A car jack is a tool that is used to lift a car up off the ground. This is typically done in order to change a tire, or to perform some other type of maintenance on the car. Many people keep a car jack in their home garage, in case they need to use it.
When you’re raising up something heavy you want to know you’re using the best equipment available. The Pro-Lift 2-ton Low Profile Floor Jack is made entirely of heavy-duty steel for long-lasting durability and features swiveling casters at its base so you can easily maneuver the hydraulic jack to that perfect position.
Capable of lifting up to 4400 lbs. , this jack also features a patented bypass device that protects against overpumping and a built-in safety valve so you can always operate the lift safely. This ANSIPALD approved jack’s lifting range measures 3.
I’m a poor, do-it-at-home-yourselfer and so needed a floor jack that wouldn’t put too big of a dent in my already thin wallet, but wouldn’t fall on me either the first time I put it under a load. Combine the reviews I read here & elsewhere as well, the F-767 looked like it would fit the bill, and you know what? It did.
I used it to change the brakes on my wife’s small SUV yesterday & it worked great. While I of course had jack stands under the car as well, “just in case” they weren’t needed as the jack never lost pressure.
Keep in mind that the F-767 is SMALL. Not much bigger than your old scissor jack, but it’s a whole heck of a lot better. So much in fact, that I’m gonna leave it in my wife’s SUV should she ever have a flat.
I can’t vouch how well it would hold up under constant use, but after using it once, it’s basically paid for itself in what it would have cost me to take her SUV in to replace the front pads & rotors.
So as far as I care, I’m already out ahead. You just can’t beat it for $50.
The low profile floor jack fit my purpose for use with a 1998 Chevrolet Corvette. With the vehicle having a low ground clearance and my standard jack would not work. The jack fit under the vehicle with no issue and lifted the vehicle with ease.
My son needed a low profile jack for working on low & lowered vehicles. So for his 21st birthday, I bought him this. It’s sturdy, gets the job done & no one could beat TSC’s price. Thank you TSC from a long-time customer!.
Pro-Lift Professional Grade 3-1/2 Ton Speedy Lift Garage Jack – G-737 Rubber saddle pad protects the vehicle while working with the jack. Universal joint release mechanism provides precision control of load descent in any handle position.
Magnetic tool tray keeps the small parts around the job site for convenience. Speed Lift with just one stroke; lets you immediately lift to your desired load height, saving you time and energy. Rolled side frame adds strength to reduce twisting.
Rear swivel casters provide easy jack positioning. By-pass device prevents over pumping. Meets or exceed ANSI/PALD standards.
I used it once before noticing that the package of the floor jack had oil stains on it. I put the jack on a piece of cardboard overnight and it was also stained with oil the next day. Returned it for a refund.
It performed well when I used it the one time, but didn’t wanted to deal with a leaking floor jack. I used the car on my subaru outback and it was able to lift the car high enough on the central floor points, so that I was able to put jack stands on both sides.
This rugged Torin Trolley Jack is strong and versatile for use with multiple vehicles, and comes with a plastic blow mold case for easy storage. The jack is small in size, but big in performance. The jack’s protective paint is resistant to oil, grease and dirt, while its steel frame provides maximum durability and strength when lifting large loads.
The trolley jack features a 360 rotating saddle, positive locking safety release handle, and rear swivel casters for easy maneuvering and positioning. The integrated overload protection valve prevents you from lifting items weighing more than the jack’s capacity, protecting the jack for longer life.
The unit creeps down slowly after elevated if you do not close the pressure relief valve with a wrench. The provided pump handle does not provide enough force by itself using your hands. Perhaps pump handle could have a removable cross piece (bar) to provide additional leverage for tightening the pressure relief valve.
For the price this is a good deal. The 2. 5 ton Torin Floor Jack will lift most all standard size cars, trucks, and SUV’s It has a minimum lifting height of 5-5/16 inches and a maximum lifting height of 14-15/16 inches.
