awful, terrible, pathetic colour on the camera – colour is all washed out and no setting adjustment brings it remotely close to true colour do not buy this phone!!! the colour quality of this phone is misleadingly advertised by Samsung; hopefully its just defective and not how its meant to be lets see if i can get a refund under CPA.

I bought and recieved the AO3S and it started freezing the minute I put play store games on it. The pictures are not great. It is big and hold alot of apps. But not to crazy about it.

I bought it it a month ago. Within 1 month the screen was blank but the phone was ringing. So disappointing. The phone was 17 days old.

This phone feels about right — nice screen, perfect size and decent camera. I’ve had S series and note series Samsung phones in the past but this time I wanted to give one of their A series a go and liked the clean lines of the A32.

AMOLED is important and so too regular updates but equally important is smooth operation and this is the one area where I think Samsung cheaped out a bit. The G80 is by no means a bad chip but it would have only cost Samsung a few dollars more to have used a Dimensity SOC and this phone would have been almost perfect for the money.

I am not devastated by the use of the G80 as it performs very well under most circumstances but with other manufactures using better silicon in cheaper phones I do wonder if this was a missed opportunity.

Regardless, I love the phone and have no regrets buying it. I bout the official Samsung S-View wallet case for it and it looks superb. There are some better value phones out there for the money but at the end of the day they are not Samsung and they certainly won’t be receiving the updates Samsung is promising for this device.

All in all I am happy.

I bought this phone a week ago and so far i am plesently surprised. I decided on purchasing it because of the price point, battery life, screen size, and fingerprint reader. Throughout the week i found that i only need to charge it every other day even though use Spotify to stream music or podcasts my entire 8 hour work day and during my commute.

The fingerprint scanner has proven reliable, if your having trouble with it i recommend adding your preferred fingerprint 2 or 3 times and ensure your finger is clean. The performance is way better than what i expected at the price i payed.

Its faster than the a21 i had previously. Dont expect to run 14 apps at once though. I also dont play games on it because thats not my thing. Movies come out crystal clear and play smooth with good sound quality.

Calls come in clear and with the volume all the way up it has hurt my ear at times. Not a bad thing because some people talk super quiet. Ive had no one ask me to repeat myself. Connection seems strong unless im in a rural area where no phone has service.

Internal storage is smaller than i would like but a sd card helps upgrade the phone. The camera takes a decent picture and it has most of the modern features. I will continue to use it everyday and promise to update this review if anything changes.

Before you buy just remember its a 79. 99 dollar phone. If your expecting s22 ultra super features you will be disappointed. Also Its 4g and ive never used 5g so cant compare. plenty fast for me.

As a long time Samsung mobile user, I have very disappointed with this once. The fingerprint scanner is next to useless for starters which makes answering calls a pain let alone accessing the phone for anything else.

The camera is unimpressive and I don’t get the same quality of pics I was getting on my Note 5+ or my S8+ even those models are so old. I didslike that when I try to MOVE pictures from the Gallery into a folder, they remain in the Gallery and the folder.

I was given support on a work around but that didn’t work at all so appears to be a defect. I used the supplied weather app widget to load up a couple of different world wide locations to get time and weather but on the old phones, I was able to carousel the view between those locations via the widget without my having to open the app, go to the menu and select which other location I wished to view.

Grrrrrrrr. I don’t get any light flash notifications to indicate I have messages waiting. All in all, a very disappointing phone – it does the basics but that’s all. I will be changing to another brand going forward.

Holy Shxt, this is the best phone I’ve ever owned. I dropped my phone near Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco around 6:30 at night, and hadn’t realized until I was already 30 min away. My girlfriend and I were stopped in a highway blockage on the way back because some guy improperly strapped his wooden furniture, the furniture falls off the back of the truck and wooden pieces go across the entire highway.

We wait for about 20 min for the highway to clear. We get back to Ghirardelli Square snd I start trying to locate my phone by calling it and I doesn’t even go to voicemail, all it says is, “this wireless customer can not be reached.

We look around the beach, park and parking lot and its nowhere to be seen. I try to locate it with Google find phone, and after about 10 minutes of trying to find the map that shows the location of my phone I finally find it.

I see it on the map in the San Francisco Bay. My gf and I run over and look out into the water to see if we can find anything and she spots a faint light coming from the ocean. I dropped it in the sand and the waves carried it out 10-15 feet and into about 4-5 foot deep water.

