As a general rule, golf shoes for flat feet should offer good support and stability, as well as being comfortable to wear. Some brands that are often recommended for people with flat feet include Footjoy, Adidas, and New Balance.
20 Best Golf Shoe For Flat Feet

These were the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. almost! The overall fit and arch support was excellent. Unfortunately where the laces meet the side wall there is a ridge that puts pressure on the top side of your foot.
The pressure point was too much to bear. Shoes are back in the box and heading back to the retailer. Too bad these could have been the best golf shoes I have ever owned.
Purchase ECCO Core to walk golf course. I usually wear 43 (9. 5), but purchased 42. The footbed seems to run slightly longer than previous ECCOs I’ve owned. A little snug across laces as elastic is stitched inside on both sides of tongue (nice touch for snug fit and keeps tongue in place).
Also has removable foot insert if you need more space. Leather feels high quality and comfortable right out the box.
Always buy Ecco bc they fit perfect and consistently same size. I have to wear 12 in Nikes but these “11. †// 45 are perfect. These Golf Core Ecco’s are my new fav – foot sits solidly, water proof and comfort.
Traction is solid. I play in morning so spikes sometimes may make a difference but these spikeless have done the job. Like the grey also -.
For the very first time, Fresh Foam LinksSL men’s golf shoe introduces the extraordinary softness of Fresh Foam to the fairways in a versatile, spike less golf shoe. With added cushion and a pressure mapping rubber outsole, the Fresh Foam LinksSL is built to feel like a running shoe on the course.
All in all, I love the look and feel of these shoes. I was thrilled that they were going to be joining my lineup in 2022. However, after the first couple rounds walking with these shoes I had an odd soreness that I ignored, and my the 4th round it became obvious something was wrong.
My Achilles of my right foot became inflamed and extremely sore. Like painful to walk sore the day following this round. I figured it must have been a size issue as the width and everything felt good.
So I purchased a 2nd pair, the 2nd being 1/2 size larger. Unfortunately, yesterday was my first round in the newer, larger pair and the same issue is happening. My Achilles is extremely tender this morning, and yesterday I had to ice my heal.
What’s odd, there is nothing that I can detect that feels uncomfortable about the shoe, but there’s clearly something about how this is designed that seemingly puts some added pressure on the heel of the foot.
Just a word of caution. I’m just disappointed as I really loved everything about these shoes, but know long term this is going to be a massive issue for me if I continued to wear these shoes when walking a round of golf.
I wear these shoes to walk 18 holes of golf. With my orthotic inserts, they are comfortable. Today I walked 5+ miles easily. The tongue of the shoe is attached to the rest of the shoe, which is different from every other shoe I’ve ever worn.
I do have a high instep, and was concerned about getting the shoe on—but I am able to put these on without problems. The ground has been damp with dew recently, and though they do claim to be water resistant, my socks are damp or wet when I’m through.
The first time I wore these shoes, I was SHOCKED at what my socks looked like afterwards—my white socks are now blue from the interior of the shoe. Bleach doesn’t remove the blue. I guess those socks will now be my golf socks!.
I bought two pair of new balance golf shoes. They were warrantied for 2 years to be waterproof. Less than 3 months they were leaking. Instead of refunding or replacing they gave me coupon credits. I ordered 2 more pair and they failed as well, and faster.
They wanted these back and I returned them. More coupons and more pairs of shoes, these the eyelets ripped through, they were only rubber. More Coupons more shoes, and these one of the metal eyelets has failed.
It apparently was two pieces of metal and the pieces came apart. They have been very very good at honoring the warranty. If you are happy with coupons. I do not know why the shoes are so prone to failure.
They asked me to write this review and I have done so at their request.
Built for the golfer seeking extraordinary softness of Fresh Foam, the Fresh Foam X Defender is a perfect combination of a lightweight waterproof FantomFit upper and an ultra-cushioned, responsive underfoot feel.
Featuring an exoskeleton TPU outsole with Fast Twist 3. 0 Pulsar replaceable cleats designed to move with the natural motion of your foot.
I golfed this weekend in the Fresh Foam X Defenders because the Striker v3 needs to be exchanged for a half size up after all. This pair turned out to be surprisingly good footwear for what it is – golf sneakers and not golf shoes.
It remained comfortable for my entire round of golf, but although indeed lightweight, my XW (4E) feet preferred the support and stability of my New Balance 990v5, 1540vs and 857 shoes as the round wore on because the trade-off of those features for less weight meant that my feet had to work harder as they got more tired.
