Reviews From Real Customers
I’ve had this chair for over a month now and wanted to write up an in-depth review of it to hopefully help others! Warning: it’s a bit long. I sit in this chair most of the day (I work from home and it serves as my office and lounge chair) and wanted something ergonomic, with great support, and comfortable for the 8+ hours I use it.
I was debating between this chair and a Secretlab after weeks of research; initially I was looking for a chair with fabric and the Secretlab option was very tempting, but the ergonomic design of this one and the price point (almost $100 USD cheaper than the Secretlab fabric option) made me choose this chair.
I’ll break the review down into parts! The neck rest – I really like the neck rest. It feels a tiny bit too high sometimes, and while the adjustable design sounds great, it doesn’t work quite how I thought.
You have to pull it upwards to change its position/angle and that feels perfect sometimes when I’m leaning back, but it slowly goes back to the resting position because of the weight on it. I’ve placed a towel under it before to keep it there and that works.
It’d be nice if there was a way to keep it in that position. The back – The back feels amazing and the lumbar support is awesome. The mesh is firm and yet has just enough give to make it supportive and comfy, and it definitely helps improve my posture.
It also leans back pretty far and feels very comfortable when I watch something on my tv or computer. The seat – The seat has a good shape to it. It does end about an inch before the bend of my knees, but that hasn’t seemed like an issue.
I often sit cross-legged or with one leg in the seat and to my pleasant surprise this chair feels just fine when I do so, and the arms don’t interfere with that either. I did have a thing for the first few days where my legs almost felt like they were falling asleep; not sure if that was the mesh, the seat shape, or something else (my old chair had zero support and no cushion), but it went away after the first week and since then I haven’t felt it.
The arms – The arms are very adjustable and I love how they feel. At first I was concerned they would be too hard, but I think it works great. I keep them on the lowest setting which feels perfect and have changed their angles at times for more comfort depending on if I was gaming or watching something on the tv.
The wheels – The chair came with two sets of different wheels which was a nice surprise. I put on the rollerblade ones and I loooove them; my chair moves so quietly! I have hardwood floors so I felt they were the better fit.
The mesh – I’ve never tried mesh before, my last office chair was somewhat cheap with fake leather and after seeing how badly it started peeling, I decided I was going to find a fabric chair instead.
Then I came across mesh chairs. After more research I figured either option would work fine, but was still hesitant about trying something with mesh. How would it feel? How would it hold up? It felt a bit odd at first, but after a couple weeks I got used to it and even wearing shorts while sitting in it feels comfortable.
It leaves a slight pattern on my legs but nothing I’m bothered by. The mesh on the back and neck rest also feels very nice. I’m curious to see how it feels during the warmer summer months! Conclusion: The chair is very supportive and pretty comfortable, and stays that way for my 8+ hours in it every day.
I think it’s a very good option for the price and haven’t regretted it. Possibly a slight manufacturing error, I notice the arms are slightly uneven in terms of one is a bit closer to the center than the other, but it hasn’t been an issue and since they’re adjustable I’ve been able to make them the same distance apart.
Only thing that could currently use a bit better design is probably the adjustability of the neck rest. Anyways fingers crossed this chair lasts me for many years!.
After an exhaustive search for a chair within my price range (about $350 being the most), I had finally settled on this chair. I found it for sale on Amazon but sold out during the Amazon 2 Day sale they do each year.
So I found the manufacturers website where it was still in stock. I’ve had it for about a week and everyone in my home is impressed with the comfort and multiple points of adjustability. Put it together in about 30 minutes, zero hassle.
The packing was amazing, each piece individually protected with ample cushion so zero damage in transit. There’s so much that can be said about this chair. The different reclining positions it can be locked into or left open to recline as desired.
The rollerblade style wheels that let me glide on carpet! Adjustable headrest in both height and angle. The seat is incredibly comfortable and so much cooler than my old leather chair because of the mesh type of construction.
Nice padded armrests that move in several directions. Most importantly is the lumbar support it offers me. I have several crushed vertebrae in my lower back and adequate lumbar support was an absolute must.
I’m very very pleased and will be purchasing one for my wife soon. Thank you Nouhaus!.
I’ve had this chair about a month now and it’s a huge step up from my previous chair. I’m 6’0, 190lbs with an athletic build and this chair just fits me. Anyone taller will be running a little past this chairs comfort zone, but anyone less will be fine.
The mesh is springy, comfortable, and keeps me nice and cool. Assembly was pretty standard for an office chair and the build is sturdy with little to no squeaks or creaks. I did reverse the arm rests from left to right & vice versa so I could move closer to my desk and while it’s not intended it works perfectly for me.
The lumbar is also spot on. It’s present but not obtrusive like some other chairs out there and it promotes good posture. All in all, it’s a great chair and worth the investment. The only thing I would change about this chair would be to add a tiny bit of foam(like the front of the chair has) to the sides of the seat to alleviate your legs touching the far edges of the frame that’s beneath the mesh.
This is a very minor annoyance though(plus I’m on the top end of what this chair is spec’ed for) and I’ve grown more accustomed to it over time.

