A long range night vision security camera system is a CCTV system that uses one or more cameras to capture images or video of people and objects at night, from a long distance away. Reviews From Real Customers
My older model NightOwl crashed (way past the warranty) and this was the closest model suggested as a replacement/upgrade. Luckily, the wires and BNC connectors from my older system and cameras were compatible, and I didn’t have to rerun the wires through the attic for the entire system.
I just replaced the DVR and cameras, and it works like a charm. And the Bluetooth setup was very simple. As mentioned, the image quality of these cameras is amazing. Day and night images are crisp and clear.
The motion sensitivity to trigger recordings is way beyond the 100ft as advertised, even at night. I almost couldn’t give it the full 5 stars because of minor things that have NO effect on how well the system works, but it’s still enough to mention here.
The pre-recorded message scares the bajeezus out of everyone, which is awesome. But, it’s not a clear message and it’s rather garbled. I understand it’s really small speakers in the camera, but my cell phone sounds better with smaller speakers.
Also, while the spotlight works great, I’ve found no way to set it so it doesn’t activate during daylight hours. You would think since the cameras switch to night mode at sunset, the spotlight could tell the difference between night and day.
Like I said, neither of those items are deal breakers. I am very happy with my upgrade, especially with the vast improvement in image quality. With the price point on this system, you cannot go wrong.
Especially with no monthly fee, plus I can access my cameras and recordings from anywhere.
Turned out I didn’t need it! This is my 4th Night Owl system. Each generation gets easier to set-up. I upgraded to add doorbells thinking I would need a wi-fi recorder. Thought I would like the spotlight cameras, but the spotlight comes on a lot without any motion or objects in view, tried every setting available but still on off randomly.
Not a lot of adjustability (like sensitivity) as before. It is geared to use the phone app, some settings are not available on the recorder display. I have a 50″ TV on my home office wall displaying 8 cameras and wanted to add doorbells and get push notifications when someone rings the doorbell, I bought 2 doorbell cameras but when I add them to the recorder in the app the notification option for pressing the door bell goes away.
Also get constant false notifications when added to the recorder, turned off vehicle and motion, left on human/ face detection but still got constant false notifications. Uninstalled them from the recorder and just added them to the app only with just notify if the doorbell is pushed and don’t get any false notifications.
Haven’t tested the other settings installed this way but I have wired cameras covering the area already, just wanted notifications when someone rings my doorbells. If I knew this I could have just installed the doorbells and kept my old system.
For most people or first time buyers, this system would be easier to self install and set-up than previous recorders, phone app is adequate and younger would probably prefer the phone app, but for me I miss the more detailed adjustments.
Once the unit arrived, I changed out my existing cameras (unit not compatible with previous Night Owl AHD-10 unit) and tried to download the Night Owl Connect app. The app indicated that it was not available for my phone).
I preceded to set up the unit manually with no major problems. The pictures are clear but there are several problems that I wish the Night Owl rep would have told me before I purchased it. 1. The unit is only compatible with a 1080p or 4k tv (or monitor).
This required me to purchase a new tv to be able to set up the unit. Additional cost incurred – $240 2. The Night Owl connect app will not work with an Android Version earlier than 8. 0. I’m going to have to purchase a new phone as my existing phone cannot be upgrade to Android 8.
0. Still pricing new phone but expect an additional cost of $200-$400. 3. Remote viewing on my computer can only be set up with the Connect app. 4. No software is available to set up remote viewing on a computer.
While I would recommend this unit to a friend, I would also tell them about the issues listed above.

Reviews From Real Customers
The general consensus you will find online about Arlo is that their hardware is mostly good, but their software/support is terrible. My experience can confirm that. The good: Good video quality, decent battery life.
Extra battery was nice to include. The bad: 1. There is a significant video feed delay (upwards of 10 seconds in some cases) through the app and online via a browser. There was no difference when I was connected to the same network as the cameras.
