The LED light provides a bright, clean light that can be used to help illuminate the room, while the Bluetooth speaker allows you to play music or other audio through the device.
This can help to create a more relaxing and enjoyable environment while you are in the bathroom.

I have a 16 year old house and the fan was starting to rattle. I purchase the upgraded fan kit that would fit the housing already there and was a plug in model. Better fan and quieter. I then purchased this upgraded grill for it.
Took about 10 minutes for both, it is that easy. Anybody struggling with this is just using the wrong housing size. The fan is quiet and the bluetooth paired immediately. Keep in mind, the speaker is not Bose quality but you can hear your music or book just fine over the fan.
As a mom of two little ones- taking a shower is the only form of self-care I have these days! The Broan FG800SPKS has just upgraded my self-care time by 100! I can now see much better with the light (instead of relying on the ceiling light) AND, the best part, I can listen to upbeat music in the morning or relaxing music at night.
I am not kidding when I say this totally transforms my mood! It took me LESS THAN 5 MIN to change my current exhaust cover to this upgraded one- super easy. It makes my shower look and feel updated. I highly highly recommend the Broan FG800SPKS to upgrade your bathroom and showering experience!!.
It supposed to take 5 minutes, it probably does if done right or maybe not quite as long but it took me ten becuz i didnt think to install and use the fan switch for the light, i used the regular bathroom light so i was thinking it didnt work.
Lol, i need some sleep. Just wish you could control fan without unplugging it or having it on with music.

I was hoping to find out if there was an issue with the unit I have professionally installed. The specifications say it should be at. 8 sones which should be around 56 decibels. When I measured the decibels level of the fan it is reading at 66 decibels.
Unit installed by reputable company. Technician could not get the grill springs to hold the grille to the ceiling. Was warned about this “problem” prior to purchase so “Shame on me. ” Will need to spend time and effort to make it work.
Works great. Was easy to install. Quality is very high. Smooth low profile cover is much better looking than most. Nice to see a US made product instead of all the cheap imported products in this category.
Delta BreezGreenBuilder Ventilating fan/dimmable LED light with humidity sensor, has galvanized steel construction for added strength and durability. The 120-Volt ventilating fan/dimmable LED light has a current rating of 0.
33-Amp at 60-Hz. It works on brushless DC motor and offers quiet operation at less than 0. 8 sones. The brushless motor allows the fan to run in full speed mode or humidity control mode using manual switch.
In case of humidity control mode, fan runs at full speed if humidity is above the user adjustable set point whereas fan runs continuously at a pre-set lower level when humidity is below the set point.
It is integrated with 13-Watt dimmable LED light having life of 30000 Hours, color temperature of 2700K and delivers an output of 850 Lumens. This ceiling mountable fan has ABS grille measuring 10-3/4-Inch x 10-3/4-Inch, which is attached directly to housing.
It features blue and amber LED indicator lights to show humidity sensor and full speed modes. This ventilating fan measures 8-1/4-Inch x 8-Inch x 5-3/4-Inch. The ventilating fan/dimmable LED light with humidity sensor, meets cULus, Energy Star, HVI and CA Title 24 standards.
The install of the fan went smoothly. I was replacing an existing fan of the same size, and it went right into that space. The bit that confused me for a while was the mode switch. On the Humidity Sensor version, you’ve got three pairs of wires; 1) Light 2) Fan 3) Mode.
The Light circuit is simple enough, give it power, the light comes on. It is affected by nothing else. The Fan circuit, when energized, means that the fan will toggle between low and high speeds based on the humidity in the air.
Actually, it will run until the humidity falls below the set level, and then run at full-speed for an additional ten minutes. Also worth noting that the “”””””””low speed”””””””” can be 0, turning the fan off.
The Mode circuit tells the fan to run at full speed, regardless. This is useful for when you want to air out the bathroom, and I’ll just leave it at that. So to set this up the way they’d like requires three poles, which could be a three-pole switch, three individual switches, or a combination therein.
I didn’t want to use up all that space, or have tiny switches, so I wired the mode and light to the same switch, and the fan to its own switch. That when someone turns on the light (above the shower) the fan kicks into high speed, and continues to run after the shower, even with the light off, until the humidity is gone.
It took several readings of the instructions to think this might be an option, so hopefully someone else sees this and finds it helpful.
This is a tough to install without access to the attic. There are no instructions for a retrofit or installation without attic access. I had called Delta Breeze prior to purchasing to confirm it could be in stalled with my situation.
I installed in first floor laundry room of a two story home. This fan replaced an old Broan 671 which has the same housing dimensions. After using every tool known to man to remove the old fan, I expected this to slide in easy just like all the DIY video on you tube show: connect the ducting, connect the electric and then install exhaustbend first at an angle and the housing will slide in for a nice tight fit.
That didn’t work for me. After removing the fan assembly, removing the electrical wire cover and cutting off the mounting ears, I found not get the housing in. I made the opening a little larger. After struggling for a while it realized I found remove the exhaust connection and get the housing in place.
I tested first to be sure I would be able to slide the exhaust in place after the housing was mounted. Once all was in place I secured the housing to the joist. I am left with a great deal of open space in the opening.
This was installed in a bathroom of about 70 square feet. The fan is slow to get up to speed but is fairly quiet once up to speed and running. What I do not like is that if you are on the opposite end of the bathroom or away from the fan, you can see the square hole in the ceiling that hold the fan assembly behind the light shade.
There is nothing that covers that hole. The light shade hangs down several inches and allows you to see into the hole in the ceiling. If you are under the fan, it looks great but anywhere else, and you see the hole.
A screen or vent cover should be designed to cover that hole. It was installed per the instructions but looks unfinished.
The NuTone HB80RL ventilation fan with light features a square lens surrounded by a decorative white grille that coordinates with the most popular ceiling white paints. With the standard E26 light socket, consumers are given the flexibility to choose an A19 bulb that works best for the room and lighting preference.
With a powerful CFM of 80, the fan effectively clears the air of humidity, odor and airborne particulates and helps prevent mold and mildew.
Installed in place of existing fan. Have to screw to joists leaving no option to orient fan 180 degrees if hole already exist. Hanger bars would alleviate this issue. Could orient fan between joists, not next to them.
Would not buy this fan again just because broan makes you buy a snobby priced fan just to fet 50 cents worth of mounting tabs to use with hanger bars in nicer models. So frustrating!.
Had to remove an older exhaust fan, which was no picnic. Installation of this new one was far easier and looks much nicer. Warning: removal of old units is not an easy job, prepare for the worst and hope for something better.
I did not have to go back into the attic to install this new one, all was done inside the bathroom reaching into the ceiling. Think ahead and it can be done. The fan itself is quiet, almost and pleasantly too quiet and it works GREAT! Removes steam almost as fast as a hot shower can produce it.
Great, basic exhaust fan. We installed this fan in our master shower (replacing a recessed lighting fixture). This is more practical for us – we have light and now coupled with an exhaust fan to get all the humidity out of the bathroom.
Wish we’d done this sooner – we’ve lived in our home for 20 years. The perfect purchase for us.