Reviews From Real Customers
Chairs can be awful for bigger people like myself, especially anything with arms. They squeeze your legs together uncomfortably and make you end up balancing on the very edge but not this office chair! The seat is wideset and when assembling you can bring the arms in closer or further apart.
They’re also height adjustable with little buttons you push in to pull up or down. The cushion is comfortable and the back is breathable mesh, making for a nice experience for those times you’ll be sitting for long periods.
Assembly is pretty easy. There’s a few screws that you put together with an Allen wrench (all provided) and a simple sheet of instructions. I had mine put together in maybe ten minutes. That said this chair and all its parts are heavy.
Not a bad thing considering the weight it can hold but definitely have someone help you put it together if you can. The only complaint I have, and it’s small, is that the lumbar part doesn’t really do much because it doesn’t come out far enough to even touch my back.
Not sure if it’s because I’m short or it just doesn’t push out far enough. Either way, not a big deal for me but maybe for some. Great chair, especially for us bigger people.
The Sadie Big and Tall Task Chair is a very sturdy and reliable chair. It came unassembled, but the set up was a breeze and only took about 20 mins or less to put together. The cushion and back support are such a great feature of the chair to give you so much comfort when sitting in it almost 8 hours a day.
It has an adjustable lumbar control that puts extra lower back support right where you need it and use proper ergonomic posture support. To also help with ergonomic posture the arm rests are adjustable and can help keep your shoulders in line.
The cooling mesh back also gives you comfort with the breathable fabric to keep air flowing on your back so you can relax. The casters on the wheels make it very easy for the chair to roll around on the floor with a smooth motion and helps hold up the 350 lb weight limit on the chair.
I can’t wait to have a comfortable chair to do all my work in every day.

Reviews From Real Customers
I’m very satisfied with my purchase of this chair primarily, because, it has very good lower back/lumbar support after I assembled it. That was my essential reason for trying to find a chair that would help me sit up more as well as being able to really give that nice padded support.
Really recommend this chair for someone who needs a firm lower back support/someone who has just started developing arthritis or is a plus size person looking for an accommodating/sturdy work chair. The chair did come with about 3 gashes along side that bottom (only reason it’s getting one star down from me) the wood that must have happened during delivery, but, hopefully, no one is going to notice it since it’s at the bottom of the chair.
Wish they were more careful with the delivery process. The chair looks really official/ sleek/expensive in my government office. Love the quality and feel of the leather and what’s made to look like wood (not sure if it’s actual wood or not), but it looks fancy and matches other wooden-like things in my work area.
Love, love, love, that it’s adjustable and wasn’t too difficult to assemble alone. Great comfy work chair for someone who works a part time job, (6 hours)! Back pain is awful, so please get a great chair for yourself.
This one is certainly just right for me. :D.
Sad to say I was replacing a previous chair of the same I’ve had for about 4 years. The previous chair started to tilt to the one side and didn’t sit up as high as it used to. One time also during the course of 4 years they replaced the gas lift as that too failed.
But this last problem with the chair permanently sitting at a tilt, was a FIRST, so we opted to get another chair of the same, since outside of those 2 issues it had been a comfortable chair and seemed well constructed other than that.
Now 4 years later and just putting together a replacement chair of the same, it is obvious the quality is more subpar. The weight of the chair itself feels lighter than before, I pushed both the old chair and the new one, side by side and there was a noticeable difference, even in lifting up each of the chairs as far as weight.
However the two other factors concern the bonded leather which is definitely MUCH thinner than my previous chair, and like what you see on the more cheaply constructed chairs for like $59-$100. Also the padding for the back part of chair and the very top is horrible, like they forgot to stuff and fill it in more.
I’d forgotten this chair came with a 10 year limited warranty. Had I known the chair was going to be more cheaply constructed this time around I’d have opted to have them just replace the seat plate mechanism that appears to be the reason the previous chair began to tilt to the one side.
I only realize that now because upon turning the old chair over today, you could plainly see that is what happened. A part of it had broken. However the weight limit of the person sitting on the chair did not exceed the amount stated for the number of hours per week.
So I am quite disappointed in the Sealy brand based on the quality of this chair. Don’t think I would be able to recommend it this time around. Especially given the price tag.
I purchased this chair and initially it was comfortable but over time it has required four replacement gas lifts and seat plates. The arm leather has cracked and flaked. The chair needs repair when it leans to one side or the other and the seat plates crack and then when ever you move in the chair it makes a terrible noise.
Now I purchased this chair because of the weight limits, and the warranty, but I did not get my money’s worth. Every time they sent replacement parts they sent either Lazy boy, broyhill or generic seat lifts.
True designs makes all three of these brands. They claim higher weight limits for each brand or model. The last time, today they (2-7-2018) they sent Generic parts and the gas lift is far too short for the chair.
I am 6’2″ and when I sit in the chair it is most uncomfortable. I called True designs again, and asked for the correct gas lift, the problem with this is that while the one they sent me is shorter than the one it is replacing they claimed that they sent the right part and the parts are not marked with model numbers as they are interchangeable between chairs and the manual does not list part numbers for the chair.
I was told this time they would send me a new longer gas lift, but that next time I would have to replace it. But this raises another problem. You cannot separate the gas lift from the seat plate, and they will not send another seat plate with the longer gas lift.
If I had to do it over again, I would not purchase any chair made by True Designs. Each time I have purchased one of their chairs they break down within the first 10 -12 months. even the more expensive chairs break down quickly.
I suspect its because they all use the same poor quality parts. and make no mistake it is always the seat plate that cracks and causes the chair to lean. I am so tired of True Designs telling me that a chair with a 10 year warranty should break down every 10 -12 months.

LOVE this chair! It has a heavy base so no risk of tipping, multiple adjustment points – including arms that fold back – and is super comfortable. If you are a small person this probably isn’t the chair for you, but people at my home between 225 and 400 lbs are comfortable in it.
I like it so much I’m buying another for my personal desk, in addition to my work from home office.