Therefore, this pair seems more suitable for occasional play, especially if from a cart, than for golf tournaments or golf trips lasting more than one day. Additionally, even though this pair is offered in larger and wider sizes, it seems better-suited for young people and those with narrow feet than for seniors, wide-footed golfers and people carrying extra weight (whether on their bodies or from walking the golf course and carrying a golf bag full of equipment).
This is because the sneaker bottoms are narrow and, so, concentrate weight and make them seem wobbly (which is inherently unstable and is not what people who weari wide shoes made by New Balance typically are used to).
I would love to see New Balance offer more stable and supportive golf footwear, particularly now that a leading golf shoe maker no longer customizes its offerings for golfers with wider feet. I used to pay between $250 and $300 for a pair of those customized golf shoes, and so, it seems that New Balance has lots of pricing room.
While New Balance is at it, I would encourage it to have four cleats rather than two cleats on the heels of its golf shoes in order to prevent slippage and, also, would encourage it to make all of the cleats on its golf footwear replaceable using a standard tool and commonly available replacement cleats.
There are a few things I really like about this shoe: 1) Extremely lightweight; 2) Waterproof; 3) Stylish; and 4) Very slip-resistant spikeless sole. There are also a few disappointing attributes: 1) Runs a bit small in size (I bought an 8.
5 US Medium but these feel closer to an 8. 0 UK Medium; 2) The toe box could be a bit more generous, I can feel the uppers pressing against my big toes; and 3) The OEM laces are inferior and don’t stay tight, surprising given the shoe overall construction is above-average.
I’m happy that New Balance has entered the golf shoe arena because I really like their running shoes. However, at $130 a pair the Defender spikeless shoes aren’t as good as the Footjoy or Nike models in the same price range.
I was not aware this shoe did not have the attached tongue like the NBG4000WN and NBG4000WK. I bought the fresh foam defender to replace the 4000WK because black stains keep showing up on the perforated portion at the top.
(i would like to return these but I am having trouble finding the order) I purchased the 4000WK to replace another golf shoe that was staining my feet and socks blue. I did return those along with the stained socks.
I so far the NBG 5000WGY fits well and time will tell if the tongue moves under the laces or weird stains begin to appear. Attached pictures are from the 4000WK. The stains come from inside the shoes.
UA IntelliKnit upper provides a strategic combo of stretch, lockdown & containment through your swing. Lightweight waterproof membrane & NeverWet coating keep your feet dry. External TPU heel counter for maximum support & better fit.
Unique adaptive lacing system designed to both support & enhance your swing. UA HOVR placement supports the natural motion of the foot in a golf swing & helps eliminate impact. Durable, lightweight TPU outsole with injected, softer rubber spikes in key areas for lockdown traction.
Under Armour has twice taken down my review on these shoes. I love these shoes. Have bought 3 pairs over the past 2 years. However, one of the pairs I bought this year had issues with the sole detaching from the upper after less than 1/2 a year of golf.
I reached out to UA and they told they would not replace the shoe as it doesn’t have a warranty on it. Sad that such a big company does not stand by its product! Beware: if you have any issues with this shoe, UA will not help out!.
3rd pair of UA golf shoes, comfortable as usual. Also thought the laces were elastic, not traditional, with the fit I played 18 without tied laces, no problems as they are a snug fit. My only issue is that I needed to get extremely thin socks to wear with these shoes.
Hopefully after a few rounds they will loosen up a bit, but right out of the box they are comfortable, no blisters or hot spots, so far I love them. Not as lightweight as they look, not heavy by any stretch, mid pack as far as weight goes.
Pro|SL’s comfort has been fortified considerably with the introduction of Stratofoam in the midsole. The StratoFoam cushioning system uses a proprietary blend of materials to provide optimal support and comfort for conditions encountered while playing golf – swinging, walking and everything in between.
Designed to absorb shock for max walking comfort and also maximizes energy return to reduce walking fatigue.
I’ve owned many pairs of the SL Carbon and Carbon BOA shoes. Like the headline says, “They are my favorite fitting spikeless shoe. ” My complaints would be the quality of the leather and durability. For being a $210-240 shoe, this shoe has the absolute cheapest quality leather.
You can treat it with creams or lotions and it won’t make a difference. It lacks suppleness and will eventually look like crinkled tissue paper the more it breaks in. Lastly, for some reason, the shoe shows age relatively quickly.
If you play often, they will look terrible within a 6 weeks. I recently went to a store with a pair for defects and they weren’t going to take them because they looked dusty and creased (right foot).
The right foot shoe was definitely more creased (upper) than the left looked more broken in. They tried to say they looked ‘extremely worn’. They were only a month old, the spikes were perfect, and the shoes looked a little dusty because of a California drought.
Lastly, the shoe definitely feels stiffer, feels like it has less cushion, and the upper isn’t as structured as the previous model. This may be due to the introduction of the elastic eyelets replacing the plastic eyelets of the older model (BOA).
