I tried the boveda packs first. Actually got a boost pack in my dhc box and I already had the boveda. I tried the boost and imo they’re way better. My boost has been in there for at least two weeks. The boveda pack would have already started to dry up u can feel it turn.

But the boost is still going. Pink on the card even. Love that there is a card that turns blue when it’s done. My product is super moist and amazing.

I love Cvault storage products, and this purchase is the best value for this set I could find anywhere (including Amazon). Use to keep cured herbs fresh moist, and tasty. Not the cheapest option (a dozen 1 & 2 ounce ultraviolet dark kars with seals and lids for $17 : as of this writing, smell proof and all is) but very cool and gorgeous, they work like magic, just remember the LARGE is smaller than a cereal bowl, not for mass product, but a decent selection for 28 ounce and under, will keep your herb beautiful moist and delectible, dank u very much!.

I bought these with great expectation. I was hoping it would ease the time critical nature of the too dry-too wet battle. So far for me it has done nothing. Does not seem to dry product that is a little too moist and does not appear to moisten product overly dry.

There appears to be no affect at all.

The AirMini by ResMed is ideal air travel, as well as weekend getaways in our camper van! In addition, the AirMini Humid X conveniently takes care of my moisture needs in changing environment, with no dry throat or dry nose issues, even on long vacations.

My AirSense 10 is great for home use, but it covered the entire bedside table in our van! Now I can tuck the AirMini in a corner of my bunk, and be assured that the AirMini Humid X will take care of my moisture needs!.

I like the HumidX cartridges; that’s why I rated them as 4 stars. They provide a means of humidifying the air that doesn’t require a source of distilled water or the increased power consumption that accompanies a heated humidifier.

Unfortunately, each cartridge is only “good” for 30 days after opening, after which it must be discarded and replaced. For someone like me that only uses their AirMini CPAP occasionally while camping or backpacking on the weekends, that means I might only use the cartridge for two or three nights in that 30 day period.

On a per-night basis, that makes it a very expensive option for the benefit of humidification.

I use the ResMed Airsense 11 and recently purchased the ResMed AirMini to use as my “travel” CPAP machine. My sinuses become very irritated from the CPAP if I don’t have enough humidity, so I was initially concerned that the HumidX cartridge wouldn’t be adequate.

I am very pleased with how well it works. It is also great not having to worry about finding distilled water on my trips.

I had to retire my Phillips CPAP because of a recall. There was no indication from them as to when or how they were going to rectify their device problem so I had to buy another brand of CPAP machine.

Unfortunately, the company that used to provide heated humidifiers for it stopped manufacturing that device so I had to research to find something compatible with my new CPAP. I then discovered your humidifier, ordered it and it worked beautifully.

I use this unit with my portable CPAP machines. It is not as good as the integrated units with heated tubing, but is is acceptable. The stand is not particularly useful. I would recommend this as a solution to humidification on a second CPAP.

This is a very serviceable stand alone humidifier that can be used with any CPAP device. Lightweight, easy to pack, very reasonably priced. Just two observations [1] It’s nearly impossible to clean or dry the water chamber that comes in the package so unless you pony up for the reusable chamber (and I suggest that you do) you risk fungal colonization and that is never good; [2] The ambient humidity tracking still allows significant and noisy rain out at higher humidification settings.

I am fairly sensitive to low humidity and do well on the lowest settings.

I had the plastic piece inside my original lid crack and break off and my lid would leak air and not stay sealed closed. This replacement was a perfect fit and I’m back to a good night sleep. So glad I found this.

I usually get my cpap products from Apria healthcare, but they do not care about their patients nor customers, I tried to order this part through Apria, I got the runaround, got transfered to different departments, they never sent this piece for my cpap machine.

I have the S9 series machine. It has made a loud whistling noise and I hear my self breathing. I have replace this door along with the seal. Door does not line up and the seal moves. I have tried several times to set it right but it will not stay I have trued to contacxt Resmed to no avail.

This machine is quieter than my prior Resmed and has worked quite well. However, the “snooze bar” on top is not always responsive to shut off the machine. The rear tubing exit is less convenient than the side exit on the Resmed.