I take off my clothes and rush out to get it. As I pick it up, I feel it halfway submerged into the sand floor, sand running down my arms and hands as I hoist my phone out of the water. I run quickly back to shore and start rapidly drying it.

I rinsed it off so I don’t get salt corrosion but it was submerged under the ocean, in the sand for about a total time of hour and half. As of right now (12:27 am the time I wrote this) the phones seems to have no problems at all.

My favorite phone ever.

I was happy with this phone so far. It’s a bit of a downgrade from my aging Galaxy s model but to be honest I didn’t see much of a difference between this one and the flagships. The phone quality is as good as the S models.

It does have a plastic back but if you are going to use a case it’s no big deal. The processor speed fits my needs. If you are a big gamer or social media user you may need to charge your phone more often.

But for me even on my heavy Social media usage days I still have enough battery life to get me through the day. Overall the phone fit my needs. The cameras work well and take clear photos. The call quality is clear and I haven’t had any dropped calls.

I liked the option for the expandable storage as well. I will not that the phone does not include a SIM card or a charging block. Set up on my current cell provider was a breeze so I haven’t had any real issues as of yet.

It still checks off all the absolute essentials– good call quality, loud speakers, good volume. And it still holds up relatively well in the “extras” department. Display is still gorgeous, love the flat camera on the back, and though it is just a single lense, it still takes photos that are plenty sufficient for typical use.

Still snappy going through the UI, and still has a headphone jack. Stereo speakers are a bonus. I got mine in lilac purple and think it looks quite gorgeous. Slapped a Joker wallpaper on it to fit the purple color.

Still holds up well against alot of 2019, 2020, and even some 2021 flagships.

While this is not my current cell phone I did purchase it when it first came out. The quality is so superb that after many years it still works just as good as it did back then. I loved how lightweight and slim it was although I prefer a larger screen.

It was pretty easy to navigate which is a plus if you’re not tech savvy. The best feature in my opinion was the camera’s capability to take outstanding photos. The lcd screen colors are so vibrant and I ended up with high resolution pictures.

The S5 is water resistant; has a decent battery life, and comes with a SIM card. I had easy access to the battery which turned out to be very useful whenever I needed to reboot the phone. Money wise it was quite affordable compared to other smartphones.

Honestly, it’s one of the best and actually the last android phone I used before switching over to IOS. Smartphones are so pricey these days so if you’re looking for a great affordable older phone this would be a wise choice.

Samsung makes great phones. The S5 is not the newest, but it receives 5G and has everything you need. It is workhorse, user friendly, you do not need a Phd to navigate on it. You can change the battery yourself to boot; you do not need to take to a laboratory to have the battery changed by some NASA scientist in a clean room.

If you do not live in your phone, it will do just fine, it has a small form factor. The price is right, it does not cost as much as your house, no mortgage payments are needed to afford this phone. Buy one of these and the money you save can go toward your mortgage payments for your real house.

For all the “hype”, not as good as expected. It’s an okay device. I can tell the Developer has spent a lot of time, but some of the features don’t work as expected so I won’t be swapping my cell carrier SIM to the phone.

I will end up buying ‘stock’ Galaxy S5. For example, if I run TinyCam Pro, from the Google Play Store, I only get 1 1/2 hrs run time. Battery heats up a lot. I have recorded up to 104 degrees fahrenheit.

The phone is very glitchy. Phone has problems running ‘heavy’ apps. It will just freeze up or process the data intermittently. The home screen automatically changes to things I haven’t selected. Some apps that are available on my other devices running Android 10 are not available for this device.

Such as DJI Fly app. Others I select, I receive a notice that for whatever reason ‘cannot be installed on this device’. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to work the bugs out. and it’s okay. However, it is a real pain in the butt.

Built in functions like screen mirror do not work to a Roku like on my other devices. I had to download the Roku app. and it is glitchy on this phone, I could go on and on, but you get the point. I am overall disappointed.

This is the 4th or maybe 5th Samsung Galaxy 5s I’ve owned. I like it because (i) you can access the battery and SIM card, (ii) it’s the right size and lightweight, (iii) has more features than I need, (iv) compared to other phones, it’s relatively inexpensive, and (v) I know how to use it.

I would say, however, the one I just bought is not as good as the ones I’ve previously owned; and cost more. The touch screen is not as responsive. The device seems to have a mind of its own – opens applications by itself.

And. I’m finding it harder to customize – maybe the software is updated so that Samsung and its partners are in greater control. I’m not sure whether these issues are because the phone is of lesser quality than ones I’ve previously owned, or it’s new software.

