Believe me when I say it pains me to have to write this, as this was my favorite moisturizer for over 4 years! It was light, it felt like it was quenching my skins; thirst, I even liked its fragrance (reminded me a little of rosewater!) despite no fragrance added to the product.
I was using this day and night, and all was well until early this year. Starting with my forehead and then spreading to cheeks I began to notice a rash and flakiness that I’ve never seen before. At first it was mild and I wondered if a food or drink allergy, but over the months it just got worse and worse.
Changed my diet, changed my skincare routine, detergent, changed everything apart from Clinique DDMG until one day (2 weeks back) I decided to use a sample of an organic moisturizer a friend had given me and give DDMG a rest for a few days.
Lo and behold not immediately but over the course of 10 days or so my skin very slowly calmed down, the bumps, the redness, the flakes until now it is almost 80% cleared and getting better everyday. The only thing that has changed in all this period is not using DDMG.
My guess is that the ‘Dimethicone’ ingredient (2nd on ingredients list!) which is a silicone had over the years started to build up in my skin until it had reached saturation point. Tbh I feel more annoyed with myself than the product for not realizing until now what was even in its ingredients list! Talk about a ‘blind purchase’ lol.
Summary: For oily skin folks don’t expect oil control because it doesn’t do that. It lightly moisturizes anything from normal to oily skin types, but not if overly dehydrated. If you do use this, don’t plan on using it for many years because depending upon your skins ability to tolerate silicones, eventually at some point this product may turn from friend to foe! -> My ‘Ulta Beauty Top 7 must-have list’ (My 7 favorite beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Ulta) < - < 1.
Hair Loss Treatment: Divine Herbal Hair Oil < 2. Eye Cream: Clinique All about eyes < 3. Lip Gloss: Clarins Lip Comfort Oil < 4. Makeup Remover: Lancome Bi Facil < 5. Pigmentation + Anti-Aging Serum: Divine Herbal Facial Treatment Serum < 6.
Eyeliner: Ulta Beauty Gel Eyeliner Pencil < 7. Moisturizer: 'Lush' - Enzymion.
I bought a small bottle of this moisturizer off of Amazon to try in 2020/2021, and I LOVED it. I’ve used it every day, every night, through every season. It fully absorbs in just 1-2 minutes, makes my skin feel hydrated, has a light consistency with great spreadability.
I also struggle with acne, and this moisturizer didn’t make me break out. It’s now 2022 and I’ve gone through two 125ml bottles. However, here’s why its 4 stars for me and not 5: 1. The bottle design.
When I start to run low, I can see in the bottle that there’s a decent bit of product left in there but it’s not enough for the pump to pick it up so I have to strategically shake the bottle and use my fingers to try and get any product left over but it’s so difficult.
2. It’s not moisturizing enough for the winter, my cheeks would get really dry and this moisturizer did nothing for it (makes sense bc this moisturizer is for oily-oily combo skin). 3. The price. I’ve determined to find an alternative for this moisturizer that doesn’t cost as much.
I’ve bought two Korean moisturizers in hopes of finding one similar to Clinique in consistency and absorption time, but Clinique continues to reign supreme. The two Korean moisturizers I bought were the Purito Deep Sea Pure Water Cream and Cera-Heart My Type Duo Cream by Axis-Y, and both of those don’t absorb into my skin as quickly as Clinique does, and they leave my skin feeling a little tacky for awhile before they actually absorb.
But that doesn’t mean I’ll stop looking for an alternative to Clinique. Until I actually do find one, I’ll keep coming back to Clinique for a moisturizer every single time. Overall, I still really like this moisturizer and I highly recommend it to anyone with oily to oily combination skin.
Ok, I have been using this product for over a year now. I have oily/oily combination skin, and this product helps get rid of the excess oil on my face while also hydrating my skin, leaving me feeling refreshed and my skin feeling soft.
It glides on so easily, absorbs into my skin so quickly and a little goes a long way. Doesn’t weigh me down, doesn’t feel thick on my face, doesn’t make my face feel sticky, doesn’t leave my face looking shiny, and while it dries down the oil on my face it’s never left my face feeling tight or dry.
I buy the smallest packaging and it lasts me for several months. Really, really worth it for people with oily skin. Only note: after using this for a year I decided to add D1fferin (the actual word is flagged for some reason, don’t know why, sorry!) gel to my routine because I was still having problems with acne (to be clear, this product never was the reason for any breakouts).
The combination of the D1fferin gel and this moisturizer left a chemical burn around my mouth and on my cheeks, making my skin peel and burn constantly. It also made my skin extremely tight so that I couldn’t move my mouth.
I had never had problems like this with D1fferin when I used it prior to using this product as well, so be careful if you’re using D1fferin or medicated acne treatments, as they might not mix well. Otherwise, I’ll be using this product till I die.

