20 Best Inflatable Punching Bag For Adults (2022 Updated)

I’m 6ft 190lbs and athletic too. I bought this as a beginner bag. Filled it with pea gravel. If you are somewhat strong and looking for a bag to really hit hard this is not the best option. But my wife can hit it as hard as she can and it’s perfect for her.

She’s 120lbs and new to boxing. The suction cups will pop off if I hit it anything over 70% power but it has never fallen over. It’s perfect if I am trying to get a cardio workout and practice form. The padding does become soft if you hit in the same spot.

I put about 4 wraps of duck tape to keep it firm and that worked. It seems well made other that the padding getting soft. I also don’t use gloves a lot so that may wear down the padding more. That’s about all the info I have.

The bag is made of good quality and the shipping was super quick. The base was not delivered with it so still waiting on that. I gave a 3 star since base is shipped separately and I have no time frame or tracking number I’ll update my review when the base arrives and will be able to see how well it withstands my kid!.

Its. really well made quality material on this upright punching bag, however the base has suction cups om the bottom and it must be filled with sand or water well the rubber lid falls in the water well and when it gets punched hard it falls over znd splashes water every where.

Easy to set up. Changing the 3 strike settings is not that seamless, you’ll have to unscrew the pole to change the bottom lock. In terms of weight + leakage – I filled mine with water (approx. 29L). Just place a cut of plastic film on before putting the cap on, and there will be no leaking.

The water is definitely not enough to keep it still. Even as a relatively small stature (50kg, 160cm) and extra weights on the base (12kg) the base will rock forward after a couple minutes of punching.

I have mine on a mat, so unsure if it slides. But overall, great for the price and does the job.

I recently bought this for my son, bc I ordered a youth boxing set from Amazon that fell apart within an hour of him using it. I was extremely impressed with everything about this Everlast reflex bag.

From the base and the heavy duty spring to the adjustable bar and the punching bag itself, I am happy with this product all around. In my opinion, it is very good quality, very durable and my while family enjoys using it on a daily basis.

I paid almost as much for the youth boxing set as I did for this one and the difference was unbelievable. Shipping was great too, it came in faster than expected and right to my doorstep.

First personal opinion: If you hit this thing hard like the guys are doing in the online videos, it won’t last long. This is not a device that is designed for you to practice your power punches. Get a heavy bag for that.

Second personal opinion: Whoever designed the base had a bad attitude and no degree in design engineering. The cavity under the base used to store the foam speed bag during shipping is terrible. It saves Everlast room in the box when shipping, but makes it hard for users to put sand in the base.

Several folks had a good idea about putting Olympic barbell weights through the pole and on top of the base to add additional weight. But be careful if you do this. If you put on multiple weights, it interferes with the proper flexing of the base spring.

Third opinion: Putting the fill hole in a position where it is covered after you attach the pole was not the best idea either. Makes it hard to get to if you need to drain it for transporting repeatedly or often.

We drilled a hole slightly off center, and silicone glued a cut off threaded top of a two liter soda bottle. Real easy now to quickly drain or fill with water without having to remove the center pole.

Overall opinion: Could have been made a bit sturdier, but would have cost more. Good medium-weight training tool for working on cardio, accuracy, timing, combinations, and foot work. But don’t Hulk-out on the thing.

It’s not a heavy bag. My wife and I use it when we do our Tae Bo, Les Mills BodyCombat, and Xbox 360 Kinect workouts. We like being able to actually hit something instead of just shadow boxing during the sessions.

I also use it as a light warm-up prior to using the heavy bag. I do twelve 3-minute rounds, trying to average 50-60 punches a minute. Last thoughts: Use some hand wraps or padded mitts. not worth damaging your hands on that foam speed bag head.

I would say to disregard any of the negative reviews about this bag, saying it’s flimsy. I almost steered clear of it for that reason until I checked exactly which heavy bags we have at my MMA school and many of them are these models.