I doubt that my next phone will be a 5s.

The first one I got from AT&T worked well for two years. Just after the coverage period expired, the power button started getting flaky, working only sometimes. I took it to one of those repair kiosks at a mall, and had the power button replaced.

That worked for about two weeks. The phone lasted only another few weeks before it wouldn’t turn on at all. I bought another new one from eBay with a 2-year insurance plan. Unfortunately, this one never accepted an AT&T update, seemed quite sluggish compared to my first one, the battery’s ability to hold a charge dropped significantly in about 2-3 months (my first one lasted about 12 months), and sure enough, after seven months of very light use, the power button stopped working altogether.

I never dropped them, never carried them in my back pocket, was a very light user, never got them wet or damp, and took excellent care of them. I loved the features and expandability of the phone, but I experienced the same problem with two supposedly new devices, and I’m not a gambler.

I’m not going into all the specifics about a GS5 as they have been replaced twice now. I will say that Samsung learned a lesson on S6 by removing the waterproofing and the expandable memory. Why any company would not allow extra storage is beyond me other than some of the Apple buyers having to buy phones with different memory capacity (and paying for it in a major way) I like being able to take my stuff from phone to phone.

It’s handy!! S7 is a pretty phone. Nice rounded edges. It is stylish. I think dollar for dollar, the GS5 is one heck of a deal!! Functions very well (frst phone I’ve owned in 14 years that was not Motorola) and I am VERY pleased with the function of the S5.

The only set back is the battery life. It’s pretty awful to the point I ordered another “extended” battery that is not really extended not to mention I loose my NFC capabilities. (being able to bump to share which, once you adapt to that, is VERY handy) Buying an S5 still to this day is a great deal.

It is an excellent phone that will bring you many happy months/years of use!! (were the battery life longer, it would be a 5 star review) If you’re looking for a fast and reliable phone, the S5 is it!! The expandable memory makes it oh! the sweeter along with being able to get it wet (maybe don’t go swimming but for sure, you could jump in and out of the water (pool/ stream/lake/pond) or drop it in a sink of water (or toilet for those more adventurous) If you have a couple hundred bucks you can afford to spend, I’d say you’re making an excellent choice with this phone.

If you look up my profile, you’ll note the last couple of Feedback sellers I used are EXCELLENT and worth shopping with. that is on phones, on tempered glass screen protectors, phone cases. All those vendors are AWESOME to deal with and very good at communicating!!! Bought this to be able to replace a really expensive phone I had and didn’t wanna spend more than 300 on a new one. It has an amazing camera, let me just say that. It’s size is great and feels pretty good in the hand.

Not use to android but, once I disconnected all the apps I didn’t need, I could finally use my phone the way I wanted to. For the most part I just talk, text, email, and do social media. This is what this phone is perfect for.

If you like to listen to music, just add in extra memory with a card and you’ll be good. It’s also water resistant! I havent tested it, nor do I want to, but it’s nice to have the potential comfort of it being ok if some water gets on it.

It’s front facing camera may be the only thing I have a problem as sometimes it just doesn’t seem like its 2MP. Battery life is great if you know what apps to have and how to moderate their notifications and what’s running in the background.

The screen is great. It’s bright, radiant, and the colors are vibrant. I honestly think that if you’re into removable batteries, this is the best Galaxy version to get. Galaxy S6 and above all don’t have removable batteries.

In terms of specs, this phone is great. If you’re always on the go and a social media guru and are constantly updating things like blogs and such, this phone’s processor and quality of pictures and videos may not be up to the best par for 2016, but it’ll definitely do the job.

Its February 2019 and all I can say is, why dont they bring back the Galaxy S5 Active. Im not tech savvy. But surely the S5 Active chassis could be used with upgraded technology. Might need some modifications, Im guessing but overall, it should not be a problem.

By now you have fathomed that, I truly love this phone and I am still using it. I work in the emergency services, putting in about 120 hours of work a week. Since the day I bought it, I did two things for it.

I did add a screen cover to enhance the protectiveness, along with providing a bumper cover. This bumper has a clear back with heavy duty molding that frames the top, bottom and 2 sides of the phone.

To date, this phone has been through extremes of weather, ranging from windchills of minus 25 degrees F to heat of waves of 110 degrees F. Ive swam with it in about 2 feet of water, dropped it from heights (accidentally while at work) of about 18 feet, a car drove over it while it lay face down in the street, sprayed it (also accidentally) with chemical cleaners such as Clorox.

