20 Best Chips To Eat On Weight Watchers (2022 Updated)

If you like BBQ flavored chips and light, airy crisps, then this snack is for you. Perfect as a side to a sandwich or veggie burger. Or, as a quick stand-alone snack! I was cautiously optimistic when I purchased this crisp as I’ve been disappointed by low-point snacks that tasted like cardboard.

But, this one truly delivers. Tasty and only 2 points. Only negative: Whew! This one sure is priced high for the quantity.

I’ve been purchasing WW barbecue potato crisps for over a year now and the other day I noticed that some of the bags I have are different in design and size. Some bags are 17 g and some are 21 g the description in the Ww shop says they’re 17 g.

I’m not sure when I bought each because I keep them in a basket but I noticed that the 17 g bags expire in October 2022 and the 21 g expire in November 2022 so I’m not sure if the sizing became the result of shrinkflation or whether they’ve been upsized in error? I do buy them in both the small box and larger quantity box offered!.

I love potato chips. This was always my go to with any sandwich or late night snack. Since on weight watchers I have been trying to find a good alternative to the potato chips I normally eat. The WW BBQ chips have definitely done that.

They have great BBQ flavoring, nice crisp like a chip, not greasy and just tastes really good.

I just received these and included were free Sea Salt Hummus Crisps. The. Best By date for the potato crisps is in approximately 8 weeks and the hummus crisps is 6 weeks. I have bought WW food in the past and there has always been a much later Best By date.

It’s ironic that if I want a fresh tasting product I have to gobble these up in a shorter period than I planned. I would recommend the product itself, but would like better transparency about the freshness of it.

Of course, I can’t complain too much about something that’s free.

These are really good for a 2 point crunchy snack. This loses a star for 2 things – 1. I don’t really enjoy rice cakes, and these chips are basically flattened rice cakes and in each bag, there are usually a chip or 2 that didn’t get flattened.

Then it’s too close to rice cake for me. For the price, I need to get every chip I can out of the bag. Ha! That leads me to reason #2. The price. I understand that better choices cost more, but that stinks and plays into “Fat America” eating like crap costs way less.

My husband I both eat them so we need 3 boxes to get through a week of crunchy snacks, as opposed to $5 for a bag of Pirate Booty to get us through a week. The cost is more than triple.

While the chips are very small, I get the tortilla chip taste and crunch that I need and not overeat. HOWEVER. The amount of chips in each bag are FAR FROM CONSISTENT. I have had a few bags that have only 5 chips and other bags that have around 20 chips.

Whatever company is manufacturing and filling the bags need to get their act together. There is ZERO quality control at the manufacturer. I just ordered a case and now I am concerned how many bags will be almost empty.

WW, quality check the companies that produce your products! Inconsistencies in product are UNACCEPTABLE.

This tortilla chip is good if you’re having a chip craving. Honestly, I’m not a salt fan, but these have too little salt – I would prefer a little more for flavor. I prefer the Nacho Tortilla Chips. Also, the actual Sea Salt Tortilla Chip is too small for my tastes.

I’d much rather have fewer chips of a larger size – would seem like having restaurant-style chips. Just my opinion. I will not purchase these again, but will continue to purchase the Nacho Tortilla Chips.

I’ll stick with the Private Selection Taqueria Corn Chips, which are 14 chips for only 2 more points per serving (4 points – green plan).

I bought a box of these from a local workshop, and I just had a few tips from the first bag. They are awful, stale. I double checked the expiration date, and according to the date these are supposed to be good.

But I’m throwing the whole box away. I think this is the last time I try to buy any food product from WW. It’s much too expensive to be throwing it away. :(.

I had to laugh when I saw that natura market sells them. When my husband and I were travelling in the States we were absolutely OBSESSED with these BBQ chips (we live in Canada), so I jumped at purchasing these! In both of our opinions, they’re the best tasting BBQ chips we’ve found that contain CLEAN ingredients.

Most contain canola/vegetable oil and other inflammatory fillers. We both have GI issues so these chips are a godsend. Highly recommend! I wish the companies’ other chips were also made only from avocado oil or olive oil because we would buy them also!.

Good Health Avocado Oil Potato Chips taste similar to kettle chips but are less salted, more bland and taste more oily. I got them for my wife who can’t eat regular chips. She thinks they aren’t great either.