Unfortunately, my machine was caught up in the recall from Phillips. Now, 1 year later, I am still no closer to getting a new machine than I was when the recall campaign was first announced. Fortunately, I’ve never used any of the UV sanitizers, which seem to accelerate the failures experienced by this model.

First off, I have to say that the customer service from this company is no joke; they put other companies in the US to shame with their quality and friendliness. For example, I had a couple of questions that I sent to them in an email about my prescription, as well as calling them on the phone, and I could not have been more impressed.

One should not be concerned about having to deal with this company, if an issue arises, because they are professional and efficient in their manners of conducting business. But, considering how they conduct themselves, you will most likely not have any issues at all; like my experience was.

Now, onto the actual product, I am very happy with this system and humidifier. The system itself, when used with this humidifier, works perfectly. There are no gaps that allow any leakage of air, the design allows for a very tight seal, and the fact that you can remove the whole tray for the water inside and run it through the dishwasher once a week is AWESOME! They also made it easier to replace seal parts, if and when they wear out with time, instead of having to buy a whole new unit.

I am so glad that I stayed with the brand I had before. My previous one lasted so long that I doubt I will have to replace this one anytime soon; if anything, the quality only got better. And if I ever need to work on this machine, I can use some replacement parts that one could not receive for the older models.

Hands down, this is a good, long-term, investment that will allow you to maintain your machine overtime without have to constantly buy a whole new system. I like this as I am the guy who buys smart phones that allow easy access to replace the battery as I don’t like buying a new phone each year only due to only battery going out.

After 4 years of daily use, one tiny wire broke that powers the heated tube for my Phillips Respironics Dreamstation CPAP machine. I could not sleep without my heated tubing because the cold air is irritating to my airways and the rain out wakes me up.

Fortunately, the humidifier section could be replaced without replacing my entire CPAP machine. Now I am sleeping well with warm moist air and NO rain out!.

Ordered on a Sunday and received it on the following Wed. This unit is best available for Residential applications. Note that it does not use batteries and does require 24vac. Easy to install and configure.

In my use case, I tied it to the DHUM terminal on a Carrier gas furnace Control board (58MXB series). It had to be configured to humidifier control mode in order to lower the cooling fan from “Cool” to “Heat” tap speed when the measured humidity goes above the set point.

Also note that the user adjustable set point on the front panel is in increments of 5% and not in 1%.

STUDY THIS BEFORE BUYING. MAY REQUIRE PROFESSIONAL ELECTRICIAN TO INSATLL. It barely works. And you’ll need to buy a digital hygrometer to confirm actual humidity levels and to help calibrate this device.

It’s a crap shoot on this product. I bought one and it registered 25% huniditynwhen it was actually 30% or more. The hygrometer is not accurate at all. I sent back for a replacement. It resgistered 30% and never moved higher even whe other hygrometers measured 32% or 33%.

However, I did learn how to calibrate the device. It does the job but very inneficiently. I have the calibration set +8%. The max is +9%. The problem is that the humidity has to get to 32% to shut off and then will drop to 25% before it turns on.

I would have returned the product again, but I can’t find any alternative digital humidistat. Another complaint is that this unit needs constant power so it requires special wiring to operate. WHY DONT THEY MANUFACTURE A BATTERY OPERATED UNIT LIKE THEY DO FOR THE THERMOSTAT? I had to pay an installer around $200 to put a wire in to supply the constant current to the device.

Some reviews say it is accurate. My experience on two devices suggest otherwise. Both units were off by 5 to 10%. I bought a $15 digital hygrometer and compared against two analog hygrometers all three wore more accurate than this device.

So be prepared to calibrate the device and purchaese a digital hygrometer to verify the actual humidity.

This product was a recommended item to control the Ultra-Aire 98H 98-Pint Ventilating Dehumidifier. Nothing fancy and inexpensive. Controller displays the current humidity and is able to set the humidity level.

It is a basic controller to turn-on/off the unit. Easy to install if you have basic knowledge of electronic switches.

When I say, “you get what you pay for,” I don’t mean it in a negative sense. It’s just a healthy acknowledgement that when you purchase something at such a low price, you’re inevitably sacrificing some form and function.