Yes, they’re softER than some bags could be, but they’re definitely up to par for real training. My guess is that whoever rated them as flimsy got a misfire bag, which could happen 1 out of a few hundred with any brand.

I haven’t broken mine in yet but when it arrived I was actually surprised that it was even stiffer than the ones we have at the MMA gym. I would definitely recommend this bag.

Do you have a stack of unused or worn out T-shirts? Put them to good use by filling up this bag. You can fit up to 40 pounds of clothes into it, and hit the heck out of this bag. It is made of heavyweight material that will take punches and kicks easily.

I do not recommend hitting it with unpadded wooden weapons since it will tear. The bag is filled with clothes as you push down onto it with a broomstick or rounded, blunt object to minimize air and extra space.

It hangs easily onto a bag station. I hit these with my bare fists, palm heel strikes, backhands, and various kicks without injury or pain. It’s a well made system that saves you money on shipping a heavy bag.

Particularly for my fellow military veterans (I’m prior US Navy, Commander, O-5) and active duty who have to move or pack light. It makes for a great portable method for training. It makes for a great lightweight bag for practicing boxing or martial arts such as Kung Fu, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, etc.

For the price, this is a nice bag. I bought this bag after purchasing the same brand’s uppercut bag. I bought on walmart. com when the price dropped. I mention this because there was no “soft insert†to the upper cut bag as indicated in the description and I suspect the same for this bag.

Regardless, the first time using it worked better than expected.

I’ve had many bags, most were good, but this one is unique. I’m older and I can hit this one as hard as I can, it has just the right amount of give. It doesn’t aggravate my arthritis. One of my favorites.

We ordered this product mid-January 2022. It worked great for our boxing gym; however, a tiny hole developed, and it began to leak. We are currently waiting for someone from the website to respond to my “Contact Us” request in order to follow up with warranty.

Noticed improvements in my game within the first couple weeks of practicing on it. Great for footwork, accuracy & speed. Came with no problems & easy to fill. Love it.

Ok for those who are wondering the bag is around 4ft. Its too hard or too soft, somewhere around the middle is how i’d describe it. Over the material is decent considering what you pay. 100% better than most of the everlast boxing bag in my opinion, shipping is pretty darn fast too.

Im pretty sure the manufacturer is located in Oklahoma so shipping may vary in the state you are in. The ring isnt a circler ring but it is triangular instead which is fine. The coloring is honestly great and I really dont have any complaints, all I need to say is pick it up while it lasts.

Just got this bag at the gym I work out in. Bag is great. Firm, but not hard on your hands. Enough weight to get a hard workout. Bag hangs by webbing. No noisy chains with links that always break. Outer shell looks like a resilient tough shell.

Bag is also very attractive, Very glad the club bought this bag. Its as good if not better than most of the big name brands.

Best bag you’ll get. I know it’s not cheap, but it’s well worth spending the money on a HEAVY and durable bag like this. The lighter bags swing around way too much and are too soft to hit. And you definitely want a bag that comes pre-filled because trying to fill these evenly and uniformly is almost impossible.

Just have a very strong bracket to hang it from and don’t expect to lift it yourself- too wide to get your arms around and grip easily. Punch on!.

2 Stars because: presented as the best heavy bag (standing) for Thai and Kickboxing. It`s not! This item is NOT suitable for Kicktraining Kickboxing or Thai Boxing!!! Surface and “Filling” much to weak.

And even when it`s filled with water (wich is recommended by the producer) it moves and shakes around terribly. For Kids OK! But to be honest not for 359 USDollars! That is a cheek towards customers.

I researched the hell out of bags before I decided on this one. I watched video clips of people comparing bags who were completely UNbiased in their reviews. I held out for a while because of the price but I have to say.

buy it! It is solid, sturdy, well made, easy to move into place-depending on how much water or sand you use. I used about 120lbs of dry sand as recommended. I’m female, 51 years old, 5’3″ about 110 lbs so 120lbs of sand works fine for now.