It weighs a total of 28. 4 pounds for easy maneuverability. Includes a handy plastic blow mold carrying case for easy storage when not in use. My only issue with this jack is when you are ready to lower your vehicle it takes some getting used to.
If your not careful the vehicle will come down to fast. Other than that this is overall a very good product.
This jack appears to be very well built, and can’t be beat for the price. I looked around a lot, and most floor jacks have pretty average or worse ratings, even the expensive ones. I used it to rotate the tires on a 2012 Santa Fe (~4000-lbs) and was able to easily lift half the vehicle at once (which is well within the jack’s load range).
It is bigger and heavier than I expected, which is a good thing. I have used a 2 ton Mack for years but it finally cratered. This one blows my old one away. Yes, this is a budget jack, so you are probably not going to be using it on the race track.
If that is what you are looking for, you probably are not going to be satisfied. This one is perfect for changing tires and occasional mechanic work. I just purchased this today, so I am hesitant to give it 5 stars without knowing how long it will ladt.
It did come with a case which is a plus, but I am not sure I will find it that useful. (better than having to throw away a cardboard box I guess). <><.
Compared to another entry level jack, this one wins. The handle can be assembled and inserted with no tools, the other one needed a wrench. It is much easier to pull around, and can lift twice as fast with its dual pistons.
The handle uses a square drive, whereas the other one used cogs that eventually misaligned, and needed a washer to remedy.
Very high quality aluminum jack. Superior to others at the same price. (1) it’s almost entirely aluminum. The only ferrous steel parts I could find were: hydraulic pump and lateral lift bar, the hoods of the small rear casters, rubber padded jack plate, hardware.
Other “Aluminum” jacks have more steel parts (like the lifting arms) and weight at least 10lbs more. (2) front casters seem to be high quality. They roll very smoothly with close tolerances. (3) overall fit and finish were very good.
No raw/sharp edges, nice paint, properly lubed and ready to use. I also bought a HF “Aluminum” 2-ton at the same time and side-by-side it was very clear the JEGS jack is a better made, higher quality tool.
I have three of these jacks mostly because I really like it. They are light but strong and raise the vehicle high. We did have one of the jacks break a pump piston and apparently that is not a part sold separately.
We are using that jack for parts or will make the broken part. I bought the third jack to replace the broken one because I like it so much. I wish we could buy that one bad part though.
Get rid of your floor jacks, transmission jacks and ATV jacks. The 2 Ton Triple Lift jack is three jacks in one! This innovative jack has a patented design that lets you lift cars, trucks, motorcycles or ATVs with ease.
The Triple Lift slashes the expense and hassle of purchasing, maintaining and storing multiple jacks and jackstands. It’s the one jack that easily lifts almost anything with wheels, and works on vehicle transmissions and differentials too.
The secret to the Triple Lift is the patented design that features both a removable lift saddle and padded lift rails. This flexible design allows the Triple Lift to adapt to multiple types of vehicle frames.
A locking safety bar holds the jack in place once the vehicle is raised, which eliminates the hassle of supporting a lifted vehicle with jack stands. Built-in tie-down loops make it easy to secure motorcycles in place for added stability.
You can also use the Triple Lift to safely lift Unibody vehicles. The precision locking design keeps the jack from lowering once it has been raised, eliminating the need for a separate jack stand.
Perfect for me. I was looking for a heavy duty jack to get my bike in the air (800+lb cruiser) and even cleared my car for an oil change. It has a safety bar that keeps the jack from coming down on you.
I was considering the HF lifts, but this one checked more boxes for me and looks well made.
I am a female that owns a Kawasaki Ninja zx6r. I do all the work on my own truck and bike. This motorcycle jack works great for assisting me in being able to work on my bike without any assistance. There is nothing worse than wanting to start working on a project and having to stop to get someone bigger and stronger to help you.
