Box bleach is an at-home hair coloring kit that lightens hair. It is typically used to achieve lighter shades of blonde, but can also be used to lighten dark hair. The kit includes a bleach powder, developer, and instructions.
Hair type varies from person to person. It is the porosity of the hair that determines whether or not natural hair picks up the pigments. The actual color of natural hair alone does not determine whether or not bleaching is necessary.
Natural blonde hair may require bleaching to become porous just as any other hair color does.
It does its job. You will not have any pigment left in your hair. That said it is very harsh and not something I reccomend. I used it in high school once when I. got it in my head that I wanted pink hair.
Go to the hairdresser. I know this I have multiple in my family. I was being a teenager when I used this but I am encouraging teens and everyone else to leave it to the professionals. I had very short hair at the time so the damage went away quickly.
Golden rules. If you are going to bleach it then tone it. Leave it to the professionals they are trained ( they know the exact time to leave things on, what to do if ___ happens, etc etc)and practiced (daily ,at work, on all hair types) you do not know more than them.
You can spot a bottle job a mile a way. You do not possess the same skills as a hairdresser and what comes in those bottles is not quality. Also you can’t colour over colour. Sorry for rant. It works but is bad for you.
Don’t use it or do anything at home. Go to the salon.
This worked fantastic! Not only that, it smelled nice, and had GREAT directions! That’s super important when it comes to bleaching hair. I was able to lighten my daughters hair at least 7 shades for her to do her purple streak.
I left it only a half hour because I didn’t want to break her hair off, so just imagine if I left it 15 more minutes for the total time?! I’m just so totally pleased with this user/beginner friendly bleach.
Totally recommend. In fact, I’ve already purchased another box for my kids next round. One thing I will note, is not a lot comes in it, I would’ve needed maybe 2-3 boxes for her whole head, but it’s great for doing a couple streaks on short hair or one on long.
Manic Panic is a pretty good brand of dye for fashion (un natural/ vibrant/ rainbow) colors. Personally. I recommend Arctic Fox. But Manic Panic is pretty good. The colors stay vibrant for about 2-3 weeks depending on how often you wash your hair and what shampoo you use.
But Arctic fox lasts longer. Manic panic are however, brighter colors they just fade faster. There are only two brands of dye I will use on my hair and this is one of them.
Our Bleach, Please Complete Hair Lightening Kit is finally here! Bleach, Please can lift hair up to 8 levels (results may vary) and includes 35 Volume developer, premium vegetable-based cream bleach, and latex-free gloves to touch up your roots or take your lightening game to the next level.
First off, let me start by saying I have Asian black/brown hair, which doesn’t take bleaching very well, and I don’t bleach or dye my hair that often either. I’ve never used boxed bleach kits before, but wanted to try this out after seeing it at Ulta.
2/3’s of my hair was previously bleached and dyed purple. This was about 2 months ago, the color had already faded. This time around I decided to color the other 1/3 of my hair. Packaging: The only issue I had was the tube for the bleach cream.
The tube with the cream was hard to get out, I had to cut the opposite end just to make sure I got all the product out. Product: Like I said, bleaching/dyeing my hair is not something I do often. This is just a review from my experience.
The bleach turned my pre-bleached hair pretty white after about 5 minutes. The rest of the hair that wasn’t previously bleached took about 40 minutes to lighten to a yellowish color. The bleach has a greasy feeling to it, which I’m guessing is a good thing to keep your hair healthy? I didn’t like that greasy feeling, but I can deal with it.
After bleaching I washed, shampooed and conditioned my hair, as well as using a hair mask. My hair doesn’t have that dry feeling like the other products I’ve used. I’m actually going to use it again tomorrow to go over the yellow parts of the hair before dyeing it red.
I’m not one to write reviews but I here I am at 2:30 in the morning, writing one after what just happened to me. I ran out of unicorn hair bleach for the right side of my head and applied Arctic fox (probably a terrible idea overall to mix two different brands but that’s beside the point) with Arctic fox, I went through the most painful experience I have ever been through which lasted over 2 hours.
I am a tough gal but I had to cut the development short by 10 min, my right side of my head is lumpy and swollen, I can’t even move my hair around, my scalp hurts so bad. When Paul Atreides stuck his hand inside of the box, i imagine this is the pain he had felt on his hand.
