This is a great mousse. It was just what I was expecting when I bought it. I’m my opinion it is a little expensive. I used this product for wash and go’s and on my braids and had good results with both.

I will definitely buy this product again.

I love this product. I used to have the worst time getting my hair in line as it is kinky and curly. But this product keeps my curls in line. They’re not crunchy and the smell is awesome. Not overly expensive.

Now the mousse does leave that sticky feeling on your hands as you’re putting it in but totally worth it to keep my crazy curls in line.

This is my favorite curl mousse! I have fine combination hair (oily roots and dry ends). My hair is somewhere between straight and wavy, I’d say about 2A hair type. I’ve tried many curl and wave mousses and this is my fave.

I used to use this years ago but forgot about it and decided to try it again a month ago and so glad I rediscovered it. First off its super affordable, only cost about $3 at walmart. Another positive is the scent, it has a nice pretty scent that lasts but isn’t overpowering.

Its the perfect amount of hold, not too light that my hair falls flat a few hours later but no too much that my hair look and feels stiff. My hair has nice soft movement but holds the wave/curl. I put this in my hair, scrunch it, then let it Air dry and it gives me nice enhanced waves/curls and holds throughout the day, and doesn’t look like I used a heavy product or too much product.

If u use too much it will give u a wet look but just start with one golf ball size and add more if needed but shouldn’t need much more than that. I always reccommend this to people to atleast try, for the price u can’t beat it.

Does enhance curls some but leaves hair sticky – if you read the ingredients – basically scented sugar water. If you try to get rid of the crunchy stickiness even with fingers it just pulls the curls out.

This product is a big miss. I’ve used other salon quality curl enhancing products that do not do this – it is not just to be expected.

This is hands down, my favorite mousse for my curly hair days! Ive used many, many curl products and this is different from all the others. I have both fine and thin, wavy hair so I have to use products that will define my curls and add volume without weighing it down and looking “crunchy”.

This is it! I’m a stylist too so my hair has to look on point. Otherwise, clients might assume I’m not good at what I do (even though we have to work with what Gods given us). I only wash my hair about once a week and this stuff keeps my curls looking awesome for a few days.

When it’s time for a refresher, I’ll usually dampen my hair (not soak) with water, use some good leave in on my ends, and then apply a little more foxy curls and my style will bounce right back. I’ve noticed when I apply this (after my leave in) while my hair is still damp and then use my diffuser (not drying it completely) it gives me a TON of volume.

The scent is amazing!! (all bed head products have the best scent) One side note. if you do use this several times a week, it can dry your ends out. Technically, most mousses and hairspray do. Make sure to use a good conditioning mask at least once a month to help replace the moisture back into your hair.

I have tried this product in different ways – first to apply on wet hair and defuse dry as per instruction. I did not like results because it straightened my waves and hair looked dry and dull. I also tried it to apply on wet hair but left hair to dry naturally.

This way waves looked the best way, very defined and wavy hair, but it was impossible to brush through the hair and it caused much breakage and unhealthy looking hair. I also tried to apply on dry hair, this caused hair feel hard, but created some defined waves.

Also first week using this product and shaking it properly before each use it had nice foamy and thick mousse, and it wasn’t sticky however after one week no matter how properly I shook it came out very liquid texture and left hands and hair feel very sticky which is very disappointing.

I feel after using this product for about two weeks now my hair looks more damaged and unhealthy which is due to its ingredients which are not healthy for the hair. I would not recommend and would not repurchase unfortunately.

This is a weird mousse, very watery and difficult to distribute in hair. I have thin and fine 3a hair, this product made my curls stringy with no volume. I scrunch and diffuse. Gave it a try for a month, then threw it away.

It did nothing for my daughter’s fine curls either. Maybe it’s a good product for people with fine hair, but alot of it, when you don’t need volume? I really liked the ingredients, sad that it didn’t work for me.

I much prefer Redken Full Frame 07 or Cake The Curl Whip for my hair type.

My first impression of this product was great. My wavy looked like truly curly hair. My curls popped. But then reality set in. My hair was very crunchy, which I don’t like the look or feel of, and the ends were a matted mess.

I don’t think they were actually tangled; I think the mousse made them stick together. Either way. , I could not get my fingers through my hair, and when I tried to force it, I pulled out a number of strands.

This product seemed promising but did not deliver the look and feel I want for my hair.

