A boot dryer is a device that helps to dry out wet or damp work boots. This can be a lifesaver for those who work in wet or damp conditions, as it can help to prevent the development of mold or mildew.
Boot dryers can be purchased online or at some hardware stores.
Eliminates odors caused by perspiration and bacteria. Removes contaminants like viruses and mold that can cause skin irritation and deterioration of materials. Extends the life of footwear and gear. It is ideal for all types of materials including leather, PVC, rubber, neoprene, canvas, synthetics, cloth, fleece, felt, micro and all modern fabrics.
I purchased this to replace a decades old drier that I bought at a garage sale. I use it to dry ski boots. After three years, one of the stands came away from the base. It is currently being glued back together.
Considering how heavy ski boots are and that I put them on and pull them off about 80 times a season I’m impressed how well this stands up. It is light and maybe a bit flimsy but it works well. The bit of preheat in the boots overnight make them nice to put on in the morning.
Was sceptical as to how well this boot dryer would work with no fans. I use to dry my fly fishing wading boots. Put on in afternoon, boots are pretty dry in the morning. Definitely worth the price. Note: this unit uses convection air drying so there is no fan/blower.
Use on all types of shoes, boots, gloves, hats and accessories. Anything damp, cold or musty. Great for work, hunting, sports, fishing, gardening, hiking, kids at school and play. This dryer lets warm air rise naturally inside your wet items to dry them.
Reaches those hard to get places where wet can hide. Safe, quiet, warm, even airflow reaches the toes of boots and finger tips of gloves and mittens. Removes damp, sweaty, smelly perspiration and bacteria overnight.
Safe, simple and cost-effective. Just plug it in and let the warm, dry air circulate overnight.
This boot dryer is perfect for us. My husband works out side and his boots get kinda gross after a few weeks. We usually put them on the dryer vent but this is way better and works so much faster! This dryer has extenders so you can put just about anything on there.
I’m a barber and so much hair gets in my shoes now I can wash them and they are dry before work! I’ve been able to dry a pair of shoes in less then an hr. Work boots take longer depending on how wet they are.
This also helps deodorize them which is great for stinky men’s works boots. All around we really like this boot dryer. This is gonna be perfect come winter time for gloves and snow boots!.
my family and I are enjoying this boot dryer. It has come to be one of the items we mostly use in the house no we. My husband now can wear his boots daily after working at the ship yard daily with them constantly getting wet on the inside so now by using this dryer its has made his life completely better because he hates wearing wet boots.
My kids and I also got use out of this dryer to dry off our rain boots and hats from the recent rain we had lately. The quality of the dryer is amazing and was very easy to assemble together and it heats up very fast and is very quiet so you can dry your items and still have your home peaceful.
Combining traditional convection technology with forced air to create a compact hybrid drying system, the Travel Dry DX dries footwear in less time than most other portable dryers. Travel Dry DX was developed utilizing wind science principles to blend ram-air induction with the thermal convection philosophy.
Fresh air is drawn over the thermal heating elements with a fan and gently vents warm air throughout the toe box removing wetness and warming boots or shoes in a fraction of the time. Its compact design and ability to work from your vehicle outlet make it the perfect travel accessory for any outdoors trip.
Warm your boots on the way up the mountain, dry them out on the way back! Whisper Quiet Fan for Efficient Drying Perfect for Drying and Warming Automotive or Home Drying Compact, Portable Packs Easily in Boots Will Not Damage Footwear, Boot Liners, or Foot Beds Reduces Unpleasant Odors Model 02140 Max Temp.
approximately 99? F Dry Time: 2-5 hours Dimensions – 2. 5″ W x 6. 5″ L x 2.
These were not intuitive. They do NOT seem to be warm, until you put them into the boot. The packaging says they are not for gloves. except I use them in my gloves without a problem. I got these so I could dry wet things at the office or while driving, and I really like having warm, dry gloves at my destination (or when it’s time to head home).