This was concerning for real time notifications. When it comes to security and emergency situations, a 10 second delay is a lot and in my opinion unacceptable at this price point. This issue is not unique to me.
Just search “Arlo video delay”. Arlo says this is normal for their cloud service. Sounds like they need to invest in better back-end hardware and bandwidth. I have two cheap indoor cameras, one from TPlink and the other from Swann and neither have this issue when live viewing.
Their delay is 1 second at most. My friend has an indoor Nest camera and no/minimal delay as well. 2. It takes 5+ seconds to just connect to the camera in the app or online in the best case scenario.
So when you get a motion alert and go to look at your camera live feed, coupled with the issue in #1, you’re 15-20 seconds late (assuming the best case scenario of already having the app open) and that is an eternity when it comes to security and emergencies.
3. Speaking through the camera initially didn’t work for weeks after I purchased this system. An app update apparently broken this functionality and it took 2-3 weeks to fix. Once “fixed” the app still displayed errors that it couldn’t connect when tapping the microphone icon to speak.
When it would connect, the audio delay back and forth was terrible. It took 5-10 seconds, each way, for the audio to transmit, effectively making this important feature for me completely useless. No, it wasn’t an issue on my side.
Just search online for “Arlo camera audio delay” and see all the complaints about this going back years. The issue happens on their doorbell camera too which is even more egregious. The included hub was connected to my top end 6E mesh router along with gigabit internet (up and down).
The issue was present at all times when I was connected to the same wireless signal, a different wireless, or on 5G mobile data. The issue also happened via a web browser through their web interface.
No amount of rebooting, uninstalling, resetting, clearing cache, etc fixed the issue. 4. We bought this before going on vacation. During the middle of our trip, one of the cameras was repeatedly sending motion alerts (like every few seconds) when nothing was moving in the view or alert zone of the camera.
This is a known issue apparently because Arlo has a help article about it. The issue though with trying to fix it is that it requires removing the battery and putting it back in to reboot the device.
Not possible when I’m in a different state. I had to turn off notifications for our primary front yard/driveway camera negating the purpose of having this for security when we were gone. I don’t understand why Arlo doesn’t have a reboot feature in the app like they do for the doorbell.
Makes no sense. 5. Related to #4, there were a higher than expected amount of false positive notifications even when I set specific alert zones to exclude anything that would move from the wind or cars driving by.
I expected some of course, but for this high-end system, I expected better motion detection. 6. Also related and probably most important regarding motion detection, there were times when motion detection/video recording didn’t occur at all or was late and only caught the last bit of movement when someone was walking away (happened on Arlo’s doorbell too).
So when watching the saved video, it would occasionally show a foot/leg leaving my porch around the corner when it should have started recording 5 or so seconds before the person was in frame of the camera or alert zone.
The camera, like other brands, seems to have a record feature that is always overwriting for some length of time and when motion is detected, it will stop overwriting and record the video starting 5-10 seconds before the motion was detected.
This failed to work several times. My settings were 100% sensitivity and record until activity stops. 7. The “total security” mounts are a joke. I recommend going to the product page for this mount on Best Buy and reading my full review there.
The tensioner ring that tightens down the ball joint can easily be unscrewed and everything can be stolen in about 5 seconds. 8. The subscription is pricey and essentially required to actually use the features of this kit.
Other brands offer high quality with no subscription needed. 9. I wasn’t able to connect to my cameras (or doorbell) when connected to the same wireless signal while also connected to my VPN I subscribe to or my work VPN (via Cisco AnyConnect).
It would work fine if I was on a different wireless network (like at work) or on mobile data and connected to my VPN. It made no sense to me and I couldn’t resolve it. Overall, the app and software is buggy.
Arlo’s support is horrendous. Products and accessories are overpriced. Would recommend you look elsewhere.
