. It really helped with my productivity. Went to BB to check out some TV products and got lost in the computer monitor section. My friend recommended that I should try these new ultrawide monitors so I went ahead and “investigated” what’s nice about these ultrawides.

To make the long story short, bought this LG monitor and hooked it up. 5 minutes after using it, I quickly understand what my friend meant when he recommended the LG ultrawide monitor. -Bessel was so thin, its just perfect -Full HD HDR was just super crispy -No more annoying black line in between the two monitors.

(This is the part that I love the most) For those of you who are still on the fence, just buy this monitor and test it out. Give it a shot. Most likely, you will fall in love with this monitor and will not return it.

I’ve owned and been using this monitor for 10 months now and am very pleased with it. I would definitely recommend it. I had to make minimal adjustments to color settings to get it just right but out of the box it was very good with vivid colors.

Very easy to set up and the stand is very sturdy with excellent adjustability to height. There were no dead pixels on arrival and they have been great to this day (currently using 2 side by side). IPS glow is minimal with the 2 that I have though the first one has less.

There is a big difference between IPS glow and Back Light Bleed though most don’t seem to know how that works or the difference in my experience. The only thing I would change is the price if possible as it is a bit steep compared to something like the LG GL850.

-For the cost of the monitor being what it is, I had hoped that after 3 days I wouldn’t have a picture issue, but here we are. Alas, these things happen and I’m glad I’ve received no issues on the support side.

Up until the issue, the picture quality was great and I was happy for the purchase. At the time of purchase, the firmware version out of the box was v2, current website was v4. Everything went fine with the update, and when the update was completed the quality was even better.

-I will follow up with another review once my replacement is sent to site. -(Follow up) After the replacement arrived, everything has been working as expected. Really pleased with the performance and look of the monitor.

I love this monitor. Minimal light bleed. Although, I did mention that the colors were good out of the box, I still had to suit it to my liking since I do not like too much color vibrancy. I reduced that and used the color profile for FI27Q (not -P) from rtings.

com. So far so good. No issues in games and Gsync with my Nvidia card works surprisingly well. Need to just wait and see how it performs down the line. For now its a 5/5. Note: To be on the safer side, I did purchase the LocalCover of 2 years for the monitor.

I did not want to get into the hassle of getting into shipping costs (in case I need to return/refund/Repair etc. ) especially when I see bad reviews for some monitors – which is quite likely that you could receive it with problems (could be due to shipping or bad quality control).

I initially did want to go with the Asus XG279Q, but I guess I did the right thing by purchasing this one.

If you’re looking for a monitor with excellent color reproduction and sharp texts then this is the screen for you, Asus’s engineers really built a beautiful display in the MX27AQ that will satisfy even the most demanding user.

Games look better and play very smoothly and text is crisp and easy to read. The bottom bezel gets a bit warm but if set to shutoff every few minutes this is not an issue. My only real gripe is that it wasn’t cheaper.

I would absolutely recommend this monitor. After I plugged it in and saw the quality, I immediately thought about buying a second one, which I still might do! I did a lot of research on monitors before buying this one.

Anyone who is worried, as I was, about the ‘slow’ 5ms response time, compared to some TN panels at 1ms, do not worry. I have been playing Tom Clancy: The DIvision on this monitor without any issues. Everything is smooth and beautiful!.

I love this monitor, it’s slim and just so beautiful to look at. No issues with light bleeding or dead pixels, only thing I dislike is that it’s not mountable – can be a pain for some people. It also can get quite warm along the bottom front panel.

Still though, I think the pros outweigh the cons, love this monitor and happy with my purchase ^_^.

Good monitor, but can’t get full screen. HP instructions for adjusting screensize using NVidia Control Panel show a completely different NVidia Control Panel to the one that come up on my PC. I have updated NVidia driver to the latest version, but no change to the Control Panel.

So I have to put up with a black band around my screen. Bit frustrating really.

Very good quality 4k monitor. Easy setup. Purchased 2 monitors and one was cracked at delivey. HN replaced with a new monitor within 24 hours. Very good customer service.

Pros: With Fire TV stick, good sound, brilliant picture. As PC monitor, ideal for working with several Windows on view simultaneously. Cons: MacBook connects well with cable, but not with wireless. Volume control under screen requires going through menu.

Simple thumbwheel would have been nice.

I like it, but want to point out some minor problems. The stand is not hard to attach, but check that it is firmly seated before you pick up the monitor by the stand. In my case, the stand slipped out of the mount, but fortunatly no damage.

The stand for this model does little more than hold up the monitor, no height adjustment – its what you get at the lower price point. Picture By Picture is somewhat unique to Dell Monitors, but for some reason the second source does not recognize another HDMI input for me, so I cant display the second source – it is ghosted out, and only Display Port is offered even though there is nothing attached to Display port.

For those who what to convert the Display port to a third HDMI input with an adaptor, be aware most converters are not two way. They will convert a DP output on a computer to HDMI, but they will not convert a DP input on a monitor to HDMI – at least not at full resolution.

For this you need an Active converter which needs to be powered, so research and pay close attention to what you buy. Also, any Display Port cable attached to an input has tiny barbs to hold the connector securely in place.

If If you do not push the barb release before removing the DP cable you can or will damage the port. So many people comment about bad cables because they dont know about the barbs. Its not the cable’s fault, you need to know how to release the cable.

Bought this monitor to pair with a new Mac Mini to hopefully solve a couple of problems at our graphic design firm: 1) find a less expensive alternative to all-in-one iMacs, and 2) find an easier solution than an iMac for transporting a computer between the office and home for periods of teleworking (by having a stand-alone monitor in both locations, only the small Mac mini unit needs to go back and forth).