I feel it is very good quality. I am not sure how the seating cushion will last, most seem to lose their comfort but this seems very good thus far for a good price. Very nice looking chair and seems solid.
I put it together by myself but I highly suggest help as you put the seat back on. That part is very difficult, but it should be to hold the chair altogether nice and tightly. This chair is also very attractive.
I like the brown, the leather, the metal. I am 6’3″ 200 lbs, and this chair is a good fit for me. Very happy for that price, and shipping was also timely. I may buy another for another desk here.
The cushioning in both armrests went flat where my elbows sit after just 2 weeks of daily use. Previous office chairs I’ve had lasted at a minimum of a year and even up to several years. This is a nice looking chair upon first look, but the quality of materials seems to be very poor.
Very disappointed that armrest cushions failed after just 2 weeks. Makes the chair rather uncomfortable. The hydraulic lift cylinder also went bad within a year, leaving the chair sunk at it’s lowest setting.
Would not recommend this chair.
Chair would be nice if they could get their quality control together. Seat bottom arrived with tape glue stuck to the seat that would not come off, plus a section of the “leather” surface had pulled-off with the tape; manufacturer sent a new seat base (& back for some reason) to make it right.
However, upon further assembly, I noticed scratched & chipped parts (had to have happened during manufacturing, because the parts were wrapped well), & a ridiculous change to the location of the “L” & “R” markings for the arms, where they have them formed into the metal on the outsides now, NOT on the insides (like the manual shows) hidden from view after assembly! And yes, I have the arms on the correct sides; it would not fit together properly if you put them on the wrong sides (seatback would not be able to bolt-on, as longer bolts would be necessary).
So now I have a raised, sideways “L” & a “R” on the lower parts of the arms that _is_ visible/noticeable; not sure I am going to keep the chair.

I am 5ft 3in and this chair is perfect for me. It went together really easily and it only took a few minutes after you unpacked everything. It was packaged really well and i appreciated that as i had it shipped.
The headrest is at a good height for me and my 6ft son is able to use it, too. I wouldnt expect it to fit anyone who is over 6ft tall. The chair is still comfortable if you are taller unless lumbar support doesn’t fit you well.
A 6ft 7in person who has a hard time with the lumbar support hitting the correct area on their back did not like this chair.
I was hesitant to purchase this chair from some of the mixed reviews, but after using it for the last couple of weeks I don’t regret buying it. The seat is very comfortable and supportive and the adjustable arm rests are a great feature.
The mesh backing doesn’t seem the strongest, but I feel it will hold up just fine as long as you are careful with it. I work from home and sit in this chair 9+ hours a day and every time I sit down I’m so pleased with this purchase.
It also was pretty easy to put together, we were done with it within 30 minutes or so. I’d say this is a great value for what you get. Would highly recommend!.
I have been searching for a mesh back chair to replace the one my daughter ‘stole’ from me, but I wasn’t having any luck finding one I liked. We found this one at our local Sam’s, but I was hesitant to buy it because they didn’t have any on display for people to sit in.
However, I decided to go ahead and take a chance, and I’m glad I did! I work from home, therefore I spend a lot of time in a chair, plus I have severe scoliosis and rods in my back. I can actually sit in this chair all day without it causing me more back pain than usual and it is so comfortable! You will not find a more comfortable chair at a better price!.

No assembly instructions! Just a page with pictures! Lots of small parts and no idea what they are or how they go together. It also looks like someone else returned this junk. The seat looks like it’s been sat on.
VERY UPSET! No recourse since it’s third party, and the seller name on my order history is NOT the same seller name on the page with pictures of some of the parts. Won’t let me pay now for someone to assemble it because that is only available at the time you order it.
This is an insane policy especially when the chair and parts don’t look like what I ordered. I have recently transitioned from a wheelchair and will have to wait a few days to get someone to put this in the car so I can refund it.
Buyer beware! I should have paid more attention to how many 1 star reviews there were. I wanted this chair so I could roll from one room of the house to the other, cleaning, etc, without having to use the wheelchair.
Lesson learned!.
First I’m big. I’m 6’3″ and 300lbs and I’m old and I’m a disabled veteran and not rich. I have been looking for a chair for a long time. The chair needed to be 1 high enough chair seat to the floor at least 19 inches high 2 wide enough for me and my girth 3 comfortable to sit in for hours 4 capable to handle my 300 lbs and not to much money.
There’s another chair like this one that has a USB massage features that is $25 more $209 compared to $175 I choose this one. This chair is not the greatest chair in the world however it’s high enough wide enough comfortable and affordable for me.
I have bad knees and it’s hard for me to get out of a chair that is too low. For me this chair is comfortable enough to sit in so as I am not in pain sitting in for long periods. For me it’s too much of a gamble to pay $500 for a chair this is the chair I use for my computer it’s not a recliner.
It’s not a Egyptian chair that I will be in my tomb I expect it to last for at least a year it’s not a chair that I would sleep in or a beautiful chair it’s an office chair good for using at the computer for a man my size and after such a long time I am content with it.
It was easy to put together in about a half hour I hope I have helped you decide. I buy from Walmart because it is easier for me to return items. Good hunting!.
Go this about a year ago. Very poor quality. The chair is sorely lacking in ergonomic design. The padding compressed badly and became VERY uncomfortable. Also, the screws fall out of the armrests and metal is shearing off where the gas cylinder connects to the lower seat cushion.
Very poor quality.