Would I recommend them to a friend, NO. Would I buy them again, yes. For now, they are still my favorite fitting spikeless golf shoe.
Waited until the new Pro SL models came out this year and splurged for the Carbon BOAs. Very happy with this purchase. I’m a FootJoy loyalist, but have tried a number of different models over the years.
DNA, DNA 2. 0, MyJoys, Icons, Tour X, HyperFlex, Premier Series, Fuels, Tour Alpha, and now the Pro SL. Having only recently tried spike-less shoes, I’m blown away by the stability of the Pro SL Carbon BOA.
The comfort of the PRO SL, the stability offered by the carbon footplate, and the security provided by the BOA make me want to make this my full time shoe. I have played 2 rounds and a number of range sessions already in these shoes and not once have I thought about stability or traction during a swing.
Looking forward to many rounds this summer in these bad boys! #sweepstakes.
This is my second pair of Pro SLs. They are one of the most comfortable golf shoes you will find. They have excellent grip compared to other spikeless golf shoes I’ve tried, especially in wet conditions.
I’ve worn my last pair for three seasons of once a week play and they still keep my feet dry, and have plenty of grip left. Hopefully this pair can match that. Sizing runs a little big in length, as I normally wear a M12 in other brands, but an 11.
5 was perfect in these. Width seems to be what I would expect for standard. If your a big swinger that needs traction on the tee box, and you play courses that require a lot of walking, these are the shoes for you.
Excellent comfort, grip and durability. As always, great selection of sizes and colors from TGW, and quick shipping.
Adidas Men’s S2G SL Golf ShoesThe Adidas Men’s S2G SL Golf Shoes were made to be comfortable through all 18 holes, then seamlessly make the transition into your post round activities. The Bounce midsole features underfoot cushioning and flexibility to keep you comfortable for longer.
A spikeless V-Traxion outsole delivers grip and enhanced stability across the board. Bounce Midsole A Bounce midsole that runs the full length of the shoe provides underfoot comfort and support for long days on the course.
Adiwear V-Traxion Outsole The non-marking, ultra durable spikeless outsole offers the grip necessary for the course. Primegreen Materials The Men’s S2G SL’s upper are made with 50% Primegreen materials, a series of high performance recycled materials in effort to lessen plastic waste.
I purchased a pair of Adidas golf shoes and paid approximately $100. A couple of days later I was looking for something else on a golf site. I saw these same shoes for $74. So I emailed Carl’s and asked if they matched prices.
They said yes if it was the same product in the same size, etc. Well, the brand and shoes were identical. However, I ordered a 12 1/2 from Carl’s and the other site only had 12 or 13 but no 12 1/2 so they said that the match wasn’t complete so no adjustment.
I’ve walked 9 and then 18 in these and the comfort factor is very high. Sole provides solid traction even on wet ground, but they don’t have that soft spike feel at all. Very easy to walk. One foot did get a bit damp early in my round.
A change of socks at the turn along with drying conditions remedied. But I suspect these won’t be quite as “waterproof” as claimed.
Super light and comfortable. The sole is very grippy. I purchased these for hot summer days as they are very breathable. Having a 1 year waterproof warranty is a bonus. The free Callaway hats are nice, but not my style so I will donate them to Junior golf at my home club.
Heritage craftsmanship meets modern technology in golf shoes designed to perform on the course, or off. Waterproof bootie construction. Neoprene stretch collar. J & M Smart Degree Technology by KulKote delivers breathable temperature control-cooling when hot, warming when cold, and providing ideal comfort all the time.
Dual-width footbed can be easily removed to accommodate your own orthotic or wide foot. Super-soft waterproof leathers and waterproof high-performance knit. Multi-density footbed with memory-foam cushioning and arch support.
Lightweight, shock-absorbing full EVA midsole cushions and supports from toe to heel. Hybrid-lug rubber sole provides turf-hugging traction and stability on the greens, durability and comfort on the street.
I was looking for a leather golf shoe because my Ecco shoes had finally had the radish. I looked at Squarz and some other brands, yea, they are all PU leather, in other words, plastic. Plastic shoes for $170.
00, no way. I then came across Johnston Murphy H1 hybrid XC4 golf shoes. I had worn Johnston Murphy shoes before and found them to be high quality and very comfortable. I decided to give the XC4’s a try and ordered from Dillards.
They were shipped promptly, received in 4 days. Out of the box these shoes felt great. On the course they felt better. I ended ordering another pair in black and they too were out of the box comfortable.
These are now my go to golf shoes, thanks Dillards!! For carrying a quality product.