They are not nearly as powerful as the large plug-in floor model that I have for overnight at home use, but they have solved the problem of being stuck with a damp ride home. I am warm enough to get home and then my gloves and boots get the full dry-out at home on my large unit.
They seem to work best when they sit in the boots or gloves for at least 45 minutes, and they do not get superhot. However, since they are designed for travel use, this feels appropriate. I was very frustrated at first until I figured out that they do not work unless they are in the boots/gloves and that they won’t feel warm at first.
Keep your expectations more reasonable than mine, and you’ll be fine!.
Great little dryer that is portable. Bought it initially for trail running and snowboarding. Now I am car camping and I have it tucked away just in case I need to dry anything. Convenient with the 12v charger which is included.
1 year after purchase it is making a humming sound, but I think that is my own fault as I did not know you shouldn’t dry your gloves with them. either way, it is still just as effective and a definite must have if you don’t feel like toting around the normal boot dryer towers.
I have 2 different shoe dryers that heat up to dry shoes. If I compare those two with this dryer, I would say this one with just the fans and no heat takes too long to dry shoes. I do realize this is useful for traveling light but I think the “feet” size is too small (it fits perfectly on my 7y old shoes but it fits too loose inside the adult shoes).
I also don’t like the fact that does not have an on and off button (it’s on if it’s plugged in and to turn off you need to unplug). The instructions say do not use for drying gloves or socks but I am very tempeted to try that next.
Use on all types of shoes, boots, gloves, hats and accessories. Anything damp, cold or musty. Great for work, hunting, sports, fishing, gardening, hiking, kids at school and play. Reaches those hard to get places where wet can hide.
I absolutely love my new JobSite Mighty Dry boot dryer. Ive owned one before,(a Pete I believe) quite a while back and was really expecting it to be about the same, other than that one was for one pair whereas this one is for two.
Well theyve come a long way since then. It dries so much faster and its quieter. And the fact that you can dry 2 pairs simultaneously is fabulous. And lets not forget how awesome it is to be able to dry your gloves so quickly.
I imagine you could find another that worked equally well but not so sure about better. I also much prefer black over white. Its a no-brainer! This thing is the bomb when it comes to keeping your very active and oftentimes sloppy feet happy, happy! Ill never not have one again.
Waiting for shoes to dry for perhaps days is so out of the question. Im a very savvy shopper so just consider that I did the leg work for you and you can take a break on this one. I guarantee it!.
I received this product from the Sparks Reviewer Program for my honest opinion. Easily put together, only took a few minutes. I washed my canvas low top Levi sneakers with rubber toe then dried them using the Mighty Dry.
Took hour & half to dry. It’s quiet when in use. Has on/off timer that starts from 30 minutes & goes up to 180 minutes. Turn the knob clockwise to use the timer. Turn the knob to ON position for it to run continuously.
There’s a blue LED indicator light letting you know it’s on. Has safety features to shut off the dryer. Sturdy but I wouldn’t let young kids or large pets around it so it can be knocked over. I’ll be using the boot dryer more this coming winter.

It is completely safe to use and will not shrink, warp, or otherwise harm delicate garments and custom fit liners. The DryGuy Force Dry DX comes with a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty.
Works exceptionally for wet gloves, boots, ski boots, and hats. I haven’t had any issues with it working or getting so hot that it damages my items. Put you stuff on, plug it in, turn the dial, and walk away.
Highly recommend getting this if you are in and out a lot during the winter. I haven’t tried it for any summer items.
I was surprised that such a small unit could work so well. We got our first snow and of course the kids had to go out to play. Their boots were wet and gloves were frozen. This dryer completely dryer them.
It doesn’t get really hot so you don’t have to worry about the kids taking their stuff off of it or burning themselves by boots or gloves being to hot. The time dial is great and work well. The heat/no heat switch is also a great feature.
So far I love this dryer and wish I had bought one years ago.
The fast airflow glove and boot dryer are great to quickly warm and dry winter boots and gloves. This compact but powerful heated dryer features 4 ports and 250-watt of convection heat to dry things quickly and effectively.