My skin is dry and sensitive and isn’t prone to acne, however when I do get spots they give me scars. I’ve been using this product for over a year and it is perfect for preventing spots and when I do breakout, the spots hardly ever have heads so they go away without marking my skin! I use this moisturiser before serums, retinols or heavier moisturisers as I feel it helps make sure stronger products don’t cause breakouts.
When I use the moisturiser on it’s own it’s very light weight and dries quickly. It leaves my skin super soft and refreshed but definitely a little tight so I’d recommend using other products alongside this if you have dry skin like me.
I think this will be great in the summer though. Overall I think this moisturiser creates a great barrier for your skin, and keeps it feeling clean. It’s great for when you struggle with skincare motivation and can only bring yourself to use one product or can’t be bothered with cleanser.
However I don’t struggle with the skin issues this moisturiser is aimed at so I don’t know if this works for oily/acne-prone skin.
I have enjoyed this product, although i think that for oily skin, OIL is better! When you dont have enough oil, your skin actually produces more. Drying out your face is not going to help you. So, I actually modify this product! I squeeze a dime size amount of this Supergel into my hand and add a few drops (3-5) of cacay oil, then I mix it around and massage into my face.
Its perfect! I used to consider my skin to be oily, but ive been moisturizing with oil for like a year or two now and i would now consider my skin to now be “normal” but with hormonal acne breakouts.
I like the actives in this gel. Ive seen great results with the face theory products i have chosen: Morning and Night: Gel Cleanser + Replenamist Morning: Porebright, Supergel, Cacay Oil Night: Lumizela, Centasoothe, Cacay Oil.
Just added this along with the regenacalm pro serum and the niacinamide, ceramics complex toner. I have combination skin and I’ve suffered with adult cystic nodular acne my whole life, and I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome too so my collagen is just built wrong, I get horrible skin texture and fine lines really easy, so this particular product is part of the morning routine.
I wash with the clarifying cleanser, use the niacinamide toner, and the gel moisturizer. Then at night, clarifying cleanser, same toner, regenecalm pro retinol serum, eye cream, and regenecalm retinol moisturizer.
I have literally had hideous skin my whole life. I’ve used every acne medication known to man, neutrogena, cereve, even prescription meds, I was on acutane for a while, retinoids that my skin absolutely hated.
nothing ever helped. I’ll be 31 this year, and it’s the first year I’ve felt like I don’t need to hide my skin behind a ton of pore clogging makeup. I can’t say which product has made the most difference, they have all worked and I noticed effects very quickly after starting.
As for this gel in particular, I love how quickly it absorbs, and I saw a very quick evening of my skin tone after the first week or so, but now it has kind of slowed down. that’s fine, I know most products take 12 weeks on average so the fact that I saw any improvements at all is phenomenal.
I haven’t had any break outs since starting this product and ditching My old daytime moisturizer, and I feel like my scars and discolored spots are a little less noticeable. not a lot but I’ll take what I can get lol.
My only complaint is the container. when you first open it it shoots out in a stream, I applied it to other areas to try and avoid wasting it, but it still felt like a waste.

Reviews From Real Customers
I religiously used this product for 5 years and this will be the last time I ever use it. I’m someone with dry and oily skin, and just regular cream based moisturizer never quite hydrated my skin enough.
The original formula of this moisturizer was perfect; it worked well and felt lightweight without it getting overly oily or feeling my skin left dry. I know people had mixed opinions about the scent, but as an Asian-American, the scent was nostalgic and reminded me of those creamy juice ice bars that would come in a plastic tube from the Asian market or Ranch 99.
So, I loved, LOVED the scent. I recently was running low on this product and purchased a new one before I went on a trip because I would be out of my current one by the time I returned home. Today, I opened it since finishing my jar of the old formula and I was heartbroken and disappointed when I opened the box and saw the “new” packaging and even more disappointed by the formula.
I’m not a fan of this change, the new formula doesn’t feel or hydrate like it used to, I hate opening the lid on new formula and getting even a whiff of that “new” non-scented smell from the product.
I’m disappointed in Farmacy for whatever corners they cut to “revamp” or change this moisturizer that didn’t need ANY tweaking in the first place. And to prove how heartbroken and how much I hate this product now, this is my first ever review for anything I’ve purchased from Sephora.
I guess I’ll have to find a different brand because Farmacy isn’t going to get any more of my money because of this. I will never forgive them unless they reverse these “improvements” because they ruined one of their best products.
You should be ashamed Farmacy. Rest in peace original Daily Greens moisturizer, fly high and know that you will never be forgotten :(.
I’ve been an avid user for years. The formula was perfect and never broke out my sensitive skin. UNTIL they changed the formula. I just purchased a new package and to say the difference is huge is a massive understatement.
Whereas previously the moisturizer perfectly absorbed into my skin and truly had the oil free dewy glow you want, the new one adds this weird layer on top of your skin that just…. sits there. It’s kind of sticky like it hasn’t fully absorbed and, this sounds dramatic, but it feels like it’s clogging my pores immediately.
Like when you use a bad sunscreen, or a bad lotion in a pinch, and when you sweat you can feel that layer of sweat trying to come out but can’t and it just feels gross? Yeah. That’s how it feels almost immediately and then subsequently the rest of the day.
You’re just sitting there not sweating and your face can’t breath or dry feeling. It gets worse, especially if you do end up outside and sweating. Needless to say, my sensitive skin that I actually had under continuous control for almost two years now looks like a battle zone with all kinds of breakouts coming up even in areas I don’t usually get them, like my neck.
Y’all, I’m telling you, skip this “upgraded” product. It had to be a change for money purposes because it was NOT for the benefit of the skin when they had a previously perfect product. Just saying.
The new formula ruined this moisturizer for me. I had a subscription and was obsessed with the original formula. The smell was the most amazing and refreshing scent. I always felt like I was transported to a tropical island, and applying it was my favorite part of my skincare routine.
The scent just lifted me up and relaxed me. Now, the new formula has zero scent. The whole experience is non-existent for me as a result. The original formula also just felt better on my skin overall.
I could even apply it right over and around my eye area, and never experienced any irritation. It actually helped soothe my eyes. The new formula burns! I’m so disappointed that the formula was changed so drastically.
I really just hate this moisturizer now. It’s nothing like the original, which was my holy grail and addiction for years. If you’ve ever found a moisturizer you truly love everything about, then you know the devastation of not being able to get it anymore and how hard it is to find a replacement.
I wish they would’ve kept the original formula as at least another option, but it seems to be gone for good. Huge mistake, Farmacy. I will most likely be canceling my subscription for this moisturizer now.
I’m so frustrated that I have to find an entirely new moisturizer from another company, as I never liked any of their others aside from the Daily Greens.

