Hair conditioner is a product that is used to improve the texture and appearance of hair. It is often used after shampooing to help detangle and smooth the hair. Conditioner can be used on all hair types, but it is especially beneficial for those with frizzy hair.
Frizzy hair is often caused by dryness, damage, or lack of moisture. Conditioner can help to hydrate and nourish the hair, making it softer, smoother, and more manageable. There are many different types of conditioners available on the market, so it is important to choose one that is specifically designed for frizzy hair.

I’ve been using John Frieda leave in conditioner now for years!!It was something that I stocked pile because I never liked running out. The scent was very clean smelling, I always get complemented on how good my hair smelled.
Conditioning and detangling it was the best!!My hair always felt full of body never weighed down !!!The stuff was just the awesome!!!Now since you change the formula, my hair feels greasy, it’s far from full , it has zero body!!My hair doesn’t feel healthy it feels dry, and the sent to the new formula is awful!!Please, and I mean that sincerely, go back to the old formula…I’ve been shopping around to find something to replace it and I haven’t had no luck.
Developed for dry, damaged or chemically processed hair, No Frizz Leave-in Conditioner promotes optimum moisture levels without oils or silicones. It also detangles and smoothes hair, leaving it looking healthy and shiny while protecting against surface damage and breakage from sun exposure and heat styling.
The Leave-In features Polyfluoroester-the first new anti-frizz technology in 30 years-to effectively block humidity for beautifully soft, smooth, frizz-free hair. A must-have for highly processed or colored hair.
I have extremely thick 4a-b hair that coils when wet. My hair is also extremely dry. So after washing my hair drys within minutes it seems. Hence, I am prone to breakage. I just tried this out today and I already know it works for my hair.
It seems to actually get into my hair and not just sit on it. Its been over 12 hours and it still moisturized, usually I have to add something before bed but no I am all good. Now, the only problem 4oz for 27usd? Honestly, that’s a little pricey especially when you are Black/African American and you have thick hair.
I ordered this product accidentally (I meant to order the Nourishing Oil), but I decided to keep it and give it a try based on the other reviews. I use the ant-frizz shampoo and conditioner, as well, so I thought it was be interesting to see how they all worked together.
I like it- I like it more than most of the conditioners I’ve tried- but it’s not magic. It left my hair feeling *incredibly* soft (really, really wonderfully soft), which is unusual for my coarse, curly hair.
And the other reviewers are right; it has a pleasant, light fragrance. But it didn’t really help any more with frizz than the normal shampoo + conditioner, even when I used a bit more of it and focused on the middle-to-end of my hair.
Perhaps it’s optimized for finer curly hair? Regardless, I wouldn’t recommend this as an anti-frizz conditioner for coarse hair. If you’re mainly looking for a lightweight, lightly scented, delightfully softening conditioner, though, this one is excellent.
I bought this over a month ago, and I have been using it nearly every day. I previously used NAK’s leave in condition for 1yr and have that to compare against. I was keen to try something new with Living Proof from the raving reviews, but I have to admit that the performance is average.
It does reduce the overall frizz of my hair, but not by a significant amount (definitely less effective than my previous leave-ins/oils). I also find it difficult to spread the product through my hair as it usually clumps my hair strands.
Found the best way to do it on slightly damp hair + comb through.
Olaplex N ° 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner is the only professional conditioner capable of guaranteeing a reconstructing action on the hair. Repairs and moisturizes the hair without weighing it down.
Olaplex N ° 5 is the conditioner thanks to which you can take care of the restructuring of your hair even at home, not only during treatments in the salon. The exclusive Olaplex professional products are able to reconnect the sulfur bridges (bisulfide bonds) broken inside the hair as a result of coloring, heat, continuous exposure to chemical substances and various mechanical stresses.
Olaplex N ° 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner is a balm with an extremely compact consistency, comparable to an intensive treatment. Apply to damp, clean and towel-dried hair, massage over all lengths and leave for 2-5 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly. For an even more intense molecular reconstruction, use it after Olaplex N ° 3 and after Olaplex N ° 4 Shampoo.
I was someone who used to think that nothing could actually repair the bonds of your hair from the inside, especially because it went against everything I ever learned in cosmetology school, but that was 30 years ago and technology has changed, the proof is in the chemistry.
I completely clarified my hair and then started using only Olaplex products exclusively. I used the entire line as recommended for damaged hair for 4 months, including number one in my hair color touch ups, and now I am a firm believer that it really does repair bonds as they claim because there is no other explanation for the positive change in my mid back length, color treated, and highlighted hair.
I went from dull hair that was always tangled and broke so easily, to much healthier, stronger, shiny, soft, full hair. Despite having a lot of hair, it’s very fine and before Olaplex, I could never achieve fullness without using a ton of product which was counterproductive.
Usually conditioners, treatments, and masks, would weigh my hair down, but not Olaplex, it gives me the natural fullness I want without any styling product or weighing my hair down. And their purple shampoo, I can’t say enough good things about it either! It is super concentrated so you need only the tiniest bit for the best results and the fact that the other products help color last longer, you don’t need to use it as often as other toning shampoos, but when they say leave it on no more than two minutes, they mean it! If you use too much or leave it in too long, it will tint your hair rather than just tone it.
The only Olaplaex product I don’t use is the oil. Other than that, they would have to pry Olaplex from my hands. I highly recommend the entire line and starting with completely clarified hair prior to starting and use Olaplex exclusively for a few months to achieve the best results.
I love the Olaplex No◦5 conditioner. I normally use the Redken Acid Bonding Concentrate line (shampoo, conditioner and the leave in serum), but when all the stores in my area were sold out of the Redken conditioner, I went & picked up the No◦5 conditioner at Sephora.