It has been banged around during hard working environments as well as being slammed into walls and objects. The only thing that has happened to date is that the protective screen cover has very faint cracks (about 4) that are only noticeable, when the phone is held in a certain way.

All the phones functions and features that I use, have never failed. And there are still functions and features that I have not used. However, just recently, I was going add an app to my phone, that I need for work.

It seems that this app is not compatible with this phone’s OS. Apparently the OS is outdated. My rectification of this, at the moment, is to borrow my wife’s Tablet and add the app there. I really do not want to part with my phone, nor do I want to spend umpteen hundred dollars on a new phone.

So, in conclusion, should you need an incredibly reliable phone, where modern app usage is not at the top of your list, the Galaxy S5 Active, to this day, beats anything out there hands down. I see my friends and colleagues with their fancy new phone gadgets, that are banged up, or screen cracked within 6 months.

Some even have those bulky phone protectors. One last note, if you are looking to give young kids a cell phone, the Galaxy S5 Active price, while doing some research, is somewhere between $50 to about $150.

This phone is rugged and I to this day, highly recommend it. In case you are interested in knowing this, if I should go for a phone with an upgraded OS, Im leaning toward the Galaxy S8 Active.

I recently purchased Galaxy S5 Active after many years using Rugby flip phone. I chose this model for several reasons – sturdy construction (dust proof / water resistant) user replaceable battery and micro sd card slot for data and pictures, very good camera, sturdy case so I don’t have to add a bulky outer case, active button, no fingerprint scanner, several operating modes, full featured with lots of android aps available, nice clear display, no one button push to talk (which couldn’t be re-programed and I hated on the Rugby).

The S4 active is a little smaller which would fit better in a pocket, but it does not have the active button and has a lower rated camera. I added a tempered glass screen protector and am very happy with it as it shows noticeably less fingerprints and is much more scratch resistant.

The combination of S5 Active case and tempered glass screen protector results in a relatively compact form factor for a full size durable smartphone. I use some of the power saving features and the battery life has been great compared to other phones.

(Wife has to constantly recharge i phone and I have paid the Apple folks many time to change out the batteries in previous i phones we have owned). This android phone doesn’t require the special adapters Apple uses and provides much better value/function for the money in a good looking machine.

It has a nice solid feel when held in hand but sometimes seems slightly slippery due to its smooth surfaces. I’m 6 ft and old, so its size is good for me. People with smaller hands might prefer a smaller phone.

After 2 weeks of use, I am very happy with the phone and I do not not give out accolades often.

This is my first Smartphone, so this review is the thoughts of a novice to Smartphones, but has used cellphones for almost eighteen years now. My thoughts of the Samsung S5 Active are: 5 stars for the design, value, easy of use, and the wealth of functions this phone has.

Love the feel, and layout of the controls, and the fact phone is designed to be water proof if all ports/covers are properly closed and secured. Even though this phone out of the box is built like a tank, I encased it in a OutterBox Defender case for even more protection.

4. 5 stars for the camera. Photos taken with the S5 Active are very good if you take your time and wait for the camera to acquire proper focus, while holding the camera very still. Colors and saturation are very good without any user enhancements.

3 stars for the volume and sound. I didn’t purchase this phone to be a boom box for playing music, or for people to hear my conversations from ten feet away. When listening through the built in earphone to a conversation I would like to have a greater amount of volume.

With my previous flip phone I could never use the volume at max as it was to loud. My S5 at full volume is a little low for me. Needs a boost, or tweak in this function. I will rate the speaker function below.

2. 5 stars for the Battery. If I leave home at 6:45am with a 100% charge, I will normally return around 7:00pm with approximately 15%-25% remaining battery life. That normal day for me includes between three and ten voice calls normally lasting less than two minutes each, perhaps two to five text messages, looking at the app “MyRadar” to check local weather conditions perhaps two to three times a day, and spending five to ten minutes a day while on my lunch break, looking at world news and current events on the Internet.

Form some people this may be great, but I’m used to charging may phone and having two to four days of battery life if I needed it without charging. I see why people are constantly looking for charging outlets now, especially if really using a smartphone a lot.

1 star for the speaker phone. I’ve off and on had problems with people hearing me when on the speaker. I’ve tried all kinds of tricks to get through this annoying problem. Turning off ‘Noise Reduction’ seemed to help with both ear phone and speaker phone communications.