It was sooo painful to apply the hair color afterwards because of shifting of hair around that now my hair is 5 different shades from white to orange. The box says to not wash your hair for 2 days at minimum.
I hadn’t washed my hair for 3 days. I remember because I was trying to time the days along with my birthday and Thanksgiving day and it still burned the heck out of me. The unicorn worked beautifully no pain – felt really nice – this is the way.
I wish I had two boxes of Unicorn Hair Bleach Party to use. Never again.
I wish I could give this zero stars. I’ve bleached my hair several times at home and I’ve never had an issue before. I got this product because I’ve heard so many good things about AF. Well, this is their flop product.
It didn’t mix properly so it was super watery. It quickly turned to a foamy liquid even though it says no drip and it dripped down onto my roots and forehead. I got 1/4 way through my head (20 minutes) and I had to rinse it out because it processed so quickly and started to burn my forehead.
It gave me chemical burns on my scalp and forehead, very bad hot roots, and my hair started breaking off at my scalp. The woman who fixed my hair said it was a blessing that it processed so quickly that I rinsed it out because I would have lost all my hair if I had finished and let it sit the full time.
When I contacted the company they said that they recommend doing a 2:1 ratio. I told them then it should say that in the instructions because I followed what they said. I don’t know why this max strength 40 volume product is sold to the general public, it’s dangerous.
Our Hair Lightening Kit is exactly what you need to bleach hair to that perfect white canvas so its ready to show off some vibrant color. This 4oz hair lightening kit is vegan, gluten free, and Leaping Bunny Cruelty Free Certified.
I never want to use another brand of lightener for my hair at home besides GDY! It’s got the best consistency and is so easy to apply. It doesn’t drip, it doesn’t run, and if you pass the patch test, it doesn’t fry your scalp to bits of you accidentally get it too much of it on your skin for a few minutes.
Its developer is not too severe (25 vol. ), meaning you can take your time with application and not worry about the first sections you applied it to getting too light or becoming brittle and weak from the process of the formula.
I especially was grateful for this in my most recent bleach sesh, as I ran out of bleach mid-sesh and had to have my dad buy more! The first sections ended up enduring a few hours with the lightener on them, but they came out virtually unscathed in terms of texture and strength! Plus, they got SO LIGHT that even my new phone’s camera had real trouble capturing the result 😂 If you have hair like mine with low-porosity, a.
k. a. it takes forever to get wet and takes forever to dry, and you want a lightener that’ll take you up to level 9+ safely, this one is the holy grail. Just make sure to buy enough boxes of it ahead of time! 😉.
I did my research and saw the reviews and it seemed like a good product to lighten my hair without too much damage or irritation. Well I guess I was wrong because as soon as I got to my roots to start to finish the application it was burning.
My hair was really damaged afterwards. Luckily no hair fell out but still. Usually if I get bleach damage I can easily fix it but this time it’s being tricky. This stuff really messed up my hair. I have lightened my hair before with box stuff and it was much more pleasant.
There is so much brass too. That’s what I get for being lazy and not going to CosmoProf and enjoying free shipping at Sephora.
This is arguably one of the best lightening kits I’ve used. It lifts super fast even with a 25 vol developer and it’s one of the more even bleach jobs I’ve given myself. I have chin-length hair and I had to use two boxes, maybe a professional could have gotten away with using one, but I’m glad I had two on hand.
My hair was kind of cruncy and weird feeling but after a deep conditioning treatment, my hair feels great!.
Each hair bleaching kit includes one dust-free bleach powder, one 40 volume cream developer, one mixing tub, one tint brush, one plastic cap, one set of plastic gloves and instructions for use. MANIC PANIC Hair Bleaching Kits provide you with all the tools you need to prepare your lovely locks for MANIC PANIC hair dye.
All MANIC PANIC hair dyes and bleach kits are free from gluten, ammonia, PPD, resorcinol and phthalates, packed in a Vegan formula. Every MANIC PANIC hair dye is PETA accredited, made in the USA and tested on celebrities – not animals.