But as a graphic designer, a large high-res monitor is vital. So far this has been great! It’s not the resolution of my previous 5K display, but I find I don’t notice. Colors are accurate. I’m appreciating the non-glare screen over the iMac, where I could sometimes see my own reflection.

Up/down/tilt capabilities do all they need to. Co-workers have been impressed and are open to this new solution. I think this may be our new path forward.

Pros: Great colours post calibration. Good black uniformity / no back light bleed (on my unit could vary). Price – on sale its a great value Cons: Typical IPS “glow”, can get distracting during dark scene.

Just an inevitable side effect of IPS + matte screen. A glossy variant could fix that but with its own drawback of having awful reflections. Poor contrast ratio. Better than most alternative but still weak.

Input Auto-detect is poorly implemented. Only scan for input once if you select that option and after that’s done the monitor lock on that input and is no longer with “auto” which defeat the whole purpose.

Overall great value if you’re looking for 27″ 4k for both work and casual gaming.

I’ve been gaming on TV’s for as long as I can remember and finally after decades I made the switch to a monitor setup and could not be happier. This monitor “hugs” your eyes and immerses you due to the curve and I never truly understood that concept until I received this.

It did take a few days for my eyes to adjust to it because at times it almost looks like you’re looking at a 3D version of what’s on your screen. I know that sentence sounds weird but if you pick this up you’ll know what I mean.

The only three “complaints” I have are the following: 1. Backlight flickering when a game is on a loading screen or when I switch between applications. That being said it has not happened to me in game at all so it doesn’t affect the overall Eggs I give this monitor.

2. For some reason this does not save the settings I set on the monitor. The monitor by default has the brightness at 100 and I prefer it around 48 due to the dark setting I’m in most the time (blackout curtains in AZ are a must lol).

The ONLY workaround I have found is that it does have 3 save “slots” for settings and it will retain the changes there but every time I turn the monitor off for the night and then back on the next day I have to go to the save slot in the settings to reapply it.

This could be user error but so far I have yet to find a fix. To me this is extremely minor and doesn’t warrant an Egg to be taken away. However it is notable as I know other people out there that would absolutely hate it.

3. Speakers are hands down the absolute worst. However, I still use them if I don’t want to wear my headset and what I’m watching doesn’t require the best audio. I didn’t even realize this had speakers until I booted up my PC and heard sound and got really confused.

People don’t buy TV’s for their built in speakers so why would I do the same with a monitor? This does not warrant an Egg being taken away, if anything I’d give them a sliver of an Egg for even putting them in lol.

The monitor does have adjustable height which is nice for all setups. The stand is wide so it doesn’t wobble at all. The stand also has what I’m assuming is a wire pass through for the ports on the back however if you were to set the monitor at its lowest point this pass through may not be as effective and seen more as a hinderance.

Who knows, maybe it isn’t a pass through and just an aesthetic feature lol. *** IMPORTANT Note: As other reviewers have noted 165hz ONLY works on Display Port (If you’re using HDMI I believe the cap is 120hz) and NVIDIA G-sync DOES work but it isn’t a “officially” supported feature and you have to turn it on manually in the NVIDIA control panel.

*** Overall I would highly recommend this monitor and if I come into the money I will be picking up a second one to have dual displays. Currently I have my PS5 and computer hooked up to it and both look stellar on it.

If a non-IPS panel isn’t a deal breaker for you and you have been having a hard time settling on a monitor do yourself a favor and buy this one.

The G27QC represents excellent value, being a 1440p screen with 165hz refresh rate at $350. I’ve been impressed with it so far – colour representation is good and contrast is great, as expected from a VA monitor.

The curve is pleasant and borders are minimal although still present (I measure them to be around 10mm from the screen edge). The UI is easy to navigate and there are loads of settings to play around with.

My criticisms are that there are significant backlight bright patches that are very noticeable in dark scenes and this is only exacerbated by the curve of the screen affecting the viewing angle. If you play more dimly lit games or watch a lot of movies you may find this to be quite distracting although the contrast between light and dark areas is still excellent.

Another issue I have with this monitor is the presence of ghosting during motion which causes a motion-blur effect – this can be very noticeable in some games like Squad. I find that this effect is particularly obvious at times when your framerate is tanking, so this will probably only be an issue if your PC can’t achieve consistently high framerates.

Overall an excellent monitor that I’m very happy with, perhaps consider other options if you play darker games or your PC isn’t up to the task of supplying this thing with over 60 frames.

I got this monitor several months ago, in an attempt to upgrade from a 24′ tn 1440p 144hz from AOC because I had gifted my buddy my old 1070ti when I upgraded to a 2080s. I wanted something bigger to enjoy my gaming on and this monitor does not disappoint in that regard.

I enjoy the deeper blacks and heavy contrast due to the ips panel. However, I found out very quickly in my limited experience with these that color bleed is an issue at sub 165hz refresh, and even then there is some ghosting.

It makes playing path of exile fairly eye straining. Other high motion games like doom eternal look fantastic though, and at the top refresh rate eliminates a lot of the issues I had playing poe. My favorite part is the nub used for navigating the menus.

It’s tactile and is much better than the small hard to see ones usually used. Now, for the odd issue I mentioned. This monitor works fine and dandy, but every. Single. Time. I turn it on, the backlights in the screen do not all come on.

Full sections of the screen are dim, but turning the monitor off and back on fixes the issue. Initially I’d have to do this several times before it worked and I’d feared I’d have to rma this product, but being somewhat lazy and not being interested in the hassle associated with it, I chose to stick it out.

Now it only ever happens on the first time I turn the monitor on, but I fear that it’ll get worse.