I could not find the green version of these shoes anywhere, except here. I have a pair of JM dress shoes with XC4 and love them. So I wanted to get some golf shoes with the same tech. They were delivered earlier than originally indicated, so I got to wear them to a golf weekend.
Good thing, too, as it rained. A lot. But my feet stayed completely dry even as I was sloshing around soaking wet fairways. No traction issues, and comfortable during all of the long walks to and from the cart path for all 18 holes.
Will definitely look to add another pair of these in the near future.
Overall these shoes are quite comfortable. I have played golf in them, and they worked well. I have also worn them as a casual shoe at work and around town. I like the amount of padding and the feel of the inner lining against my ankle.
I have two things I don’t like about them, but they are not deal breakers. 1. The toe box is a bit constricting from sold to top. I prefer a bit more room. 2. There is an inner lining that is poorly adapted to the inside of my left shoe.
It makes it feel like you’re sock is bunched up around your toes. I’ve gotten used to it, and I may be able to fix it if I try, but I wish it was better attached. #sweepstakes.
Traction, comfort and athletic style define these exceptional FootJoy golf shoes. FootJoy eComfort Golf Shoes feature great traction and a durable, lightweight design that stays looking crisp and clean round after round.
These FootJoy golf shoes are designed with traditional styling and easy to clean, soft synthetic uppers that provide lightweight comfort and performance on the golf course. Product Features Upper Shoe Features Synthetic leather uppers – soft and easy to clean.
Lightweight – so that you stay comfortable all the way through the back nine.
Like the shoe. I bought bright white with another blue pair of Flex XP that have the spikeless. I wore the eComfort this weekend and just as it says “comfort” the performance I found was still good as it has the spikes as mentioned.
So comfortable I left the silica pouches in by mistake the firat day never noticed! FOOT JOY for 42 years still the BEST by far!.
Footjoys had always been my go to for golf shoes. I could order online with the knowledge that size and comfort would be good. Until I bought these. Put them on for a nine hole round and the only thing I am happy about was that the round was only 9 holes.
They rubbed my ankles raw! After this, I will never be able to order shoes online. And now Footjoys has also opened the door for me to try on other brands.
Whether you’re fitting in a quick nine or gearing up for an all-day event, these adidas golf shoes offer the cushioned comfort and versatility to wear all day long. Their spikeless design provides weightless traction and lets you transition off the course without missing a beat.
The micro-adjustable BOAer Fit System and Bounce midsole will keep you light on your feet and feeling secure all day long.
First – I totally enjoy the BOA system. Easy to get on and off with just the right amount of tightness that I can adjust easily. The sole of the shoe feels wide and very comfortable for my feet. I really enjoy these shoes for walking as they feel great.
The outer covering feels very water repellent and the shoes clean off very easily. I would definitely recommend.
I still needed to stretch the toe box but shoes are more comfortable than most. I am a women size 10 and women’s shoes are too narrow for me. Most men’s shoes are too wide in the ankle area. These shoes fit me better than most.
Still it is disappointing that golf shoes are currently designed for women to be pretty vs. comfortable!.
Took about 2 weeks to get them, standard shipping. Was attracted to the wider footbed and BOA. Ordered 10 Med and it is about 1/2 size larger than standard. mostly comfortable but as I’m on my feet nearly all day in the golf shop they could use more padding on the insole.
Nike Infinity Pro 2 is a waterproof golf shoe that’s constructed with a breathable fabric upper. The shoe is also equipped with Nike React foam which makes it soft and comfortable to walk in for the whole round.
The soft heel cap with extra padding envelops the foot and provides comfy support. The integrated grip pattern on the flexible rubber sole feels comfortable as you walk while giving you the grip you need on the course.
The Nike Infinity Pro 2 Golf Shoes fit true to size while providing flexibility to run, twist and walk comfortably. The initial fit is tight around the ankle but loosens up to conform to your fit very quickly.
After a few wears, it fits like a glove. The toe box is very breathable, making it easy to wear for long periods without feeling hot and muggy. The material on the bottom is durable enough to provide traction in the grass and dirt while being soft enough to walk on hard surfaces like concrete and wood without being very loud.
I love the sleek design and material the shoe was made with as it makes it easy to rinse any dirt or grass off. It pairs nicely with athletic gear and casual wear which is perfect for a day at the gym or on the golf course.
No more changing shoes between a few rounds of golf and a lunch!.
Stay primed for your next round with the plush cushioning and waterproof performance of the Nike Golf Nike Infinity G golf shoes. Waterproof golf shoes in an athletic, sleek silhouette. Uppers of synthetic leather with breathable mesh lining.