Shutting the phone down, removing the battery, and sim card, letting it sit like that for ten minutes, then doing a reset by holding the Power/Up Volume/and Home buttons at the same time to get to the Android operating system to clear the cache memory, and then rebooting, will also work for awhile.

Not sure why if I make a call on the speaker at times people can’t hear me, but turning the speaker off works. To me it should not effect the microphone operation unless boosting it’s range when going to speaker mode, and changing the volume of the speakers.

Not sure if this problem is with the phone hardware, or operating system, but it is annoying. Overall I love this phone, and would say it is ‘Perfect’ if it not for the operation while using the speaker mode.

Phone is working great. The AMOLED screen is bright and sharp, and the phone is very thin and the metallic edge looks very cool. The refurbished phone has only a minor ding on the back cover which is hardly noticeable.

The operating system is Lollipop (Android 5. 0. 2) which works fine. I am not sure if Samsung will ever release Marshmallow for this phone. There are three drawbacks: (1) The battery is new, but it lasts barely 24 hours and less under heavy use (a solution is to purchase a third-party high-capacity battery); (2) since it is an AT&T unlocked phone, it comes with uninstallable AT&T bloatware which is annoying, but you can prevent them from running in the background by disabling them in Settings->Application manager; (3) the touch screen sometimes becomes unresponsive for a few seconds, though you can prevent this from happening by closing unnecessary apps before the phone goes into standby mode.

To me these are all minor issues; that is why I still give the phone 5 stars.

I had the original Samsung and I loved it. I bought this one hoping that it would be better. Its not. It lags so much and I have to restart it daily. It was a waste of money. This is the first time I have really been disappointed.

Sleek, great performance, removable battery a plus, good battery life, fast charging, nice materials but the software has one nagging problem. On the status bar in the notification area is the notification “connected to WiFi” when you’re connected to WiFi.

This notification CANNOT be turned off, which I confirmed with several Samsung technicians. Why? That’s ridiculous. It’s not needed and takes up screen space.

32 for an unlocked phone that runs Android 4. 1. 2 (It came with Android 2; I had to do the upgrade, which was easy) with a standard SIM card can’t be bad. Battery life fine, a day or two between charges which is about par for the course.

For a ten-year-old phone, it punches well above its weight. Excellent camera – if slightly sluggish (only slightly), very acceptable sound recorder, I use the All Reader app for PDFs and eBooks. Games? No thanks, don’t care.

Google apps? No thanks, but you can’t delete them without crippling the other web functionality. The music player is a bit fiddly, and it won’t play some video formats, but I think this is more due to proprietary lock downs than any fault with the OS design.

In-phone storage is very limited (1 G b), but a large micro-SD card and you’re away. Seamlessly smooth USB integration with Windows, too. Google maps and G Mail work fine on WiFi and Talk Talk. The screen seems to attract a lot of finger grease deposits, and the shiny bezel on this particular item is worn.

For 32 inc. postage and a bit of foo ter ing about with Odin. ex e I’m not complaining one bit. Who needs the future?.

Summer 2017: After around 3 years or so of appreciation for my super trusty Galaxy s4 I lost the blooming thing recently which was for the first time ever, which came as quite a shock to me. Funny enough I was messing around with it idly one day when I somehow managed put a four digit hardware unlock code in it just a few weeks before I lost it so I just left the code on, albeit that it was a bit of a nuisance at times, and in particular when I may of been trying to answer a call – and too late, it had stopped ringing before I could answer, duh.

Well they say that every cloud has a silver lining, so maybe that was fate. So (particularly as my Son calls me a dinosaur) I decided on jump up two models to a Galaxy s6 which turned out to be a big big mistake because it was so space age and geeky compared to my pretty straightforward s4.

I had a good look at a Galaxy s5 being the model in the middle and hit the jackpot as I found that it had all of the functions of the s4 and more of course, and very little if any of the super-dupa mind boggling s6.

So, my motto is now ‘measure twice, cut once’ as I was taught as a teenager, or look before you leap, and I have to admit that I bought the s6 on a whim and without proper research first. Best of luck :-)).

Happy to find a new S5 phone brand new in the box frozen in time. I expected the battery wouldn’t be any good anyway, considering it was already 5 or 6 years old but the price was right. Great thing is this phone had the latest android version that S5 could support and it was unlocked.

Didn’t have a whole lot of trouble connecting it with my carrier although I had to purchase a bring your own phone sim card kit. Seems to be working well in every way, good deal.