I bought this at an Office Depot store so that I could try out different brands. This chair was the best of all of them. Sadly, that doesn’t mean that it’s a great chair. Several good things about buying from Office Depot instead of online: (1) The ability to try out different chairs.
(2) A very inexpensive charge for assembling it. (3) Although the store advertises getting your order in 20 minutes, we were told it would not be ready until the next day. That’s still pretty fast compared to online orders without paying a premium for 1-day delivery.
(4) You get 30 days to try it and return it. I am 6’4″, 270 pounds. The chair is rated for up to 400 pounds and is plenty roomy for me. It also rolls easily on my tile floor. Chairs rated to 300 pounds are cheaper ($200-$300 or so) but that doesn’t mean that they can actually handle that much weight in the long run, as I found out the other day when my “300-pound” chair broke in two and dropped my 270 pounds to the floor.
The casters also broke months ago on my 300-pound chair. I pulled the replacement casters off it after buying this chair in case these don’t hold up. Likewise, if I were over 350, I would look for a chair rated at 500 pounds, which will cost more than this chair.
Cons: The head rest was the highest of any of the chairs in the store. Unfortunately, as mentioned in other reviews, the head rest does not lock in place and easily drops down without even being touched.
I wedged a block of foam into the space that the head rest drops into and that keeps it from dropping. When I checked in the store for the chair I had tried to make sure it was the same, the head rest was so tight I could hardly move it, but the salesman couldn’t tell me how to tighten it.
The lumbar support on the chair in the store curved out further than the one on the chair I received and there isn’t a control for adjusting it. There is a large empty space behind it and it may be possible to stuff the space with something to make it stick out more, but I wouldn’t bet on that working.
For now, I’ve just added a small cushion in front of it. They should have made the lumbar support adjustable, but short of that, they should have made it removable. I can feel a zipper on it and could possibly stuff some filling into the support, but I can’t easily get to it.
The chair was one of the most comfortable in the store, but after a few hours of sitting on it, my tail bone began to hurt. I added a seat cushion with the tail bone area cut out which is helping, but now I have a moderately expensive desk chair a block of foam wedged beneath the head rest, a cushion behind my back, and a thick seat cushion to sit on, but that’s not all.
Like most/all “leather” chairs in this price range, this chair is covered with “bonded” leather, which is famous for peeling apart in a relatively short time. To forestall this, I put a black bath towel over the seat.
Clearly, none of these “fixes” are things you would want to do in an office. I’m just using this chair at home, so I can live with it, but it’s not ideal. The knob for controlling the force needed for tilting the chair back can’t be reached while sitting in the chair.
It came set for maximum force, so it must be adjusted for normal use. Another first for this chair (for me) is that the chair’s back doesn’t just tilt back – the whole chair tilts. And it doesn’t fully recline.
More questionable design. I could return this chair. The salesman even said I could exchange it for the floor model if I liked that one better, but that’s a bit of trouble and there’s no guarantee that another brand won’t have the same or worse flaws.
As I said, this was the best of all the others in the store.
I had to return this chair on the same day it arrived. First of all, the box was in such bad shape that it was almost in pieces and bursting out. The tape to close the box was almost non-existent. The chair itself seemed used and had some minor scuffs on it, and it was probably a return.
The backrest part that bolts into the seat (both the metal and the leathery part) were filthy dirty and if I ran my finger on it, it’d come out black. I returned the chair and bought a second one expecting it that this time I would get a new chair but I was wrong again.
The second chair also seemed used with many scuffs on the arm rests. This time it the chair itself was not dirty but the box was in similarly bad shape as the first one. The bolt holes in the backrest metal that connects to the seat had round marks around the holes clearly showing that they had been bolted before.
I could even live with all this since I didn’t want to have to return a second chair, but the straw that broke the camel’s back was the fact that, once bolted, the backrest was bent, which did not make the backrest aligned with the seat and would make whomever is sitting on it slightly tilted to one side.
You can actually see that one of the holes under the seat where the backrest gets bolted into is misaligned. Office depot should review it’s policy and procedures on when to put returned stuff back on sale as new.
This chair is clearly not new, and even it it were, the backrest misalignment would not make it fit for customer consumption.
I am 6’4, 180lbs, I struggled for many years with office posture due to my height. I thought this chair was going to fix my problems. I was so excited to find out about it. So, pros and cons: PROS: Great cushion, great knee height for level hip flexors.
Uhh. leather? CONS: The tilt feature is neat, but It tilts the entire base of the chair, not just the back. This is awfully uncomfortable after sitting for a long time, as I have to stand up if I want to stretch my hip flexors, and other legs muscles affected by prolonged sitting.
The armrests are only built for big people. Nothing wrong with being bigger than you are tall, the chair is rated for 400+ pounds for a reason, and the pneumatic spring is pretty fantastic. My problem stems from the functionality of the “4D” armrests spacing.
They are way too far apart for someone who is simply just tall (such as myself) So keep in mind fellow tall, lanky people, You will continue to have postural issues and sore shoulders/traps because of these awfully wide arm rests.
Even with them adjusted inward all the way, there is no comfortable resting position for my arms.

So it’s not gonna say “verified buyer” for me because I don’t feel the need to create an account on a website just to buy a chair, that’s weird, but I have proof and promise I bought it. Anyway. The head rest is awkward.
I’m only 5’10” and if I sit with proper posture my head can’t touch the headrest, my shoulder blades are against the back of the chair but the headrest is too far back so I either have to shove my head back with poor spine alignment to get contact or tilt my head back to the point I’m staring 8 feet up the wall which is obviously not where my computer is.
And even then my head is on top of the headrest while the rest supports my neck? Again, I’m average height, so not too tall or anything. Just a weird headrest that’s all together pointless and functionless.
The seat cushion is as hard as you’ve heard it is. It’s softened a bit over the past few months, but not much. It’s super hard, it doesn’t feel like sitting on stone, but it’s close. The back is fine but I don’t really feel like my back is supported because there’s so much slack in the cloth that it creates a hammock like effect in between the sides of the frames so I end up feeling like I’m being cradled more than I’m being supported.
Also, it has super poor craftsmenship. I had three staples come out of one side of the chair just from normal use. As in just sitting in the chair normally and working three of the staples that attach the fabric to the frame came out.
I’ve owned the chair a little under 5 months and those staples started coming out in under 3. It’s not very tall. I have the chair on the highest height setting and that’s sorta enough to be in an ergonomic typing position at my desk on the lowest setting (29.
5 inches) but I really wish it would go just one or two inches higher. All in all, it works, it’s not the worst chair ever, but I don’t like it, and I especially don’t think it’s worth 400 freaking dollars.
This is a 150 dollar chair masquerading. I haven’t even owned it 6 months and I’m already looking for a different one. I’m only on this site right now looking at the refund policy and decided to leave a review while I was here.
I do not recommend, cannot recommend. Shipping time was fast so there’s that but I also live in the same city as the company so i don’t know if that will be the case for everyone.
I love how this chair forces me to sit upright and have better posture. It is pretty comfortable and was a breeze to assemble. I just got it today and noticed one odd thing about it: The mesh seems to be “fuzzing out” at the places where my back has the most contact with it – mainly near the lumbar region.
Very odd. At first I thought my sweater was shedding onto the mesh, but then I realized that fuzz was actually the mesh itself. Weird! I hope that doesn’t mean the mesh won’t hold up well over time? I have to say that the armrests are a very hard plastic, no padding whatsoever, so I don’t find myself wanting to rest my arms to much on there.
Overall, I think the frame and legs/wheels are solid and it’s certainly a heavy chair so I feel like it’s made well. But because of the feel of the mesh and how it’s fraying on Day 1, and the rock hard armrests, I’m only giving it 3 stars.
I own two of the Vert Ergonomic chair to go with my very wide standing desk. The chairs were okay at first, but have gradually gotten far worse. I threw away the boxes after opening them and did not realize that the box was necessary to return these.
I have been using the chairs now for 3-4 months and they are very uncomfortable after 20 minutes of sitting. The cushion you sit on feels very firm, and cheap. It does not flex much at all. When seated it always feels like the cushion is trying to lean forward so you are always tensed up to prevent yourself from sliding out of the chair.
The back of the chair’s tilt mechanism is even worse as it will not stay tilted back. You have to actively fight this chair to be able to lean back in it. There’s a lot of strength in whatever mechanism is causing the back to spring back.
I can never stay seated long to see if the back support is an issue or not. I think we can all agree that the most important part of a chair is literally the seat itself which this chair absolutely fails to do correctly.
Prior to buying these, I looked at plenty of other chairs, but were all in the thousand price range. Before buying these I read through so many reviews on here thinking these were the chairs I’d finally choose.
Do not buy these chairs.