This jack allows me to lift the bike up, and access everything I need to get access to. I can also easily maneuver the motorcycle down, which is just as important. This jack has allowed me to accomplish a bunch more projects and customization work that I never would have been to do without being able to maneuver around the motorcycle fully.
The manufacturing of the jack itself is really stable, and strong feeling. It feels like it is really well made and sturdy. I like that I can feel confident working on my motorcycle while it holds it up, I don’t feel like I have to worry about it releasing and my bike falling.
I bought this jack a few weeks ago as we were working with other standard jacks and jack stands to lift a 750 pound Quad to repair the transmission. the way we were tring to lift the quad was very unsteady and I felt unsafe.
I purchased this jack and it was like night and day and it made the lifting and working on the quad much safer and was very steady. We did use a strap as suggested that made it even better. If you work on your own equipment as we do this is a must have.
I have used other ATV/garden Tractor jacks and this one is much better and well made. Glad I found it!.
Torin 2 ton hydraulic trolley jack in plastic case offers a safety overload system to prevent use beyond the rated capacity. With a rotating heavy duty saddle this jack also offers a rotating 360 degree handle for use at any angle.
The patented design also offers 360 degree swivel casters and comes with a plastic case for easy storage.
I only used this jack 4 times to install a spare and it is kept exclusively in my wife’s vehicle before it failed to lift a load. This jack also has only been used in ideal conditions i. e. on pavement.
Do NOT buy this floor jack under any circumstances. It will fail you and leave you stranded!!!! I don’t care what kind of warranty is available at additional cost it should have lasted longer by usage than this! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!.
It’s a solid quality jack, but it has limitations. I have 2 subarus & a mazda6. For the mazda, it’s good for getting to the oil pan on a creeper and more than sufficient for getting a side lifted for brake work.
However on Subaru’s with a little more height, it doesn’t lift enough on the front center jack point to let me get my creeper under to do anything. So, I slide around on my back on the garage floor like a savage.
From the sides on the subarus, it’ll barely get the wheels off the ground. So, it works fine and feels sturdy, but it’s not going to work well for more than tire changes on some vehicles. Just check out the specs and compare.
The positives are the jack works and I never had an instance where the car fell. The negatives are that the short handle means low leverage and high effort to get the car in the air. Mine failed after about 20 uses and I replaced it with auch higher quality jack and am glad I did.
If you need a jack for a job or two, this will get the job done at a low price. If you anticipate using your jack several times per year, I would buy higher quality.
This Torin Jack 20T Bottle Jack has a 20 ton capacity and can lift almost anything that you have in your garage, including cars, machines and other heavy objects. Additionally, for added height, it can use an extension screw that boosts the platform.
The 20 ton jack comes with an automatic by-pass valve that prevents overloading for safety. If you happen to place too much weight on the device, it will automatically shut down and stop you from attempting to raise the weight.
For convenience, the heavy-duty jack has a 360-degree rotating handle that allows you to access it from difficult angles and hard to reach places. The outside of the machine uses a powder-coated finish that provides durability for heavy use and protects against nicks and scratches.
Overall, the forged steel saddle and cast iron base offer superior materials for safety and longevity.
Sometimes you just need a little Jack, this jack is rated at 1 to 2 tons and is nice and compact. The action is smooth much better than other small jacks I’ve used over the years. Sometimes you just need a small jack on smaller cars are for other projects what do you need a little extra lifting effort and would be good for lawn tractors.
The piston is 6 inches long fully extend it and you get another inch and a half by unscrewing the extension on the top which has a nice knurled finish for support. The base seems a little small for the length of the wall extend the base is 3 inches square with good solid steel.
The handle could be improved seems a bit sloppy and poorly made. When releasing the pressure for the jack to come down it’s a nice smooth motion and the valve to turn moves freely and smoothly in both directions.
Floor service jack specially made for SUV. Constructed of high-grade steel and built to exacting standards for quality and durability. Large saddle surface area provides better contact with the load being supported.