She always seasons them with garlic powder and white cheddar popcorn seasoning to make them taste like sour cream and onion chips before eating them. These are more expensive than regular brands and mediocre but don’t make my wife have an allergic reaction, so we will buy them again.

Found these to be quite greasy. As I was eating my hand was covered in grease and small pieces of chips stuck to my hand. Could see the oil as soon as i opened the bag over the chips. Did not taste the avocado flavor.

Wonder what the chips are really cooked it? Since i reacted as if they were cooked in Canola Oil. Have tried to reach out to the company Good Health with my question. They have not answered me.

I recently switched to healthier food choices in an attempt to cut out sugar, excess sodium, and fat from my diet. I searched “keto snacks” while creating a grocery delivery order with Walmart, and these came up.

Pros: these chips contain lots of protein (19 grams protein/4 grams of carbs); they are really tasty, just as yummy as a “regular” taco chip, with a nice mild tomato-ey with spices taco flavor; they have good ingredients; you feel full after eating a small amount; they’re healthier than regular taco chips with very low fat and no sugar.

Cons: bag is very small; they are expensive; they are fairly high in sodium (15%); chips are super delicate and fragile, and crumble very easily. It’s so frustrating that it costs so much more to purchase more healthy food than it is to buy super-processed, fatty, sugary foods.

For the price of this small bag, you could probably get a fairly large sized bag of the name brand nacho/taco chips. However, after eating half of this small bag, I felt that my snack cravings were fully satisfied.

Were this a bag of regular brand taco chips, I would still be plowing through a big bag of them, and consuming more fat and sugar and salt than I should be. Conclusion: these are expensive, but worth it.

If you could keep them from crumbling, they would be an excellent quick snack at work on the go, as they contain so much protein. After eating regular taco chips I get sort of a salt/fat/sugar “hangover”- just that over-full icky feeling.

That doesn’t happen with these chips. So overall, I do recommend these to satisfy a D—-os craving without the fat, excess sodium, and sugar. Left off one star due to being expensive.

I had tried one of the quest protein bars and been extremely disappointed by it in so many ways, so going into this I was a little skeptical. I have never been more happy to eat my words. The flavor is amazing! I’ve never been a huge fan of the original nacho cheese Doritos, but somehow I prefer these way more.

I’m someone who prefers a lighter/less dense chip that almost melts in the mouth, so the light crispness of this is perfect for me. The cheese dust flavor is just right, and there’s no weird protein taste or aftertaste.

I could probably go through 2 or 3 bags of this in one sitting and not worry about it because of how high protein they are for a bag of chips. And they’re still around the same calories of a normal bag of chips, so it’s a win-win.

But the biggest thing is that I felt satisfied after I ate just one bag. As someone who struggles with cravings and binge eating, an alternative like this is such a blessing. It’s worth the extra dollars.

So one of the hardest parts about going Gluten Free and Low Carb was giving up my chips. I tried a lot of replacements over the past 5 years and some got close to cutting it, but were never quite right.

I decided to try Quest chips on a whim and WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING THIS WHOLE TIME? These are delicious and immediately squash the craving, not to mention the high protein content is a huge plus and curbs any hunger I may have! I haven’t tried a flavor that I do not like but in the end, the Ranch are my usual go-to, followed closely by Chili Lime and Loaded Taco.

The only thing “negative” I can think of to say would be that these are not as strong as regular tortilla chips. They are not scoopable in dips but I can just stick them straight down and get the flavor of the dip that way.

Honestly doesn’t bother me at all just trying to give a well-rounded review. Give them a shot if you’re considering, Ranch is a more chill/casual flavor but the others pack an awesome punch!.

Honestly Quest stepped up their game quite a bit on this one. I’ve tried all the flavors and they’re pretty consistent across the board however cheddar and ranch are my favorites for now. It has more of a cracker texture than chip at least on the cheddar flavor.

The nutrition though is amazing. For the entire bag you can get a whopping amount of protein and minimal calorie intake. I recommend for sure.

I was one that was very disappointed when Quest had discontinued the chips last year. I mean really sad. Now very happy to say they are back and just as good as ever. As soon as I got the email they were making them again I placed my order.

If you miss chips in your diet these will be a plus. Taste just like a baked chip and great quality. My favorite is the BBQ but love them all.