This has been my go to moisturizer for a few years now (I have combo to oily skin) and I do credit it with balancing out my oily skin. However, recently I noticed some sun spots on my face and I know this product has citrus essential oils in it which can cause photosensitivity.
I did the research and it said online that citrus related essential oils only cause photosensitivity in certain amounts, so I reached out to Origins to ask if the concentration of citrus oils were high enough in the product to cause sun sensitivity, and all I got back was a vague response stating “you can be sure the GinZing oil Free Gel Moisturizer is expertly formulated to enhance your skin.
” This response essenitally disregarded my question completely. These citrus oils are proven to causes sun sensitivity. I understand they don’t want to give away trade secrets, but I didn’t ask for exact amounts and you can’t discredit the science that says these specific oils can in fact cause photosensitivity.
I was really disappointed with their lack of transparency. I’ve emailed them twice about this and both times I got super vague answers that did not respond to my question about the citrus oils and sun sensitivity.
A simple “no they’re not at a high enough level to cause this” or “yes they can. ” would have been much better than a vague non-response. And I do wear SPF daily. So for this reason my review is 3 stars instead of 5.
The customer deserves some transparency and at the very least a response that’s directly related to teh question asked.
The Origins Ginzing Oil Free Energy Boosting Gel Moisturizer claims to be an energy-boosting gel moisturizer formulated to wake up dull, tired skin. It contains caffeine from coffee beans and ginseng to help with “waking-up” the skin.
When choosing a face moisturizer for myself, I love to find products that are hydrating and lightweight. I don’t like wearing thick moisturizers because I usually wear sunscreen and makeup in conjunction with a moisturizer.
I have a normal skin type, so I can usually go for any moisturizer. Upon opening the lid, I did notice a citrus smell. It smelled like oranges. So if someone is sensitive to smell, this item may not be ideal.
The texture of the moisturizer was lightweight and non-greasy. The moisturizer wasn’t too thick at all. I believe that it would be comfortable for cold and hot days, since it’s not too thick. Personally, this gel moisturizer didn’t cause any redness or irritation, and it didn’t leave a sticky or tackiness residue on my face.
Overall, I believe that this product, the Origins Ginzing Oil-Free Energy Boosting Gel Moisturizer, would be perfect for all skin types. All in all, I would highly recommend this product to my family and friends.
I have dry skin, I am always looking for some good Moisturizer that hydrates my skin well. This is cream It’s so light on skin, absorbs quickly, leaves a fresh hydrated moisturized soft skin. Worked well under makeup and skin did not look oily or greasy for the whole day.
Overall, my skin is hydrated and I have a bit of natural glow when using this moisturizer. The ingredients such as caffeine and ginseng are an added bonus. Niacinamide was high in the ingredient list so there is a skin care aspect, but citrus oils were also high in the list.
I love how it brightens and wakes up my skin each morning. The scent is is nice it has a citrusy scent. If you do not like scents, then I do not recommend this. I think for very dry or fragrance sensitive skin, you should try a sample first to see if it works for you.
I personally found the scent a bit strong. Highly recommend this to anyone with dry skin or oily skin.

Used the moisturiser only for 2 days, used it at night after cleansing but skin around my nose, lips and cheeks felt very tight with dry patches on second application. Not very happy! I used the Anti aging hydration moisturiser before which was fantastic but wanted to give a break from anti-aging products so tried this one.
The customer service team were super helpful and have suggested further night moisturisers but I am a bit reluctant to buy! Only if I could try them first, wonder if PC will be available in retails shops soon? Customer Care: Hi Reh, thank you for taking the time to let us know how you found our Skin Balancing Moisturiser.
I’m sorry to hear that this was not a good fit for your skin. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Skin Care Experts who would be more than happy to answer any questions regarding which physical retailers stock our products.
If you would like to try some of the alternative moisturisers recommended by our Skin Care Experts but aren’t sure if you’ll love them as much as we do, please remember that we do have a 60 day return policy! Kind regards, Shannon – Paula’s Choice Customer Care.
Because the formula is specifically created for oily skin types, I assumed it would not make me break out. I have been on the hunt for a new moisturizer for almost a year after my holy grail was discontinued.
I bought this moisturizer out of desperation because I was breaking out from another moisturizer. I bought this one and while I waited for it to ship, my skin cleared up as I stopped using the other moisturizer.
I started using this one and have broken out even worse than before! I have stopped using it immediately. I’m so disappointed. There is nothing worse than watching your skin get worse. If you’re acne prone, I don’t recommend this moisturizer.
It was, however, effective in controlling my oil, so if you aren’t acne prone and only require oil control, this may work for you. The texture also isn’t what I expected. It doesn’t have the hydrating, ultra light jelly like texture or cooling feel I expect from gel moisturizers.
It’s definitely a thicker gel and it absorbs into the skin very quickly so you don’t have much time to spread it over your skin. It sort of reminds me of a primer. One good thing about it is that it didn’t have any fragrance.
Only a few days into using this, but I’ve found that this doesn’t really hydrate my skin, even when I use a good heaped fingertip full (more than I’m used to). I also noticed that I have white flakey, dry bits on my face later in the day or in the morning after applying at night.
I’m not entirely sure if this is my skin or bits of the product that are dried? I have rubbed the product in thoroughly so I’d be surprised if it was leftover product; however, this could explain why it doesn’t feel so hydrating? It also stings a bit when I put it on.
This is my first ever Paula’s Choice product and I’m a bit underwhelmed so far if I’m honest. Love the ingredients and safety of the products, but can’t say it’s doing very well for me so far.