Positive locking safety release handle for exceptional safety during use. Integrated overload protection valve prevents the lifting of items in excess of capacity. Dimensions of 26” x 11” x 8” (66cm x 28cm x 20.
Love the jack, as it easily lifts my sedan with hardly any effort required. Doesn’t come with the oil for it or whatever it’s called. But I haven’t needed it yet, I just make sure to always release the air out of it before I use it.
My only gripe with the product is that I don’t believe this is 45 pounds. I have plenty of things and a 50 pound weight, this jack feels heavier than all of them. Probably more like 70-100 pounds. The poor guy delivering it was kinda struggling haha.
I’ve read the other reviews and can sympathize. But my jack and experiences were much better. I bought AutoZone’s Duralast 3 ton “garage” (floor) jack 7 – 10 years ago and used it occasionally (6 – 12 times per year) to lift medium-sized vehicles like our family van and commute car.
During that time, it required hydraulic fluid top-off twice when lift height per pump tapered. The second time I added fluid, while hurrying to fit a two hour project into 1/2 hour, I managed to open and add fluid to the wrong port.
This is humiliating to admit since the check-valve screw I removed to do this was clearly marked with a special red cap with the warning “Do Not Adjust”. This, predictably, shot the mechanisms that block the coordination of hydro flows until it could be opened and repaired.
I wasn’t able to find a manual or diagram online to work from, so called our local AutoZone to request one, and admitted my ignorant move to the store manager in the process. To my surprise, and on what I know to be one of their busiest times of the week there, I was told to bring it by to “swap it out for a new one”.
I reminded him that I had no receipt, had used it for several years, and had ruined it through pure impatience, stupidity, and 50 year old eyes w/out reading glasses, but he insisted that I come get a new one.
This jack had cost a shade over $100 years ago, but it supported my work sufficiently and I’m flat amazed that they backed this product to the extent they did. I haven’t always been thrilled w/ AutoZone (insufficient understanding of auto concepts among service reps at times), but the purchase of this house-brand floor jack has served me very well.
* One star deducted for having to add hydraulic fluid. If you get one, don’t worry. The correct top-off location is a no-brainer, I’m sorry to say *.
This is working great for my side by side maintenance, the extension allows me to get the RZR up without any blocks to where the suspension is fully extended and the tires are a few inches off the ground.
The handle storage is a little substandard by only having the single ring that you can see in the picture and no place for the other end but I am happy with the jack function and operation.
Case Iron Lift Arm and Pump Base for Durability and Strength Hein-Werner Hw93652 Hydraulic Service Jack is a 3 Ton service jack assembled in Usa. It features cast iron lift arm and pump base to increase the strength.
With flanged side plates and the wider frame, it provides the stability and strength under a load. Hein-Werner Hw93652 Service Jack features in – line pump assembly to assure long life and no off – center forces for ease in pumping, aligning and reduce wear.
At the same time, Hein-Werner Hw93652 features U-Joint release mechanism for precise load control. With one piece handle, it eliminates bending, and making the lifting process with the ease.
Purchased becasue it was US made and was willing to pay more to get a US made jack. The frame and wheels are excellent quality. That’s where the good news ends. Most jacks at half the price have dual pump pistons.
This unit only has one and it shows. No rapid raising of the jack. Each handle pump moves the lift plate about a quarter inch. It takes forever just to get the jack high enough to touch whatever it is you’re lifting.
To make things worse, the piston only works in the first 25% or so of the handle stroke. In other words, you’re pumping the handle in very short 3″ – 4″ strokes (see video). The handle roller doesn’t even touch the piston until that low.
You about have to lay on the ground to use the jack. There’s also no such thing as slowly lowering a raised load. Pretty much on or off so whatever you lifted is coming down fast. Called the company and they said all of this was “normal” for this jack.