It’s easy enough to add more. I smack and kick the crap out of this bag and I LOVE IT!!! I had a hanging bag and it could be difficult to execute certain moves, especially kicks. I felt like I was kicking concrete.

I workout with Cathe, Michelle Dozois, Mike Donovanik and others at an advanced level. I have Susan Chung’s workouts that include heavy bag work. This bag is great for all my boxing and kickboxing workouts.

So, I bought the on cyber Monday half off. Coming from a hanging bag, I had my doubts. It does move a fair amount and it could be kicked over if a person is trying to do so. For my use, not a big deal.

For kicks, it’s way more approachable than a bag stand and takes up a lot less room. Pretty easy to scoot it out into the center of the garage. If you want to straight box, maybe not for you. If you want kicks with decent contact, it’s good.

As a bonus, the box it comes in fits nicely as a cover.

For the reviews that were” bolts are rusting ” I would ask where are you storing it? Is it somewhere with moisture? Is it somewhere that gets wet and then dry? Is it in a place where maybe, just maybe, rusting would happen on metal ? Is it that practicing hitting a fake body, that shakes on the bolts that are holding it together, might wear on the bolts that are holding it together.

Could it also be due to a situation similar to those that complain about splits in the body like “After 1-3 years of punching and kicking an object in the same places (habit /comfort) it started to split”.

could it be considered “wear and tear” at this point? After PUNCHING AND KICKING an object? Bags also suffer the same.

I purchased Bob after about my 3rd time to this store, almost buying him, and deciding he was a bit too costly for what it was. this is an absolute mistake. The price is the quality- simply said. I have at my home a traditional heavy bag, which I still enjoy and use, but BOB takes this to another level; for one, if you use water (which I recommend) Bob is very versatile.

On nice hot sunny days I will take Bob outside and get a brutally sunny workout then clean him off, drain him out, and bring him back inside. Heavy bags are fixed to the ceiling or stands. BOB’s material will sweat with you, literally, and he will become more slippery are the fight goes on and realistically harder to maintain your clinches and add that little extra sting to your skin when hitting.

BOB also has perfect details like his little protruding solar plexus which allows you to really aim at things unlike a leather bag. He also moves much more and gives you the realistic feeling of your target giving in to your punches a bit more, moving away and then back toward you, and you’ll even miss quite a lot if you are actually sparring him like a heavy bag (also realistic).

It’s been about 3 years since I purchased Century BOB XL. I got 5 of them for my dojo. Just recently some white “stuff” started to come out from the bottom of the torso where it slides onto the base.

It’s not a fully sealed unit, you can see the inner fill from the bottom At first I thought it was dust forming around the base, but after detailed inspection I found out that the inside fill material (foam) starts disintegrating from heavy use.

Now we have to vacuum after each use. I guess BOB is now dieting and losing weight. When filled with water it easily slides around and can be knocked down with heavy kicks. Filling it with sand can be time consuming and unpractical unless you never plan to move.

The rubber skin seems to be holding up very well. It’s an OK value for a free-standing bag. It doesn’t exactly substitute a heavy-bag but nevertheless, it is a great tool for training striking/kicking accuracy or speed, human-like shape really facilitates targeting.

It is easy to set up. I would only recommend this product for home use or strictly targeting tool, not for professional heavy use.

What sold me on getting this bag was the free shipping. Titan advertises the bag at 78 lbs but it does feel like it weights less. Overall its a decent bag but like the review above, it settles quickly and there are already flat spots on it.

Overall for the price, I would recommend paying about $50 more and getting a wrecking ball bag from Nazo Boxing or Ringside. Also keep in mind that some boxing companies sell on Amazon and you get free shipping.

I do want Titan to continue exploring the boxing market. I wish they had their rack mounted speed bag platform still.

I have worked out in boxing gyms and now work out inside of a home gym with tons of fixings. this bag is great for its size and purpose and price. The only thing it might be lacking is the density. As we have used it for a couple months now it has begun to settle down and down the road we might need to add so more sand into it for its shape.

Other than that I look forward to punching it everyday!.