Soft foam midsole offers cushioned support. Padded footbed for all-day comfort. Spikes are integrated into the outsole for optimum grip. Imported. Measurements: Weight: 11 oz Product measurements were taken using size 8.
5, width D – Medium. Please note that measurements may vary by size. Weight of footwear is based on a single item, not a pair.
Loved the customer service I received from Carl’s. However the shoes were being sole as “spiked golf shoes” these we in fact not “spiked” shoes. The marketed supplied pictures I’m sure provided by Nike were misleading, and actually a one piece molder hard rubber sole.
I was looking to purchase “spiked” golf shoes for a reason, for more stability I get with that tread pattern and longer shoe life. On the positive I sized up, something you need to do with Nike products and I have played 5 rounds of golf in them and the comfort is great and extremely waterproof.
Good price, but I made 3 mistakes: 1: I should’ve paid more attention to the numerous reviews that said the shoes tend to be smaller than typical for the listed sizes. 2: I should not have thrown away the packaging before I tried on the shoes.
3: I shouldn’t have worn the new shoes for an 18 hole round of golf without taking a spare pair. I had blisters on both feet by the 4th hole and my blisters had blisters by the end of the round. Since then, I’ve stretched and flexed the shoes manually and have worn them with gauze pads on my heels and haven’t had any further problems, but I still wish I had bought size 11 instead of my usual 10-1/2.
I played my first round of golf yesterday in these shoes. At first I was worried they were too small based on comfort and snugness around middle of my foot. Decided to still wear them hoping they would settle in.
That turned out to be true as I later had to retie one shoe to get a little more snugness. My round was early in the morning with typical morning dew on the fairways and putting green. I found no issues with footing through the round and the overall style of the shoe definitely met my needs.
My one issue with the shoe is the inability to replace the grips. I completely missed that when purchasing them. That is the only reason I gave these shoes a three rating.
Bring alive the feel player in you as you walk comfortably in our all new breathable, flexible and minimalist take on our crowd favorite TRUE Original. Feel the breeze between your toes and the earth beneath your feet as you walk the links.
One of the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn period. And after walking the first 18 in them they’re definitely keepers. The feel through the sole is wonderful and you can feel each individual toe pressure into the ground if you think about it.
If you don’t somehow it enables better balance for me, wierd but I can feel it as compared to my more conventional Adidas. Another interesting aside is that when walking over gravel or other tough surfaces it almost gives the bottom of your feet a massage.
Again not something you would think about when getting shoes like these but it does feel good, at least for me. I suppose you would have to try to avoid stepping on anything too sharp. Now the golf… the lower heel has an interesting affect of making or helping me stay on my left heel and beyond so I can keep my left hip clear.
The only thing I miss is a bit more structure in the forefoot of the right shoe so when I go up on my toe in the follow through I have a bit more support but this is definitely not a big deal. The cleat design is very effective.
Each cleat is about 3/16”-1/4” deep so the grip on most surfaces is very good. Let’s see how long they keep being effective. The sole is made of a flexible rubber so maybe the wear on the cleats will be minimal since the cleats will more flex than grind away, if you know what I mean.
In any case I try to keep my walking on pavement and concrete to a minimum in order for them to last. I imagine after the soles are worn too much for golfing, that they’re going to turn into street shoes for me.
Another great thing about the shoe is the knit upper. It’s really breathable in that you can feel a breeze through the shoe if a cool one passes by. Awesome for summer rounds, which is what I bought them for.
The LUX Sport was crafted for the player who craves both purpose, and wellness in their pursuit of par. For those grinding in their backyards, on the range and in the gym. Sport was engineered for those creating the dew stripes and closing down the course after the cart barn is locked up.
Got these from the second chance section. Shoes appeared brand new, couldn’t find a mark on them. Overall feel of the shoe is about the same as the Lux Knits, but a bit more comfy with the sockliner fit.
One main difference, though, is the waterproof membrane inside (see pic). I don’t find it to be very breathable at all, even with the knit exterior. My feet do sweat some, but it’s like the membrane didn’t allow any moisture to escape.
Even with quality wool socks on the inside of my shoe was pretty damp at the end of the day. Not a huge deal, but just noticed it. I haven’t tested these on course yet but have worn them for 2 days at work (golf fitness pro) and have swung indoors.
No issues with the fit/traction/stability at all. I love the concept of this shoe. To take it to the next level I have a few suggestions: 1. Aesthetically, the colour on the heel counter matched the outside, which makes the heel of the shoe look really thick.
Going with the black heel counter like the grey Lux Knits (pictured) would look way better IMO. 2. The removable insole on the Lux Sports is quite thin in the forefoot and made from a different material than the Knit II’s and the OG Feels (pictured).