So also contacted a local service center and they said the same thing. Sad to say that you should spend your money elsewhere if performance is what you want. The summary is that the jack is well built and would likely last forever, but the performance is so bad we never use it.
This is a beast of a jack, i bought this for my dad ( old school mechanic) and he loves it. His last one ( same jack ) lasted 30 years and he used it a lot. Im very happy with this jack. it is soooo not harbor fake.
I like the fact that when you go to let it down under load you can turn the handle a tiny bit and it will slowly go down. not like harbor fake jacks. you go to let them down and as soon as you hit a certain spot, boom, the car is falling at a break neck speed.
it was a little expensive for my taste, but hey, you get what you pay for.
These jacks were built like tanks back in the day and lasted for years. I spent $400 to buy a quality jack like this instead of $130 at Harbor Freight. Although I basically use this for simple maintenance on my personal vehicle, the rear casters have failed me twice.
You can get the casters online for $40 each at the right website. I’ll probably just save my money and consider buying another jack instead of dumping more money into this jack replacing it with another “junk” caster.
Performance Tool W1640 2. 5-Ton Hydraulic Garage Jack with 5,000 lb load capacity and 5 inch to 15-1/2 inch lift range Durable flanged steel frame construction with durable handle for ease of carrying and high quality swivel casters for easy positioning beneath vehicles and heavy machineries.
Great for service maintenance of cars and light duty trucks.
Very nice lift. Well built and worked perfect right out of the box. Took about ten minutes to do the “assembly”. two nuts, two bolts and a pin and screw in the two bolts used to stabilize the system to the floor when in use.
Came with straps as well. The bike, FXLR is lifted easily and it very stable lifted. By the way, the original box was also packed in an additional cardboard covering by the folks at Summit prior to shipping so there was no damage to the original package in shipping.
It looks to me many of the low cost floor jacks from $50_$0. 00 dollars are made by the same manufacturer. This little jack has a lift pad that is 1-7/8″ outside measurement. I doubt you can find a lift pad that small.
The lift limit is 15″ measured from the floor. I’d wager a less expensive jack with the same lift capacity would work just as well. (think Goodyear, NAPA, Pittsburgh, Harbor Freight etc). Why spend more than you need to? I’d also wonder if a hydraulic ‘bottle jack’ with the same capacities as this jack might be a better investment.
A user is going to have to bend a knee while using this floor jack and/or a bottle jack.
Came with the pipe hole bent so the pipe wouldn’t fit. I had to spend 30 minutes finding a way to bend the hole so the pipe would fit. Great build for sure since it took me forever to bend it back. No idea how it was bent in the first place.
It didn’t go up high enough for me to even take off my wheel (09 Cadillac CTS). I just went back to the back that came with the car. No idea what the point of the product is. Very disappointed.
The Husky 3-Ton Low Profile Floor Jack with Quick Contact has a dual-pump design for a quick and hassle-free lift whenever you need it. This 3 Ton Low Profile Floor Jack can quickly lift up to 6,000 lbs with a minimum height of 3-1/8 in.
to a maximum height of 19-3/4 in. Rear swivel caster wheels on the Husky 3 Ton Low Profile Floor Jack offer easy positioning under cars, trucks, and SUVs. The 3 Ton Low Profile Floor Jack with Speedy lift consists of a plunger, plunger cavity, hydraulic oil reservoir, cylinder, and ram.
An upward stoke of the jack handle draws oil from the reservoir into the plunger caity and a downward stroke forces oil into the cylinder, pushing out the ram and raising the saddle. This car jack is the perfect car accessory to add to your Husky automotive and tool collection.
I have a 180 gallon fisg tank, filtered by a 45 g sump, the marketed items thru pet stores and on line aquaria supplyiers are anemic at best. To vac that tank properly with a python hose vac is marginal at best, 25 feet awau most ofbthe faucets 60 psi is mute over the distance, ond dumping 50 gallons ow water down the drain while siphoning 50 g, then pumpind another 50 g back can be costly! I used it Saturday for the first time, it has great suction and makes short work of cleaning a nasty bottom.