The Olaplex No◦5 is pretty much the exact same product as the Redken acid bonding concentrate conditioner, which is SO great! I’m currently using the No◦5 conditioner with the Redken acid bonding shampoo and leave in serum from the product line and also with the Redken one United leave in spray.
I could barely tell a difference between the two conditioners which is also great! The only major differences I noticed between the Olaplex No◦5 & the Redken Acid Bonding conditioner are the smells; Olaplex conditioner has barely any scent while the Redken conditioner does.
The other difference I noticed between the two involves how much conditioner I use. With the No◦5, less is more; the conditioner is thicker and is easier to apply because it spreads throughout my hair easier in comparison to the Redken product.
The Redken acid bonding concentrate conditioner feels lighter and requires you to apply more since it doesn’t spread throughout my hair with such ease like the Olaplex does. Therefore in conclusion, if you’re looking for a substitute to the Redken Acid Bonding concentrate conditioner that is just like it but with no scents, is thicker and requires you to use less because its easier to spread throughout your hair, then the Olaplex No◦5 bond maintenance conditioner should be your first go to.
I’ve been having issues with thinning and breakage for a couple of years now and it really does seem like I’ve tried almost everything. I kept my expectations low but since a lot of friends have used and liked Olaplex I decided that it would be worth it to try and so far it has been.
Obviously it can’t cure thinning due to stress/genetics but the texture of my hair has approved tenfold since I started using the No 0, 3,4,and5. Since my hair is quite fine and thin I use the bond building treatment and hair perfecter 1-2 times a week for the past month.
Honestly I am stunned at the results. Since it’s not a permanent fix but a treatment, you do have to continue using it. I did read somewhere that there’s no way for it to permanently fix your already damaged hair but it can definitely treat it while the damage grows out.
It doesn’t weigh my hair down, there’s no apparent residue, and it felt healthier and looked healthier after only the first try and has consistently improved since. I’ve tried so many products that just seem to sit on top of my hair and reflect light instead of actually improving anything texturally.
I was also stunned at the quality of the product, not just in effect but a little really does go a long way in each one of my products. It smells and feels amazing. I could clearly go on. I’m just so pleasantly stunned! I had read some very negative reviews and was prepared to just take a chance and I’m thrilled and impressed with the results.
It’s made me finally feel like I can get my hair back to something I love again. I may just copy and paste this review on the other three products I ordered so if you see it, it’s not a fake review, I’m just thrilled and lazy!.
A lightweight, leave-in conditioning spray scientifically proven to decrease frizz for up to 48 hours. * Locks out humiditity to minimize frizz. This lightweight leave-in conditioner locks in hydration and locks out humidity that causes frizz.
Rosehip, argan, and coconut oils seal the hair cuticle to minimize frizz and enhance smoothness, shine, and manageability. It’s also perfect for nourishing and detangling hair right out of the shower.
Formulated with 98percent naturally derived ingredients.
I got this as part of a gift set. It does detangle your hair and make it somewhat smoother with blow drying or air drying. I have very thick, coarse hair and I regularly get highlights so I found that I had to use a lot on my ends to see a difference (keep spraying until it’s almost saturated).
That being said, it didn’t leave my hair greasy. I removed one star because there is no heat protection advertised with this product. I think in this day and age all detangling products should have some form of heat or at least UV protection.
I removed another star because, for the price, it’s a little underwhelming. I’m not a fan of the smell, but that’s personal (it’s a herbal/fresh sort of smell, not bad but not for me) and the smell doesn’t really linger at all.
But I’ve used drugstore leave-in conditioners that work just as well. I know the ingredients are cleaner but a lot of drugstore brands have been releasing cleaner products lately, and I’m just not seeing results that justify the price with this one.
I much prefer the Bumble & Bumble hair primer. It smells amazing and has heat and UV protection, and it feels like it’s worth the price. I will definitely use the Briogeo one up but I won’t go out and buy it separately.
I think this one might work better for finer hair since it has a more lightweight consistency. Oh, and a side note: this definitely works better if you pair it with the Briogeo Don’t Despair hair mask.
One of the biggest claims is that the leave in conditioner Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Sprais an ultra lightweight spray. I definitely 100% agree with this. After showering, I spray this all through the length of my hair and it never feels heavy or weighed down.
It also never leaves a greasy residue on my hair nor is there any nasty build up, which I am a fan of! It also has a fresh, light scent which I love. One of the most important things that I noticed was that it helped to tame my frizz to some extent, although it did not fully get rid of all my frizz (but this is pretty tough to do with my hair).
Along with taming some of the frizz, my hair definitely feels softer after using it as well. To add to that, I do notice a shine to my hair after using the spray and styling it, which I can’t be mad at it.
Is the shine blinding? No, but it is a nice subtle shine. I also notice that it helps to keep in the moisture that my hair already has, although it does not necessarily add any extra moisture to my hair.
But I will say though, I almost never use a single hair care product on its own and always tend to combine at least two products together to achieve what I am looking for. In addition, I always use hair masks at least once a week if not more to help add moisture to my hair and repair any damage.
However, having said that, I do like the results this leave-in conditioning spray produced. In a nutshell, it did help tame my frizz some, it did add a subtle shine, scent is pleasant and fresh, it does not weigh down my hair, it is not greasy, it helps to keep SOME of the moisture locked in, and it made my hair soft.
All things that I love and welcome with any hair product!!! Overall, I actually liked this leave-in conditioner and I do plan on continuing to use it. The question is: would I recommend this to others? For sure! It never hurts to try new things, but I would recommend pairing this product with another hair care product (e.
g. , an oil or another leave in conditioner) to really optimize the effects.
Condition and untangle dehydrated hair with the Moroccanoil Moisturizing Conditioner. This gentle formula for daily use leaves the hair softer, more manageable, and facilitates the creation of styles and hairstyles.