That’s the case with this CPAP. So here goes: PROS: – The price is incredible! You simply won’t find a more affordable CPAP, especially with features like integrated humidification and data reporting.

– It seems sturdy. If the exterior is indicative of the internal components, it should be a long-lasting workhorse. CONS: – The worst part is the noise. Having used many CPAPs for the past 15 years, this one is the loudest.

The whir of the motor isn’t bad. As another reviewer noted, when you inhale, the motor creates a sound approximating a snore. Another review said the noise was lessened when placed under the bed, but my experience is that the noise resonates through the hose to the mask.

It’s not loud enough to keep me from sleeping, and my wife hasn’t complained, but it can be distracting. – It’s hard to explain, but the give and take of inhalation and exhalation don’t seem as smooth as my previous CPAPs (almost like breathing creates vibrations through the hose and mask).

Again, not a deal-breaker, but a little bothersome. – It’s big and heavy. It’s easily 1. 5 times the size of my last CPAP, which wasn’t particularly small, and it’s certainly much heavier. It would be burdensome for traveling.

– It’s ugly. Not really ugly, but it looks like medical equipment, comparable to something you’d see in a hospital room. Most new CPAPs are sleeker and more attractive. – The interface isn’t very intuitive.

The power button is fine, but getting into settings and reporting takes more effort. – The design isn’t very user friendly. For example, the hose doesn’t pivot against the machine, so it often gets wound up, like a phone cord does.

The water chamber is harder to remove and fill. It’s the little things that make a CPAP easier to use. BOTTOM LINE: If I could do it all over, I’d probably buy it again. Sure, there are plenty of cons, but if you’re buying the CPAP without the help of insurance — and you don’t have much money to spend — you simply cannot beat the price.

And, despite the cons, it ultimately does what you need it to do.

Love the ‘extras’ that this machine provides over the more expensive models from the larger manufacturers. The auto stop/start is great, and my husband is quite excited about the data collection. I haven’t gotten used to the EPR, but I can see that being a great thing for some users.

I’ve read comments about noise, but since I sleep with an additional white noise machine did not think it would be an issue. At 10PSI, the machine is as quiet as my previous machine and can’t be heard over the white noise machine.

This machine is a gamble. For $1,100 you would expect a product like this to deliver on its promise of helping you sleep and breathe better at night. Unfortunately for the first 9 days I had to take the device OFF in order to sleep.

If you have any nasal congestion while wearing the device, you suffer from claustrophobia-induced panic as you feel like you’re trying to breathe through a coffee straw. You’re stuck with a $1,100 suffocation machine! The medical industry is the only industry where they offload all the risk and cost burden completely onto the customer. If they were selling these machines on Amazon they wouldn’t be able to sell them for more than $600 and would have free returns.

The machine is self-adjusting and came with the most generic settings, only to be further tuned by the patient. What exactly is the role of the physician here? Furthermore, there is no way for the patient, except to conduct another $200 sleep lab, to know whether the machine is working.

Yes, the machine tells you that it’s working. But can you trust it? It lacks any of the sensing the original sleep lab did, so how exactly are the data comparable? To be fair, when you are lucky enough to sleep through the night with the device, I do believe the quality of sleep to be superior.

I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea 3 months ago. I went to my family physician for an annual checkup and he referred me to a neurologist. 1 month after the referral I finally had an appointment. 2 weeks after that, the Dr.

had me return to his office. He then scheduled me for an overnight sleep study in a clinic. 1 Month after that, my insurance said NO, use an in home study. 3 weeks after that I got the test and completed it at home.

3 weeks later I returned to my neurologist to get my results. I had severe sleep apnea. Neurologist then said, I want a sleep study in clinic. 3 weeks after that, my insurance company said NO again that Dr had enough information already.

I was beyond frustrated at this point and googled cpap machines. LOFTA seemed the best company I could find. Called LOFTA, next day scheduled a video meeting with a Dr. who read my report from my at home sleep study that was completed months ago and prescribed my “miracle machine”! I received it in 3 days, used it for 4 nights, and then had the nicest most patient therapist “Dan” go over my results I uploaded.