For best results, perform a strand test before bleaching hair with the MANIC PANIC bleaching kits. Hair dye results do vary, though, based on base color, porosity and hair type. Avoid using on hair with more than 10% grey coverage and read instructions included with the products.
Not for use if you want platinum WHITE hair however, I do like this product line. The mixing bowl it comes with is VERY small which makes it hard to effectively mix the product well, so I’d make sure you have your own bowl.
Also, I like the brush, but if you have a lot of hair, I’d buy a bigger brush. Being 40Vol you need to work fast. I have long, thick, course, platinum hair. First application, I used 2 boxes on just my roots, let sit for 2 hours, and then washed out.
I would not recommend 2hrs but I do not have a sensitive scalp, kept it fully saturated, bag over my head, kept checking it. I then had to use 2 toning masks (1 blue & 1 purple) for several hours each in my hair, & then rebleached my roots with 20vol, higher quality bleach.
After that, I “Toned it” with a purple shampoo. & Now 2 weeks later I still have to buy toner for my roots. This is my first time using this bleach kit. Normally I only have to bleach & tone once within a week & I am done.
I’m a product junkie so I thought I’d give it a shot! I will admit that to “normal people” they say my hair is white, but anyone who is platinum and picky like me, all you see is yellow LOL I would recommend this product but for VERY small outgrowth, touch ups, for blonde hair results (not white), or use prior to then coloring your hair a fun color 🙂 I also would recommend this if you are someone who has hair that lifts fast (just careful with 40vol) or whose roots are lighter.
The 40 Vol Manic Panic bleach is the best box lightener I’ve used for my hair. I have very dark brown, almost black, hair, and a lot of bleaches – especially with vol 20 developers – don’t lift me more than maybe 2 or 3 shades, and I get stuck in the wonderful red/orange phase.
THIS however gets me from my natural to a nice light blonde (so from about level 3 to level 10) in one sitting! The only issue I’ve come across, is with my last 2 purchases, as the developer in both have had foam coming out of the closed bottles? Now, my hair is highly stubborn, the developer still mixed with the powder well, and my hair didn’t seem to be anymore damaged that it normally is after a bleaching.
SO I’m not sure if the developer was expired or not? There’s no dates anywhere on either boxes, so I have no way of knowing. But, again, it still bleached my hair and didn’t make my hair fall out or anything, which is why the foam only takes off 1 star.
I have BLACK hair! And I meant B L A C K!!! My hair dressers over the years, asian or not, all made comments about how black my hair is LOL I never have luck trying to lighten my hair! I’ve bleached it couple times in my life, and every single time it ended with my scalp hurts or burns or my eyes just waters because of the fume no matter how/where/what they do, I do have pretty sensitive skin in general.
But I was ok the whole process. Recently after the pandemic, I have no really color my hair for a year, I just feel like changing it up without going to salon, so I figured I’ll just try this. I have thick hair slightly longer than shoulder length so I bought two boxes, and it’s pretty good amount to cover everything.
20 minutes into it, my hair is already gotten so light I’m pleasantly surprised! But that also is kinda of a double edge sword cuz I have not done applying to my whole head which made it pretty uneven! But that’s something I kinda know would’ve happened since I’m not a pro anyway! I’m hoping in a month when I do this the second time, when it’s so light it’ll be more even since they should be almost white.
My hair is rather healthy when I started with this, I can feel my hair gotten flat and don’t have the bouncy-ness anymore after bleaching. Again, this is expected since no bleach is really good for any hair anyway.
There’s some breakage too but not too bad. I do prep my scalp with oil and protection treatment well before going in, and I suggest everybody to do so, it won’t hurt!.
Important information Directions 1. Wearing the enclosed gloves, open the bleach plastic bag. Avoid inhaling powder. 2. Empty full contents of bleach powder into the provided tub. 3. Gradually add the developer to the bleach powder in the tub.
Using the brush, blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Sometimes it is not necessary to use all the contents of the developer. 4. Apply mixture immediately. Do not wait a long time.
ENCHANTED FOREST MANIC PANIC HAIR DYE. I’ve always had mixed experiences with manic panic hair dye. If you want the advertised shade you need very white blonde hair, if your hair is brown, black, tinted with any other color it will always come out another shade.