Perfect for year-round use for sports equipment such as cleats, running shoes, or hiking boots. One of the best benefits of this dryer as that you will extend the life of your boots, gloves, and sports equipment by removing sweat and moisture quickly.
This prevents material breakdown. The unit features a 3-hour shut off timer and an overheat safety switch so you can set it and forget it. The 4-ports are quickly removed making for easy storage when not in use.
Living in the midwest, and my husband working around a lot of water, we needed a quality boot dryer. The reason I chose this one is 2 fold: it has 4 posts so we can dry 2 pairs of boots or boots/gloves at the same time.
In a family of 4 one at a time simply isn’t enough. I like that it has different timer settings so you can choose the length of the dry based on how wet your boots are. My husband’s boots took about 2 hours to dry on the high setting, granted they were mostly just damp from working in the yard with 2′ of mushy, melting snow.
The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is simply because it is loud. I understand a blower will make some noise but this one is louder than I expected. Otherwise I’m very happy with the performance so far.
This is great for getting those boots or sneakers dry especially deep in the shoe by the toes. Between our 4 boys and my husband this boot dryer gets a lot of use. We live in the northeast and just got this.
Between my husband working outside in the rain and snow and the kids playing in puddles and the snow we always have some one who needs this to dry their shoes gloves or both. I don’t know who we ever lived without one.
I see this being used alot in the summer as the kids love playing in puddles and creeks. I love that we can dry more than one pair at a time. We took this out of the box popped the legs on and it was ready to go.
We live in the midwest so the weather changes constantly and sometimes you get caught out in the wrong shoes. We have used this handy boot dryer way more than I anticipated – and not just for boots. My son is also an EMT and has to work in all conditions and his boots get dry so much quicker with this thing.
Powerful Forced Air – Designed to dry wet boots, shoes, gloves, hats, or garments fast with warm fan-forced air pushed through all four tubes altogether. Temperature 105 F (with heat on); Heater 250 watts Versatile Use – The four tubes are adjustable to conveniently slide up and down to fit larger items.
Extend the Life of Footwear – Keep you favorite kicks fresh. Our boot dryer quickly dries items to help lengthen their lifespan, saving you money on replacements. Set It and Forget It – Turn the boot dryer on and leave it.
The 3-hour timer will automatically turn the unit off. The optional heat switch allows you to dry delicate materials without heat. Convenient and Portable – Effortlessly pack and stow away the shoe dryer when not in use by collapsing the tubes.
A built-in cord-wrap on the back helps prevent tripping risk and store easy. The back handle grip lets you move it with one hand.
I got this product just in time since we had a snow storm last night and running into today. So far I have used it for my sneakers and my shoes but not boots since I don’t wear boots. Not only does it do an excellent job of drying sneakers and shoes when you come in from the snow but even if there was no snow, on a cold day in the winter time, warming up my sneakers or shoes before I put them on to go outside is very appealing to me.
The other good thing about this product is it is easy to store without taking up a lot of space. I would recommend it without reservation for its intended purpose.
The powerful Advantage dries most footwear in 1 to 4 hours, even heavy ski boots or skates. Best of all, it uses less electricity than a light bulb. Efficiently dries your footwear, keeping your feet comfortable, healthy and dry.
Dries two pairs of shoes, ski boots or skates at once. Quietly dries and deodorizes footwear in 1 to 4 hours with PEET’s Power fan. Uses less electricity than a standard light bulb. Choose between heated or unheated drying.
Dries leather, rubber, vinyl, neoprene, canvas, synthetics, fleece, felt, microfiber and more. Large, sturdy base. You can even set your dry time. Imported.
I absolutely love my PEET, Advantage 4-Shoe Electric Express Shoe and Boot Dryer. My job requires me to work in the rain and boots dont stay waterproof after being outside for 8 hours in the pouring rain.
My gloves get soaking wet too. I love being able to come home and put my boots and gloves on the PEET dryer. My favorite part about the dryer is the heated part. Turning the heat on makes my boots and gloves dry so much faster.