Okay so I’ve been shopping around for a new curl cream and moose, since my favorite of 10 years (which who I will leave nameless) changed their formula and my hair has noticed! So I’ve tried this far all the small business brands that have popped up since the pandemic and nothing was working the way I want it too.

Until I’ve tried the Curls rock amplifier cream with this foxy curls moose. Wow !!! I have a 2b with a good layer cut a 2c long Puerto Rican thick hair that can also be straightened to a flat bone straight.

So this product has the right amount of alcohol with the creamy base to control frizz without over drying my hair. I’m in love! If you have super dry hair I wouldn’t recommend because of the stiffness it provides.

But for my type of hair yassssssssssss.

Sticky overpriced mousse that thinks it’s a pomade – did not work well in my wavy hair and made my hair frizzier instead of locking curls together- I’m still confused on how that happened and scared to use this again because it’s almost not worth the effort of hoping it won’t be a repeat bad experience- might just use only when I’m not leaving the house for like a week or if there’s an eclipse and no one can see me in the dark -on 2nd thought, I’ll need an eclipse and a rolling blackout / no electricity for perpetual darkness – if no one can see your bad hair did you have bad hair? I think the answer is no.

Only then is it safe IMHO for you to use this product. Have at it.

I haven’t really tried this yet. I have fine straight hair and this is geared more to curly hair, so I’m hoping it will work for me. I wanted to try something new, and I have tried all the products I can that are for fine straight hair.

Which I have liked all of them, some more than others. I hope they make more styling products geared towards my hair type. I love all the R & Co hair videos, I am always wishing my hair could look like the models hair.

What a cool concept from R+Co – a hybrid pomade mousse. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but I came to love having it on hand in my hair tool box. I would most recommend it if you’re creating any hairstyles that involve heat styling waves.

It’s great for adding hold, texture, and creating a piecey, defined look without adding a lot of weight. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you haven’t yet, or taking the plunge if you’re on the fence.

I bought this same product before I went on a long vacation and wished I had bought more. It offers great “freeze” hold or softer hold if you apply less product. It can be rejuvenated with a spritz of water (or a small splash if you don’t have a spray bottle handy).

I’ve loved Sun Bum for quite awhile. I feel their sunscreen is some of the best, so when they came out with hair care with UV protection I was on board. I was using gels for awhile but kept having tangling issues and massive knots.

I figured maybe it was time to try a mousse. This leaves my hair so soft but still gives my waves and curls great texture/hold. Super easy to refresh with water and adding this back in. And it doesn’t dry out or tangle my hair.

Finally I found the right product for my hair! My hair is type 2 and my husband’s hair is type 4. This mousse does a great job a good natural looking wavy/curl hair. Literally I feel I’m at the beach when I apply this mousse, my hair is not crunchy at all, at the next day my hair looks pretty silky, wavy and I love it.

This stuff works great on my hair! It is light weight but holds the curls beautifully and without frizz. I have very fine and somewhat thinning curly hair that is very easily weighed down by product.

I was so happy to see they sell it online and ship it, because it was getting very difficult to find it anywhere near me in the Midwest.

I have type 3a hair and this is one of the few hair products I’ve repurchased repeatedly. I transitioned to my naturally curly hair over a year ago, and after trying lots of gels and heavier hair products, I decided to switch to a mousse.

How I use it: After washing and conditioning my hair, and applying a lightweight leave-in conditioner or cream, I use this mousse. It gives great definition and is lightweight enough so my hair doesn’t look like a puffy blob! I refresh by spraying my hair with water and scrunching in the mousse where needed.

As another reviewer noted, I only apply this product when my hair is wet.

I love this foam! My absolute favorite foam, and I have tried loads of them in the 3 years since I started wearing my natural texture. It is not very moisturizing so I use a curl cream or leave-in under it.

It does not weigh down my fine waves/curls at all (as long as I don’t use too much of it)! It lets my hair dry super fast when I use it without a gel so it is my go-to when I want great a looking wash-day in a hurry.

The hold is good enough for a day or two but if I want to go longer without a refresh I use a small amount of gel and then top it with this foam. This is one of the few products I have purchased repeatedly since transitioning!.

This is a mousse that is essentially a styler and mousse. Its claim is to help with frizz free waves/curls, making them crunch free and softer. Having stick straight hair I was a little 😬 when I received it, but I am also a victim of the early 2000’s crunchy scrunched hair, so I figured I’d give it a go, hoping I could create some scrunch/waves without the crunch.