Its formula based on argan oil rich in antioxidants, vitamin A, vitamin E and red seaweed achieves maximum hydration in all types of hair. Does not alter the color. No sulfates, phosphates or parabens.
HOW TO USE After the shampoo, remove the excess water and apply the Moroccanoil Moisturizing Conditioner from the middle of the hair to the tips. Allow the product to act for 1-2 minutes and rinse well.
Welp I’ve found my forever conditioner/shampoo! I received a sample of each in a promo and tried it figuring it wouldn’t do much since my hair is dry, damaged, has been sorely mistreated for decades and quite frankly I’ve been debating shaving it all off like I did when I was 15.
But alas, I was pleasantly surprised after just one use. My hair literally looked and felt like I had been to the salon. Soft, shiny, smooth, dare I say…healthy even. I immediately purchased a bottle of the conditioner and shampoo.
It has made such a visible difference that even my 13 year old daughter noticed and said how good my hair looks. And anyone with a teenage girl knows getting an unsolicited compliment is like finding the mythical unicorn.
Yes, the bottles are small and somewhat pricey BUT I quickly learned you don’t need much product to get the desired results. I’m used to slathering on all types of conditioners, hair masks, serums, oils, potions and that’s not the case here.
I am a total convert and will never use another brand again. Ever.
Tonight I tried this conditioner for the first time in my life, and this was seriously the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am a brand new woman. I haven’t checked the ingredients list, but I am honestly convinced holy water is an ingredient.
I have thin hair, but a lot of it, and it is as long as my waist. Because of that, normally when combing my hair while it was wet I would always struggle to comb through lots of knots, BUT NOT TONIGHT THANKS TO THE MOST AMAZING HAIR PRODUCT I HAVE EVER STUMBLED UPON IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.
For the first time in my entire life, I had no trouble combing my hair while it was damp from my shower. And after using chi silk infusion as a heat protectant and blow-drying my hair, it felt like I had just left s beauty salon! My hair has never felt so smooth and moisturized in my entire life! I literally feel like I have a brand new head of hair and this is so unreal.
The best part was I didn’t even need to use anywhere near as much conditioner as I normally would. honestly I think I used more shampoo during my shower than I did conditioner, and I don’t even use that much shampoo! That has never happened to me before! This is expensive but it is truly a miracle.
Whenever I finish this bottle, I am definitely going to order the largest size! I never thought anything so amazing could ever happen in my life.
A smoothing conditioner to control thick and coarse hair. Containing hydrolysed wheat protein and avocado oil to put an end to frizz without weighing the hair down. Directions of use Apply to freshly washed hair.
Lovely smell. does what it says, leaves follicles clean and smooth, makes blow drying faster. Since using I no longer need an additional serum before drying. Highly recommended and will repuchase. Generous bottle size too.

I don’t have long hair, but it’s extremely thick and wavy, and I’m always hunting for a good conditioner. Usually I’m disappointed because they aren’t moisturizing enough or I have to use so much of it that I go through a bottle super-fast.
This is my first Amika purchase and I’m loving it!! I don’t have to use a ton of it, and it leaves my hair extremely soft and not frizzy at all. It doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave it greasy-feeling, either.
I am impressed and will definitely be checking out other products. Oh, the colorful packaging is satisfying as well. It’s like art for my shower.
The best shampoo around. I’ve used high end to drugstore and the velveteen shampoo is hands down the best. My hair is so soft that my family can’t resist touching it. I have wavy hair and I blow dry it from time to time.
This keeps my hair in fabulous condition. Next time I am going to order the jumbo size. Folks if you like soft, sexy hair then the velveteen shampoo is the one for you. Even my hair stylist uses these products and gave my hair the stamp of approval.
Color-Safe Moisturizing Conditioner. Gently detangles and reconstructs hair while infusing it with Argan Oil, Keratin, Fatty Acids and Proteins. This formula is safe for color treated hair and free of sulfates, phosphates and parabens.
This luxurious cream helps restore moisture and repair chemically damaged hair, conditioning hair back to its natural health.
I absolutely love this conditioner. It is a life changer. I recently used Olaplex to try to fix some damage (stylist claims it is the best for damage repair). Let me tell you, my hair felt like straw after using Olaplex conditioner (and yes – I did the Olaplex 1&2 treatments in the salon, then used Olaplex No.
3 and then Olaplex shampoo and conditioner). Hair felt like straw! So, I went back to this moisture repair shampoo and conditioner by Moroccanoil – my hair felt silky again! Not to mention, it is THE BEST SMELL IN THE WORLD! Nothing compares.
I just smell my hair for hours after using this lol. Just buy it. You won’t be disappointed. I’ll never switch to any other shampoo or conditioner.
The musky smell is overpowering and you smell it throughout the day. I had an allergic reaction to the strong smell. It also does not combat frizz. I’ve used Moroccanoil for years but hadn’t tried the shampoo and conditioner in a while and the smell and product have definitely changed and not for the better.
I’ve contacted customer service twice now for a return and they have not yet replied. The return process does not work on the website even though they say they offer returns. Hopefully this review will trigger a reply so I can return this.
It’s too expensive to keep when I’m unable to use it.
I switched to this from the curl enhancing system for more moisture, but this has left my hair feeling like straw. I know sometimes it takes a while to get the full effect when switching the formula, so I’ve given it just over a month.
It’s still not giving my hair moisture it needs, I also use the Moroccan oil, which I love. I wish I would have returned it within the 30 days but I wanted to give it time to work. I have long, curly (wavy) hair with full highlights.
I’m just really disappointed, especially for the price I paid.

*I received this item for free via Influenster for review purposes* After the Weightless protection mist, i was excited to try this Frizz Control Oil from the The Good Stuff x Influenster Voxbox. I had really enjoyed the mist and was surprised to find I liked this one even more! Like the other, this product smells amazing and the design is both beautiful and functional.