Having the thicker insole would make the shoe much more comfortable. It feels quite firm in the forefoot. 3. The width and shaping of this shoe is fairly narrow in the toe box, which is a bit of a surprise from TRUE.
It’s not uncomfortable, but it’s not easy for me to spread my toes out and grab the ground, like with the OG’s. I just tried on a pair of Altra Torin 6’s and it’s flat out the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever put on my foot.
Nothing against TRUE, but if you’re looking to make the best walking shoes for golf and comfort, this is the toe box shape to bring back into your lineup! I also pulled out the Torin 6’s insole and found that the footbed had a bit of gel like material lining it that just added a bit of softness, unlike the firm one in the Lux Sports.
Overall I think this is a great effort, awesome concept with the waterproof knit, bit to make it an outstanding shoe, some updates could be made for the better.
Thank you to everyone that worked on this solution. My replacement shoes arrived today. I tried them on immediately and the fit feels perfect. It seems each pair of Tru Links I try is more comfortable than the last.
Is that possible? I can hardly wait to give these a try on the links. That was yesterday after receiving a pair of True Lux Sport to replace a pair of originals that started leaking after more than a year due to the lining tearing.
I did indeed wear them on the course today and I am exceedingly pleased. There was a heavy dew and my feet stayed dry even when I stepped into some standing water. I seldom wear any other brand of shoe for casual wear.
My All Day Knit IIs are too comfortable to leave at home, they are like walking on pillows but the Lux Sports are like walking on clouds. Order them 1/2 size up from the Original 1. 2s and you will love them.
I have encountered Truelinkswear shoes about 4 years ago, since then I have switched most of my golf shoes to Truelinkswear due to its comfort, style & performance. So far I have purchased old-version of knitted one, two leather ones and this Lux sports and found Lux sports not breathable enough.
After couple of rounds my feet start to get wet and after 18 rounds my socks get soaking wet. FYI, I have a dry feet. I presume it is the layer underneath of the outer knitted fabric. The layer seems only to prevent the moist from penetrating into the shoes but not to breath the feet moist out of the shoes.
For coming models I hope this to be considered. Other than this, I love it!!!!!.
Look legendary in the Nike Air Max 270 G. The silhouette is a stitch-for-stitch reconstruction of the original big Air icon, with the addition of breathable mesh and innovative traction that performs at the highest level of play.
Flexible and Breathable Sleeve-like upper is a stitch-for-stitch reconstruction of the original Nike Air Max 270. The mesh has a flexible overlay that helps keep out water and makes it easier to clean your shoes.
Cushioned Comfort Foam midsole has a large Max Air unit for plush cushioning with each step. Versatile Grip Integrated traction pattern is designed to perform at the highest levels of play, while still being versatile enough to wear off course.
The perimeter of the outsole is specially designed to enhance grip during rotational movements.
Love that Nike are taking their best air max silhouettes into the golf world I have at least one pair of each different one and love them all it stinks they don’t make them with replaceable spikes but the good news is after a season or two when they are worn down they still make great shoes off the course.
I like my golf shoes snug so these didn’t bother me especially once broken in but take width into account. If your going with the 270’s I’d suggest going with the black though unless you use stain and water repellent they aren’t going to stay white long even if you clean them right away.
I don’t wear spikeless when it’s wet I’ve only played in light dew with these and after only a few rounds there are slight blemishes and noticeable discoloration but that still doesn’t mean I have a lesser opinion of the shoe keep innovating! Would love to see some air max 95’s, and plus TN golf shoes!.
Bought these this week and played in them for the first time yesterday, walking 9 in league play. A couple of obvious things: – These look a lot like a running shoe, and that’s the look I wanted. If it’s not what you’re looking for, these aren’t the golf shoes for you.
– These are not as light and comfortable as my Nike running shoes (AP’s) but they are still very comfortable – This is a Nike, that means it’s going to be narrow and run a little small. I wear a size 8 in a Nike which means I’m a 7 1/2 in most brands.
which is hard to find. I have narrow feet so Nike’s work great for me. If you don’t like narrow shoes, these arent’ the golf shoes for you. – I found the shoes to be stable when playing and the grip was fine.
This is my first pair of spikeless golf shoes so I was a bit concerned. No problems at all (there were problems with my swing and hooking everything into the woods on the left but I can’t blame the shoes).
– The heel is a little elevated so it is a bit of a different feel. These showed up yesterday before lunch so I wore them around the house all day before I played in them last night. By the time I was playing, I was already used to them.
I can’t say anything about longevity since I just got them. I did clean them when I got home and they cleaned up pretty well. Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase. If you’re a Nike guy and want this look, buy this shoe!.