Reviews From Real Customers
Okay, first off i never write reviews but i thought i had to for this moisturizer. I have never tried any of Peach & Lily’s products before but was told to by a friend because of how “clean” these products are.
I have extremely oily and dehydrated skin. I have tried so many different brands like neutrogena, cerave, and cetaphil and let me tell you NOTHING compares to this moisturizer. For months I’ve been struggling with dry flakey skin no matter how many times i put on moisturizer during the day to where my makeup looked so caked and gross that i eventually gave up wearing makeup most days.
I’m not even kidding within 3-4 days of using this in the morning and night my skin was no longer dry and flakey and I am able to wear makeup again without it looking cakey. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated but not oily at all, I think it actually has helped with my oiliness because I’m not using those dang oil blotting sheets as much throughout the day anymore and this is the only product I’ve changed in my routine.
It dries a tiny bit sticky but my makeup applies great over it. It doesn’t make me breakout either, which I was very worried about because my skin is very sensitive. I would 110% recommend this to anyone and everyone, especially if you have extremely dry yet oily skin.
I received this product complimentary from Peach & Lily in exchange for my honest review. I absolutely love the texture of this product and how weightless it feels on the skin. Since it is a water-gel moisturizer its light weight yet very hydrating.
My skin feels moisturized without the greasy, heavy feeling other products leave on the skin. I love that it’s made with a proprietary vegan prebiotic and probiotic complex that strengthens your skins microbiome.
Sometimes I can overdo it on different acne products leaving my skin irritated so this has helped relieve that feeling. It also includes ingredients that have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, antioxidants, vitamins and Hyaluronic Acid.
I like that this product is suitable for all skin types but especially for oily, combination and acne-prone skin because that’s specifically my skin type. It also feels great under my daily SPF.
I do extensive research on any new product I use on my face because I have extremely sensitive and acne-prone skin. I thought based off reviews and the description it would be a holy grail product. This was a terrible mistake, within two hours of applying this, my chin became so red, inflamed, and looked like one giant pimple.
My skin has never reacted this badly to a product. It basically glued my pores shut and a week and a half later I’m still dealing with cystic pimples on my chin that will not go away no matter what I do (and I never get cystic acne, just regular small pimples).
I’m so disappointed with this product because it did the exact opposite of what it claimed. My skin on my chin has literally been peeling off in layers no matter how much of my regular moisturizer i put on trying to combat the dryness and irritation this caused and I haven’t been able to leave the house because not even makeup will cover what this product did to my chin.
Do not take the chance and buy this if you have acne-prone or sensitive skin, it’s 100% not worth it when there are so many other options.

Reviews From Real Customers
I really really like this facial cream! I honestly thought it wasn’t gonna be worth much mainly because my spoiled self looks at packaging before I buy or get a product and this was pretty plain. I know better then to judge a book by it’s cover but still I look for fun packaging and pretty stuff! This product may have been plain on the outside or not my typical facial cream packaging but not does it work and make your face feel amazing! I opened it and the container reminded me almost of a chest rub I’ve used for years when sick.
Once I got that out of my head I realized this stuff is it’s own little gem. I really love the feel and how it doesn’t leave my face feeling icky or sticky. With this humid heat in MO I am picky picky about what I apply before going outside since I don’t want it too feel heavy or when I’m working outside and sweat it runs into my eyes.
Not a problem for me here. If this makes sense it give a moisturizer feeling yet drys quickly not leaving a product residue. I strongly suggest this product it’s definitely a great find. Doesn’t have a strong scent and layers good under my make up.
The oil free part really made my skin happy! I really like the more gel feel vs a white cream as well cleanse easy. A little goes a long way!!.
As someone with extremely oily skin, I always have to debate about whether or not to moisturize. I know the importance of moisturizing but it’s so frustrating applying moisturizer and looking greasy within 30 minutes.
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream honestly surprised me because it works very well with my skin. The consistency is very smooth and lightweight. After I applied it to my skin, it dried down to a matte finish which I LOVE.
This is the only moisturizer that actually held up throughout the day, I was noticeably less oily than I normally am. The product came at a great time because my skin had some dry patches from a new face wash and this definitely revived my skin.
While I could rave about this even longer, I do want to note a flaw. As someone else has mentioned, the 1. 7oz size is SMALL. For $32, you’re definitely going to through this quick. I love the formula but I don’t know if I’d want to go and have to repurchase it multiple times.
With that said, a little goes a long way so I’m hoping to get as much use out of it as I can. Overall, I really enjoy this moisturizer and if you’re someone who has been looking for something that won’t make you greasy, I recommend trying this out!.