I got this office chair on sale. I was not expecting a fancy chair or something that you can get with $300 or more. I was very surprised on how comfortable it is. Because it is mesh back and bottom, I am not suffering when I am working 9 hours Infront of the computer.
It lacks some adjustments in the back ( I am not expecting that for the price). I am happy with my purchase on this basic office chair.
This is the most comfortable office chair I have ever had! I’ve had some for over $500. and this one is better than those. The seating being a mesh is so nice, I don’t burn up throughout my work day.
The support for my back is in the PO effect spot. I don’t feel worn out after a 12 hour day. I will buy again, when it’s time to get another office chair.

The ergonomic chair is easy to install, and it has one extra screw of each size, which made us feel kind of safe when putting everything together. The modern look is not that fancy but looks cool and the quality is decent.
It is pretty comfortable for me (as well as my cats. ), not too soft or too hard. The adjustable lower back support gives me more chance to make adjustment based on my needs, so as the head support. Five wheels make the chair move smoothly.
Everything seems durable and let’s examine it by time.
This is my first $200 office chair and quite an investment, but it’s totally worth it. It was quite easy to assemble and comes with adjustable hand rests, which is a very handy feature. The seat cushion feels supportive yet breathable.
The rubbery wheels are a nice touch since they don’t produce much noise while scrolling around (which my downstairs neighbor who has ultra-sensitive hearing appreciates. ) Overall, all parts are well built and have thoughts put into them.
Pretty! Installation is simple and comfortable to sit up! This butterfly wing-shaped waist support deeply attracted us. It can provide good support for the back. There is almost no sound from the wheels when sliding.
This mesh chair is beautiful and breathable. My wife just snatched it and threw hers to me. I will buy another one here if necessary.

Cons: The back support doesn’t go up as high as I want it to. The arms have different max heights. It could be a little cushier to sit on and have cushy arm pads. I accidentally twist the arms a lot and I don’t know how to lock them.
Pros: The chair goes up higher than most chairs which is great for making the desk lower which is better for carpal tunnel. Also I can kick my feet around a lot with a higher chair. The chair rolls around and swivels easily.
I like the fabrics used to make the chair. The arm support is wide enough that someone who wiggles around isn’t constantly having their arms go off. Overall this is a nice chair. I have the FlexiSpot height adjustable desk and pedal desk.
I would say that the adjustable desk and pedal desk are better quality than this chair, though the FlexiSpot sticker fell off of one side of the bike right away. But the chair is still at least on par with things you would find at Staples.
I’ve had this chair for about 3 months now, and it’s okay, but for the price range I would expect it to be a lot better. I bought this chair because of the arm rest adjustments, and to be honest they’re totally bunk.
Mine basically slide left to right freely which is incredibly annoying. I wish they locked in front to back, as it takes a little more than a couple pounds of pressure to accidently move them. The cushion itself is hard, if not harsh.
Mine feels like it hasn’t broke in at all, and has very little give nor cushion. The lumbar support itself isn’t terrible, but the adjustment mechanism is. I’m constantly accidentally moving it while sliding into my chair, and having to readjust it – and I accidentally overshoot the top rung constantly while I do readjust it.
It could realistically move in 5 smaller increments and be a lot better. The headrest on the chair is a little narrow, and bumps my glasses if I look to the side while leaning back. The pros include the shape of the mesh back, which is actually relatively comfortable.
The spring tension on the lean function is very comfortable for me. I also find the base of the chair, while plastic, to be very nice and stable. I’m a shorter person at 5’6″, and the chair does fit me well by most accounts.
Overall it’s just okay. I’ll keep it, but if I could do it again I’d definitely spend the extra money for an Autonomous or a Steelcase.
I have really tried to make this chair comfortable. I have added aftermarket cushions to the arm rests that were so hard and a bit low. I really dislike that they do not move back when the back reclines a bit.
The lumbar support feels like it is on upsidedown. It protrudes far too much no matter how I adjust it. This chair is a work day torture device. I shocked how terrible this chair is. It sits a little bit off level too.
I expected it to be a good as the bike desk. I have really enjoyed bike desk a purchased the chair expecting the same satisfaction. This chair really missed the mark. Terrible and uncomfortable.