Initially the battery charge didn’t last long, but I adjusted the settings based on their troubleshooting. I went from a charge lasting 2-3 days to 2-3 weeks. The free subscription ran out and the bells & whistles disappeared as I expected and as they said they would.
Since I didn’t need them, I was fine. My complaint and the reason I regret getting it comes from the fact that it continues to downgrade. Most recently the batteries all lost their charges and now only charge to 20%.
I’m back to having to replace batteries every other day. At six months in, I wonder if they’ll even be usable through the next six. Another issue that’s cropped up is that the camera signal quality goes up and down dramatically without anything being moved.
The camera responce has been poor from the first day. My exterior lighting, which is activated by motion, activates about 3-4 seconds before the cameras. This results in the videos only capturing the tail end of any movement.
The camera quality is good, but based on what’s been happening, I wonder how long it will last. They were very easy to install. Set up was very easy. One of the cameras I installed where it’s exposed to direct Florida sun and heavy rains.
It still performs as well as the ones not exposed. That very much impressed me. I When speaking to someone, there’s about a 7 second delay on both ends. It’s made even the simplest conversation nearly impossible.
It can be done though. The app is easy to navigate, but inconsistent and unreliable.

Excellent system, especially for the price. The cameras are easy to mount and the rest is easy to set up. The picture definition is also extremely sharp. BTW, you don’t need to keep it hooked up to the internet unless you want remote control or viewing on a cell phone.
You might need to hook up for initial set up, like I did, but that’s it.
I love it. Really easy to install and setup. I had tried some battery operated cameras and discovered that I could not do live monitoring all the time because it used too much battery power. These are great and I can see when my cats are at the door wanting to come inside.

Been using Lorex equipment for quite some time and due to a freak thunderstorm, my current system had a failure in one of the cameras. Please understand that this camera failure was due to the freak nature of a passing intense storm and not the equipment itself.
I received a great offer from Lorex, so I upgraded the cameras and was extremely happy with the outcome! Thank you Lorex.
This was on sale, so I decided to add it to our system. I had purchased a six camera system from Costco, the dvr has eight channels. I decided one more camera would be nice to cover pretty much the only gap in coverage.
Installed easily, especially having already installed the first six. Nice addition.

Cameras have poor night vision, described as a hundred foot distance is more like 10 or 15 feet and the wide-angle view is not wide angle. It’s just a slightly larger View. Picture is good quality. Beyond that they’re not as promised.
These cameras don’t work much better than cheap cameras that came with my system.
Good quality, great price for a 4 in 1 camera. Can be used for analog now then for HD when system is upgraded later. Night vision is less than other cheaper cameras but looks like there is just not enough LED’s or they are not very bright.
Has options to turn off IR cut and White balance.

Reviews From Real Customers
Spoke with a sales person (over the phone) in reference to this camera and he asked what system I have (NVR408) I gave him all the information that he asked for. I had to speak with the Sales Dept. numerous times because it wasn’t in stock, I gave the same information about my system every time I spoke to Sales.
I was told each time that this camera is compatible to my system, so I told them to go ahead and put the order in. I recently installed this camera and unfortunately it “DOESN’T WORK!!!!” Called Tech Support the second time and she checked with a higher level tech and they “CONFIRMED” that this camera “IS NOT COMPATIBLE” with my system.
I was then told by the tech to get in touch with the salesman that sold the camera to me, for a refund. I called him a few times and left voicemails for him to get back to me, (left my phone number and e-mail address), and I haven’t heard back from him!!!! I’m a long time customer and have made many purchases, but now I don’t think that I will again!!!!.
In the past 15 years I have used various brands and models of video surveillance cameras for our home and Japanese garden. I have sought to buy high-quality products equipped with PTZ and Power-over-Ethernet that were provided with user-friendly documentation.