Reviews From Real Customers
I dug up this picture from 2019 and found several more that I had taken during that time because I recommended this moisturizer to my friends so much. From 2017 to 2019 I only ever used this moisturizer in my skincare routine, and I never regretted it.
It was cooling, soothing, absorbed fabulously, and never felt heavy on my skin, which was congested and dehydrated at the time. Since then my skin’s needs have changed and this gel doesn’t aid me in the way it did.
My preferred delivery method for hyaluronic acid is now The Ordinary’s Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2%. However, I still confidently recommend this gel to friends and family who could benefit from it, and most who’ve tried it have loved it so much that it is now part of their regular routine.
One extremely important thing to note is that any product with hyaluronic acid like this one needs to be applied while the skin is still wet, because the function of hyaluronic acid is to bind to existing water molecules and act as a humectant.
In general it’s better not to dry your skin before using any moisturizer in order to allow it to seal in the moisture. Those who dry their skin before moisturizing also tend to use a washcloth or towel to do so, and unless you literally deep clean these cloths right before each use, they will quickly and easily become breeding grounds for bacteria, and also collect dust and other particles that could irritate your skin or clog your pores.
It pays to understand product usage and your skin type. I have an over-all dryer complexion so I lotion my body daily and moisturize my face every 2-3 days. 1. The product tells the user to utilize AFTER HAVING CLEANSED YOUR FACE.
Not following these steps will result in clogged dirty pores and more acne. 2. You CAN use this product for targeted dry spots you just need to use less. This product, although appears to not contain a lot, goes a long way with just enough to cover your index finger.
You really don’t need a lot or else again, you’re caking your face and over-moisturizing it. This will also cause acne. Maybe if your skin is peeling on your face you may want to use a little extra but otherwise, very little is needed to cover your face.
3. You should not be exfoliating daily. Maybe once a week. If you exfoliate daily then use this product you will get acne. Plain and simple. You’re opening your pores, jamming moisture into them, and NOT expecting acne? Come on now.
Wash your face gently, exfoliate weekly. Moisturize every 2-3 days. Patience is key and you most likely won’t get immediate results from *any* product sold for $30. 4. Results. I could feel a difinitive difference almost immediately.
Product is in fact lightweight and I only needed a 1/4 of a dime size to cover my face. Again, a little goes a long way. Within a week and a half (because it’s not meant to be used daily unless you’ve got severe dryness), My face didn’t just FEEL healtheir it looked fuller, more hydrated and when I get my shark week is around the only time I’ll see a baby surprise zit on my face (this is normal, it’s called hormones silly).
I feel as though individual’s expectations are so high. I assure you that you’ll never find “the golden product” that works year-round. During the winter I won’t be using it because for whatever reason, my face is not nearly as dry.
If you’re looking for a fix-all raise your budget to $80-$150 and consult a dermatologist. Or get botox.
I bought this after doing a lot of research and reading reviews from different sources and personally think this product is not as good as its marketing says. I try to take good care of my skin, and was looking for a lightweight moisturizer to switch to.
I bought this and the first thing I noticed was the smell of cheap cosmetic stuff. That typical smell found in pretty much any regular creams or lotions you get at the supermarket. Regardless, I decided to try it out: texture is quite nice, and it absorbs rapidly into your skin.
But I have been using this for about 5 days and got 4 massive pimples, plus my skin still feels dry. I have never experienced a reaction like this with any other product, and I just stopped using it.
I do not know whether it is the same formulation (this one is made in Brazil) but I definitely do not recommend using it. Plus, for the price paid, I could have bought a much better quality moisturizer.

I was a little Leary at first because the “active ” ingredients in the cartridges- (with the exception of the blue one which contains AHA’s) like taurine and whey protein , are not the normal ingredients you see to combat different skin issues.
But alas I tried all of them except the red. And I was sure I would like the blue one best because again – only known active ingredient. but I actually love this one and have bought it multiple times.
This one makes my skin appear bouncy and fresh. I’m months away from 40 so that’s a pretty big deal. Anyways – I’ve read comments like “oh no they don’t mix together!!” – of course not!!! Lol- are you in cable of taking your finger and swirling them together if it’s so upsetting?? I’m pretty sure it’s still just as effective and according to my dermatologist- this is one of the best moisturizers you can use – I’m just saying.
I have dried skin and have been using First Aid, which works very well but seem pricey. So I thought I tried Clinique, which is more expensive but if it can last me 100 of hydration then it still OK.
unfortunately it couldn’t even hydrated my face for a few hours. My face would get itchy and red when the hydration is gone, which was what happen a few hours after using Clinique product. I have to put other hydration product a few hours after I use this product so my face can get enough hydrate.
If you want good hydration product, use First Aid, which last me at least 12 hours. They smell nice and works long hours. DON’T bother. Clinique is a waste of money. I also bought the yellow one what is advertised to hydrate for 24 hours and it doesn’t work.
It also doesn’t have any smell at all.
I really like this hydrating jelly! It has a texture that I’ve never seen in any other moisturizing products – it’s lighter than most lotions, and it feels very refreshing on the skin! Since I have drier skin, I need heavier moisturizers during the winter/at night.
However, this is a great moisturizer for me to use during the summer, since it’s so lightweight and cool. I also use this after post-workout showers, since I moisturizer twice a day (with the Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Lotion+ in the morning and the Moisture Surge Overnight Mask at night), so to prevent over-moisturizing, I use this after showers to hydrate my skin after showers (since hot showers can actually be drying to your skin), but it doesn’t hydrate your skin too much (since you aren’t supposed to moisturize too much!).
I have found that sometimes this can leave a sticky, tacky feeling on the skin after applying, but it quickly fades away. If you find that feeling unpleasant, then I would definitely recommend using a jade roller to help the product absorb into your skin faster! That’s what I do with a lot of products that work well for me but don’t absorb quickly/are initially super sticky.
This is also a really good deal! For $29. 50, you can get 4. 2oz, which is a lot – my little 1. 7oz bottle has lasted me over a month (and I use it every day!). In conclusion, I would recommend this product to people that are looking for a lightweight daytime moisturizer or summer moisturizer, or people with oilier skin that can’t use heavier moisturizers (like Clinique’s Moisture Surge).