The dryer will let you put the heat on for 4 hours at a time. You can extend the time while its counting down back to 4 hours or restart it when the timer hits zero but the maximum is 4 hours. I think that the PEET, Advantage 4-Shoe Electric Express Shoe and Boot Dryer is made with quality materials and isnt very loud for a dryer with a heat blower on it.
It is very useful in my house for after work when my boots get wet. My only complaint about the dryer is that it will only let you set the timer for 4 hours and that usually isnt enough to dry my boots when theyre soaked.
I wish I could set the heater to work over night or at least for 12 hours so I dont have to constantly reset the timer to make sure my boots get dry by the time I need them again the next morning. This overall inconvenience is only enough to lower my review by 1 star but I would strongly recommend the product for anyone that works in the elements and their gloves and boots get soaked.
My boots just got soaking wet for the first time in a long time and I went to throw them on the shoe dryer. Little did I know I never turned off the shoe dryer since the last time I used it which was in February.
This shoe dryer has been continuously running for 8 months Non-Stop and is drying my boots as we speak. Phenomenal product I’m pretty sure I just have a baseline one without bells and whistles I would love to see you what they’re better products do.
Have had propane boot dryer for years wit good luck. Recently I had problems lighting it. Called Peet and they sent me a new mixing chamber with instructions on how to replace it. I communicated with Amanda and received top notch service.
The Boot Dry is a safe, silent, simple, overnight way to dry footwear. Using thermal convection, naturally rising warm air it removes dampness, perspiration and odor from all types of shoes or boots.
Using minimal wattage, the Boot Dry is a cost- effective and economically friendly tool for daily use. Because the Boot Dry dries slowly with mild heat, there’s no fear of shrinkage or stiffness and no need to remove shoes or boots promptly.
Simple, quiet, cheap, and exactly what I needed. I’m a correctional officer, and I walk all day. All my boots where so smelly from sweat and just general use. I tried powder, odor eaters, shoe balls, inserts that supposedly stop foot moisture and odor.
My neighbor told me about this boot dryer. It came to my house fast! Easy to assemble, makes you think it is cheap and doesn’t work. Didn’t know it was even on when I plugged it in. But I put my boots on it overnight and the next day my boots were dry and odor was gone! I don’t know what I would do without this dryer.
Only downfall is that it stinks when you plug it in for the first time. I assume it’s just burning off a protection coating, but there is no odor now. I’ve only had it for 6 months but works amazing still!.
I bought this Boot dryer for my fiancées Christmas gift. His job as an excavator/septic and sewer installer, guarantees that he walks through the door EVERY night, with soaking wet work boots! The first night that we used it, I would’ve sworn that it was broken/defective! I couldn’t hear/feel anything! Turns out, it’s worth it’s weight in gold! Dry boots, EVERY morning! You can’t beat the price for such a great performing product! The other 8 guys on his crew, all bought one, after he raved about his! MaxxDry Silent Boot & Shoe Dryer, means no muddy puddles to clean up; Which = HAPPY GIRLFRIENDS/WIVES!.
We were looking for 5 of these to give as Christmas gifts to families with kids who work hard and play hard. We’ve owned one for 4 years and can vouch for its silent and productive function. We were pleasantly surprised to find it here for 1/2 the price we paid for ours.
We set one up to try it out and ensure it was still the same quality – yep! A faint new plastic smell would be the only note worth making (doesn’t linger on the shoe or glove). Friends were blessed to receive it, having noticed it at our house a couple yrs earlier.
Married to a lineman with sweaty feet, and mother of 2 boys who love the outdoors, I wouldn’t want to live without it. We use ours year round.
The shoe and glove dryer dries two pairs of boots, shoes, or gloves in about 1 hour. Use the dryer to safely dry sweaty ski boots, soggy gloves, or wet football cleats. The MaxxDry utilizes forced air and heats to 105-degrees F.