Nicer chair than the heavy duty one I purchased for $250. Relatively easy to assemble, holes line-up, all parts included, and goes together as it should. It is a “light duty” chair so if you lean to one side too hard or push on the armrests too hard the will flex, but is certainly adequate for my 200lbs.
I rate a product off of it’s value. I don’t expect a Steelcase quality product at this price. This chair, in my opinion, is a good to very good value.

Reviews From Real Customers
IšverstiShow in original languageReceived the box quickly and in great shape, everything was wrapped and packaged well. I’m still deciding how much/if I like it. This is a well-priced chair and not super expensive compared to others but it’s still a decent amount (for me).
I did a LOT of research finding a great chair for my budget and this is the first chair I’ve ever put this much money into and am a little disappointed in the lack of smoothness in operating the adjustments.
More on that in a moment. First, the pros: The look of this chair is awesome (I got the white frame with the gray accents (seat, back, top of arm rests) and the construction feels solid. The package does not come with printed assembly instructions but a QR code to scan and it pulls up the PDF.
Unfortunately, the Assembler (a. k. a. my husband) couldn’t pull it up so he did it without. He’s put together many of these kinds of chairs so it wasn’t a big deal for him. The height of the back is perfect (for me) and the mesh is really nice looking on top of breathable (main purpose), and the lumbar support behind it is fantastic.
The seat itself, besides the tilt I mention later, is super comfortable. Getting in and out of this chair feels very. supportive yet springy? I don’t know the right words to describe it, but it’s really nice.
Just use care when pressing down on the arm rests when you sit down/get up/shift positions because they’ll move forward/backward with pressure. Speaking of the arm rests, they do not have padding really but it’s not super hard either.
It’s not uncomfortable at all and I actually like not having the extra padding, it would just fall apart over time. I really like all of the adjustment options this chair provides and the overall clean, polished look.
Now for the bits where I feel a bit disappointed, some of these things people might not care much about, but I do and am sure others will so I’m putting it here: When you watch the video on the website the arm width and seat depth adjustments look easy and smooth, this is not the case with my chair.
It’s more herky jerky and I have to put some real umph into pushing/pulling to get those parts to move. Hopefully it won’t be much of an issue once I get it set up the way I like and don’t have to play with those levers anymore but it would be nice to not have it be so hard to adjust.
That I can live with, the one thing that really makes this one hard to know if I’m going to like it over time or not is that the front seems a bit lower than the back so I feel a bit pitched forward when sitting in the chair, this I do not like at all.
Time will tell and maybe I’m just so used to cheap chairs that I don’t know what a truly ergonomic & quality one feels like in terms of the seat pitch. I do know that as I’ve been writing this review my posture is better than when I sat in my old chair!.
IšverstiShow in original languageI was so excited about discovering Branch because I wanted a high-quality, adjustable, ergonomic chair and most of the ones I saw were over $800. I couldn’t believe it when I found the highly-rated Branch chair for under $400, and after living with the chair a few months now, I realize it really was too good to be true.
Outside of the horrible quality control and failed attempt at rectifying it (more on that below), it’s just an ok chair. There’s a fair amount of assembly involved, and I found that after sitting in the chair for a couple months you need to go through and re-tighten a lot of the bolts to correct for wiggling/creaking in the chair.
Also, the arms, even right after assembly, never seemed quite “tight” enough and had some wiggle. The one arm I’m left with on the chair (again, more on that below) is also not super easy to adjust. Even without the grueling experience I had with the chair or the fact that I only have one arm on it, I can’t honestly say it is any better than a $200 chair I could have picked up from Staples except that the design is slightly cuter and you can reposition the lumbar support.
Now to expand on the aforementioned quality issues. When I first got the chair, I assembled it (again, not exactly as straightforward as they make it seem) and it was so weird because the seat kept sliding in an out without locking in position.
I definitely followed the instructions to push it in and not let the little lever go until it “clicked” but I just never heard a click. I contacted customer support (by the way, their responsiveness is the only reason this review has two stars) and after some troubleshooting we figured out that there was a manufacturing defect with the seat of the chair which was preventing the teeth from catching on the locking mechanism.
They immediately sent me a new seat and told me to “donate” the old one. I took off the old seat (which required two people and was a huge p-i-t-a) but was so relieved when the new seat locked on like it was supposed to.
Success! But wait. when attempting to then attach the second arm, it would not fit into the groove at all (it fit perfectly fine in the old seat). Contacted customer support again (and again, they were very responsive and helpful), and low and behold, the second seat also has a manufacturing defect.
I just couldn’t believe it at that point. If Branch expects its customers to assemble the chairs rather than shipping them assembled, do they not test their parts before shipping? And what are the odds that I get two defective seats in a row??? I was so tired of dealing with the chair at that point (and again, I really didn’t think it was anything special anyway) that I decided to request a refund.
Well, if you do that, you have to ship the chair back to them fully disassembled, then they tell you to “donate” the non functional parts. They sent me instructions for disassembly, which required WD-40 and a lot of muscle, and in the end we couldn’t get the chair taken apart.
Somewhere in the process I did just ask for a full refund without having to return anything, and they said they couldn’t do that. So now I have just been living with a one-armed chair, and then an extra seat and an arm that I can’t actually “donate” anywhere (I’ve called everywhere and obviously no one wants only the seat and an arm to a chair) but I just can’t bring myself to fill a landfill with it.
I’ve decided I’m going to live with the chair for another year or so and then donate it (I did confirm Goodwill will take a one-armed chair, or I think you can just take the other arm off for balance), and meanwhile save up for one of those $800+ chairs I should have just purchased in the first place.
Again, two stars for very responsive customer service who really did try to rectify the problem.
IšverstiShow in original languageI spent a lot of time researching various options before buying the Ergonomic Chair. I wanted to do better than the bonded leather Big Office Box Store “executive chairs” I’ve used in the past.
I intended to order the headrest with the chair, but it was backordered (and still is). Here’s my take after about 2 weeks’ of use: General comments: -I didn’t immediately sink into the chair and think “this is comfortable” – it has taken some time to get used to.
After the first week of use, I noticed my abs were a bit sore – no doubt compensating for a change in posture (my old chair let me slouch). This has since resolved. -When I initially sat in the chair, I had the feeling that the seat pan tipped forward, but I don’t notice this anymore.
-The seat cushion is firmer than I am used to, but not uncomfortable What I really like: -I love the color of the chair (blue) and all the adjustment options -Assembly was easy -It feels like it puts my body in good alignment and encourages me to stay that way -The arm configuration allows me to get closer to my L-shaped desk than my previous chair, which definitely helps my posture and productivity -The casters roll well and don’t get hung up on the carpet like my old chair (I use a mat, but sometimes the wheels roll off the mat) What I would change/don’t like as much: -Without the headrest, the more extreme tilt options strain your neck as you try to hold up your head (and the headrests for the blue chair are backordered currently) -The seat material is a magnet for dog hair and it isn’t particularly easy to get it off with a tape roller – The lumbar support is the part of the chair that is the weakest – no matter how I adjust it, it sometimes feels like there is a solid plastic edge pressing into my back, despite the padding.
It’s gotten better as I have gotten used to it, but there’s something about the shape or position of it that is just not quite optimal. I find myself messing with it a lot. It’s not a complete deal breaker, but it’s the main thing I would change if I could (other than adding the headrest).