There are 3 fish 12-14″ long another 3 are 8-10″ long. Alot of waste! Wgatever your purpose, you will be satisfied!.
I used this pump as an emergency to pump my septic tank water into my drain field. Last time I had my septic emptied out it cost me around 600 dollar. I had to suck all the water out of to get to my submersible Septic pump.
It pumped around 800 gallons from a depth of 6 feet. The out let house I used was 120 feet long. It was 100 degrees F and this pump worked like a champ! Works fine even sucking up dirty water. 2 thumbs up!!.
I bought this to pump water from a lake up to a tank on the second floor of my camp. Horizontal distance of about 150 feet. I had to prime the hose from the lake to the pump, but the pump did the job with no problem.
I ran the pump off a generator. I had previously used a similar 12 volt pump for the same job. It also worked well.
The Husky 2-1/2-Ton Low Profile Floor Jack with Quick Contact has a dual-pump design for a quick and hassle-free lift whenever you need it. This 2. 5 Ton Low Profile Floor Jack can quickly lift up to 5,000 lbs with a minimum height of 3-3/8 in.
to a maximum height of 14-3/8 in. Rear swivel caster wheels on the Husky 2-1/2 Ton Low Profile Floor Jack offer easy positioning under cars, trucks, and SUVs. The 2-1/2 Ton Low Profile Floor Jack with Speedy lift consists of a plunger, plunger cavity, hydraulic oil reservoir, cylinder, and ram.
An upward stoke of the jack handle draws oil from the reservoir into the plunger caity and a downward stroke forces oil into the cylinder, pushing out the ram and raising the saddle.
Bought this jack since it was cheaper than any other low profile jack I could find. Used only once and had to return. Not sturdy at all – only 3 wheels made contact with the ground, which made it incredibly wobbly.
Also, it started leaking oil. Save your money and buy a higher end jack.
Brought one, worked wonderfully under no load, wouldn’t lift my snowblower. Return it to the store, for an exchange—same with the new one. Useless. Would give it zero stars if possible. No problems with exchanging it or returning the jack.
Low profile, all steel, HD design. It is NOT a quick pump type, but then again, I have no need for that. I mean really, what is a few extra pumps? Very sturdy when used correctly. For the money, can’t beat it.
This lightweight 2 ton trolley jack lifts up to 4000 lb. and is built with durable formed and welded steel. Smooth-rolling casters and an easy carry handle help you position this compact floor jack under vehicle lift points.
The compact trolley jack is small enough to keep in the trunk for quick roadside repair.
So far, this trolley jack has exceeded my expectations, especially at this price point. It easily lifts my 2,700 lb. car. Though it takes a few more pumps than the much higher-priced jacks, it works very well.
I have not tried it on my other, 3,200 lb. car, but I expect it to work just as well. The carrying handle is a nice feature, and the wheels, frame, and hardware seem to be much heavier duty than one normally finds in less expensive jacks.
My one complaint is that the pump handle is very loose in its socket, despite having turned it all the way to engage the locking peg. It is no big deal to hold it in place while I pump it up. I added a hard rubber jack pad to the 2-1/8 in.
dia. lifting saddle, as without it, the hard metal saddle does not have deep enough slots to prevent bending the car frame rails, where most vehicles have their factory-recommended lifting points. (This is an inexpensive addition, available online.
) At first, I was concerned that turning the release valve might cause a sudden pressure release, resulting in a hard landing (as some reviews have warned). Fortunately, I was able to turn the valve slowly enough release the pressure gradually.
The instructions mention ‘bleeding’ the air out of the cylinder if pumping is hard or ineffective, but I did not have to do that. Besides, the drain plug takes a hex or Torx wrench to remove (which I could not identify, as the the entire plug is sealed over with paint).