When I used it the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by the smell (a tropical punch/mango scent) and how it came out very easily. I’ve tried mousses in the past that come out in sparse globs. Or that mousse that comes out way more than you intended.

The first time I tried using it on wet hair from root to ends and attempted to scrunch my hair. I let it air dry and I wasn’t happy with the results. My hair looked a little more textured, slightly tangled, and it was also sticky and my waves didn’t hold on my straight hair.

The 2nd time I tried using it to just add volume to my straight hair. I blow dried this time. Again, it didn’t really provide much lift and my ends seemed more dry than usual. This just isn’t the product for someone with really straight hair.

Love the smell, love the ease of use, would possibly recommend only for someone that has wavy/curly hair.

First off, people are giving this product wayyy to much hate. Maybe their expectations are higher than mine but I had a totally different experience. This entire dispenser and product is legit like whipped cream.

It comes out whipped cream consistency and all. When you rub the product in your hands it lathers down into a cream. When I applied this too my hair it was like I was applying a thinner cream product and not a mousse.

Unlike any other mousse I’ve ever used it had ‘slip’ when I distributed it throughout my hair. It felt very nice and not sticky. The dispenser doesn’t push out the product itself consistently every time.

I found that you need to shake the product several times and shake it down toward the tip to help dispense it. But it legit comes out like whipped cream when it does. I think part of the issue is that this product is thicker than the typical light as air mousse.

The smell is okay. It’s kind off fruity. Not my favorite but I don’t think it stinks at all. Does provide good hold and helps with definition. I just wish it was easier to dispense. Overall this mousse is very unique and I love that it resembles whipped cream and adds slips to your hair.

As someone with natural hair, it can be hard to find affordable stylers that work well on my hair. I used this product on my hair on two different occasions. The first was on my freshly washed hair to help define my curls as they air dryed.

It greatly reduced the frizz and gave my curls definition and hold without making my hair feel sticky or stiff. For the second occasion, I used this mousse on my hair before twisting it. The next morning, I undid the twists and had beautiful, bouncy hair.

Frizz was under control, I had body and bounce without stiffness or flaking. My hair also had shine and felt moisturized. I was able to change hair styles without issue. I went from wearing my hair out to a ponytail and it laid smoothly.

The mousse is lightweight and comes out the can easily. It doesn’t take a lot of product to get desirable results. I would recommend this styler to anyone who wants a styling product that can provide a gentle hold while taming frizz and flyaways.

I have a love/hate relationship with this stuff! My curly haired clients absolutely love it! But only if they’re straightening or smoothing out their hair. Do not be fooled by the name of this product.

It does not relax curl. All it does is seal down the cuticle to make it EASIER and look shinier when going for a straight style. If you have straight hair to begin with, you can put a pea size amount in your hair and let it air dry or blow it out for a shiny silky look all day.

My beef with this product is that you can definitely overdo it. More than a pea size amount and you’re going to need to wash your hair. I hate to complain about needing only a tiny amount, because this stuff lasts forever, but ever since I felt the drag and sticky mess after overdoing it, I’m hesitant to use it! I haven’t been a huge fan of the Davines styling products over all because of this same problem.

HI! I never use mousse but i bought the travel size once bec it was cheap and curious. It worked amazing and i kept buyin them for when i traveled (should of bought full sized too ) anyways Im now out of stock and 1 cant find travel or full sized anywhere in stores.

And now online search only shows this weird purple bottle. Based on hundreds and hundreds of reviews there and here. its hideous and a DIFFERENT FORMULA? For the love of Pete WHY? Why do you companies take a product that is loved by hundreds of thousands and think “oh if we change the formula itll be better” NO IT WONT.

I really like this mousse, you shake it up good before using then turn it upside down dispense a small amount of foam into palm. Distribute evenly throughout damp hair, then I finger-style or blow dry using a diffuser.

 The only reason why I didn’t get five stars is because after using my hands are extra sticky, Which I always wash my hands after using hair products so it’s not a big deal just worth mentioning. .

I have very fine hair which sometimes causes me absolute horror. This product is absolutely wonderful. You need such a small amount and it creates so much volume. It doesn’t make your hair feel sticky in any way.

I tried this product at my local salon and I was impressed at how my hair held its shape after this product was applied and blow dried. I just purchased my first bottle and was pleased with the results of doing my own hair.