(40. 5-degrees C. ) to quickly remove moisture to prevent the growth of fungus and bacteria that cause odors and deteriorates garments over time. Forced air comes from an internal fan that pushes warm air through boots, shoes, and gloves to circulate trapped moisture through and out of the garment.
The MaxxDry Heavy Duty is safe to use on shoes, boots, and gloves and will not shrink or damage custom liners or delicate items. The MaxxDry Heavy Duty includes two, removable 16-inch extension tubes to handle taller boots, and 3-hour timer that shuts the unit off automatically, and a heat/no heat switch so it can be used with or without heat.
Dimensions are 12 inches deep x 17 inches high (with extension tubes) x 15 inches wide.
Very pleased with how dry shoes were in the morning. My husband is a letter carrier and some days his shoes get completely soaked and it’s important that they are ready to go for the next day. I like that it stands up by itself so we didn’t have to fuss around installing it.
The long tubes are detachable, so if you’re not drying tall boots you can take them off and dry an extra pair of shoes or mittens.
We are definitely ordering a second one. Two things that I think are bonuses. 1) Theres an optional heat feature, so it warms the room too. 2) The timer. After a lot of research, I realized how important that was.
Were a busy family and it was one less thing I had to worry about. Wasnt sure since weve never had a boot-glove dryer. I was skeptical. My kids are 6 and 8 and will play 2-4 hours outside No Joke, Were Lucky Parents! Our rule is if the sun is shining and its warm enough, you need to be outside in the fresh air.
We always have to have 2-3 sets of snow pants, boots and gloves because even in our clothes dryer (after 60-90 minutes), the gloves are never dry to the finger tips, then they stink. Grosses me out! I love this item.
Takes awhile to dry, but we have family members that slay the local slopes all the time. Competitive skiers. They said theyve tried multiple brands. Their all similar, but the the three things the look for are timers, heat option and sturdiness.
My only criticism is sturdiness. I havent had it long enough to know how the prongs will hold up, but for half the price of other units, Im willing to order a second and learn my lesson. Im a believer in You get what you pay for, but Im also budget conscious.
I would rather have two dryers sitting around then having to round up 6 sets of snow pants, gloves and boots each year for growing kids.
My son works in construction and often comes home with wet boots, this item ensures that not only his boots are warm, dry and ready for him in an hour or less, but also his gloves. I highly recommend this item for mothers with kids who like to play in puddles or for when they grow up and work in construction.
Quickly and easily dry your soggy footwear and extend its longevity with the Field & Stream MaxxDry XL boot dryer. Whether you have boots, sneakers or cleats that need dyring, this dryer delivers a quiet and quick dry to get you back in your favorite gear.
DESIGN: Dries four items simultaneously Gentle forced thermal convection around 105°F is both safe and quiet Dries most items in about one hour Reduces odor causing bacteria, fungus and molds Lengthens the durability of footwear by eliminating odor and wear caused by everyday activities Ideal for a number of materials, including leather, PVC, rubber, neoprene, canvas, synthetics, cloth, fleece, felt, microfiber and other modern fabrics Color: White.
I have a family of 4 and ski/Snowboard 30-40 times a year. We often go back to back so we need to dry boots and gloves. I have 4 of these at the house so when the choas of my wife and two kids gets home Gloves and boots automatically go on the dryer and helmets and hats go right there on the floor to dry.
This is the best dryer I have found as many of them do not use forced warm air and only use a heating element. They have heat and no heat mode plus they have a timer system on them. Two of these I had for 3 years and this year I purchased two more to avoid having to swap out wet geat.
This worked great to dry my boots and gloves after a long day of snowboarding. My one worry is that the timer shut off might not work so I didn’t let it run during the overnight. I actually bought 2 of these and one timer worked and the other didn’t.
I have to use it more to feel more confident in it. Otherwise it was a great purchase.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend, but now we all use it! It dries out shoes in an hour (soaked boots take longer, closer to two hours). We even run it without shoes on it as an impromptu heater for the camper.
Not too loud, comparable to a small fan. Timer is great for nighttime use.