After recently relocating, I was using a chair that was hurting my back so one day, after not being able to take it anymore, I rushed out to my local Office Depot to see what they had. After looking at a multitude of chairs they had on the floor, I settled on this one, the Realspace Lenzer.
Assembly was reasonably straightforward and before long I sat down to a much more comfortable working experience. What I like about this chair is that it offers good support to the back, while at the same time being light and airy.
I was afraid, in fact, that the mesh back would not be sturdy enough to support my lower back, but it is surprisingly comfortable on the back and the adjustments are handled by one simple lever. Push it down to raise and lower the chair and pull it horizontally to lean back.
It also has a slick, contemporary look and, as mentioned before, is not inordinately heavy or bulky. I hope the mesh back stands the test of time. So far so good. I would recommend this chair to anyone looking for an office chair who plans to spend a lot of time behind their computer and wants a cool look as well.
I’ve had this chair a week, and wish I had bought it a year ago! Fewer aches and pains. Working at home has extended, and I missed my ergonomic chair from the office. This chair tilts nicely, vertical adjustable and responsive.
Moves nicely on my hardwood floors. It was the only high back chair in the store, and I appreciate that it is supportive that my head. The grey color compliments my house decor, and no obnoxious black mass, no weird chrome accents to startle your eyes.
Just a nice, comfortable, ergonomic chair that blends nice with @ home decor.
I bought online for store pickup. I was very excited, I tried the chair in the store before taking home the one I bought to assemble. I LOVED the one in the store, but this one is very very firm and the neck rest is awful.
Maybe the one in the store was “broken in” and mine isn’t. Either way, this is not for a petit person. Even my 6’4 husband thought the head/neck rest was poorly placed. As I assembled it, I noticed there were a few runs in the seat cushion.
I thought if I liked it enough or if my husband liked it then we could overlook the runs on the cushion, but this chair is awful.

This is very beautiful once constructed. I am disappointed that the stainless Steele top is slightly rounded. It meant I could tighten the sides down but not the middle. It isn’t obvious unless you bend down at eye level with the top, therefore I am keeping it because the hassle to return and get a new one is not worth it.
But really, if you’re going to spend money on a product you should not have to settle for flaws.

There was such a messy and annoying experience trying to order myself a nouhaus rewind chair. I was being sent constant messages for %15 off my FIRST ORDER codes, but there was no way for me to input the code on their website.
When I finally reached customer service, i was told that i can order the chair and receive a partial refund after my purchase, all i had to do was take a screenshot of my coupon code and send it to their support email, and so i did.
I do want to add that i also asked about their shipping cost for returns, which she mentioned would be refunded if i return within 30 days i believe ? And i also wanted to make sure i can get this additional %15 off in addition to their cutrent sitewide sale, which she assured me i would.
Those factors were all important in my decision to order the chair, and so i bought it right away. Anyways, after sending my email with my code, Their support reached back to me hours later and said that i was “confused”, that i was just sent a link to their %15 promotional sale thats going on their website, so basically i was not able to get an additional %15 with the code i received.
So i know the difference between a link and a code, the messages of the offers i was being sent included both (A link to what i wanted to purchase, and a 5 digit code). And so i replied to them the same day and they never responded.
I want to add on my reasoning as to why i know i was sent a coupon code and not just a link to my purchase. After my purchase, i was sent yet another message giving me my order# and another 5 digit coupon code for %10 off my purchase, with another link to their website right under the code.
So that makes it obvious that i was not confused, it was either support that was confused, or they just didn’t want me using a coupon code. I waited a day and after no response from their support email, i called, i told them about my issue with this and the lady who picked up was not the lady i talked to days prior, but she seemed familiar with the situation which led me to assume she was the one who reviewed my email.
She tried telling me the same thing, that i was simply sent a link to their %15 site sale, which i argued that i was sent multiple coupon codes FOR MY FIRST ORDER, which are completely distinct from the links, but all she could say was that during their website sale, they take out the input box to insert the coupon (which i was never made aware of until this final call), and she mentioned something along the lines of talking to her manager, and how i cannot get any further discounts on my product.
She then asked if i wanted to cancel my order and i agreed. What annoys me is that i called to make sure i could i could get my additional %15 off, Nouhaus would rather cancel my order than honor that.
I hope this gives whoever reads this an idea as to what their customer support is like, it was quite an annoying experience for me.
I was attracted to the chair because if it’s design, many office chairs are overly bulky or just unattractive. I also needed something that was going to keep me cool, I live in a tropical climate with no AC, and provide support.
They got the exact proportions of seat depth and back support so spot on that it feels custom made for me. I feel locked in and ready for work. And the wheels! You get a choice of old school plastic guys or roller blade-y wheels that are kinder to floor surfaces.
And just look nifty. They also give a little extra boost in height so for the shorter in stature among us, it really makes getting the right height attainable. Most times I feel like the chair has to be fully extended and over the course of the day, I start sinking.
So far, this chair performs so admirably that I don’t think about the fact that I am sitting at all.
This is my second chair of the same type from NouHaus. These are simpler and just as sturdy as the very expensive Herman Miller chairs purchase by my employer. I also love the design and style of these more.
Might drag one of these to work when this whole pandemic thing is all over. Thank you for making such an excellent yet affordable product!!.