It’s lightweight but it holds the curl of a blow dry and makes hair look very shiny. Best part is the next day you can brush your hair out and it doesn’t feel greasy or like there is product leftover in your hair.

I have enjoyed using a lot of Moroccanoil products over the years. And have been happy with them. During the winter I decided my hair needed a lift as the temps and humidity are very low. With great anticipation I ordered the volumizing mousse.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the product as it didn’t do what I was expecting. It left my fine hair looking flat and somewhat frizzy. I didn’t get the bounce I was expecting.

I have fine, low-density 2C-3A curls and generally follow CGM, but I wanted to try a new mousse because it’s still not spring and I’m super bored! I wish I’d looked at the ingredients more closely before buying this mousse, though, because it contains propane, which honestly just freaks me out.

I still tried it because I spent money on it, but I wasn’t super impressed. The mousse is ***VERY*** thick, so I mixed very small amounts with water before scrunching it into my hair. After diffusing and scrunching out the crunch, my curls were actually very well-defined and had good volume, but even though I used VERY little – an amount that was maybe the size of a plum for my entire head of hair (falls between jawline and shoulder) – my roots felt extremely gummy and gross.

I know it’s the mousse because the only other product I used was the ultra-light leave-in I’ve been using for years. I can’t imagine being able to use much less product, though, just because of how the mousse comes out of the can.

So overall, it does define curls, it may leave a gummy residue (my hair may really be just too fine), and it contains scary ingredients. The scent is also pleasant, but very strong and appears to last (I did my hair hours ago and I still smell like coconut).

I wouldn’t buy this again, but I’ll probably save this as a back-up product in case I run out of my holy grails – and stay far away from open flames, yikes.

This mousse is amazing for my daughter’s 3B curls. It doesn’t weigh her hair down like gels tend to, clumps and defines her ringlets beautifully and it smells like a tropical vacation. To get the most out of this product, I wash, condition and detangle her hair well.

Then while her hair is sopping wet, I have her flip her head down and layer as follows: I Work As I Am leave in conditioner through her hair, generous amounts of OGX mousse and finish with OGX Coconut Curl Cream.

Scrunch hair to encourage curl and then blot (do not rub) hair dry with a microfiber towel or old t-shirt. Let hair air dry and do not touch it! This will keep frizz at a minimum. She has shiny, defined curls with no crunch or flakes.

This product works better on her hair than Deva Curl or Ouidad at a fraction of the price. Sold!.

After trying out the curly girl method, I had been experimenting with mousse, gels, and leave-ins for my hair, trying to find what will enhance the wave but not weigh my hair down (I have a 2b curl pattern btw).

Anyways, this mousse doesn’t dry out my very processed hair and it gives a nice hold so my curls last through the day. It doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave a crunch -unless I put way too much in. For the price and as far as drugstore products go, I really enjoy it.

If you’re new to styling your curly hair, want to try out a new product, or are on a budget, I definitely recommend this mousse.

I absolutely love this product! I apply it on damp hair and when the hair dries, it leaves it shiny and soft. I get beautiful soft beachy waves with this mousse. I have thick hair, so was not sure if I should use this product, but it was so highly recommended that I tried it.

This stuff is great and the next day I actually got multiple compliments on how nice my hair looked. It truly does add volume, yet is not sticky. Major bonus. Would definitely recommend for sure.

Not a fan. This product left my hair crunchy and stiff. It did prevent frizz but it also prevented any movement in my hair at all. The smell is great! It does have a high alcohol content though which could be drying over time.

I’m a fan of most Got 2 Be products but this did not work for me. My mom loved it! My hair is medium thickness with a slight wave. Her hair is coarse with corkscrew curls. She said it worked really well with her curl cream.

It’s not an expensive product so I don’t fell bad about buying it. I’m just sad that I couldn’t make it work for me.

I have very thin and straight hair, but on occasion I like to take a break from heat styling and scrunch my hair! I’ve only found one other mousse that actually holds a scrunch, but it was discontinued.

I decided to take a stab at this- and it works amazingly! My thin, straight hair gets transformed into perfect looking beachy waves when I use this product. The hold is strong, but feels like I don’t have any product in my hair.