Also, if you do not have a ready supply of fluid, it is best just to leave it alone and hope it came with no air bubbles in the cylinder. I recommend this product.
I went to use this and it seemed not to work. I thought it must need oil in the reservoir. Don’t make the same mistake I did and disgustedly go buy hydraulic fluid to fill it. When I went to fill it – Surprise! – it was already full.
Used a small wrench, turned the set screw to close the pressure valve – worked like a charm after my silly start. Funny thing is the guy at the store (not HF) from which I bought the hydraulic fluid said “You wouldn’t believe how many people come in here because these things don’t come with fluid in them.
” There must be plenty of us silly folk out there. Word to the wise – It is ready to go out of the box. Hope this helps the next person.
Heavy-duty steel construction for massive main body frame. Extra long frame design coupled with lifting saddle with 360 degree swivel and lifting arm provides maximum stability and fail-safe overload protection.
Dual pumps enable quick lifting. Long handle and high quality swivel casters for fast and easy positioning. Extra wide wheels with heavy duty front axle for maximum strength. Great for service maintenance of cars and light duty trucks.
This top-grade product is expertly made in compliance with stringent industry standards to offer a fusion of a well-balanced design and high level of craftsmanship. Manufactured from industry-leading materials using up-to-date equipment, it ensures everlasting reliability and enduring value.
This product is distinguished by total quality assurance, unsurpassed by anybody else.
It doesn’t work the way I expected to. It almost feels like the hydraulic fluid is low. You have you pump alot of short pumps instead of less long pumps. If my husband hadn’t used it in desperation I would return.
I bought this jack after I had a flat and my standard truck jack would not fit under the jack points. It is really low profile at 3. 5″ but rises to 14″ and stores behind the seat. A little heavy at 40 pounds but it has a plastic case that makes handling and storing in your truck or garage easy.
The 360 degree rotation of the lifing handle is a nice feature. The aluminum racing jacks are lighter at 27 pounds but only lift 1-1/2 tons versus 2-1/2 tons for this jack and they cost a lot more. This jack is well built, easy to use, inexpensive and should serve you well in the truck or garage.
Performance Tool W1606: Floor Jack, Trolley, 2-ton Capacity, Steel, Yellow, 13. 00 in. Maximum Lift Height, Each – Need a lift? Performance Tool trolley floor jacks are great! With a 360 degree swivel steel lifting saddle, these steel trolley floor jacks can surely give you a hand in the garage.
Give your automotive maintenance a boost with Performance Tool trolley floor jacks.
This Big Red 3 ton Floor Service Jack has a safety overload system to prevent use beyond rated capacity. Comes with a two piece handle for easy transportation and storage. The wide stance value prevents the jack from overlad.
Only used twice Corolla 2008, point of full extension dropped a little. Followed directions before first use, oil level full. Safety release from over extending? Returning for examination / repair. Over all great floor jack build well for long term use, easy to move.
4 Star rating possible repair required, been 5 Star without concern full extension.
The Powerbuilt 3 Ton All-in-One UniJack is the world’s first and only portable jack designed to safely lift and hold both regular and unibody cars and trucks. All Unibody vehicles have factory-approved lifting points to prevent damage when jacking up the vehicle.
But with a conventional jack, it’s challenging to properly lift and hold a unibody vehicle, because once the vehicle is raised with a jack, there’s no space left to add a jackstand. This jack stand solves this problem with an ingenious design that both safely lifts and securely holds a Unibody vehicle using a single lift point.
The Unijack offers both concave and flat lifting surfaces to accommodate a wide variety of lift points. What’s more, it eliminates the cost and hassle of a floor jack, it’s easier to lift, move and store and costs a lot less too.
The 6,000-pound jack offers lift range from 11 to 21 inches, which makes it perfect for trucks, SUVs and vans. Stylish and affordable, Powerbuilt jackstands meet or exceed ASME and PALD standards.