Over a year of constant use for kicking and punching and it still holds up. The top zipper must remain tucked when fully zipped. I thought the wrap would rip after such rigorous use and it still is going strong.

The durability is not five stars, the padding will rise and you will require smoothing out and pulling down as it will crease if struck in the same spot over repeated time. I used 3x 5 cubic feet of pea gravel inside the base.

It moves slightly but enough to remain in place for 6 three minute combo sessions. Fighters various ages range from 10 – 44 years.

Due to gyms being closed I had to get my boxing fix in somehow so I ordered the Century Wavemaster. The product itself is good. I filled it up with water versus sand since I live in an apartment and plan on moving by the end of the year (at which point it’ll be easier to empty and pack).

Filled with just water it still moves A LOT especially when throwing hooks. Now this wouldnt be a problem if I lived on the ground floor but I’m currently on the top floor and have it placed on my balcony.

To cut down on the THUD! noise whenever it moved I bought gym mats. This helped a little. So then I ordered canopy sand bags and tied them around the base. Adding about 90 lbs to the base. This helped a lot.

It still moves and THUDS! but not nearly as much. I’m sure it’s still annoying my neighbors but not nearly as much as before. If you get one and live in an apartment and dont want to annoy off your neighbors, expect to make some additional purchases.

I hemmed and hawed and hesitated, waiting for a good price, or a space in my home to materialize where I could hang my heavy bag, but neither came to fruition, so I finally relented and spent the $150+ (inc.

tax). Well, the bottom line is it was money well-spent. I (a fully grown male and strong kicker) and my daughter (a less strong, but higher kicker) now use this tool almost daily. Both of us can knock it over (filled full of water) with a full-power kick, but, guess what? You dont have to kick full power to get a great workout.

But if thats what you want to do, just have someone hold the other side. Just like in the dojo. The plastic base initially worried me, but its strong and holding. Now that I think about it, the same ones are used in the dojo always hold up despite severe beatings.

Verdict: if you dont have great place to hang a heavy bag, this is the solution for martial artists, even grown adults. I wear myself out punching and kicking it enough to tip it, but not knock it over.

I think youll be pleased with the results.

We got this stand because of the multiple functions in an effort to save on room, we got it as a gift. The product was easy to put together and so long as you aren’t a really hard hitter is pretty stable.

The reason I am giving 2 stars was it was missing parts all of which go to the speed bag portion. The hardware to connect the round board to the metal arm were missing (2 M8x75 bolts, 2 M8 nylon nuts, and 2 M8 washers), as were the pop pin and knob bolt to adjust the height of the metal arm.

The logo plate above the bag was also missing. I called customer support and was told, “I apologize, but our warranty policy does not cover gifted items. We will need a copy of the receipt sent to us in order for us to send the parts out to you at no charge.

We do have the parts available for purchase if you’d to purchase them. ” Parts never made it into the box and I have to pay for them, that sucks. Moral is always get a receipt, fine guess that is my mistake, buyer beware and all that.

I will order the pop pin and knob bolt since I don’t know what size they are and can’t get them elsewhere. I will get the hardware from a local place. I won’t be needing the logo plate, or the stickers on the product either.

Don’t be swayed by all the negative reviews regarding shipping issues with this product. I bought this from the local Dick’s store so I could check out the quality and also to avoid having any delivery issues with missing boxes.

(I will say that even the local employees had trouble making sure both boxes were together when purchased so Dick’s needs to fix this issue. ) For someone looking for recreational use to mix up workouts in winter weather during COVID, this combo set is a home run and great value.

You can purchase these pieces separately or get an infilled bag cheaper but on sale the convenience factor is unbeatable. Very easy to put together and quality construction. The heavy bag and speed bag can both be adjusted to accommodate multiple heights.

Bag feels great and when not hooked, the stand can be moved around to the ideal location. The one thing multiple reviews pointed out is that if you are putting in work, you will want to put some plates on to help weight the system down.