Very weak (old) battery included. Seems like B-Stock generally, On 2 of 3 phones the screen was not in pace perfectly. One screen stopped working soon, the other is “just” bend a little bit and there was excess glue.

I am wondering if back covers are not original, the rubber seal is smaller then of my old original S5 (same model) and the letters of the Samsung logo are not perfect fit and therefore you can move them around.

Legitimacy is questionable.

I basically can’t stand this phone. I bought it brand new so it’s not the victim of being used, it’s just rubbish out of the box. The touch screen often stops working, frequently I can’t get into it using my unlock pattern because it refuses to “finish” the pattern, as in I do my 6 dots and it’s there expecting a 7th or whatever.

over and over and over so I have to remove the back of the phone and pull the battery to get into it. The various “quick” settings/buttons are useless and there’s no way to put a quick airplane mode button on, or a quick flashlight button or a quick access alarm setting on without using this extra overlay menu thing that’s annoying and in the way.

Since naked phones are fragile (stupid!) I had to buy a case of course, so I bought the official Samsung flip-open half window case thing, which automagically produces a half-phone-sized window for quick access to some stuff except that doesn’t work at all.

There are buttons for quick access to the camera and stuff but they do not work, 0% functional. I want to say this is the worst phone I’ve ever used but I suffer through a work issued iphone that’s even worse.

Basically the heirarchy is any other phone>dying of liver cancer>the Samsung Galaxy S5>iPhones I hate this phone and will never buy another Samsung product if I can avoid it.

I am a technology specialist and have been for many years but my entry into the smartphone arena has been intentionally postponed. Using browsers on a cell phone, any phone was not intriguing to me. After much consideration, I bought two Samsung Galaxy S2’s.

I have used it for about a month now and I am very impressed with the processor speed, and the clarity of the display functions. While the camera is not the highest quality on the market today, it is more than adequate for the pictures I take.

The phone had good battery life and would be much better but I work in a metal building and it burns battery attempting to contact a cell tower and can not find one. My wife uses hers without the metal building and she gets at least double the battery life as I.

It is Android based and uses apps from the Google Play store which means that virtually anything you would want to do from your phone is available. The phone is very easy to use, the phone quality is great and the voice recognition capabilities are fantastic.

The predictive keying during text entry is a great aid and I use it a lot to correct my keying during and following text entry. The phone is not the latest in technology by about 2-3 years but for me, that is fine.

The cost is 1/3 the latest technology cost so when considering the phone performance versus cost, it is hands-down a good buy. I have very quickly become dependent on this device and would definitely buy it again.

This is my 2nd purchase of this model as was happy with my first. however I had to replace the first as dropped it on a hard surface with no case and the screen went blank never to recover. The reason I bought the same model again was because unlike later models it is very easy to change the battery and does not have a glass back which is even more of a problem in terms of major damage.

This phone is very good for the individual that only requires a phone to receive and make calls, text and take pretty good photos! I have laptop and desktop computors so do not need this phone for the internet.

I have no need or desire to have a mobile that is all singing / dancing with latest internet technology and pay 10 times as much for it. Also have no desire to take out 13 screws like with later models in order to change a battery, you simply remove the back and insert a new one in seconds! Re battery life where I have put no – it is much more to do with the chargers that are probably not the real deal more so than a problem with the battery.

I had this phone years ago, when it first came out. At the time it was an affordable good quality smartphone and the thing I liked best was the quality of photographs it took. The screen was very clear and the black background was super black so the coloured app icons were crisp and clear.

It was slim and felt nice to hold with the case having a soft grip feel to it. The only issue as time passed was the lack of space and the eventual lack of upgrades to the Android version, which is what made me get another phone in the end.

This is the last of the small factor cell phones for the sprint network. Today all the phones are quite large and this one still fits nicely in your pocket without a huge uncomfortable bulge. I wanted a phone that just basically worked well as a phone and was good for texting and for retrieving my email.

I really do not need all the bells and whistles phones offer today. The small size is really my main desire and this phone fits the bill. The factory battery is not great, about 12 hours with me setting up the phone for minimum consumption.

Their are numerous videos out there that show you how to set up an android phone for keeping the battery going as long as possible. The good news is there are some recent batteries through aftermarket vendors that offer more than double the capacity of the factory battery and for the going price of about $15 you can have a great small phone that will last on battery in standby for about 2 to 3 days.

Which makes the phone much more comparable to todays phones all in a very nice small size.