That was a few days ago. My Apnea went from 60. 5 events per hour to 9. 4 events after 4 days and now after 8 days, ( I shaved my beard off ) I’m down to 4. 7 events per hour and sleep like a baby. What an absolute “miracle” to have support, professional, and knowledgeable people just a phone call away with all the answers to my many questions.

I had to move onward to the s10 airsense by resmed which is a less user friendly cpap. My only issue with the s9 was the hinge on the humidifier is weak in its construction. I really do miss my s9 cpap unit.

I am trying to decide if i want to pay for a new s9 humidifier or keep using my new s10 unit.

My humidifier broke and I needed a new one for my Resmed S9. Fearing a couple of hundred dollars as the price, I searched the internet before I went back to DHM. I won’t search anywhere else next time I need equipment.

The DreamStation Go is a wonder. I debated getting the humidifier. I’m glad I did, and it works great for me. If this is only being used for travel, I’m not sure it is worth the cost and size over the CPAP for short trips.

I use the CPAP at my partners house when I stay over, so with the humidifier I now have a total system when I sleep over. When I travel for short trips however, I don’t need the humidifier. In my case a trip longer than 2 nights I bring the humidifier with, and have a more comfortable sleep, and the increase in luggage is worth it.

At the top I should have mentioned that it works really well. Not quite a smooth as the full size unit on the DreamStation. It is however a marvel as a complete package.

I got a Philips Respironics DreamStation Go Heated Humidifier a week ago. Importing to Japan requires an import report to the customs office and was issued by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.

It was troublesome. However, it is highly effective in that the throat does not hurt when used and it feels good when you get up. It was a very good product, so I’m glad I had a hard time importing it.

Since it was out of stock, we waited for a purchase for 3 weeks, but we asked for support until the arrival. Thank you for the price and delivery support.

Bought this machine in November 2018. June of 2020, barely two years of use, it just stopped working. Error code said the motor does not turn on anymore. I sent it for repair since it was still under warranty.

The manufacturer said they could not fix it anymore. The CPAP Shop told me they will send me a new machine only to discover that a similar machine they have is not functioning as well. Doesn’t that say a lot about the quality of Devilbiss Intellipap 2? The CPAP Shop will be sending me a different brand instead.

Although this is a personal experience, I found that I have had the best night sleep ever! The delivery of the therapy is enough to keep the airway open but not so much that there is a rush of air in your face.

Devilbiss Intellipap 2 auto cpap machine with the heated humidifier is a great purchase and definitely worth the money.

I bought this as a portable stand-in for my venerable System One, and decided after the first month or two to make it my primary device. Then, I discovered that it doesn’t work with my SoClean (no adapter for the humidifier, and apparently no interest in creating one).

Then, the pulse-dose errors which caused me to lose the machine for at least two weeks while it was in warranty repair. A year later it did it again. And, it isn’t a minor problem – it basically reverses the programming and shoves air up your nose when you should be exhaling.

I’m back on the System One. I don’t think there’s much demand for this model anyway.

The H-4i humidifier attaches easily to the mother ship. Here in humid Florida, you wouldn’t expect to need extra humidity through the mask. This unit makes the air more tolerable but really flies thru the reservoir capacity overnite! On cold nights (yes, we get some) the rainout can become quite annoying.

Keep the hose lower in the middle so that raindrops don’t fall up your nose!I wear the Swift LT nasal pillows and cannot use the forehead hose clip without the wakeup drip. Even Home Depot insulated pipe wrap ( plumbing Dept.

) cannot prevent water from condensing. But it is still better than no humidification. In the morning , I usually pour out about a tablespoon of water from the hose. A small inconvenience for easier to breathe air.

I would recommend the soft hose wrap to allow flexibility and make it easier to tuck the hose under the covers with you to keep it warm. The Home Depot wrap is too rigid. In Short, a good addition to your Resmed machine.

I got this after my H3i died. I used to have my H3i turned all the way up and it worked well enough. I rarely got dry sinuses. Then I used this one. This one is so much better in terms of heating the water that it actually had water vapor in the feed hoses and made it make gurgling noises at night.