Frizz is one of my biggest issues with my hair (and has been throughout my life) and I’ve rarely found a product that tames it. While it doesn’t eliminate the frizz entirely (though i suspect it might make an even bigger difference used longterm), it helps more than most products I’ve used! This is definitely a new must-have in my list of favourite vegan beauty products.
I am absolutely so happy with this product! It’s so light weight not oily at all either and when you apply it’s almost as though it’s not there. It also does what it states and give my hair life while eliminating frizz especially when it’s straightened I’m so amazed! I love the fact this company has opened my eyes as well to the issues of polluting our oceans with our toxins! The fact that if women switch to no rinse conditioners we could save billions of gallons of water truly amazing! I would totally recommend there products and I am so grateful I got the opportunity to try them complimentary definitely will be buying from now on! Been eyeballing this company since I seen them enter target! Love the packaging and the simplicity of their label along with all the information it carriers.
I’ve been using this hair oil for the past few months and it’s truly became an essential in my hair care routine! I apply this product after my shower to the ends of my hair and I use the excess oil through the rest of my hair.
A little goes a long way and if too much is used it can make your hair oily! But it’s definitely a good choice for dry, damaged hair! I wasn’t a fan of the scent but after application I don’t notice!.

I was so happy and excited because this doesn’t have isopropyl alcohol and my hair is already very dry. I’ve used it so far two times and today I look at the ingredients and sure enough it’s not the same as on the Ulta web/app.
They have now added isopropyl alcohol and other damaging ingredients. It’s a 10 was so great when they first came out but they got greedy. They’ve changed ingredients in all their products and add bad fillers to make more product, and has formaldehyde releasers.
They might be cruelty free, but they obviously don’t care about our health, as long as it’s making them money.
Honestly this review is not about the ITS A 10 MirACLE. I couldn’t find any information about this product, HAIR PlUS I don know if any of you have heard about it? Ok, but this is a really game changer , I had so much damage on ma hair do to too much dyed and bleaching my hair.
And because of this and part of my immune system desease. I completely lost so much hair and is thinning. But since I started using this products they have help me tremendously in repairing my hair, it grew super long and strong.
It took me about a year to grew my hair. This products are natural, and chemical free. So if you are loosing hair or just trying to repair it to its health back. I really recommend this hair products.
( I personally used the kit called for loosing hair) their website is , www. hairplususa. com it was founded by Dominican woman. ❤️.
I was on a search to find something that would work on my COVID hair? Since I couldn’t get to the salon to have highlights, I colored my hair at home. And it’s awful! It turned every color except what it was supposed to? Even orange and green! Of course, I kept putting different colors on trying to fix what I had screwed up.
Now it’s very dry and still 3 different colors! I’ve tried numerous expensive shampoos and conditioners to NO avail. I even got 6” cut off last month and still can’t get a comb through my wet hair. But Miracle 10 is truly a Miracle! No problem combing it out now and it looks great when dry without looking dried out.
Redken Frizz Dismiss Conditioner 33. 8 oz Redken’s Frizz Dismiss Conditioner features a gentle, Sodium Chloride-Free formula and sustainably sourced Babassu Oil to tame frizzy hair, increase smoothness and enhance shine.
This conditioner moisturizes, detangles and protects the hair from frizz while providing softness and shine. Frizz-fighting, Sodium Chloride-Free, Sulfate-Free conditioner for all hair types. Provides enhanced smoothness and shine.
Very happy with the results of this shampoo and conditioner. I have very long, fine 2c/3a hair that’s super frizzy and tangles easily. I’ve been testing other anti-frizz products and haven’t found anything that ACTUALLY worked so my expectations weren’t high for this one either.
But so far, this is working great and way better than any other anti-frizz duo I’ve ever tried. Both the shampoo and conditioner are THICK which is every frizzy haired girls dream. I wouldn’t say it completely gets rid of all frizz, but my hair is silkier and I can actually let it naturally air dry without looking like Hermione Granger which is all I can ask for.
The scent is ok. It smells like generic shampoo, but it doesn’t linger so I don’t really care. The size is great and will last me a while. Only complaint about the bottle is the top is a little loose.
And because the product is so thick, it takes a little extra oomph to get it out and then the bottle stays squeezed. I don’t know if it’s just the type of plastic they used or what, but it’s a little annoying if you are easily annoyed by those types of things lol.
Regardless of those very nitpicky complaints, Would hands down repurchase.
I have spiral curly, frizzy, dry hair that requires heavy conditioning and moisturizing. I have tried so many brands and Frizz Dismiss works the best for my hair. There are 2 cons for me: 1 is the price.
(Yes, prices are high on everything right now, but Redken was much more reasonably priced until Loreal bought it out years ago). The 2nd is that the conditioner is hard to get out of the bottle. I buy the liter size and have to leave it upside down (even when bottle is full).
Then I remove the cap (vs using the normal pop up opener) to squeeze out the conditioner. Kind of a pain, but worth the effort since it helps my hair.
I have medium-length fine and straight hair. In the wintertime I definitely have issues with static and frizz and this does help with that. I also noticed having less problems with flyaways when I used this.
It has that quintessential salon smell which I like and it did make my hair feel really soft. My only complaint is it made my hair kind of limp and flat. I’m sure that’s only because of my hair type being pretty fine and stick straight.
I imaging someone with more hair or more texture to their hair wouldn’t notice that as much. All in all its a good product in my opinion and it does what it says it’s going to do.
After shampooing, take an adequate amount of conditioner. 2. Apply it on damp hair, starting from mid-length and all the way down to the ends. 3. Leave on for 2-3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Argan Argon oil Apple cidar vinegar Almond oil Age Group: adult.