I have wanted a protein sour cream or cheddar and sour cream chip for a while. This is a good alternative to a regular chip. It is not my favorite of the Quest chips. I think it needs more onion and cheddar flavor, but it is better than the sour cream and onion, which was definitely lacking the onion flavor I hoped for.

These are interesting. Not bad but not great, at least to me. They do not taste like Nacho. If this had been a blind taste test, I would have thought I was eating Barbeque chips. The first thought I had was “Beanitos” – they reminded me of those chips but I liked these a tad better.

The crunch and “airiness” of the chips is nice I enjoyed the texture and crispness. I just don’t care much for the flavor. 3-4 of the crisps were HARD, not airy and crispy. I managed to chew them to some degree but they were barely edible and most people would have spit them out instead of trying to chew through what I did!.

I LOVE these, whenever I want to snack on something crunchy, I always go for these. The consistency of these is that of pork rinds, but a bit lighter. Nacho is my favorite flavor of them all.

These are a great snack when you want something crunchy and healthy. Delicious with hummus. I wouldn’t say it’s the best thing I’ve eaten but you can eat the whole bag with no guilt

These are one of the very best, tastiest brands of organic blue corn tortilla chips there is. I don’t know what they did to them, but in the last couple of months the bags have a claim that they taste even better, and they do! They are actually more flavorful and enjoyable even than before.

We love them at lunch, eaten with sardines in olive oil. Yum! I mix a heaping teaspoon each of non-gmo lecithin granules and nutritional yeast into the sardines, mash them up, and eat with the blue corn chips.

“Now even tastier “ appears on the Red Hot Blues. Ha! What a joke! My family loved the original ones because the seasoning was so flavorful and spicy, so we were sorely disappointed upon tasting this “improved” product.

These chips only have a fraction of the seasoning of the originals so what you taste is the strong blue corn flavor. I found them unpleasant. I plan on not buying these again.

I have bought this brand from two different grocery stores for years then I found that Walmart offered them. They have never been chewy or stale from the grocery store or Walmart until this last order.

I thought maybe the product was changed by manufacturer making them chewy until I saw these reviews. Will order again but if product is stale or chewy next time, Walmart needs to get another supplier.

I never order these with anything that might crush them so did not have that problem.

I’ve been enjoying the avocado oil chips for about two years now. They are light and fluffy and have low sodium. I’m able to have half the serving size, i. e. , only 10 chips a day for only half the calories at only 80 and half the sea salt sodium (the best kind there is) which is 37-1/2mg, plus 1/2 gram of fiber and 1 gram protein with only 4-1/2 grams of fat.

Very decent. I don’t gain weight on them or overeat, they are so satisfying! I only wish all stores would carry the brand or the flavor! It’s quite a challenge trying to find them so I purchase in bulk here (less expensive too!) and then have a bag to bring to the staff at my fav local restaurant which just reopened indoor dining in NYC! If you’re looking for healthier version of potato chips and one you know is vegan, kosher, gluten free. Try these! I use them for my salsa and they’re so good. They have a soft crunch to them, isn’t crumbly but is easy on the teeth.

The chips do taste different from your plain potato chips but to be completely honest, they have a bit of a French fry taste to them. So it is still similar in taste but with your subtle plant based differences.

I LOVE these. IF you prefer the sweet bbq type crisp, then you might not care for these. There’s really no sweet underlying flavour to them. They ARE decidedly smoky! The great thing about what this company offers is that NONE of their chips fall apart and make a mess easily as SO many others do.

The ingredients are so simple its amazing, theyre all things that you know of and probably have in your house. Not greasy whatsoever, but still super crispy and they satisfy a craving for a light, crunchy snack.

However, the texture turns a little chalky once chewed. They also dont taste salty at all, or have any seasonings. Im not crazy about the taste, but they do get better over time. I think i would prefer them much more with some sort of dip.

That being said, theyre more filling than conventional chips, and much easier on my stomache. I dont feel greasy or heavy after eating these.

I make home-made nachos out of these! Regular tortilla chips are way over-seasoned. These are more subtle, letting whatever you top it or dip it in shine. Every ingredient is something you know of and can pronounce.

I was excited to try this because it was marketed as “grain free. ” I eat pretty healthily so my taste buds aren’t super picky. I couldn’t finish the bag. I tried a few and finally decided to throw them away.

These chips are not crispy; they’re chewy and not in a good way. They’re also salty but without flavor. I wasn’t expecting Tostitos but these were definitely not as advertised.