I did get this as part of an Influenster sample box along with 2 other Maui Moisture product. I’ll start by saying I’ve never been a big fan of hair styling products like mousse, gels, hairsprays, etc.

and I was a teen in the 80s so go figure but I thought I’d give these a try anyway. But I did want to state that because maybe my experience is the norm and I was just never able to get used to that I did give it three stars for a couple of reasons below and I figured that would be the most neutral considering I’m not a user of mousse.

I’ll also say I gave them a chance because I started by trying the Maui Moisture oil mist that came in the same box and I’m absolutely loving that. I gave the mousse a shot on a day that was a bad hair day anyway.

I don’t really have curly hair. I have naturally frizzy hair if that’s makes any sense at all or what my mom used to call kinky hair. Pros: I like the ingredients, very natural oriented product it seems.

I like the packaging and I like that it’s not an aerosol but rather a pump. It took me about 3 pumps to get the amounts I needed (I have fairly long hair). The scent was even more subtle than the oil mist, which was nice.

not having 17 different scents on at the same time. And I will say it seemed to do a decent job at holding scrunched hair. My big con (and mostly why I’m not a fan of most styling products) is that I hate having stiff and/or sticky hair.

Because my hair is, as I said, naturally frizzy, it tangles very easily when in that state (I tend to straighten it when I can or braid it). When I tried to run my fingers through my hair, they actually got stuck.

This mousse is indeed lightweight and doesn’t have that heavy feel that other mousses do. I love that it doesn’t contain silicones and instead uses natural ingredients such as aloe. I initially used this mousse without any other product to get a feel for how well it works.

Being that it’s watery in consistency (almost felt like I was putting water foam in my hair), I didn’t expect it to create the curls that it did. My hair had great curl and exceptional volume. It did have stiffness, but minimal.

I found that it had moderate frizz control, meaning my frizz wasn’t eliminated but it was greatly reduced. By day 2, my curls were still intact and so was the volume, but my hair had picked up more frizz.

I dampened my hair a bit and scrunched it and there was an improvement. However, I still feel like for those with very frizzy hair (such as myself), it would be good to add another product to control the frizz.

I did just that today, and now my curls look great. I think that swapping out your regular mousse for the Maui Moisture Coconut Milk Curl Foam Mousse is going to impress you. It works better than the other foam mousses I have used without the heavy coating and chemicals.

Thank you Influenster for the complimentary hair care products to try and review. I’ve always seen this brand in the store but never gotten myself to buy anything from them. Let me start out saying the packaging is absolutely stunning.

It definitely draws my attention in to the product, which always is the first thing I seem to see when buying hair products in the store, then I check out the different scents. This smells so good. It is definitely a scent I would choose on my own.

It has a tropical smell which is perfect for summer and my beachy waves. I love mousse to begin with for my hair texture but if I am being honest I haven’t used a mouse for a while. This mousse is one of my favorites at the moment.

I have wavy hair if I let my hair dry naturally and if I want it to be a little more defined I will reach for this (which I do more often now since I received this) it helps bring out my natural waves by styling with a soft hold.

If you hate your hair to be crunchy like I do the trick is less is more. A little goes a long way and it gives you the soft bouncy waves instead of the hard poke your eye out curls. I love how natural my curls are when using this.

Will definitely buy again.

IšverstiShow in original languageHello. I am in my 50s and a lil “vain” anout my hair. Paul Mitchell has been my go to for decades. They have never let me down. I used the sculpting spray (when was blow drying natural lame waves straighter), their shampoo one is Glorious, and Detangler, love love love.

Buuut, I contacted a severe case of contact dermatitis on my scalp when trying a bonding regime last year from another brand. And, my hair I had been growing out for 15 years turned stick straight, fine and limp.

Oh it gets worse. Then 70% of my huge glorious wavy hair fell out. At least it took a while so luckily I had growth in between. If thats not bad enough, since then I now have mast cell syndrome I can not use this mousse any longer.

Too bad because it would solve all my hair problems. So PM, can you Please make a fragrance free line? Hypoallergenic and minus any of the usual offending essential oils such as coconut, anything lemon, orange, mint etc? Now in to the review, since almost all my hair fell out, whats left is lame 2a waves.

It is high porosity, easily weighed down. This for me is a one and done w exception of leave in conditioner depending on season, humidity level and if I blow out or air dry. I try to wait 3 days in between washes.

I (used to) stay away from scalp bc this will weigh down my easily influenced hair. This would give moisturization, not go dull, frizzy or dry during those days, refresh easily. It adds awesome texture and amazing shine.