Looking for a quick way to dry your boots and gloves from the snow or rain? Simply place boots, gloves, or sneakers on the drying bars, you can turn on for the drying process to start. This convection style dryer has no fan and provides a completely quiet drying operation.
It is ideal for all types of footwear and it can be broken down to 2 removable tubes for compact storage. What’s more, the dryer can even last working for 24 hours! Don’t hesitate, come and buy, it will be your great choice.
Do not waste your money on these boot dryers. I purchased 3 of them and they never worked! No heat comes out of them and the boots remain wet after days of sitting on the dryer. Had to throw them in the garbage.
Great product for the price! Easy to put together and works perfectly. I play a lot of golf in less than good weather and my shoes are always dry and ready to go the next morning. Purchase and delivery went without a hitch!.

Our teen son runs cross-country. He comes home with muddy shoes nearly every practice and event and we have struggled with still-damp shoes when a meet is coming up. I searched for boot dryers online and found several styles, but the low price and good reviews of this caught my attention.
We tried it this weekend and it worked as we hoped! He had scrubbed his shoes under the hose, let them drain a bit outside and then brought them in and plugged in the dryer. Perfectly dry, but shoe fabric not stiff, the next morning-ready for the meet! Easy to store when not in use.
Great product, wish I thought of it two years ago :).
Perfect for dropping into soccer cleats every night. Sometimes it is just for sweaty cleats, sometimes it’s for when they are wet from rain. At first I didn’t think they were working because there is no fan or noise when you turn them on, but they seem to work great.
I do wish there was a switch on the cord to turn it off and on so I don’t have to keep unplugging it, but it’s not a big deal. I am probably going to get another set for my other son!.
I’ve used these for many years, hip wader, chest waders, upland boots. They last and last and the heat is not so intense to damage expensive products. Gr8 gift!!!!. 5 Star rating, exceptional usable product thats indispensable! Buy them!.
The Seeland Boot Dryer with UV light is designed to dry and warm damp boots, shoes or gloves. It comes supplied with a UK 3-pin plug and is attractively packaged making it a very popular gift idea. Once plugged in, the Seeland Boot Dryer begins to heat up immediately.
When placing it in a shoe, boot or glove maintain a 2cm gap from the tip of the item being warmed or dried so that the warm air can circulate. The dryer will reach its maximum temperature of 55 degrees C after about 10 minutes.
Leave the heating element in place until the boot, shoe or glove is dry or sufficiently warmed. After use, remove the plug from the mains and place the Seeland Boot Dryer on a heat resistant surface to cool.
Not had these for long so time will tell whether they last. Initial impressions are good. Be tween myself who works outside all day, my partner who runs and two boy playing in the stream we use boot dryers every week.
These feel quality. They fit in my younger boys shoes (just). They don’t over heat your shoes which is ideal for leather. we tend to put them in over night and wet boots always dry by 7am.
Is fear of getting your footwear wet running through a river crossing or torrential downpour keeping you from living an active and adventurous lifestyle? Then a DryGuy Force Dry Shoe Dryer is just what you need.
The warm air drying system allows you to dry your shoes in approximately one hour without worrying about damaging their materials. This dryer also protects against odor by eliminating the moist environment that stimulates bacteria growth.
If that wasn’t enough, the telescoping dry ports are great for drying accessories and apparel such as gloves, hats, and beanies.
This is a compact and easy to use unit. I was looking for a quick fix to day my very thick open water swim gloves as they are a bear to turn inside out. This does a pretty good job, but I think the neoprene and thickness was just too much to ask of it.
I am sending it back. Think it would be great for gloves that had a fabric exterior or item with a larger opening and circulation area. Also, perhaps the next step up in their line would work as this one did a pretty near job.
This DryGuy is a sweet-spot between ultraportability and drying time; boots and mittens are dry within an hour or two, rather than overnight, yet it’s packable in a (large) ski bag if traveling by air.