The Matrix Biolage SmoothProof Conditioner works to tame frizzy, hard to control hair to give you super sleek, shiny locks that are easier to manage. Containing extracts of the Camellia Flower, this deeply nourishing conditioner features self-adjusting humidity blocking technology to reduce the chance of frizz.
Your hair will be left with a glossy, long lasting shine and smooth texture. Directions for use: After using Matrix Biolage Smoothproof Shampoo, massage Matrix Biolage Smoothproof Conditioner into wet hair.
Leave in for 1-3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately.
I have long, thick, balayaged hair that lives way more of a fabulous life than I do. I don’t skimp on shampoo and for that reason I have always liked all the Biolage shampoos I’ve tried. They are high quality and come in very nice sized bottles for the price.
That is why I was so very eager to try smooth proof because my hair is also wavy and without some taming, it can get pretty wild. I first tried this shampoo a few times without the conditioner (This is me most days for sake of time and also to avoid build up) and I was so happy with the results.
It did not weight my hair down at all. The wave was more cohesiveness and it was soft and so shiny! I do use with the conditioner at least once a week and that is where you really see the smooth get to another level.
However, it didn’t weight it all completely down, I still had plenty of lift at my crown without any real styling (Which I generally avoid) Like all the other Biolage shampoos I’ve tried, it lathers well.
You don’t need much. I also really love the floral scent, reminds me of orange mlossom. I’ve been using it for more than a month now and my hair still feels great. I’ve tried so many other smoothing shampoos and they can build up over time, so glad they added this shampoo to the line.
The shampoo smells just like the conditioner. Though the shampoo is clear it dose feel like it leaves something behind maybe to help the smoothing so it doesn’t feel absolutely clean. It’s not clarifying.
Using it alone just washing hair it didn’t do much of a good job smoothing however paired with the Smooth Proof system it did fine in my hair. With others In my family 3a,3b 3c it worked fine at helping smooth hair with only a shampoo but not for a full day.
But right after and an air dry it stayed pretty smooth. The cap is yellow not to be confused with the conditioner. I believe it works better when you have to do a full wash. Shampoo, conditioner, leave in.
maybe oil. A refresh with some water just sprayed to rehydrate. On my hair it can last about 2 days no excessive frizz with just a little spritzing to rehydrate. After a light pat and squeezing I could definitely see some definition in my curls.
Right out the shower nothing added. Not super smooth because I have very curly hair but I was impressed. I was very impressed with the Smooth Proof system as a whole. All together the products worked nicely in my vey curly hair.
Though it did not completely keep the frizz away it did a very very good job. I will keep using and even recommend it. I’d say for a type 3-4a hair this would be a good system of washing and conditioning for a smooth curl defining look.
If you are not pulling or fluffing hair the whole system will work fine.

I have extremely dry hair especially in the winter time. Not to mention all the processing I’ve done throughout my life. This shampoo seems to help replenish some of that moisture that im seriously lacking.
First off i love the new shape of the bottles. It sort of resembles the bottles that childrens amoxicillin comes in, but larger of course. Its definitely easier to grip than the old Garnier bottles. The packaging is vibrant and eye catching.
It definitely makes u think of the tropics before you even open the bottle. When u do flip it open the fragrance is phenomenal. It smells like natural papaya and delicious. A little bit goes a long way with this shampoo, it doesn’t take much to work it into a rich lather.
Pros- Aesthetically pleasing Fragrance is long-lasting and fresh Rinses clean with no residue left behind Bottles are easy to grip ahold of Leaves hair quenched and clean Cons- Not sulfate free I would most definitely reccommend this shampoo to anyone with damaged hair the only drawback is it containing sulfate.
I just got my hair colored again so i will have to temporarily go to a sulfate free formula, but will return to this after a few weeks go by. * i received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.
These thoughts are my own after several uses of the product*.
I’ve been using this shampoo and conditioner combo for a couple of weeks and then styling my 3C hair either curly or blowing it out straight. I usually wash my hair 2X/week and condition every other day unless it’s straight.
I really like the bottle shape and feel, and the fact that it is eco friendly. I reuse bottles for other purposes sometimes and these would make great containers for household cleaning supplies. I also love the smell of the shampoo.
It’s like a mix of apple, pear, and coconut. The conditioner is more coconut heavy but the combination is great. I have even gotten compliments on how good my hair smells. I do think they have given my hair a moisture boost – and a little goes a long way for the shampoo.
Sadly, I have to use a lot conditioner to get the silky in-shower feel that I get from other conditioners. I have long hair so I generally use a lot of conditioner but this product isn’t as effective in detangling as some others.
Overall, I like this shampoo/conditioner combo, especially for days I go curly when I need extra moisture.
I’m really loving the Garnier Fructis Smoothing Treat Shampoo with Avocado Extract. It works great on my dry hair. Also it keeps my hair soft thru out the week until I’m ready 2 wash it again w. o getting so tangled.
I also tried the shampoo & conditioner on my 2 year old daughter and she has curly hair but dries up and tangles when she sleeps. It made her curls so pretty and soft and waaay less tangled. Prior 2 sampling the shampoo and conditioner I was not aware Garnier made this kind of product.
It is vegan and no sulfates. I will definitely be re purchasing as well as look for more hair products from Garnier Fructis with Avocado Extract. I finally found a hair product to tame my dryness and bring back life 2 my hair.
I recommend trying this shampoo and conditioner if you have curly, wavy, dry and damaged hair. I think it works wonders. I was getting tired of all the other shampoos&conditioners from stripping my hair and making my hair feel more dry than what it is.

Professional frizz-fighting moisturizing solution Frizz Dismiss protects and helps control the excess puffy, frizzy hair caused by humidity or heat. Increases manageability, while enhancing smoothness and providing a shiny hair look and feel of hair.