When it came time to replace several older cameras I discovered this Lorex model at B&H and purchased one. Features that first delighted me: (1) It came equipped for either surface (ceiling) or wall mount (and with all the hardware necessary); (2) among its features was ONVIF capability (connect it to your router or switch and it adopts an IP address granting access consistent with your network); (3) use a browser to go to that assigned IP address and a Lorex control panel opens in which you can assign a fixed IP address (good practice for 24/7 camera use); (4) superb industrial design (example: installation last step is attaching the dome under the camera from below, but delightfully the screws for that are lossless–designed into the dome mechanism so they won’t fall out; (5) carefully prepared documentation that, while it requires carefully reading, leaves nothing to chance; (6) even the tools you need are included as is a 100-foot length of Ethernet cable; (7) the camera’s images are clear, crisp, and nicely color balanced; (8) low light levels are quite good (but it does not provide IR light for total darkness, some ambient light is necessary).
So, after that experience with my first purchase, I have since purchased two more. Two cameras are installed and the third is on its way to me from B&H. (By the way, early on I asked a question of Lorex tech support and they were back to me in a day!) This is the camera I have long hoped to find.
And the price is right! Thank you Lorex and B&H.
Why are users not able to adjust the settings on this camera? Better yet, why aren’t there any settings at all for this camera? Why can’t I leave it on 24-hour color viewing/recording instead of reverting to IR at night? Why isn’t there any audio? This camera has so much potential but it misses the mark on so many levels! I would really like to return this and just stick with the fixed mount cameras that these replaced.
At least there I can adjust them to my needs.

Reviews From Real Customers
I purchased my original system back in 2013. I decided to upgraded my old system with a new 8 channel DVR and 4 new cameras. I was able to use 4 old cameras but have since replaced two of them with new cameras which are so much clearer than the old ones.
When I replace the remaining old cameras I will purchase the color night vision ones. When I ran into a little trouble connecting to my laptop and cellphone I reached out to tech support who walked me through the steps necessary to get them up and running.
I have never had trouble reaching tech support, I have always received a call back within a couple of hours of placing my call. Just the other day I had four cameras go out at the same time, I called tech support and received a call back and after explaining my problem, tech support was able to pinpoint the problem to the power adapter.
The tech followed through by placing an order for a replacement adapter at no charge.
I have a set of 8 of these cameras on my house now and I needed a replacement for one I ruined. The cameras have fair to excellent video but they are somewhat inconsistent. I have 4 that are excellent, 3 that are fair and 1 that is poor.
When I replace the system, I will buy auto PTZ cams for better coverage and up close resolution. This was my first try. It’s an IP system and I believe I would prefer IR wireless next time for the ease of installation.
Plus, the auto scan and focus with the zoom allows real looks at license plates and faces. For the price, it’s a good system.
Still working great all these years! No problems other than an occasional birds nest on top of them or they’re used as a perch for a bird. Nice to see wildlife in the yard at night and to keep an eye on everything, and if anythings missing and the camera’s are hidden well enough you catch them, and if they do see the cameras they have to come within its distance to see if the leds are glowing red & working and when they do its too late, they’re busted!.

Reviews From Real Customers
My original review was posted in the Guard site and not on the Guard Pro. This is for the Pro version security cameras. I have to say I am very impressed with the cameras! Ordered directly from Defender and it arrived within a couple days.
Set up was pretty straight forward and I had them working within minutes over WiFi. Images appear very clear, and the motion capture is better than I expected. Usually you get a few seconds of footage prior to the trigger object coming into view, which is nice.
I am still playing with alerts and sensitivity to get it right for my requirements. It can pick up on the slightest movements. I do like the night light, both for colour night vision as well as lighting up the dark walk way for guests.
Some nice features are the talk-back, remote siren, remote lighting snapshot and record in the app. It is nice that I can do all the programming on the cameras from the app as well. The siren could be a bit louder, but will suffice for my needs.
The Human Detection seems to work well. Solid unit overall and good mounting options. I have only had the cameras up for a short period, but am really happy with the purchase. Also that I am not required to subscribe to any monthly plans is nice too.