Usually still a beautiful and unique shade but you should expect it be different then the packaging color. I achieved this shade with a faded green and put the enchanted forest hair dye on top. The dye smells good and fruity in my opinion.
It’s thick, and if you don’t shampoo often it will last a long time! The dye is thick and I’ve always achieved gorgeous shades with this brand.
horrible. way less in the box than their other bleach and it dried on contact with my hair. it caused irritation and didnt lift my hair nearly as well aa their other flash lightening projects. it left a dust in my hair causing it to snow when i tried brushing my hair after the shower and damaged my hair.
it also locked up my hair and made it impossible to part or section my hair. was missing the gloves, hair cap, and mixing bowl.
Bought this because I wanted to temporarily change the colour of my hair and I wanted a colour that wouldn’t be faded too quickly or wouldn’t pop enough. I didn’t have to worry because when I tell you you needed sunglasses to look at my hair because of how bright this was- it was no exaggeration.
okay, maybe a little bit, but it was really good. plus it didn’t leave my hair grey and ashy like when the colour started fading as some other semi-permanent hair colours do. It also. didn’t transfer to my clothes or pillow, or leave my hair hard.
These are other experiences I’ve had with other semi-permanent dyes.
This high performance powder bleach delivers faster and brighter, superior lightening power. It is Dust-free, Non-drip concentrated formula, extra strength lightening action lifts up to 7 levels, for easy on-scalp or off-scalp application and stays moist and creamy throughout application and processing.
Quick blue works great! It has worked better for me than any other lightning powder I’ve ever used. I am very satisfied with results. It worked very well with a 40 volume developer to get my hair light enough so Arctic Fox color would be extremely vibrant and fun! I often recommend quick blue to family and friends.
Will continue to buy at Sally’s and use this product. My hair is naturally dark brown/black. In the darker picture below I was lightened with a couple bleach baths and previously had Arctic fox colors Wrath and Purple af in it.
I had not used color remover before bleaching, mostly because I really dislike the smell. Also, I am definitely not a professional. I am just doing this for fun and because I like it. In my opinion, life is too short and its just hair, it grows back.
So have fun and do what you want. Cut it short, color it blue, pink, green, who cares. As long as you like it, it is your hair after all. Don’t let anyone or even yourself hold you back from doing what you want! I hope this review will help someone out there.
I love this powder bleach for lightening and bleaching hair at home. I do my own hair, as well as my daughter and friends and other family members and I have done so for many years. so I have tried many different brands and types of bleach and this has always given me the best results.
It is simple enough for anyone to follow the directions and do on themselves or someone else. I do recommend though if you are doing your hair at home to ALWAYS first do a small test strip of hair just to make sure your hair can handle it before you put through your entire hair.
Then I would do a lot of research of the products you are using and reading all directions carefully and fully a few times before getting started and also it never hurts to watch a few YouTube videos.
Research the brands you are using as well and see what others have said about them, it will really make a difference when finding the best items for you to use on your hair at home. If you are doing your own hair and looking to lighten your hair I would recommend using this bleach, my experiences have always been pleasant.
I have bleached my hair before an the directions on this product not great 2 ozs is not enough developer it was like baking soda once it had mixed tried to get it in my hair in fpur sections like it says nope was like cement trying to put in my hair.
My husband ended up putting more developer in my hair to try an mix it in an for it to spread more thank god he did cause otherwise it qouldve been patches. Npte i ended up using 2 packets an still not enough I highly dont recommend using this product at all shimmerimg white an developer a lot better.
I couldnt remember what i used last time so igave this a try. It didnt work my hair is now orangish red lookimg an still can see brown to. Called the one I went to years ago they told me shimering white purple label an npw that I see it i can remember that was it an it will get it done first time make sure when you do this it is like a cake batter not a baking soda mixture wont work an it was burning me at the end to.

I purchased this in conjunction with the 20 Creme Developer – and that’s all you need! I have half-and-half hair: one side is black, the other, pink. Naturally, however, I have dark brown hair so while I don’t need to do my roots as often for my darker side, I do have to regularly upkeep the pink side.