I thought this was the neatest thing until I had to put it to real world use. Bought this thing 3 weeks ago, July 2020. We then took of on our trip from Oklahoma to Yellowstone, long ways from home on our way back we discovered one of our 1 month old tires was getting low.
No big deal we will use our new super duty awesome safety jack. Put the jack under the travel trailer (not attached to the tow vehicle) (weighing only 4500lbs) and it jacked up the trailer will absolutely no problems.
Once the tire was replaced with the spare I proceeded to let the jack down, this is were the problem is the jack does not go down all the way. Now my trailer was suspended with the tires about an inch off the ground and no way to lower it off the jack.
Had to call out road side assistance to put another tiny winy bottle jack to get out our new Super duty piece of junk jack. I am still heated yes, reading other reviews I see that this is common. Stay away from this product as it simply does not work.
As many people know, it is difficult to lift a unibody SUV such as a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The only authorized jack point in the front is the pinch weld. It is impossible to use a floor jack, then place a jackstand at the same location.
This all-in-one jack solves the problem I had no problem lifting the front of my Jeep with the pair of jacks. Even though the front end is very heavy, the jacks were stable. I had a quickjack, but could not trust it and returned it.
These were hundreds of dollars cheaper. I’m glad I found them.
I bought two of the 3 Ton unijacks for my little Jeep Wrangler. They worked fine at first. Used them maybe four times and kept them in storage. Of course warranty ran out and they both just quit working.
Trouble shooting they both had fluid, Suggested maybe bleeding them of air but piston will not even go up to perform bleed function.
The Torin T84007 4-Ton Low-Profile Garage Jack gets the job done. The low profile design of the garage jack allows for use in narrow or tight spaces. The weight capacity of the garage jack is four tons.
Weight capacity of garage jack: 4 tons Low profile design allows the garage jack to be used under small vehicles.
Ordered online and picked up in store. The first day I used it, it produced very loud squeaks. I had followed the manual to bleed the air before first use, and had tried lubricating all moving parts, but the squeak sound wouldn’t go away.
So I contacted Big Red and they determined the power unit was defective and gave me a new power unit. Although Big Red’s support is responsive and quick, but the fact that a new jack needs to replacing the power unit on the first day was not what I was looking for.
However, I kept this jack, because after replacing the power unit (by myself), it did work pretty great and no more squeaking sound. The power unit Big Red provided to me, on the box says it fits this 4 ton jack as well as another 3.
5 ton jack that Big Red makes, which confused me a little, but I guess not only the power unit matters, but the overall design and strength of the jack. I could have given it 5 stars had the power unit did not fail.
This could be the best jack on the market for this price point, for which you get a decent 4 ton jack compares to a 3 ton jack that other brands make at this price.
I bought this 4-ton jack from Ashland City, TN Tractor Supply store earlier this year and never used it until today when I found out it wasn’t working properly, wasn’t jacking up so was a defective one unfortunately.
All it took was one phone call to Tractor Supply in Ashland City and they told me to come to the store and they’re replace it with a new one which they did as soon as I got there. I’ve now used the jack and it works great.
Absolutely outstanding customer service and exactly why I love to purchase products from this store. Thank you again Ashland City Tractor Supply, 5 stars!!!.
I’ve been looking for an all around jack that i could use on our F-150, Expedition, Journey and Camery. This is low enough for a Camery and teachers high enough for a truck or SUV. It easily lifts a riding mower or quad.
It is heavy duty, good quality, easy to use, easy to roll around although it is heavy but that’s too be expected from a 4 ton jack. I was on ther fence about but after talking to someone who had one, i decided to purchase it and I’m glad i did.
There are many different types of car jacks available on the market, but for a home garage, the most important factor is safety. A car jack should be stable and have a wide base to prevent tipping. It should also have a large lifting capacity to accommodate different sizes of vehicles.
When choosing a car jack, be sure to read the manufacturer’s instructions carefully to ensure proper use.