Ordered two more since. As for support – I discovered a small glitch with my app installation, that required a re-install which I managed to figure out after I opened a ticket off hours. A support resource contacted me the next morning, so I know that next time when I actually DO need support, they will be responsive.
Thank you!.
Love my Guard Pros! I have several Guard Pros and one Guard camera. Having the Guard as well, it was great to be able to compare the two. I absolutely love the human detection, colored night vision and two way audio.
The colored night vision was a game changer, as it allows for a much clearer image of anyone coming near my home at night. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoy the motion light, for the colored night vision as it also works as a nice light, when coming home late and forgetting to turn on the porch light.
Overall, I can’t see enough good things about the Guard Pro, the app is user friendly, easy to set up, easy to share with other members of the household. I love the push notifications, as it makes it easy to know when someone is coming to my home, or package has arrived.
Honestly I love the Guard Pro camera so much that I actually ended up buying two more! Internal Tester | Amanda M. | Defender.
I was part of the Beta Trial and am so happy for that opportunity. The camera is far superior to previous Defender products. Similarly, the App is most excellent, especially when compared with Defenders previous App.
Here are a few notes and potential areas for improvement: The App is not compatible with previous Defender cameras. The playback options are most excellent, but the sensitivity controls are a bit faulty sometimes, resulting in false positives.
Specifically, the block out capacity doesn’t quite work fully, resulting in notices from a flying flag, for instance. Finally, the audio quality and picture clarity are outstanding. We’re quite happy with the system, and very much look forward to additional purchase options soon.

With 14 EZVIZ cameras of different types, I have become all too familiar with the good, bad and ugly side of owning EZVIZ. Deciding on which brand to buy in this segment of IP camera product offering is quite important if you don’t want to wake up one morning down the road and wished someone had warned you of the downside.
So here is my 2 cents on this item. 1/ The DC power chord is way too short for an outdoor camera. It sits at 4. 5 feet and by the time you fish the wires (POE, DC power line) through, you’ll need your own DC power chord extender to have it installed or have POE cable with adapter to connect it to an outlet.
This is not good as many other EZVIZ cameras do come with longer power chord (internal cameras – generally 10ft, external cameras – 50ft extension chord – for HUSKY line). 2/ WIFI connectivity is terrible.
There are two problems here – WIFI connection is 2. 8GHz only but more pressing issue is that even with the Antenna and all this C3WN is terrible at picking up WIFI signal sufficiently. While my iPHone, Android phone and other Wifi devices easily connects and shows strong WIFI signal status from my router only 10 feet away, this C3WN shows 1-2 WIFI bar and has trouble connecting.
Even when it connects, it drops the connection constantly. I have just accepted that this is a hit and miss camera using WIFI and is looking to convert it to wired POE (Power Over Ethernet) Router directly – what a pain! I have also spent countless hours in contact with the technical support folks.
To be honest, I feel bad for the agents on the phone as they are nice and appears to be trying their best to help but the process of technical support and customer support often hits a dead end in the support processes.
This cause many awkward moments that makes the customer feel like the company is not set up to match the professional image they are attempting to portray through the website. After 4 years equipping my home with EZVIZ in hopes to have a peace of mind, I am more stressed about my cameras going down at the most inopportune time.
As a backdrop to my comments – My home has a Gigabit WIFI network with mesh network that provides strong 100Mbps minimum in the worst areas of the home. All my WIFI cameras are situated in a great WIFI connectivity area and 5 are hard wired.
Very easy and straight forward to setup and install. Mind you, this is 7th brand/model tested and 7 dash cams as well, of which 2 of each were 4k and very disappointing so my expectations have been reduced.
Main flaw on 4k is default 4fps and max 7fps so anything moving is blurry. Typical 1080P image and default 12 frames per second video for moving objects of which both can be increased on PC app to make it one of the best used thus far.