I absolutely destroyed my hair years ago with Splat and other drugstore bleaches years ago (most of those are 40 Developer!) and I am here to tell you – you don’t need higher volumes! This works just as well.
Sometimes my roots can come out pretty brassy still but it’s an easy fix with toner or a purple shampoo. This bottle and tub have lasted me months, I bought them in December and while I am running low, I have enough for another root touch up.
I spent a little under $25 for the both of these and having gotten multiple applications out of them as you make what you need (instead of box dyes where you have to make and use it all then and there) – it’s definitely worth the switch!.
This Clairol bleach lightener powder definitely gets the job done. The lift is great just tend to make the hair a little dried out. I typically like to use this product on bundles or enchanting more so than natural hair for the fact that it leaves my natural hair feeling a bit dry.
But it definitely gives great lift so that a plus if you need a budget friendly alternative to do at home.
This is my first time using this bleach. I usually use a Wella bleach from Sally’s. I heard that this is a very common bleach for at home bleaching. I wanted allot of bleach for cheap, since I can’t go out and get my usual bleach (thanks to covid).
This is a great size, especially if you just want to keep up on your roots, this will last you a while I imagine. It is less dusty than average bleach, however I noticed the texture of the bleach powder isn’t as a finally ground as other bleaches.
It has more of a slight crumb texture to it. But, this doesn’t cause any issues as far as I know, it’s just something I noticed. It is a white bleach! Just keep that in mind, it will make your hair orange if your going from a really dark shade.
I used it as a bleach bath and it works as expected. Overall it’s a good deal for a good amount of bleach, it’s not super dusty. I would recommend especially if you are looking for an affordable bleach.

I really wanted something that was safer than other toxic alternatives because my skin and scalp, well basically everything is sensitive and i also take allergy meds daily. This was perfect for me i didn’t notice any reactions or sensitivities.
I was extra cautious and even did this outside for better ventilation and used gloves and a smock and old clothes i didn’t mind throwing away or using as old work clothes just in case. I lined my hairline with Vaseline all the way around.
I followed the directions to a T by reading it several times and watching videos as well. If you have never done something like this before it’s best to be over prepared than underprepared because U can end up in bad shape.
If you are looking for a safer alternative product such as this then I’m thinking you are already going to be cautious. I’m very pleased with the results and the items included in the package. I also like to use hair masks and color conditioners to help make this last.
Try this product out if you are on the fence it is well worth it for your peace of mind and your hair.
Bleach London is a community of an ever-present source of endless inspiration for anyone who wants to transform their hair. Our products aren’t made with any specific gender, race or age group in mind.
I have bleached my hair before, 4 years ago to be exact so I knew what to do and what not to do this round. I recieved 3 boxes which was perfect because my hair is 1. Thick 2. Black 3. Loooonnnngggggg so for ultimate coverage 3 boxes was great.
I was weary at first as going from black to white isn’t a small step, definitely a dramatic change however I am 100% up for it because I don’t have any work or school codes that won’t allow me, I’m a stay at home mom so this if anything was fun to do so I can have a change of pace.
I have a big master bathroom, doors were opened and vents was on and the odor of the bleach was still strong!!! I highly recommend not having any pets, children, elderly near by because this stinks and burns!!! I wore a mask, I should have opened up the windows but I didn’t think.
I was disappointed becuase I assumed there would be a tint brush included like other dye boxes have but this did not so I ended up using a new toothbrush, hair brush and gloves to make sure everything was covered.
I was doing this by myself so it took a LONG time to get every single strand and made sure I got the back of my head too while angling with 3 different mirrors around, if possible I recommend having a friend to help.
Also reminder always wear clothes you don’t care about when dying hair * I wore baggy clothes. I didn’t want to do highlights, tips, half, as I’d look like a skunk so I did everything which means my scalp got the worst of it.
Of course bleach is bleach so I knew it would burn my scalp but I’m not too sensitive as others so it was bearable for me. After waiting and waiting to let the bleach sit, showered and waited 1 week to apply the white toner.
Before the toner my hair was 100% bronz-y but not as much as I predicted which made me happy. After the toner it did lift it a couple shades however I would not claim it as “white” hair, still bronze glaze to it and yellowish but not like a penny.