The quicker drying time is driven by an actual fan rather that convection heating, which generates a small amount of ambient noise; I don’t find it annoying, but I wouldn’t put it next to my bed. 15 minutes in the morning is all you need to add some warmth to the boot for those like me that have cold feet problems in colder conditions.
I haven’t had the product long enough to comment intelligently on its reliability, but I will say that a friend had the same dryer that we’ve used for several trips and we recently realized (after my purchase) that the heating element had failed.
DryGuy customer support wasn’t at all helpful, but admittedly it was outside of the warranty period. Even so, a product that manages to survive only through the warranty period + 1 day hardly deserves 5 stars.
Purchased this boot dryer last winter. It died after the first use, not sure why. Returned for a replacement, which I used three consecutive nights without issues. I’ll wait to see how it performs this winter before giving a final verdict.
The DRYGUY Circulators are affordable, portable dryers that move air through convection. No fan is used so moving parts are eliminated. This dryer and warmer moves air that is heated an average of 30 F resulting in a body temperature environment, ensuring that temperatures never reach above 99 F.
The design features integral molded-power cord strain relief and feet to elevate the Circulator off the boot or shoe to allow complete circulation and foot bed protection.
Packaging says “Warm your boots on the drive out”. It does a very poor job of warming boots via the DC car adapter. even after a 45 minute drive. You can hardly notice any difference in ski boot warmth.
In retrospect, this shouldn’t be a surprise since the unit puts out only a total of 13 watts of power. I returned the product after two use attempts (tested it both in the car on DC power and in the house on AC power).
The Shoe, Boot and Glove Dryer uses exclusive forced air technology to dry and warm boots, liners, shoes and gloves in about 1 to 2 hours. It works quietly to remove moisture and perspiration, which prevents odors and the growth of bacteria and mold.
The temperature reaches 105° F — warm enough to dry, without causing damage. Your footwear and gloves will feel more comfortable, smell better and last longer. Safe for hypalon, neoprene, polyester microfiber, nylon, leather, canvas, vinyl, rubber and plastics.
Simply place boots, gloves, or sneakers on the drying cylinders and turn on for the drying process to start. This convection style dryer has no fan and provides a completely quiet drying operation. It is ideal for all types of footwear including leather, canvas, vinyl, rubber and plastic and it can be broken down to 2 removable tubes for compact storage.
August 2021 still going strong! _________________________________________________ UPDATE: About 5 years later after purchasing now and it still works just as well as it did when I first bought it. ________Old review below___________________________ First of all, I should mention that I’ve only used the product a few times so far, and haven’t owned it very long, so this isn’t a very experienced review.
It worked well whenever I’ve used it. It really does a great job drying boots and shoes. All you do is place the footwear on the towers and plug it in. There is no on/off button, if its plugged in, its on.
An orange light comes on to remind you that its plugged in. This is kinda important, because the device is completely silent. There is no internal fan or anything. If simply heats up air, which also completely dehumidifies the air.
The air simply then rises up into the shoes because hot air rises naturally. The air is so crisp and dry, after a few hours, my wet shoes felt like saltine crackers. I was impressed.
I bought these dryers for my son and nephew and they have put them to GREAT use since receiving them. Both of them work outside and every time it rains, they wind up with some very wet boots. They put them on the dryers after work and next morning they have a nice warm and dry set of boots to wear.
Makes me feel very good to know they can start their day with warm, dry boots. Wish I had discovered them a long time ago. Well worth every penny spent on them.
A very good idea to use tallness to create a good convection flow without a noisy fan. You should buy a count-down timer switch to go with it. For my winter wetsuit booties, 6 hours is not enough and 8 hours is plenty.
It would shorten the life of neoprene booties to leave it on for 20 hours each time.
Never deal with frozen, soggy boots again thanks to the Lenz Space Dryer 1. 0. This dual system is silent and energy efficient, features three different programmable dry times, and protects against overheating so it doesn’t damage the material in your boots.
Plus, it features long and extra long tubes so it works on everything from ski and snowboard boots to trail runners and gloves.