For viewing streaming quality you can select standard, HD or UHD which on WiFi/data, can have lag or jumpy so save the clip to phone if needed. Default setting has WDR wide dynamic range off in CCD settings.
Therefore in shadows, like all the other cameras, vehicles are all one black image from tires, doors, to windows or a person is a silhouette in shadows so all black one piece instead of seeing each piece of clothing.
Therefore turn it on and adjust for improved definition which make it better than the other cameras but can make things worse under certain conditions. Phone app works well especially compared to others and there’s a PC app with many additional settings to customize but playback function is no good.
Clip viewing starts at current time versus others that start at the days midnight and have to scroll all the way to current time. Night vision at times can be as good as a cloudy day but totally black at other times for unknown reason other than perhaps reflective cloud cover light or clear sky and moon? IR vision works well depending on location and aim, so you may want to turn it off at times.
Sound recording one way varies but is pretty good. No batteries to charge or replace and optional cloud service so go SD card and avoid fees. Cons – Crazy short power cord for an outdoor camera, who has multiple power outlets within 1.
5m of strategic locations around their home? So you are left scrambling to make or purchase solutions for power. Should have at least 2x4m extensions included. Motion sensitivity at max is better than most the other cameras but not all and varies with conditions and location.
Typically about 60m for rabbit, coyote, people and double for cars. Other brands barely reached the end of the short driveway. Slow to load videos compared to other apps but transitions from clip to clip smoothly.
PC app only shows continuous green recording without motion identifiers therefore giving many errors so only good for live viewing and additional settings. It does however play seamless clip to clip within a green bar but errors at the end of a bar so have to slide to the next green bar.
IR vision very sensitive to snow floating in the air when not snowing causing motion recordings and notifications. Had to turn sensitivity super low to slow it down but now I can walk without detection directly in front of camera.
So IR off now and relying on motion lights to come on to provide night time video. Aimed straight down at just back yard, the screen is near black but aim it higher with more area ambient cloud reflection lighting and it’s all clearer like daytime, not sure what’s happening here so turning IR on and off at times.
Dangling network cord seems pointless and in the way for a WiFi camera and who has spare outlets on router anyways and if running cables then may as well go 4k with hard drive but 2 systems purchased were plagued with problems.
Two finger spread to zoom for event bar could be automatic for both vertical and horizontal view. Have to sit and wait for clips to load on the app more than other apps and they load before done sliding to desired times or zooming in.
Face recognition keeps pointing at strange things like wheels, snow piles and butts. Not the best or worst wide angle at 110, so need 2 cameras to cover a wide area. Having to buy SD cards and power solutions borders on getting another system.
If using scheduled notifications you only get motion clips provided during that time. No zoom on PC access. I see reviews stating 2 way audio and alarm? These do not. Notification clips are not ready for a minute so just go to live view if you want to see right away.
Please add 2x 4x 8x 16x fast forward and rewind to the phone app as well as pause with next frame as well. Would be nice at the end of last clip to automatically switch to live view instead of error.
Camera system and App seem to work well for me, I have them set up at my farm and at home, so able to check both locations with one login, I have used these Cameras for a year now. Takes clear video, I use the Micro SD for my video rather than the cloud subscription.
I tried to use cheap SD cards, but they didnt work, so need to buy good quality cards. I am able to view license plates on vehicles coming into the yard. When I bought these wanted to have battery powered camera’s but found these on sale and thought try them, they have worked well, I appreciate not having a hub plugged in anywhere to manage them, can just do all operations off the phone.
Also, they indicate they are only operational to minus 30 degrees celcius, that was a concern for me, weather shows -41 celcius this morning and just checked up on my farm. Very happy with quality to price ratio, I have promoted these camera’s to many people.

I don’t often have/take the time for reviews but I believe this deserves a few minutes of my time. This is the second Night owl system I have purchased. Over all, the systems work very well, however, remote viewing in the app can be a pain due to buffering and failure to load cameras.