I purchased this product last year while the company was having a sale. I never tried Redken products before and read good reviews on it so I decided to give it a try. I noticed right off the bat it smelled like a clean and fresh perfume.
I am a big fan of scented hair products so it was a plus for me. As I lathered it into my hair, it foamed up pretty well and seemed to give it a good clean. After I had dried my hair, I noticed my hair appeared more shiny and soft.
I have naturally curly hair so when I blow dry and straighten it, there is still normally a lot of frizz. This shampoo definitely helped take away a lot of the frizziness in my hair, but not all of it.
There was still a small amount of frizziness in my hair but definitely better than what it was before I started using this shampoo. I had actually stopped using this product only because of it’s lasting power.
I don’t wash my hair everyday, I normally like to wash it every two to three days and I noticed the next day, my hair looked as if I hadn’t washed it for three days. My roots were so greasy. Yes, dry shampoo can help with that, but I didn’t want to have to drown my hair in product the very next day after washing it the day before.
Overall, I liked this shampoo for the frizz control, but if I would have been able to go a couple more days without it looking like I had to wash it the next day, I would keep using it.
I have curly hair that craves moisture, so this shampoo seems like a good fit. The shampoo itself is very thick, so it’s probably best for someone with thick/ curly hair because it would weigh down thin hair.
I like the size of the bottle. It fits nicely in my shower caddy shelf. I do not particularly like where the opening of the hole is to dispense the product. The top opens differently than I expected.
It would also be nicer if the shampoo and conditioner bottle were different from each other. I am blind without my contacts or eyeglasses ( which I never would shower while wearing) and the bottles are near identical.
If one bottle had a darker label that would help. Overall, this is a good product and it will definitely keep static and frizz away.
I have a very dry scalp but also wavy frizzy hair. I typically use dandruff specific shampoo and conditioner as that is all I’ve found that works for my hair and scalp. I was very excited to try something new and so far have been very pleased with the results.
I like to shampoo twice since I only wash weekly (once to clean out dirt/product buildup and again to really clean my scalp). The scent of this shampoo was very pleasant and I loved the thick texture-not watery at all.
It also creates a good lather which is important to really get my scalp feeling clean. I’m on day 2 of my hair and so far my scalp has no itching and no greasy feeling which can happen after not washing your hair daily.
I styled my hair with only some heat protectant and my curls were left with no frizz. Day 2 still no frizz which is great!.
Frizz doesn’t stand a chance with this smoothing conditioner designed to strengthen damaged hair and reduce breakage. Shea butter and hibiscus oil help moisturize, fight frizz and seal split-ends for smooth strands that feel reinforced and strong.
With Fiberbond Complex An innovative technology that strengthens the hair fibers to reduce breakage HOW TO USE Apply to wet hair. Leave on for 1-2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Ideal for daily use. For best results, use the HASK Shea Butter & Hibiscus Oil collection.
My introduction to hask products were their little packets of deep conditioning treatments. I have used the conditioning treatments with excellent results for my very dry hair so needless to say after seeing the shampoo and conditioner at CVS I decided it was time to try it.
It was so reasonably priced and I’ve had a lot of success using the conditioning treatments I was very hopeful that the shampoo would be excellent. It lathers very nicely and rinses easily I found the fragrance to be pleasant and my hair did not feel weighted down.
My hair was smoother than normal and I found it much easier to straighten with the hair dryer and that was before I even flat ironed it. Most of the hask brand smoothing and antifrizz products work great for me.
I will be exploring the entire line in addition to the shampoos and conditioners.
The Hask brand is one of my favorite hair shampoo and conditioner products. This one in particular helps with frizz and smooths and hydrates your hair. I have dark, wavy, thick, and course hair. I find that this specific one helps my hair feel healthy and less damaged.
It has good ingredients. This produces smells nice and not too fragrance. I find that if I combine certain shampoos and conditioners that caters to my hair needs within the Hask brand, It makes my hair feel and look the best and work well together.
This is such a thick nourishing shampoo which lathers up beautifully coating my hair in hydrating foam and a little really goes a long way. I love that it has a gorgeous combination of shea butter and hibiscus oil that help to moisturise, fight frizz and reduce breakage, leaving hair soft and manageable.
It’s designed to seal split ends for smooth strands that feel reinforced and strong. Definitely recommend!.

Smells great and leaves my hair super soft. It does to some have a very floral scent but I like that. I have longer hair and only use about a quarter size amount. I leave it on for about 5 minutes and rinse.
I have a very strict hair routine and use this once a week and it does wonders. I love all thier products honestly. I do not have over oily hair type and I am not sure how it would be for those with more oily hair.
My daughter had fine hair but very thick and we use this twice a week for her and it has helped a lot with little fly away issues that drive me crazy. Beautiful conditioner.
Conditioners are hard for me. I have fine, thin, dry hair that can turn greasy fast, and that combo makes it hard to find balance in my hair products. Ouai Curl Conditioner is one of the best products I’ve found.
With most products, I have to condition all my hair due to dryness, otherwise I end up with a frizzy, flyaway witches nest. However, this practice led to my already limp hair all but plastered to my head.
I use this conditioner in conjunction with its matching shampoo (check out my review!), and the combo is glorious! The shampoo cleanses without stripping natural oils, and provides enough moisture that I can just condition mid-length to ends.
They add softness and body to my hair without weighing it down, or leaving me looking like I should be chanting “Double double toil and trouble. ” I only have one real con: I wish it smelled better. It has a chemicalish scent to it, though not nearly as strong as some other products I’ve tried (*cough* Kevin Murphy).
The base scent is actually pretty pleasant, and would be great without the eau de chem. Overall, I highly recommend!.