Honestly, this is one of the worst moisturizers I have ever used. That is saying a lot, because I have been working in the skin care and make up industry for over 15 years. This product fails to absorb into the skin, and even using overnight, the product still feels like it sits on top of my skin by morning.
When I am dealing with drier skin in the winter months or after using an intensive topical product, this is the last product I would ever use to remedy it. The cost is crazy for what it is. I prefer so many drugstore brands over this formula, and that’s saying a lot, because I’m not typically a drugstore moisturizer user.
I personally feel like Clinique relies on preteens and “new to skincare” users trusting the brand name to sell this product. There are so many other good options for a fraction of the price. This is just not it, I promise.
I have used CLINIQUE for a long time. In the winter time, I usually add DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT Moisturizing Lotion to my Skincare Routine! On their website, you can find this product in 3 different sizes.
You can purchase 50 ml Tube for $16, 125 ml with Pump for $29. 50 and 200 ml with Pump for $41. Also, you can pair this moisturizer with Clinique iD: Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ + Active Cartridge Concentrate for Pores Uneven Texture.
This set ( moisturizer + Active Cartridge Concentrate) costs $39. 50 total. For the cartridge concentrate you can choose your own base ( Moisturizing Lotion, Hydrating Jelly, Oil-Free Gel ) or other bases which you will find on the official website.
Maybe for someone it will be pricey. This bottle lasts me a long time! 💫.
I am new to Clinique so decided to purchase the TSV mainly to try the exfoliator. It’s been about a week now since first using the 3 step signature products and all I can say is I’m totally impressed with all three products.
I’m using type 2 dry/combination, the gel cleanser does lather and is non-drying. You only need a small amount in the palm of your hands then add lukewarm water and you will get a good amount of lather.
The exfoliator is gentle with no reaction. I normally used liquid gold by alpha H which is very good but I prefer the Clinique exfoliator because it is far more gentle on my skin and it works. I just love the moisturiser.
It is beautifully lightweight and sinks into the skin quickly. My skin feels very soft and this lasts all day. I will most definitely purchase these items again.

Reviews From Real Customers
I have been using the DHC deep oil cleanser for a while but have been looking for a cruelty free alternative. This wasn’t it for me. I was really hoping to like this because I love the Super Bloom Vit C brightening Serum.
Overview: The product is too viscous and doesn’t pull from or cleanse the skin of impurities or makeup that may have a waxier deposit like eyebrow pencil. I ended up with so many little blackheads and tiny whiteheads.
After rinsing the feeling of the product left behind is thick and not the lightweight dewy I was expecting or am used to. It was sticky. I’ve used it sink side and in the shower to try to give it its best opportunity to melt away.
It’s not drying but I feel like I’d get the same results dunking my face in oil and blotting it away. The star is deserved solely because the glass packaging and pump are sturdy and well made. I did take the travel size Kari Gran cleansing oil on a short trip we took and I enjoyed it though the price feels a little steep for my budget.
Overall the Roven Super Bloom Daily Dew Cleansing Oil is not the replacement to DHC for me.
I’m in love with the entire Roven Super Bloom line of skin care products, however the Illuminating Gel Moisturizer might be the one exception. I have rosacea and super dry skin and unfortunately the Illuminating Gel Moisturizer just wasn’t enough for me.
I found myself needing additional moisturizing products through the day. This product was provided to me to test and review, and is specifically designed for people with oily to combination skin. My experience with this product is probably as expected, and not a reflection on the product, but just a result of poorly matched skin care needs.
I will say that the moisturizer is very thin and light weight. The gel goes on super smooth and absorbs instantly and wears very well under makeup. I would also note that my skin is sensitive, and this did not bother me at all.
Its virtually scentless, and didn’t cause my rosacea to flare. While this moisturizer isn’t going to work for me for those that have normal to oily skin, I’m betting this is a home run. (Customer received this complimentary product in exchange for their unbiased opinion.
).
I was fed up, having tried many products for my acne over the years, while it just got steadily worse. About two months ago I started using The Ordinary’s niacinamide and zinc serum, which helped calm and heal my acne, but wasn’t helping prevent breakouts really.
I knew I needed to add a cleanser, but I wanted something natural and gentle, especially since the air is very dry where I live. I got this cleanser about 3 weeks ago, and the difference is amazing!! My skin is so much clearer and improves every day.
I feel confident! It’s possible this could change over time, if so I’ll update my review, but when this bottle runs out I’m definitely getting another!!.