Even with light use you can feel the stand move a bit when hitting the heavy bag. I had some 35 pound plates and makes a big difference. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase, if quality holds up it will have been a home run purchase.

Great box But Super Noisy bolt joints. The size of the hole to fill the base with water is fine, but if choosing sand, its an absolute nightmare. On a design standpoint, i cant fathom why the hole is made so small.

Bigger hole and bigger cap would make it so much easier and more friendly to empty and fill. Bit the biggest issue so far is what they don’t show in the youtube videos, the squeek noise of it swinging back and forth after every single punch.

The joints are just dreadful. Hes great to punch with, fantastic even, but the noise is almost Unbearable.

I purchased this bag and found it to be the best bag I have ever hit. It is kinder on my 63 year old shoulders, elbows and wrists. Don’t be fooled because its full of water that you cant get hurt hitting it hard.

One must still take the precautions of wrapping your wrists and concentrating on technic especially uppercuts to the bottom of the bag which is harder than the softer middle of the bag. My brother recommended this bag to me and I recommend it to all, young or old for either training purposes or just staying in shape.

After owning multiple heavy bags throughout the years, I will always say that Everlast is the way to go. The addition of this aqua bag is top notch. The feel of the bag is great for any workout. You can throw multiple punches and combinations and the movement stays minimal.

As long as your strike is true there isn’t any spin on the bag and the water content absorbs the strike and feels better on your hands and joints after the workout.

This bag is top notch all the way, from the way it looks to how it performs. You can hit it from any angle and won’t have to worry about injuring a wrist, yet its solid enough to really make you work.

I’ve got the 100lb version of this bag and its plenty heavy enough. I love the design of this bag, it allows you to throw uppercuts and body shots yet, its easy on the joints. Construction is very heavy duty.

I ordered this for my 6 year old neighbor boy鈥檚 birthday. He is like a grandson to us and he loves to box. We wanted it set up for him so he could use it right away. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised at how thick and strong the punching bag felt! I did use an air compressor to blow it up, which made it so much easier than blowing it up with your mouth.

This was so big! I did put water at the base to help it be more sturdy, which they recommend sand or water. Since we were giving it as a gift we did the water. An adult could use this for practicing kicks if you wanted, but our neighbor is having fun and enjoying his gift.

Highly recommended.

The red seam started to tear the first 5 minutes I used it. A lot smaller than I thought, probably should mention that this works better for kids. I used the stuffing and sand bag that came from my old bag but it’s not as heavy because it only used up half of the stuffing/sand bag so it’s not as great for kicking and hard punches as it just swings around all over the place.

Otherwise, the bag seems pretty solid and price was not too bad. I’ll just set this one up for the kids to practice on.

Bag is good size. Packed with clothes, it might weigh 50 lbs. The bag is white canvas with a black ring at the top, zippered top allows for easy filling. Easily filled it with old clothes, blue jeans, denim shirts and cotton T-shirts.

Clothes pack and settle so adding more via the top is great. Have had the bag in use about a week and it seems durable. Got this for a teenager with ‘issues’ and it has helped deter him from hitting other objects.

Did not come with the gloves listed. I had to contact the seller to get them. The bag shipped fast, under a week, the gloves shipped slow, a week and a half. The bag’s vinyl is tearing away from the canvas with 3 uses, but I figured I was going to have to patch it with duct tape when I first saw it.

I put 9 pairs of cut up old jeans in it and it weighs 21 pounds, after they compressed there is room for probably 5 or 6 more pairs. Overall it is worth the 20 dollar price. Mostly just annoyed that the gloves didn’t come with the bag in the first place.

No matter what your skill level is, this is the best heavy bag you can buy. For a pro gym or for your home the Hydrostrike Heavy Bag will always be an excellent option. Highly recommended.

Great buy! Bought it for my son who is 8. He loves it! This reflex bag can also take good punches, I’ve used it myself and we decided to keep it so today we bought sand to fill up the base. It is well made, I can tell this early because I’ve punched it myself, I’ve felt the spring’s flexibility and quality and the bag itself is sturdy! I had to put on my boxing gloves because after a few minutes of continuously punching it my fists were hurting so I put on the gloves.