The smell is wonderful for those that can use the sweet coconut fragrance I will be happy to be your guinea pig should you decide its worth it to include us people with fragrance and common allergen triggers in your amazing lineup.

All of the awapuhi used in their products is still harvested there today. NOW THAT’S IMPRESSIVE! If this tidbit of info doesn’t impress you, I DARE YOU TOO GO AHEAD, USE THE PRODUCT. USE OF PM PRODUCT AND THEN TELL ME THAT SELF-SUSTAINING AWAPUHI HARVESTED PRODUCTS AREN’T WORTH THE 40+ YEARS THAT HAVE BEEN PUT INTO THEM.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis is my favorite conditioner! After applying this conditioner, I leave it on for 60 seconds before rinsing it out. When I apply it, I start at the ends, work my way up, and stop when I to about 1 inch away from my roots.

I love that it has the Super Skinny serum infused in it, and some of it gets left behind when you rinse it out. This is absolutely NOT a complaint. The film is just the iconic Super Skinny serum attached to each strand, just like when you get a chemical blowout, plus it’s a great heat protectant.

It also helps your hair to dry faster but without drying out your hair (if that makes sense). I don’t even need to use leave-in cream after I shower anymore because of this! I cannot explain how soft and moisturized my hair feels when it dries now.

If you have severe bleach damage, I highly recommend this stuff. But again, do not apply this conditioner to your roots unless you have coarse hair. The film that is left behind is water soluble (I checked the ingredients), so it will come out with your next wash and will absolutely NOT cause build up of any kind.

I’ve been using this conditioner for months now and my hair is still growing long and strong.

I’m a fan of the Bumble and Bumble mouse but it is pretty pricy. I have been giving more low-cost options a try lately and decided to buy this on a whim. It 100% smells like lemon cake. I don’t mind that, but I was curious what the whole scent debate was about.

When you do start to dispense the product, a lot comes out at once. It is a really light mouse, but it is also kind of thick. For having fine, 3B hair, I was worried. I worked it into my hair and combed it through.

My hair was really wet as a note. Then I scrunched it with a microfiber towel and let my hair do its thing. It is really soft and bouncy and is holding its shape without being crunchy. So far so good.

I haven’t used it for too long to speak to it drying out my hair but based on first impression, I really like it!.

This mousse is INCREDIBLE!!! When you first apply it can feel drying and a bit sticky, but once it dries you can scrunch out the crunch and it leaves you with soft, defined, and decently held waves/curls.

I found that this is THE BEST product I have ever used for air drying my hair. It comes out soft, not stringy or crunchy like other mousses. It also hold my curl all day. The next day I just use a spray water bottle, wet my hair, and scrunch in a little more mousse, let it air dry, and my results are just as good as day one.

Best second day results I have ever had. I pair this with the Cake Balm Shell 5-in-1. This is a product I will forever have in my stash. I’m very excited to try more products by Cake.

I’ve used mousse in my hair for years. My mother got this mousse for herself and gave it to me because her hair is more on the wavy side and didn’t really work for her hair so she thought I should give it a try.

I was super excited- it smells great, it has cute packaging. However, once I started applying it to my hair I realized it wasn’t going to work for me either. It made my hair feel instantly dry, it matted up my curls and did not define them and made my skin itch.

I decided to give it a couple more tries, putting in different amounts of it and more moisturizing products and still, my hair felt dry and clumpy using this product. Would not recommend, there are many more mousses in the same price range that work better.

I have mixed feelings about this product, but mostly love. First , I must say that you have to use it according to instructions or it will not work at all like it is supposed to. Your hair should be damp, not wet.

I absolutely love the fact that it clumps and defines my curls, and the hold lasts all day! It works alone to define and moisturize. When I used leave in, it clumped up with this product. Don’t do that! Lol.

The only cons I have is that if you use this daily, it will build up on your hair and in your scalp if your hair is short. I find myself having to wash every 3 days or my hair is gross and no good. If I could find a way to refresh my hair on day 2 and 3 without using more product, it would be great.

Also, this mousse gives a really hard hold for me. Your curls will look amazing, but will not be soft. There are videos posted on The Doux IG page for product use instructions which is great! My curls are type 3B/C, although this mousse works on all curl types.

I recommend this product for anyone who is growing out their hair from a barber cut, and anyone who needs definition and doesn’t like to use a lot of different products to achieve a great style.