With the Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly, you can give your skin the perfect level of moisture for up to 24 hours. The lightweight face care gel for all skin types is the third step in Clinique’s 3-Step Skin Care System.
The revolutionary 3-Step Skin Care System has been developed by renowned dermatologists and takes just three minutes twice a day. It consists of cleansing with a facial soap, exfoliating and moisturising and gives you radiantly beautiful skin.
The Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly is a light, water-repellent face care gel that hydrates, repairs and protects your skin from pollution. Thanks to the Clean Shield Technology with barley extract, sunflower seed cake and cucumber fruit extract, all the goodness, such as moisture, is trapped in the skin while harmful substances are filtered out.
At the same time, the skin’s natural moisture barrier and resilience is boosted. But that’s not all: The formula also contains hyaluronic acid, which acts as a natural moisturiser. The Hydrating Jelly has a unique water gel texture that is absorbed into the skin extremely quickly, is not sticky and leaves nothing behind but a pleasant fresh feeling.
Phthalates, parabens and fragrances have not been added for the sake of your skin. The result is firmer, healthier skin with a radiant complexion.

Reviews From Real Customers
I’ve been waiting to review this product because I just wasn’t sure about it. If I could, I’d give it 3. 5 stars. Let me start by saying I have very problematic skin. My skin is super dry and easily irritated.
A lot of moisturizers exacerbate my skin problems. I chose this because I thought the oil free formula might give my skin the breathing room it needs. Unfortunately, the product is refreshing but not at all moisturising.
If my skin is dry and I apply it, my skin still looks dry and flaky a few minutes after application. It is necessary to use another moisturizer. Luckily, the dramatically different moisturising lotion came in a grab bag I purchased at the same time and I loved it.
Ended up buying a large bottles as I was burning through the 50 ml. I use a hyaluronic acid serum under my moisturizer in the evenings, and the hydrating jelly feels a lot like that product. Indeed, hyaluronic acid is one of the key ingredients.
If you think of this product as a serum, then its good bang for your buck. Or, if you have oily skin, this could definitely be a good product for you. I’ve also tried applying it in the morning under my tinted moisturizer which works okay.
However, the jelly does leave behind a slightly sticky residue that is more noticeable when other products are added on top. Giving it time to absorb before applying make up or another moisturizer helps.
I made an account just to review this product LOL. So I’ve been using this for the past 3 months and have been loving it! At first, I was combining it with a moisturizer right after and it made my eyes burn (products don’t get in, just fumes and/or scents).
I got rid of the moisturizer and boom, burning all gone. However, although I love the product, the “hydration” isn’t very strong. But for me, I only need some hydration after a cleanse. The rest of the hydration, I leave it up to my body.
TLDR: Long story short, it’s perfect for some and those who combine it with a light moisturizer. But on its own, not super strong. But I find it perfect as I have a more naturalistic approach to skin care.
This is really sticky when putting on, like aloe. I can even feel like little clumps or something when rubbing it in. Not sure if it’s the product that’s starting to dry mixing with the still wet product or if it’s my skin.
Also after it’s dried, my skin feel sticky but yet my skin also feels tight like it would if it was dried out. It says you can use in the morning but I can’t imagine putting makeup over this. I’ve only used it at night so far.
I almost feel like I need a cream on after I use it which would defeat the entire purpose. Just disappointed. I was hoping having a moisturizer with an acne fighter in it would be nice as my step 3, but Im thinking of going back to a normal moisturizing cream.

No clue what it is about this moisturizer but it makes my skin so happy. Delicate fragrance. So hydrating and refreshing. My skin doesn’t dry out or become oily or break out with this. For the record my skin is sensitive (like I can’t even wear lipstick sensitive).
I’m more on the oily side of combination. This moisturizer balances everything out. I hate going without it so I splurge whenever there’s a sale. Please please please never stop making this AMAZING moisturizer.
I have bought this product 3 times as I used it every morning before applying my primer and foundation. I’d also use it on ‘no makeup’ days after I’d showered. A little goes a long way and I do find it hydrating and light.
Most importantly it didn’t give me spots. I couldn’t work out why I was going through the pots so quickly though until I realised on the last one I bought that it evaporates! Even with the lid on! I wouldn’t have realised except I went a few weeks of not applying any beauty products then when I came back the tub the product had all but disappeared so I was left scraping the tub for dregs.
So unless my cats have started a daily moisturising routine. (!) This cream definitely evaporates. So I wont be buying it again.
This light weight oil free is oil and oil combination skin must have, easy to absorb, keep your skin hydrated without greasy feeling. I was not aware of NARS skin but make up products, it was recommended by the beauty advisor when i try the lipstick.
It’s bottled in a cube shape container, sleek design and looks beautiful.