For $50 it is a solid buy! I already have a punching and speed bag but what is unique about this bag is that it forces you to practice your head and body movements which is amazing because of the superior engagement/fun, increased cardio activity (because you are moving more) and more realistic self-defense training (because if that bag is coming your way and you don’t move the first time, you’ll move the second time!).

Easy to put together. Height adjustable. Weighted down by water in the base. No gloves included but I knew that before. I have some gloves that I bought from Walmart previously. If you want to punch something and that something isn’t a heavy bag, then this is what you want.

Helps with hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and other technical aspects instead of the brute strength part.

This is one of the worst purchases I have made. It was broken after one day. Both springs have softened and cannot even hold the bag upright. The bag is slumped and leaning over. And this happened only after one day of my three boys punching it who are all under 12 years old.

The slides to change the setting have jammed and no longer slide. Stay away from this bag.

I wish Rival sold these Aqua Heavy bags years ago. After owning and using countless heavy bags from a variety of manufactures both at home and at the gym, I can honestly say that the Aqua heavy bag is one of the best single boxing items I have ever used.

I have recently started using the 18inch bag and it is amazing to say the least. The water content absorbs the shock of the punch, lessening the actual shock on the hand and joints as well as preventing the bag from moving much at all.

In fact, the bag moves as if it is a 200lbs monster. The feeling of punching the the thick rubber bladder is quite different than a traditional heavy bag and placing the bag into proper position and filling it is a breeze.

But be warned, do not place the bag filled. Moving this bag is extremely difficult when filled and it becomes shockingly heavy in a short period of time. Weighing in at over 120lbs in such a small compact package, gives it quite a heavy feeling without the shock on the hands and joints.

The outer shell in extremely strong and other than cutting it open with a sharpe knife, the shell appears built like armour. As is usual with Rival, shipping is very quick and ordering the bag is simple.

Only used for a couple of rounds, but definitely love it. Great hybrid between double-end bag and heavybag – you can work on accuracy and power at the same time. Great bag for creating monster jabs. You will definitely need wraps and gloves for this, it’s got a harder surface than you think – and since it’s heavy and the 12″/9″ bags swing a lot, watch your head when it swings back at you – it’ll knock you out if.

It’s forgiving enough that it shouldn’t hurt your hands or rotator cuff. I have the 12″, which I’m commenting on, and the 18″ but haven’t used the 18 yet. Get a chain/rope that will handle 4 times the full weight of the bag.

Much quieter than a heavybag, depending on the sound your gloves make. No reason you can’t hang a 9″ or 12″ in an apartment without making too much noise.

We just recently purchased the aqua bag and mounting system. We have tried several bags previously and nothing compares to the aqua bag. If you are using ina basement I would highly recommend the mounting system Rival has.

It dampens the vibration and sound so it doesn’t feel like your house is coming down. If you are in the market for a punching bag – I highly recommend the aqua bag!.

when i originally bought this product i thought to myself that it would not stand a chance in the ring with an absolute unit of a man like myself, but to my surprise this inflatable friend provides to be a very unique and diligent opponent.

I can 100% assure you that when buying this stubborn punching bag, you are promised to be in for a real scrap and dirty fight. not only do you learn physically, you learn mentally the real mentality of a fighter when face to face with said product.

My 8 year old son loves it. It’s was his Christmas present from his uncle , who also thinks it’s cool. Only one issue which I must contact the designers about — were using an electric plug in air pump it blows it up to 90% but still some wrinkles.

What the best pump to use? We’ve had to refill the air after 2 weeks of inflating — is this normal ? About to ask the designer — hope they’ll respond.

Use Decathlon loads, so much value for money, and speedy efficient service. This Punch bag has not been stopped being used since April when we got it! The children love it. Easy to assemble, doesn’t take up loads of space, and brilliant to use for a daily fitness regime.