Maybe if I reapply every week for 2 weeks it will achieve the actual white color, if not this still eliminated the black to where I can choose another color like purple or red to my hair!.
I really struggled with using the Bleach London Total Bleach kits. My natural virgin hair is shoulder length, medium brown, and fairly straight and thin. First, I made sure to thoroughly read the instructions, about 8 times, watch online videos and tutorials, and complete my strand and skin tests.
I was irritated to find out that the kits do not come with an application brush and I had to visit a few stores to try to find one to purchase for use with the kits. As much as I was confident in the memorization of instructions and how to use the product, there was absolutely no way that I would be able to use this on my own head with my own hands and lack of vision in the back of my head.
I scored amazing help for applying the product with my directions. I quartered my hair, set timers, did thin slices, and used two boxes of Total Bleach to cover my hair and roots. After the final rinse, double shampoos and the reincarnation mask, I found my hair to be less than expected.
It felt very harsh and parched. “Tiger stripes” was a term thrown around to describe the missing patches or streaks. All the ends were lighter, but still brown. I set the timers to the upper limits recommended in the instructions which really helped in lifting my original color to a lighter version (one of 6 shades of orange).
I do have to say, point blank, this is not an easy process. It is very difficult to make sure that all strands are well coated, evenly coated, from top to bottom, inside and out. It is hard to correctly time the quarters, time the application of the roots, time when to rinse without rinsing other sections.
There are so many variables that come into play. Start to finish, the bleaching process alone took a solid 3 hours from the start of brushing and parting my hair to the final rinse of the hair mask. I am pleased that the final result has showed lightening of my hair.
It isn’t even, but the Total Bleach did what it was supposed to do. Much of the other failures result from user error and lack of experience. I would like to see Bleach London show additional support with online video content and updated instruction manuals (how often bleach can be reapplied to receive desired lightness and maximum time bleach can be left on mid/ends plus roots).
I was suprised that the bleach didn’t irritate my scalp or skin in any way! I wouldn’t purchase this product in the future as I don’t appreciate the feel of my hair afterwards and because it is extremely hard (almost impossible) for me to apply by myself.
A little more expensive than the average bleach kit but is absolutely worth every extra cent! Before trying Bleach London, I would have to buy two boxes of one of L’Oreal’s supposedly strongest color lifting kits or of Garnier’s PL1 or PL2.
I bought two not because of hair length or volume, although you should consider that whenever you are trying to decide how many boxes you should buy, bcs trust me it’s better to have bought too much than to have only bought one and have to go back to the store with a bad dye jobğŸ˜ğŸ¥¸ Anyway, I would always use the 1st box to touch up my roots, which not even gonna lie would have grown well past the ½ an inch touch up rule😬 Yeahhh.
so the 2nd box, that obviously had to be used to fix banding and attempt to fix uneven spots. unfortunately I was still always left with uneven and less than platinum hair. Then I tried This bleach kit, I had been wanting to try Bleach London for awhile but buying it online was not an option bcs of how expensive it would always end up being with shipping.
But, then my local Walmart actually started to carry it! I couldn’t believe it! All of their products sold out immediately, which left me having to wait until they restocked again, but as promised, they alerted me 1st thing when that next shipment came in! I ended up buying the total bleach kit + toning kit , and I was beyond happy with the results, no banding, no uneven color, just the shade of platinum that I had previously attempted to achieve but to no avail.
So please if you also have a history of using other popular bleach kits and always getting a less than satisfying result, consider trying this one! It might just save you hours of time, and the costs of buying a “second box”🤷🠼†♀ï¸.
Get the gorgeous, luminous Super Blonde hair you’ve always wanted. Advanced super-lightening action delivers smooth, even blonding from root to tip and lightens natural or color-treated hair in one simple step.
Super-rich creme protects and conditions as it lightens, and the specially formulated conditioning shampoo deeply hydrates, keeping hair soft and manageable.
I have been using this hair color for about 10 years. I have dark brown hair and I leave it on roots for 50 minutes, use purple shampoo for toner and the color is exactly like the picture on the box.
Only use 1/2 box a month. Mix it in a bowl and apply with a brush. Not a week goes by that someone doesn’t stop me and ask where I get my hair colored. And the funniest thing is that I work at a salon!.