This is likely due to slow internet speeds available on our end Although I do have some issues with my first system which has very fast internet. I installed this system in an aircraft hangar yesterday.
(8 Cameras) the first camera I installed was 32 feet in the air. I mistakenly dropped the camera from about 34 feet onto concrete floor after bouncing off of a beam. I was 100% sure it was destroyed.
I decided to go ahead with the set up and to my amazement, the camera survived that fall with NO visible damage AND connected and still worked perfectly! I have to admit this is a testament to the camera construction.
The setup for the second system was surprisingly simple as it automatically connected to the app already installed on my phone and walked me through from there. That in itself was a real relief. I had to contact tech support for my first system last week and they were quick and responsive.
Had my issue resolved in minutes. I have 5 large aircraft hangars and will likely purchase 3 more systems in the near future!.
I bought this over a month ago and have progressively installed a few at a time. I’m currently only halfway complete but so far I’m quite pleased. There are a few things that I’m still trying to workout and really only one missing feature I’d like to see.
Currently I can’t setup the recording options or notifications through my android app. I have to change the settings on the hub itself which doesn’t have as many options as the app does. The cameras have done pretty well so far though so can’t complain.
Customer service was also nice the day I was setting it up. I’d recommend this to a friend any day. Love not having a monthly bill to pay some company to do the same monitoring I would already do myself.
I received my system a couple weeks ago and got it installed. The cameras are nice, images are clear and crisp, and there are many things that can be configured with the system giving a lot of flexibility.
Out of the box my cameras were not pre-paired to the receiver, so nothing worked. The install guide and online videos didn’t help. I did an online chat with Support and they walked me through the pairing process.
The Support team was great and the pairing process was easy but it was frustrating that I had to go that step. My other ding on the system is that the configuration interface is very old school. At this point, I would have expected to be able to use a web browser on a laptop to configure the system.

I was a bit overwhelmed with the installation and did as directed and had an electrician in my area install it (he now wants one as well). Quick tip: Roku has actually created a ‘how to’ video on YouTube that is simple and easy to understand if you’re not like me and afraid of electrocuting yourself.
The electrician had this easily installed from scratch in a relatively short period of time (I had no previously installed floodlights). I love that I can get notified while laying in bed of any activity in my backyard.
I have a fairly large back yard and was surprised that the lighting has full range of the entire yard. My favorite feature? The super loud siren that can scare off trespassers. My yard is massive and not fenced in and often I get “wanderers” cutting through, making me feel as if my personal space isn’t very personal.
Not anymore! I like that I can dim the lights, if necessary and also to be able to set the “detection zone”. This is cheaper than other alternatives for lighting/security products and with the added protection of a brand I already trust.
Hands down, so excited that we have this Roku Floodlight Camera mounted over the garage. Its hard wired so you dont have to worry about charging anything. The LED lights are bright and the camera catches all motions when detected.
It took no time to mount and provides the coverage needed in the front of my house to make me feel safe and secure. I can check in on my Roku Home App anytime I want to see whats going on in front of my house.
So happy with the Roku Floodlight Camera SE.
This is a great product! We needed to replace the floodlight on our garage and that area is all dead space. We have no windows to see that area to the side of the house. This is the best thing ever! It has a camera on the light! Now we can see that side of our house and it all connects on the same app as the doorbells.
I just never thought we’d have a camera over there with no door, but we do now thanks to this floodlight camera by Roku!.
Conclusion
The long range night vision security camera system is an excellent way to keep your home or business safe. The system includes a camera with a long range night vision lens, a recorder, and a monitor.
The camera is mounted on a tripod and can be placed anywhere in your home or office. The recorder is connected to the camera and records all activity that the camera sees. The monitor is connected to the recorder and allows you to view the activity from the camera.
The system is easy to install and use, and it is an affordable way to keep your property safe.