I was fortunate to have the chance to test and review the Ouai Repair Shampoo and share the following thoughts: The shampoo is designed to help with those that have hair prone to damage/breakage. Whilst I have a lot of hair unfortunately it is not very strongand therefore I depend on indian oils (mustard, almond, castor, coconut to name but a few) and specialist products to keep it looking as healthy as possible.
Benefits to note are that the shampoo does contribute to strengthening each strand of hair. It leavesyour barnet feeling shiny and healthy whilst adding in much needed moisture (without the nasty weighing down of hair).
The shampoo does not lather up in the way normal shampoos do but this in no way is a disadvantage as you can be sure that you are applying only the best of ingredients to your hair (the shampoo is sulphate free).
I have seen a dramatic change to the overall health of my hair since starting use. The shampoo provides nourishment and shine to the hair without the nasty build up of product. I can’thelp but run my hand through my hair throughout the day! The shampoo is also suitable for those with coloured hair and it will not cause loss of colour.
It is suitable for all hair types. The product is paraben and sulphate free and is NOT tested on animals. The pleasant light scent is an added bonus.
Smooth Smoothing Conditioner Infused with coconut oil to help fight frizz for smoother results. Work well for dry, coarse, disobedient hair. After shampooing with Smoothing Shampoo, apply evenly from roots to ends, comb through and rinse out.
Free of SLE & SLES Sulfates (SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) and SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) are sulfates commonly known to be harsh and potentially damaging to the vibrancy and longevity of hair color.
I saw on some other reviews that you had to use so much of this shampoo because it doesn’t lather. I did find this to be true at first, but I just kept using it, even though the feel was so different – almost like water in my hair that wouldn’t lather.
This completely changed after a few weeks. After a few weeks I noticed it WAS lathering, and was much easier to shampoo with and work throughout all of my hair. I told this to the stylist who cuts my hair (who suggested I try using this product in the first place because it would be better for my hair).
She wasn’t surprised at all and told me that was because the most popular shampoo brands have so many ingredients that build up in your hair, that it takes the Healthy Sexy Hair shampoo some time to get all that build up out of your hair.
And it did! My hair is now much softer and smoother – both to the look and the touch. I’ve used other popular brands that I’ve found in the grocery store that had labels claiming to be a “smooth and sleek” formula, only to have my hair feeling more like straw after using them for a while.
I definitely recommend this shampoo. If it doesn’t seem to lather much at first, give it time! It’s got to gradually remove all that buildup from your hair. BTW, I use this shampoo with Healthy Sexy Hair leave in conditioner, also recommended by my stylist, and it works great!.
This is an amazing shampoo and I love the fact that it is sulphate free. I have been using sulphate free shampoos for almost 7 years now. It takes some getting used to because your hair can be greasy at first but once your hair gets used to sulphate free shampoos, it will feel a lot healthier.
This is definitely my go-to shampoo. I try out other brands from time to time but always come back to it.
I like a nice thick creamy conditioner. I wasn’t able to get my usual product and this was recommended. It’s really nice. Feels like I’ve actually conditioned my hair whereas a lot of products don’t give that feeling.
I would imagine it would be too much for fine hair but lovely in thick hair. Give it a go, I think you’ll like it.

I was lucky enough to get to trial this along with the conditioner component for a month as part of the trial team. I am a big fan of the OGX brand; I love their product design, theirs ingredients style and I normally have a great time when using them, so I had high expectations for this, especially cos this brand, for a supermarket brand, can be quite hyped.
I have very long, dark, thick hair that goes past my buttocks (lol) so I am always very particular on my products cos I need something that not only lasts and goes a long way for the amount of thick lengths it’s being used on, but also gives the right end results for my intense hair and gives a nice result without much styling products or heat added to it.
Unfortunately this product was not the right fit for me and my hair, the hype was too much and I was left disappointed in the end. The SMELL as soon as you get it out of the bottle I found was SO INTENSE – something you don’t want even if it’s nice – but also was not a nice smell.
It was an oil smell, but reminded me of almost car oil? But not exactly that. It was just unpleasant and overpowering and it made it hard to use as I had to adjust to the intense smell and odd texture.
I had to use the shampoo a few times over, rinsing and repeating more than I usually would and using more than I would like each time, in order to get my hair feeling like it had gotten what it needed from it all over.
I also found that this felt very easily stripping of my natural oils leaving that “squeaky” feeling at my roots, which I hate. Whilst I found this not so pleasant to use whilst in the shower, ONCE OUT – and with my hair DRY- I found the results to be a lot better and thus making this have some come back for it and worth continuing to use for the purpose of reviewing.
Once dry, I found that the benefits it boasted to give were in fact there: my hair had more tamed frizziness and less frizz in general, it was smooth, it was softer and a little stronger, it had nice shine to it and it managed to keep its results for a long time which is important to me as I cannot wash my hair too often and need it to keep my hair looking nice between washes.
It did do just that. I found that it did not make my hair anymore manageable or easy to brush, but it made it soft and smooth and thus easier to get away with lazy looks and quick styling. All in all, for people like ME – with LONG, THICK HAIR – I would not recommend.
It is far too much time usage and product usage to be worth it and I would not buy this personally after reviewing it. It was too finicky. For my friends with shorter, perhaps maybe even more damaged and especially frizzy hair, I think this could be a really good fit! So long as they can handle the smell.
I am glad I got to try this and if I ever recommend this I will be warning of the smell first.
I’m torn. I used to use OGX products religiously from 2018-2020 until I had to look for a product with a better price per use ratio. I was excited to see this brand pop up for a VoxBox on the way, and decided to look up the brand and see what was new with them.
I was extremely disheartened to see that as of 2021, they were named in a class action lawsuit due to rapid hair loss. The culprit ingredient is DMDM hydantoin, which is a preservative that converts to formaldehyde when exposed to water.