Hello ladies, This will be the 2nd time I have written a review on this said product. I have used thia multiple times but this will be the second review because sometimes results change. Product can be the same without the identical finished product.
Upon using this with lighter roots as before i had light to medium brown roots. My hair came out amazing. No toner needed. No purple shampooing in the shower for weeks. Absolutely perfect color. Now ladies I am a firm believer on off scalp lightening I do not take it to the root on my scalp i leave about 1/4 inch gap.
As i said before I love this product. Ni Sally beauty supply run and very cheap. Kit comes with instructions, gloves, bleach, developer, cream lightener, toner, after care wash and applicator tips.
my hair color is super flat and boring with absolutely no highlights whatsoever. I started using the Loreal super blonde number 200 and it works well. My fiance then found number 205 and it makes my hair look beautiful like one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends! I have amazing highlights and it does not make my hair look flat or boring whatsoever! I love this and I will never use any other dye! The scary saying is my hair is super thin but this has never cause serious irreparable damage.
Whenever I am done my hair is always super soft! So soft as a matter of fact it is difficult to put up the next morning because it is like silk and slips between my fingers. I would recommend this product to absolutely anybody that wants to go a natural looking pretty blonde.
For the ulitimate dramatic color results when you dye your hair, you have to bleach your hair first. You can get amazing blonde results, too! Best Choice for Pre- Lightening hair before using Special Effects Hair Dye.
Can be used to bleach hair that is medium blond or medium brown to make it pale yellow or white. Good for frosting, streaking and tipping on light brown or medium brown hair.
This is the best Ive ever used! Ive seen some reviews complaining about the product leaving yellow, orange or brassy undertones. After you dye your hair, youre supposed to use toner afterwards. For orange undertones, you use a blue toner.
For yellow undertones you use a purple toner. Blue is the opposite on the color wheel from Orange, so blue cancels out orange tones. Same with purple. You have to purchase a toner, AND 20-30 volume developer separately.
It definitely lightened my hair! I really should have used 2 boxes bc I ran out. If your hair is past your shoulders definitely buy 2 boxes. Id never ran out of any kinda of color or bleach before until now.
Very good product but not a lot to do a whole lot of hair.
This is an excellent & amazing product. This was my 1st time using it- I have dark hair and this is the 1st bleaching product that I have found that lifted the color out of my hair lightening quick & for the most part evenly.
The kit came with gloves & a cap- the shipping was extremely fast. I will definitely be buying this product again & i recommend anyone trying to lift the color out of your hair to dye it a different color- this is definitely the product to use.

If I knew this product was from your store (bought online), I would have bought it from somewhere else. The 2 snarky ladies that quipped that I had to wear a mask or could not shop there (in store) should have been the last time I attempted to shop from you.
This mistake of buying from you won’t happen again. I can get the products from other stores that respect peoples right to chose. I wonder if this will get deleted like all the other things being censored?.
Our salon-born Total Bleach Kit removes the natural pigments from your hair to give you the brightest, blondest base for any tone and color. Lifts your hair up to 7 levels in one sitting, depending on your natural color and other factors like condition and thickness.
One kit is suitable for very short, cropped hair and roots up to 1 inch long. For long roots or long hair youll need two kits. For long, thick hair, you’ll need at least three kits. Always perform a strand test and read all instructions that come with your product before use.
I received a bleach London total bleach kit from influenster in exchange for an honest review. The “total bleach” say it can lighten up to 7 levels, but i started with level 5 hair and only got to level 8 after bleaching for a full 45min and maybe not quite a level 8 but more like 7.
5. However, i was trying to do a highlighted balayage kind of look so i did not fully saturate my hair so that may have affected the results. I would not recommend this for balayage, but it could maybe work for foil highlighting.
Although i was trying to not saturate all of the hair, i did end up accidentally bleaching basically my whole head because the bleach is liquidy. I think that is probably good if you are trying to get a uniform blond however.
But even the parts of my hair that were fully saturated with. bleach did not reach a level 10, and if this could lift 7 levels as advertised i should have easily been able to go from 5 to 10. The picture on the side of the box showing the lift, however, is accurate and shows about what my hair reached, which is about 3 levels of lift in one application.