I had to lower the temperature setting to about half of what I ran my H3i at. Now it works perfectly. You can see that the heating plate on the H4i is about twice the size of the heating plate on the old one so that makes sense.

Easy to use, snaps right onto the front of the CPAP, with power and air passing through (no other connections). Compact. Reasonably easy to fill. I only use mine when I’ve got a cold, since I don’t really need the humidification all the time and filling it is something of a hassle.

But you’ll love having this when you’re sick, or if you like a humidifier every day.

This machine out of the box was easy to operate and set up. Lightweight and easy to move around. At times it’s a bit too light, I have waken to the machine spun around. I was disappointed that my heated tube was unable to connect to it.

It’s not as quiet as I was hoping. It is quieter than my previous s9 Elite Resmed Cpap but louder than the Airsense 10 which is used by my wife next to me. The machine operation is quiet but you can hear the air flow as you breath.

I have the optional humidifier and I thought that might be the problem but I disconnected the humidifier and it got louder. In order to lower the sound I placed a towel underneath the machine which reduced the noise by half.

I think the lightweight plastic lends to more vibration noise. That’s why a towel underneath reduces the noise some. This is my only complaint about this unit. That is why I gave it 4 stars.

Out of the box, this thing is pretty useless. As a 20-year CPAP user, the default settings are horrible. It “adjusts” the pressure from nothing, up to slightly more than nothing. It also tries to emulate a BiPAP, which is very unsettling.

The only instructions were to contact my “home healthcare professional”, who could adjust the settings. Fortunately, before I packed it up for a return shipment, I found a couple of online articles that told exactly the keystrokes to use to enter setup mode.

Apparently, this device can do everything for everybody. I turned them all off. I set the machine to “CPAP mode” and the pressure to the same one I’ve been using for 20 years. Worked like a charm. The machine is very quiet and the on/off switch works as expected.

I downloaded the App and have been collecting the data. It believes that I respond well and that my mask fits (it does). As to accessories, the heated tubing is too short (I added another length of unheated) and the humidifier runs out of water before morning, leaving the smell of hot metal.

Had about six years on ResMed Air Tech 10 and it was getting noisy. Wanted something new so I bought the DreamStation. It’s auto-sense so you don’t need a pressure setting. It works great. I think so because I am solidly asleep all night.

Also I use about half the distilled water of the last machine and wake up with less dryness. You don’t need a sleep study because the pressure is on demand and changes as needed. You don’t need a DME(Durable Medical Equipment) provider because the direct purchase price is $330 less than the deductible.

As you may know any CPAP is $1200 + through a DME. You pay 25% or 50%. I expect to get $165 back , out of network, from the insurance company. Direct Home Medical sent out the machine USPS same day I ordered it.

I have been using a CPAP Machine for at least 10-12 years and the Philips DreamStation is truly a “dream” to use and own. For the price of what most insurance plans charge for a copay, you can own this machine outright with no insurance hassles or rental agreements, etc.

The DreamStation is whisper quiet, dependable and easy to use. It sets the bar very high for a modern CPAP machine. I bought the Auto CPAP DreamStation and it works virtually flawlessly with the Bluetooth connected DreamMapper App to record your sleep patterns night after night and show your sleep history and vital sleep info to chart your progress.

You can even print out a custom report to take to your sleep doctor if necessary. But don’t be afraid of the technology; you can use the DreamStation completely on its own without using the Bluetooth App and reports.

Once set up everything is completely automatic for using the DreamStation and getting a good night’s sleep zzzzzz :).

My long-used humidifier stopped working. I ordered this replacement. Then I realized I had inadvertently changed the humidifier settings on the CPAP machine. Reset those, and the old one worked fine.

I sent the new one back in the unopened box. The real story here is how the company treated me–with kindness and helpfulness–refunded my purchase price minus a 15% restocking fee (fair enough) and my paying the return postage.

This humidifier works great and does what my previous two have done – humidify my high desert CPAP air. I just notice that each model has gotten cheaper. With the first, the water tank was all clear plastic and marked in black for easy inspection.

The next model used a cheaper gray plastic for the lid. Now this model has the gray lid and they have removed the black line marking the maximum water level. Cost shaving and profit increase at it best.