So so tasty. First time trying the Way Better tortilla chips in “Avocado ranch” flavour and they did not disappoint. They’re also gluten free and made from corn, so that’s a huge plus. Tons of flavour packed into each bite.

They’re also not terrible for you calorically.

I’ve purchased these chips in the store before and liked them. Although not organic, they are sprouted and healthier than your typical chip. Crunchy, salty flavor; just what you want in a chip. HOWEVER.

this last bag I purchased through Vitacost was horrible. The moment I opened the bag, there was an over-powering chemical smell – similar to paint/paint thinner. the chips smelled the same way. Since the company (WayBetterSnacks) do not have a customer service phone#, I sent them an email through their website.

No response. After a week, I sent another email. No response. So now it’s been almost two weeks. Unacceptable from a fairly young company; and I will not purchase again since the company ignored what could be a health issue.

These chips are literally a mixed bag. I love the sweet potato chips, even though they sometimes seem a little soft and a little too oily. In fact, that is how I feel about most of the vegetables in these chips.

There is one that I don’t really care for though, I think it is the yucca. It is the one that is white with black speckles. It is a pretty chip, but it seems too hard. The overall effect of these in a bowl is quite pretty and it’s definitely fun to have a change from regular old potato.

These chips are SOOOO good! I was very skeptical about trying them because I don’t normally eat “healthy” versions of chips! I really didn’t think I would like the Blues mainly because of the purple color.

These crinkled sweet potato chips are almost as good as Jackson’s Honest Sweet Potato Chips – but I’d choose Jackson’s if buying some again. Although, if you really want crinkles (or want to avoid the coconut oil in Jackson’s) then these may be your chip! The sweet potato flavor is there (but not very strong) and they are crunchy and salted to a good level without being high in sodium (4% RDA).

A serving (28 chips) provides 5% of your RDA for vitamin A and 11% of your fiber. But I do wonder why these chips only 5% of your vitamin A RDA when Jackson’s chips provide 90% – sweet potatoes are very high in vitamin A, so these chips should be too! Sweet potatoes are really good for you, with anti-inflammatory benefits, and also control of blood sugar.

I like that they are made with expeller-pressed oil – conventional oil is heated during extraction and then of course heated again during cooking, generating a lot of free radicals. Besides the regular score, I’m giving them 4/5 green stars for social and environmental impact (more on that below).

I picked up a bag of these just to try them out. We usually go the cheap route with the OTB brand but decided to splurge and try these. They are fantastic! It’s a thicker chip, has a great corn taste, a slight amount of oil, and the perfect amount of salt.

They are perfect for eating by themselves or with salsa. We liked these so much that we bought three more bags before they are no longer stocked.

I grabbed a bag of these from Sams club in Tucson. Looked like they were being closed out. Best chips i’ve ever eaten. Now i have to figure out how to find them in Colorado. Sams club should stock these.

It would be one of those items I’d specifically make a trip to Sams just to restock.

Love these protein crisps. Have tried the barbecue and the thai sweet chilli flavours – barbecue is by far the better option. They might as well have called it ‘thai sweet garlic’ because that’s all you’ll be tasting for 3-5 business days.

Don’t get me wrong they’re still nice, but so much garlic that it’s near impossible to get rid of. Texture is good, super crunchy, they’re like those Squares crisps (but round). Got one in a packet that was puffy like pop crisps and it was way better, try to do them all like that! Overall, a great snack, good size packet and tastes good with no protein flavour and good macros.

Goes Well With: On their own or after lunch. Bet they taste good smashed up and crumbled on top of a macaroni cheese (bbq flavour only).

This company is outstanding! I’ve been using their stuff for a few years now, and the difference in my body and health with the help of their products is unbelievable! All the flavours I have tried are 1O/1O in taste and effectiveness, their tablets are amazing if you don’t get the correct intake in certain nutrients too! you’ll see results within the first few weeks of using this! Was quite disappointed when I saw crisps and drink in my vegan snack box. I wanted chocolate stuff. First thing I tried! Just the right amount in packet as there would never be too many crisps in a packet as they are my achilles heel.

Quite tasty. Texture and crispness fine. Will probably end up buying these again which is disappointing as I wanted to dislike them! Think for a vegan 11g is a good serving. Goes Well With: Wine!.