I poured over the ingredients list and am happy to see that this product does not contain DMDM hydantoin, but still am disheartened to see that OGX uses this preservative when they made a plan to remove use of it and similar ingredients from formulations by 2015.
There is quite a bit of discourse about this product. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE note that this product, the Extra Strength Biotin Collagen line, is not noted in the lawsuit. I do believe the product in question was the Thick Full Biotin Collagen line, which seems to be a previous formulation of the product.
Some other reviews state that this product has previously been recalled, but I cannot find any supporting evidence to prove this to be true. Ethics has to come into the discussion at this point. This brand might be reformulating to meet new standards, but they continued to use a harmful ingredient in products after they acknowledged the dangers of formaldehyde producing ingredients in hair care.
When I used this product, I loved the payoff. My hair instantly seems more moisturized without being weighed down, and did wonders for my hair’s curl pattern. This does not seem to be the norm for curly hair having users, so be aware of this before you buy.
Would I buy this again? No. I do not support OGX’s business decisions regarding continued use of DMDM hydantoin in products, and being a long term user of their products, I’m angry that they didn’t do better.
Will I throw it out? No. It was free to try and doesn’t seem to be harmful. I will use it occasionally until it runs out. Do some research before you try this, and of course, READ THE LABELS!.
I recieved this product from Influenster and OGX in exchange for my honest opinion. I appreciate the idea of trying to fortify the hair by attempting to use biotin and collagen in a shampoo, however, my experience using this product was underwhelming.
As a beauty junkie, I always research the products I plan on using, prior to using them. I wasn’t pleased to learn that, previously, there was, and still seems to be an issue with people losing their hair as a result of consistent, long-term use of this product, based on easily accessible reviews found across the internet, to this day.
Despite knowing this information, I decided to give the product a shot, regardless, because that’s just me. I first noticed that the product comes out in blobs, due to the formulation consistency. If you use a tad bit too much pressure, product will fill your palm.
Despite the fact, this shampoo doesn’t lather easily at all. I used three blobs prior to getting some decent, normal lather. This clear shampoo has a strange, faint, chemical like smell, unlike what you’d expect to be in the realm of pretty shampoo like scents.
Afterwards, I noticed my scalp slightly burned from irritation as a result of one shampoo session, which has never happened to my scalp, ever, in the history of me using shampoo, and I have no allergens.
My hair was knotty-ish and didn’t feel as clean as it normally does with other shampoo’s. Regarding the volume, I didn’t notice any difference as I have naturally curly hair. I’m sure OGX must have better shampoo products, but, in my, personal, experience, this wasn’t one of those.
As a cosmetologist, I may consider using the rest of this product as shampoo for my short haired mannequins as it would not burn their scalp. #UncapTheLove #ogxfullandfestive #voxbox.
Anti Frizz Intense Smoothing Conditioner by Biotera for Unisex – 15. 2 oz Conditioner Helps control frizz while replenishing lost moisture to dry, parched hair. Hair is naturally smooth and sleek, even on the most humid days.
As a woman with wavy hair that frizzes horribly whenever the humidity is high, and let’s be honest, the humidity is high in the Southeast, I thought I’d try out Naturelle Biotera Anti-Frizz Intense Smoothing Shampoo and Naturelle Biotera Anti-Frizz Intense Smoothing Conditioner.
I purchased my product at a local Sally’s Beauty Supply, and they said that if I didn’t like the product that I could return it, which is a win win situation for the customer. What I didn’t realize until I was using the product is that for the best results, Biotera recommends using not only the shampoo and conditioner but the leave in conditioner as well.
Since I didn’t buy the leave in conditioner, my review is solely on the shampoo and conditioner. For those of you who don’t like a strong scent, then you’ll be pleased with the light scent of this product.
The aroma has hints of cinnamon apple. Where I love the scent of cinnamon and apple, I personally don’t care for the two scents to be mixed together, so this was a negative for me, even with it being lightly scented.
Despite me not using the leave in conditioner, the products worked exceptionally well on my hair while we had several days of rain. There was the slightest bit of frizz, but that was nothing compared to how bad my hair normally frizzes in the rain.
I was very pleased with the results. The pricing is a little bit higher for the Naturelle Biotera Anti-Frizz Intense Smoothing Shampoo and Naturelle Biotera Anti-Frizz Intense Smoothing Conditioner than what I pay for TRESemmé or Herbal Essences.
The pricing at my local store was $8. 99 per bottle, plus tax for the smaller bottles. However, pricing may vary in different areas. I gave this product 4. 5 stars out of five stars.
I was impressed with how this product helped my hair look less frizzy and much softer for days. It is a light-weight leave-in conditioner that is not sticky. I have used it several times and am pleased with the result.
I have thick, wavy and curly hair which is hard to control with Florida’s humidity, but this product has helped my hair look healthier. It does not have a scent which I appreciate in a leave-in hair product.
I like to use the shampoo for when my hair is very oily and needs extra clean. It gets very sudsy but can be a little drying if you’re not careful. To avoid getting your scalp dried out from this shampoo I’d recommend using a moisturizing shampoo every other day along with this one.
Four stars because I can’t use it every day and I’d recommend for the fragrance alone! Very freshly scented.
There are a few different ways to use hair conditioner for frizzy hair. The most important thing to keep in mind is that you need to be careful not to use too much, as this can weigh down your hair and make it look greasy.
Start by applying a small amount to damp hair, starting at the ends and working your way up. Once you’ve applied it all over, gently massage your scalp for a minute or two before rinsing it out. You can also leave some conditioner in your hair to help control frizz throughout the day.
If your hair is particularly dry or damaged, you may want to use a deep conditioner once a week to help restore moisture and shine.