This is comparable to other company’s bleach kits i have tried, its just not as good as advertised. However, this bleach actually smells much better than other ones! Like it atil smells bad and makes my eyes water, but its a lot more tolerable than i am used to.
Also the included reincarnation mask was fantastic. My hair also is a bit dry, but is still shiny and seems to be in good shape after bleaching.
We started this bleach process on very dark hair to begin with. (Also this was the desired style my Son wanted to be different. ) We essentially were trying to lift a dark brown to almost black color to a blonde.
For the first use I found the instructions very easy to understand and the formula super easy to mix. The consistency while applying was a medium thicker texture which held to the hair very well. I started to notice lifting almost immediately which was a shock.
I also want to note the chemical smell of this kit is not as overwhelming as some others. Following the instructions and timing listed I feel the lift was decent. We achieved an golden yellow with some orange hints still undertoned.
I was overall impressed with the lift achieved on such dark hair base. I highly recommend anyone wanting a fast, nice, light lift to invest in and try these kits. I will be purchasing again to repeat for my desired lift and tones wanted.
Take into account this was after 1 kit only and look how dark the original hair was I was lifting. Not to bad for round 1 honestly. Will repeat and post updated photos as well. Stay tuned.

I’ve used manic panic dyes for years which are great so no surprise to find how great their bleach kit is. I’ve had some terrible experiences at the hairdressers and so decided to so it myself. I use 40% as my hair is very dark and I can get right down to platinum.
I got this based on multiple 5 reviews, but it doesn’t work as well as I wanted. No matter what type of bleach I use, it never, ever gets rid of the orange undertones. I also got this because they said it worked awesome on dark hair.
(I have dark blonde hair. ) I cannot get it to a platinum color, ever, no matter how many times I try. I don’t know if it’s because my hair has a natural red tint or if it just doesn’t work right. I’d recommend people that have any sort of red tint to not bleach.
L’Oreal Quick Blue Powder Bleach 1 Lb is a high performance powder bleach. It has a Dust-free, Non-Drip concentrated formula. Quick Blue delivers faster and brighter superior lightening powder with extra strength lightening action that lifts up to 7 levels.
Suited for easy on-scalp or off-scalp application. Stays moist and creamy throughout application and processing.
I think this is the BEST bleach powder on the market. It can be mixed with 20, 30, or 40 developer; whereas other bleach powders I’ve used can only be mixed with 20 or 30. I saw alot of reviews that said it was strong and would cause you to cough, but I didn’t have any of that.
It mixed very well and quickly with the developer, it wasn’t clumpy and I didn’t have to add more developer to get the consistency I wanted. Fast acting, as soon as I put it on my hair it was blonde.
Directions said wait 45 minutes, but my locs were done baking in 30 minutes. It was very easy to wash out and that was a big plus for me because I have locs. It takes some work to get all of the shampoo and conditioner out of locs so I assumed this would be the same, but no it came out pretty quickly.
this product is absolutely amazing and does an awesome job for such a cheap price! For the longest time I wanted to bleach my hair and I saw this in the beauty store and instantly grabbed it! The first time I grabbed one because I thought that would be enough for a little patch of hair but my hair being very dark I had to buy a second packet XD The results I got and how quickly it when light was almost scary at first, and surprisingly my hair took it very well and did not snap off because I coated my hair strands like to no other 🤗 Being a bleach virgin, I was terrified and had to watch multiple videos from professional hairstylist and people who are used to color their hair at home to know exactly what to do and how to do it.
Thank you Brad Mondo, thank you Gabby and thank you to all professional hairstylist out there who try to educate those who cant always afford to pay $100 per year session!! I will definitely be buying this again as I guess the phrase goes ‘once you go blonde you want to never go back…’ 😂😂😂.
There are many benefits to using box bleach for dark hair, including the fact that it can help to lighten and brighten your hair, as well as help to remove any unwanted pigment from your hair. It is also a relatively inexpensive way to achieve these results.
However, it is important to note that box bleach is a very powerful chemical and should be used with caution. If used incorrectly, it can cause serious damage to your hair. Therefore, it is important to consult with a professional hair stylist before using this product.