First off the do run narrow as many have already mentioned. I ordered 3pr, 2/11. 5 and 1/12. The 12 fit great, however, all 3prs arrived with an air leak, specifically in the right shoe. It’s really tough to believe that it’s an isolated issue.
When you compress on the spiked portion you can create the issue yourself. When you put the shoe on it’s amplified even moreso. To me the batch that was sent over is completely defective. I will be returning and will re-order in hopes that it was a fluke but I don’t believe that will be the case.
Introducing the newest golf shoe silhouette from Nike Golf. The Air Max 90 has been reinvented for the golf course with an integrated traction pattern and waffled outsole for exceptional grip on a variety of surfaces.
These shoes have stayed close to the OG design with the Max Air bubble unit at the heel and classic design features. The thin overlay across the shoe helps to keep your feet dry in wet conditions with a one-year waterproof guarantee.
Bought these in a size 9. For the last 30+ years all I wear is Nike golf/running/football etc. shoes in a size 9. Always fit great right out of the box. To my surprise these felt just a little larger at a size 9.
Threw the box out feeling extremely comfortable with the fact that these, like all others; would fit perfect out of the box. Had to return these, but no original box. Nike said no problem. I was not surprised about that.
My refund was processed immediately. Looking forward to my next purchase with Nike. Nike Nation!.
Have been using these for the past month, and am very pleased with their performance to date. Very comfortable, provide a decent stable platform and acceptable grip. I tend to rotate between these and a pair of Puma NXT Discs.
Both provide more than adequate grip on turf assuming you have a solid base with a mechanically sound swing. I’d guess most of the negative comments about a lack of grip are from golfers with poor bases, poor mechanics, and poor rhythm.
Sport seems to attract many of those types. With a good set up and a sound swing you’ll be fine as far as stability and grip with these under all but the wettest surfaces. I play regularly in the low to mid 70’s and if they have enough grip for me they have enough grip for virtually anyone who is not trying to swing out of their shoes Luke many hacks attempt.
These shoes look awesome and are of great quality. The Air Max 90s have always been a favorite of mine (I own 4 pairs) Once I found out they were releasing these as a golf shoe I had to have them. I’ve owned any and all brands of golf shoes including Nike, Adidas, Puma, Footjoy, GFore, Truelinkswear.
I’m loyal to no brand of shoes. These shoes feel very similar to the Air Max 90 sneaker version. Grip is pretty good and have had no issues there. I would say that these fit similar to the sneaker version but with the waterproofing on the shoe there is a little less give making the toe box a feel a bit snug compared to the street shoe.
I normally wear a size 11, I went with size 11 in these and they work great. If you have a wider foot go up half a size. If you have a normal to narrow foot go true to size.
Take your performance to the next level in these adidas golf shoes. They’re made with a BOOST midsole for energy return and enhanced comfort. The 360Wrap design locks in and supports your feet through 18 holes and beyond.
An INSITE sockliner offers cushioning for optimal fit and balance and the SPIKEMORE traction outsole provides solid grip throughout your entire round.
My second pair of tour360 shoes. The last pair made it through 3+ season of Las Vegas golf and held up well. I have had problems with other Adidas shoes wearing out inside the heel due to poor materials choice.
The fabric / synthetic lining tends to wear through. Not with these shoes. Leather-lined, these hold up to heavy usage, sweat, water, everything. The boost midsole is supportive and soft with great comfort.
Overall, a great shoe – easy to recommend. The only negative is that the soft spikes are not replaceable, however I have never had to replace the soft spikes on a shoe. I expect that these will hold up just fine.
These shoes look great, are easy to clean and are super stable. However, as others have noted, these will give you blisters. I’ve worn them at least ten times and I’m still getting the worst blisters ever.
It should not take this long to break in shoes meant for walking. My most recent round, I was barely able to finish because of how painful my heels are. I’m not a heavy individual (about 6′ 190lbs) and I don’t have super wide feet.
These are almost unbearable to wear if you walk a course. A shoe that is this expensive should not hurt your feet this much. Epic failure by Adidas with this model. I feel ripped off due to how expensive they were.
Had shoes for less than 1 year — nice looking, comfortable. HOWEVER, inside heel failed on both shoes with light use, and white plastic toe and sole turned yellow. I had seen warranty as 2 years on golf shoes but after going multiple rounds with customer support, they contend only 6 months.
Ridiculous for $200 shoes. Adidas, you should do better, I won’t be a customer anymore. Spread the knowledge to your friends.
The True Knit II offers lightweight construction, a sock-fit feel, and exceptional breathability for all-day comfort. These spikeless sneaker golf shoes are versatile for warmer days on the links or everyday wear.