Reviews From Real Customers
I’ve been using this moisturizer for months and I can’t say enough good things. I have combination, sensitive skin that likes to freak out over the smallest things, winter is a nightmare, and I’ve suffered from dry eyelids for years.
This seems to not only have been the magic potion for my face as a whole but even dabbing a bit on my eyelids has completely healed them of their woes (seriously, I tried countless products and lifestyle changes – this moisturizer fixed what I thought was a lost cause).
It doesn’t clog my pores, doesn’t have a strong scent at all, and I love the combination of aloe and green tea. Not too heavy or light, but still adequately moisturizing, and does indeed give you that healthy, dewy look.
My only complaint I guess would be that the full size tube could be much bigger to last longer; I’m buying this often. But oh well! It’s perfect. Please never change or go away.
THIS IS NOT FOR DRY SKIN- THIS IS A GEL MOISTURIZER. A lot of the bad reviews here are people complaining that this wasn’t moisturizing enough for their dry skin. Gel moisturizers are not for everyone as with any skincare product.
If you like thick creams day and night keep on moving, Versed has a ‘Skin Soak Rich Moisture Cream’ that you can try. Gel moisturizers are not thick rich and creamy, they’re not particularly hydrating as there’s less or no oils and are geared for people with combo/oily skin.
You can’t fault the product because you didn’t choose a product geared for your skin type or preference. I have combination skin- oily T zone and dry cheeks. But despite my oiliness I prefer very thick rich moisturizers and choose products that are geared more for people with dry skin.
That being said- this product is not my perfect fit, however, this is still a very very good product. The ingredients are quality, it’s dirt cheap for what you get, it’s soothing, it’s refreshing, there’s no added fragrance that can be sensitizing.
It’s just a solid quality product that you can’t find at this price point anywhere else. I use this from time to time when I don’t feel like putting on my normal thick moisturizer. I love it because it is the most soothing product I have.
When I feel like my skin just needs a break I put this on for healing. I also put this on over my retinol when I don’t want something heavy that will detract from my actives. Although it’s not an every day product for me- this is a staple item in my skincare routine and despite it not being overly moisturizing I find myself continuing to come back to it due to its soothing properties, quality ingredients, and cheap price point.
If it’s not for you it’s not for you, however you will not be able to find a comparable product at this price I assure you.
So I used to love this gel cream so much especially when my skin was oily. Now my skin is dry, sensitive and reactive. This was hydrating my skin like before and everything I would wear it I would get bumps on my face (not acne.
) I didn’t realize this was the culprit until I finished the tube. I looked at the ingredients list and saw wheat germ oil. I have a sensitivity to gluten specifically wheat. No wonder this was happening to my skin.
Needless to say I will no longer be using this product. I even purchased a backup I can no longer return because it’s outside the return window. Anyways I do want to say I do love Versed and their Press Restart Retinol is a holy grail that I’ve repurchased like 4 or 5 times.
I also use their dermaplanning tool which is great.

I’ve been a long-time fan of Liz Earle products but feel I must post about the new Skin Repair formulation. I am a man with quite sensitive reactive skin. One of the superb things about the original range was that any scent was subtle enough to be suitable for any gender to use comfortably.
From an inclusivity perspective I liked that most of the products transcended male and female. However, this is no longer the case. I was disappointed when I purchased the current formulation. The change in texture is notable – a whiter tone, more gluey or slimy compared to the previous cream, more synthetic in appearance and wow it’s heavily scented.
It feels like it leaves a greasier finish on my skin once applied, but the scent is so heavily floral and clawing that it’s off-putting. I want to keep this review objective, but if this cream had been presented to me in an unmarked container I would A: not recognise it as a Liz Earle product (this is what I find so shocking) and B: would say that it felt and smelt like a cheap cream.
I feel like I’ve made a bad purchasing choice. Something that was never the case previously.
This really could have been made for me (and many other LE fans, I suspect). It’s got the 3 the basics plus 2 essential extras in the scrub and hydrating mask. It’s also great to receive 2 reusable cotton pads as I’m struggling to find really good ones.
I absolutely love the hydrating mask: I’m 58 with dry, sensitive skin prone to eczema and this makes my face soft and glowing. I tried the CICA Paste, which did nothing for me, but this mask has immediate and long lasting results.
And as for the very polarising revamped Skin Repair ( I use the Rich), when it first launched I received a sample of the Light and really didn’t like the aroma or texture. However, I’ve used it now from a few kits and I really love it.
It’s aroma is more subtle than the original Sandalwood and the Rich has a waxy consistency, as opposed to the original which was more buttery. I find that I use far less of the new Skin Repair and it leaves my skin feeling plump and nourished, ready to face the elements.
BTW – I’ve left a more detailed review on the item for the Skin Repair Duo. Whether you need to or not, I would stock up on this kit, it’s brilliant!.
I used the light moisturiser during the summer and as my skin has a tendency to be tight in the wintertime I decided to use this during the day. I am delighted with it. It isn’t too heavy but it is working very well at keeping my skin feeling good.
I will continue to use this during the colder weather but I may return to the light cream during the warmer months. Another fantastic product, thank you.

Product Details
Lexli’s gel-based face moisturizer for oily skin is an oil-free, aloe-based, lightweight formulation that works to regulate the skins oil level (sebum) while locking in vital moisture. Daily Moisturizer for Oily Skin reduces shine and mattifies the skin while minimizing the appearance of large pores.
Skin is left feeling hydrated and comfortable, never greasy. Daily Moisturizer for Oily Skin can be used in the morning and evening, year-round, for those with oily skin. During those months when higher temperatures and increased humidity cause skin to become oilier, all other skin types can use this product for day-time oil control.
Reviews From Real Customers
So I heard about Lexli through a podcast, and I decided to give it a try. I really want to love it, but it’s so thick it feels like I’m rubbing peanut butter on my face. It takes a lot of elbow grease to get it evenly distributed on the skin and I just don’t like that.
I haven’t been using it long enough to give a good review of how the product actually works, but the ingredients aren’t bad so I’m hopeful. I will continue using and plan to try other Lexli products in the future.
For my skin this moisturizer is not too heavy nor too light. I use it twice a day and after cleansing with aloe cleanser. I notice less sebum buildup. Realizing there is no broad spectrum SPF in it is worth noting but not a problem as several minutes after moisturizing I apply a 30-50 spf.
I personally was not able to use day moisturizer spf 15 or 30 as it did not agree with my skin. This has solved that problem! I highly recommend this product!.
Conclusion
After testing a variety of gel moisturizers on people with oily skin, we’ve come to the conclusion that gel moisturizers are a great option for people with this skin type. They help to control oil production and keep the skin hydrated without feeling heavy or greasy.