Oh. my. gosh!! I have never had a product work like this before! I have fine 3b/3c hair that has issues with volume at the root. I get my hair cut and colored by a curly hair specialist. Using this one product has me looking like I just left her salon.

She typically has me lay down so my hair hangs and diffuses it and then breaks my curls up my hand before sending me on my way. I’m too lazy to do all that on my own so I look for a product to get me as close as possible.

This does that! After I detangle I pump a couple pumps in my hands and then work through my hair that is sectioned in 2. I let my hair air dry. My hair has perfect curls that are firm (not crunchy) and healthy.

There’s volume at the root after I shake it out when fully dry. I decided to use this product on a 92 degree humid day in Pittsburgh. I had the windows down in my car and was sweating up a storm and my hair looks marvelous.

I love the scent, it smells like fresh peaches to me. Not the artificial peach scent but like you just baked a peach cobbler. I cannot say enough good things about this product. It’s absolutely a holy grail.

The only downside for me is the pump. I find that product leaks down the bottle unless I tip the bottle directly into my hand which is annoying because I have to hold the bottle and get it slimy with leftover product.

I could just have gotten a bad bottle, but it will not defer me from purchasing this as long as The Doux makes it!.

I have thick heavy waves/curls. The product worked well when I used it with a leave in conditioner. The day I was in a rush and didn’t put a leave in my hair was course and felt dehydrated. It doesn’t help to clump your curls on it’s own, but was easy to style and mold my curls with my brush.

Dried quickly and smelled good. I didn’t get a chance to use it for a long period of time to see the overall quality. The bottle untwisted just enough while under my sink and spilled. Luckily I had it in a container.

The bottle easily untwist. You should keep the product right side up and make sure it doesn’t knock over. Unfortunately it’s the bottle quality that keeps me from buying this again. I did hope to see how the long term use would go for my hair.

I LOVE this mousse. My curls are incredibly difficult to define. My hair is thick and coarse in the back, but curlier and less coarse in the front. It’s impossible to find something that can smooth out the back, while not being too heavy and crunchy for the front.

THIS IS THE UNICORN. It defines ALL of my hair, boosting and smoothing my curls. The frizz is gone. My hair is super soft and touchable when it dries. NO CRUNCH. NO STICKINESS. The hold lasts FOR DAYS.

When I first bought this mousse, I didn’t expect much for the price. I didn’t expect to find the holy grail, but I did. This pic is day two. My hair was stuffed into a baseball cap with the ponytail twisted into a tight bun all day (8 hours) and it still looks and feels soft, curly and beautiful.

I can go 3-5 days between washing and styling (depending on what I’m doing for those days) and still look great. I’ve tried different curl creams, gels, mousses, lotions, potions, etc at EVERY price point and nothing has come close to this mousse right here.

Simple, Inexpensive Silicone-free Mousse That works Great for My 2B-3A Curls. It Keeps My Hair Nice And Clumped, And Looks Soft And Voluminous After I Scrunch Out The Crunch. On Days When I Want Extra Hold, Definition, And Need Some Frizz Control, I’ll Layer Aussie Instant Freeze Gel Over It.

And Again, My Hair Looks Great After Scrunching The Crunch! However, I Can’t Understand Why Someone Would Purchase A 2-pack Fo $7. 19 When You Can Get A Single Can Of The Same Size For 2. 99. Also, Someone Mentioned It Has DMDM Hydantoin, but It Releases The Same Amount Of Formaldehyde That You’ll Find In A Piece Of Fruit.

Unless You Have An Allergy To It (Which Is Common), There’s No Reason To Fear This Ingredient, As It Is Safe In Such Small Quantities. There Is No Actual Evidence That It Causes Hair Loss, And It’s Actually Used In Many Cosmetics.

Anywho, I Like It!.

This product holds curl but contains both paragons and sulphate. I wanted something free from these ingredients and purchased on Amazon. I had been using LUS brand but it’s expensive. I noted no ingredients listed on Amazon which should have been my first clue.

But, on various websites and Instagram, this is listed as “curly girl approved”. It DRIES my hair and so I came here, to look at the ingredients. It’s going to the garbage now that I know why my hair is so dried out after use.

Please be more open about your products and their ingredients on other websites. I wasted money and would have made proper selections had I known. I think this is your idea in order to push and sell your products.