A bit of a long review, but I needed a blue pair of sneakers for a trade show as someone had a bright idea of dress for the show, so I had a great excuse to add another pair of “ True” shoes to the Arsenal.
I had purchased my very first pair of True shoes, the Lux Sport which at first were just good shoes. After a couple of walking rounds, they became my most favorite pair of shoes with true all day comfort while providing adequate support without the slightest discomfort! After wearing the All Day Knit II, shoes for the duration of a grueling trade show, these might even be more comfortable.
I had these comfortable shoes on for 18 hours a day, wearing them out for the evenings after the show! Super comfort, great soles with good turf interaction, they are even great golf shoes to boot! Looking forward to putting the miles on these as well! Highly recommend to anyone that enjoys walking the course.

These shoes are great out of the box, but not very durable. I can’t see them lasting much more than a season, and I don’t even golf that much. First time I wore them the mesh tongue area got dirty, and it is impossible to clean it.
So that area has turned brownish. Some of the stitching is coming apart too. They are very comfortable and stable, however. Also, they run very small.
Was not familiar with PAYNTR golf shoes but heard good things about them. Decided to try them out and i have to say, they are excellent! Support and traction are exceptional for a spikeless golf shoe.
Please note, they run a half size small. I ordered a half size larger and in a wide width. They fit perfect. Have gotten compliments on the style too.
I’m in my late 40s and walk approx 2 rounds per week. At my age, foot pain can be an issue, but these are the most comfortable golf shoes I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned a ton from ecco to nike to adidas to FJ.
I also own a pair of the 002 LE. This option is slightly lighter weight than the 002 LE and runs a half size small, so if you order the 001, I recommend ordering a half size up. Both have aggressive tread to prevent slipping.

I held out during COVID from getting new golf shoes even though I desperately needed a new pair to replace my worn out eccos. Thankfully it worked out better than I could have thought. I tried on about 7 different pairs.
I was looking for something with some style but ultimately the shoe with the most comfort since I like to walk when I play. It came down to these and the Pumas with the dial laces. I went with these because they fit snug but not tight.
I’ve now played two full rounds with them and they are fantastic. Comfortable, flexible, but still secure. Exactly what I was hoping for. I don’t feel my foot rolling over or to the side. They feel breathable and they look great.
The claim is that they are waterproof. We’ll see. If they are they may be the best golf shoes ever. Comfort, style, almost like a very high quality casual shoe/sneaker.
Got these today, very very comfortable. It also poured. Not completely waterproof but did a good job. Very stable great grip all around. My last pair were Ecco’s. I like the simple design. Got the heather grey.
Traction and stability are excellent. My favorite spikeless shoe I have owned (previously Ecco, FJ. Adidas and Puma). Comfort is very good. Sizing runs a little snug, order the larger of your size range.
Only negative is the visible wave of the material over the toe box of one shoe (trail foot) that developed, while the other is smooth. Subtle, but there. No affect on comfort. Would definitely buy again.
FJ Stratos with STRATOFOAM, a proprietary cushioning system engineered from a unique compound blend that allows each shoe to absorb shock and return energy. The main benefit of energy return is that, each shoe works for you, which can help reduce foot fatigue after a round of golf.
Unlike other competitive shoes that use cushioning systems for running, resulting in high impact construction, FJ Stratos golf shoes are specifically tuned for golf/walking.
Currently own Tour Alpha Boa, Pro SL Boa and now these. Find the width and general shape to be similar to Pro SL. They are extremely comfortable and I’m very happy with the purchase. One thing you may notice is the heal is quite low and it feels like they ‘slip’ but in fact they stay put on my feet.
The Tour Alpha I just can’t get used to, while the fit of overall shoe is fine the heal area is just too high for me and have had blisters all season post round when wearing them. In terms of the Stratos, I’d say they fit as expected or perhaps 1/2 size large in the Wide sizes.
Wis they had Boa version, that would make them perfect!.
I golf 4 times a week and walk the course. I have worn footjoy shoes for years and find that I am able to use them right out of the box with no problems. This pair is the exception. They are the most expensive shoes I have purchased and are not comfortable.
By the middle of the back nine, my feet were hurting. These shoes are very stylish but uncomfortable. It may be what the insole is made of. I bought another style of FJ shoe that is much more comfortable and wish I had bought that same style rather than this uncomfortable and overpriced shoe.
A golf shoe is not much good to a golfer if it is not comfortable for 18 holes of walking.
I wore my new Statos last week in less than ideal conditions. We had had heavy rain the day before and there was even standing water on a couple of fairways. I am pleased to report that my feet were dry at the end of the round and my shoes still looked like new! I had to wipe a bit of dirt that had accumulated on the heal but I was impressed! Also, the grip was positive despite my concerns of going spikless.