Reviews From Real Customers
I was dying to get a new chair due to long working hours in front of the computer. Since pandemic hit, the work set up has been a struggle! I tried and returned 3 other chairs that I bought from Amazon.
My chiropractor recommended me high end chairs like Herman Miller’s Aeron but the price tag wasn’t really in my budget, so I started browsing other sites like Branch, Autonomous, etc. I came across EazeeChairs but had a very uneasy feeling – perhaps because of how the website looked? After reading many reviews online and seeing how they had the chairs with footrest, I decided to give it a shot.
Right out of the box, it was extremely easy to assemble. I am a 5′ 2″ petite woman and I was able to put it together in less than 30 mins. After trying it for a couple months now, I definitely feel comfortable on this chair.
I still love the footrest because I don’t like my feet to be on the floor all the time. The seat itself gives plenty of room so it’s convenient for those who like to fold up their legs like myself. The arm rest goes up and down, which is the minimum that I need.
Surprisingly, I can also reach the head rest (yes, for once!! this is pretty amazing for a short person xD) One feature I don’t use a lot is tilting – I fell backwards with my old chair and it was apparently a very traumatic experience for me, so I am hesitant to try that again and couldn’t give much feedback on it.
31/2 months waiting. That was the amount of time before I could order the chair due to it being out of stock. After ordering the chair it was another two weeks before the chair arrived in the warehouse for shipping.
Add to that another week for delivery it makes a long time to get a chair. Was it worth the wait? ABSOLUTELY!! Putting the chair together took me about an hour. No problems following instructions provided.
The chair moves quietly and easily over the wood floor compared to other chairs I have had. The arms are comfortable and adjust so that do not interfere with the keyboard draw on my desk. Seat is very comfortable along with the lumbar support.
Had occasion to contact customer support during my process and they were very prompt answering questions during the initial wait before ordering and especially during the shipping delay. See too many reviews about bad customer support but not the case with EazeeChair.
For the price, this is a good chair. It is not fully “ergonomic” in that it isn’t adjustable in many ways that you would need to really prevent repetitive strain injuries. You can adjust the seat height, back angle and arm rest height, and that’s it.
I find that the arm rests are too far forward and don’t allow me to comfortably use my ergonomic split keyboard. Unfortunately you can’t adjust the armrests forward and backward. Also, I find the arm rests are too close in to my body.
You can adjust these very slightly (about one inch) but you need to do that by unscrewing the bolts on the bottom of the chair, so it’s not very convenient. The lumbar support is a nice feature, but I find it doesn’t come out far enough to really support my back.
I ended up using a lumbar cushion instead. Also, the head rest is terrible. It’s so far forward that it pushes your head forward (like an airline seat when fully upright). That also can’t be adjusted (you can only adjust the height and tilt of the headrest).
Anyway, a chair that is fully adjustable in all these dimensions would be 10x the cost, so if you’re OK with the limited adjustability, this is a great chair. If you have serious concerns about repetitive strain injury you should look elsewhere, but be prepared to spend a LOT more.

The good thing is the chair has a lot of adjustments – tilt, back angle and height and super easy to put together. The not so good – I wish the back was padded instead of mesh. When I lean back I can feel the top of the frame digging into my back.
The seat bottom is firm and has a premade butt print in it which seemed comfortable at first but after sitting a few hours my butt began to hurt. Also, the fabric on the chair is slippery and can feel myself slipping off.
It would be great if they had a “leather” option for this chair. I’m still on the fence about keeping this chair or finding something else. It’s really difficult finding a comfy chair when you can’t sit in it before buying.
Overall, mostly pleased two weeks in. The seat and back are really comfortable… nice air circulation. Only two complaints: (1) the arm rests feel cheap (opposite if the seat, which feels nice) and don’t adjust forward/backward, and (2) the assembly instructions were at times confusing about which direction parts should face.
In total took about 2. 5-3hrs to put together. That said, overall pretty happy with this purchase so far.
Being one of the many that have been moved to working from home during Covid, I was making due with a classic oak desk chair until I could go back to the office. It matched well with my oak roll top desk, but not so well designed for 8 hour of sitting! So I finally broke down and ordered myself a chair.
This one is pretty great, though does creak a little as I lean back I weigh about 200, so perhaps that’s it, and it isn’t bad. Otherwise, a very comfortable seat, and like the adjustable arms. I have been using it daily for about a month, and am pleased!.
Conclusion
When it comes to choosing an ergonomic office chair for tall people, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, you’ll want to make sure that the chair is adjustable to accommodate your height. Second, you’ll want to choose a chair with a backrest that supports your spine and a seat that is deep enough to allow you to sit all the way back without your knees hitting the edge.
Finally, you’ll want to make sure that the armrests are adjustable so that you can rest your arms at a comfortable height.