Designed for retrofit, remodel and replacement, this fan features hassle-free installation from the room side, for spaces with no attic access. The SnapFit Flange Kit provides a self-trimming finish to cover a rough cut. This item is UL listed for use over bathtubs or showers when connected to GFCI-protected branch circuit (not included). UL listed for use in insulated ceilings (type I.
C. ) and HVI-2100 certified for safety. Housing dimensions measure 9. 25″ x 10″ x 5. 75″.
Works well, is reasonably quiet and the light is dimmable, although this is not stated in the information posted on-line with the unit. The installation instructions are very poor, and the wire attachments for mounting the plastic cover on the last step are a terrible design that should be corrected.

We have a small bathroom (5’x8′) with a window, so code said we didn’t need a celine fan. I wanted one as hot showers would often make the walls sweat and we had some minor moisture issues. I wanted a very quiet fan as I hate loud fan noise.
I chose this fan due to the low sound rating. Our electrician installed the fan/light on the main switch. When switched on the fan starts out low then comes up to speed. It helps with the noise as it may seem jarring to come on full blast immediately.
We really love the fan and light. It doesn’t over-power our small bathroom. I would recommend this unit in a small bathroom or a water closet.
Definitely not 0. 7 Sones, may be 4 or 5 Sones. I have previously installed 2 from different vendors at my previous house, and both barely could be heard when running, wanted to give a try to Delta. Delta definitely failed to meet expectation.
Since I have already installed it, I won’t return it but, in the near future I will replace it with other brand that I had installed two in my previous house and was happy with them.
The product was fairly easy to install. I would recommend that you make sure that you have a nearby support for it, if it smaller than the fan housing you are taking out (that was my experience). But the fan is very quiet, but still moves the air quite nicely.
It takes a couple of seconds to reach full speed, which is kind of nice. The LED light is quite pleasant, and much less expensive to operate than an incandescent bulb. The instructions are quite clear.
I would recommend that you look at your existing wires before installing. I had to reverse the colors, in order to get the fan and light switches to work as they had before (that may be because the original fan was installed differently).
The most difficult part of the installation was getting all of the wires to fit into the wire box, which is quite compact. However, cutting the wires a little bit shorter would have made the process easier.
All in all, a nice looking, modern, quiet, energy-efficient upgrade for our old-school loud incandescent fan-light combo!.
Upgrade your existing bathroom decor with a functional and stylish solution with the Air King Deluxe Rectangular Bath Fan with Light and Night Light. This bath fan/light combo disperses light throughout the entire room and can be easily installed with adjustable hanging brackets.
It’s ideal for installation over a tub or shower and thanks to its 4-inch plastic damper, it’s protected against backdrafts and ensures relatively quiet operation. Best of all, all functions can be wired to operate seperately! Step your bathroom decor game up with this exhaust fan/light combo from Air King.
I have this fan for at least 5 years. Yes it’s true it’s very silent. I was even wonder if it’s was working! The one thing is that it’s very hard to clean the fan inside because of the light Not to happy about that.
Unit was installed in 3/4 bath (approximately 400 cubic feet) that was added to a finished house. Vent is adequate for the small space and works well and is quiet. Installation was straight forward. Four inch vent was easy to vent outside and wiring was roughed in during construction with separate switches for fan, main light and night light.
Only difficulty was getting the grill/lens to fit into unit. Had to bend the wire tips holding the grille to the unit which would not hold when you first hooked the grill to the unit and pushed it up into place.
After pushing up, to the ceiling, grill holds well and looks nice. A little concerned that the grill could fall when removing to change bulbs. Only disappointment has been the night light which (in my case) needs to have a little more light output than any bulb that I have found so far that fits.
This is a decent fan – I chose it to replace an existing fan of the same model – for some reason, this is the only fan that has these measurements, and I do not have the skills or tools to install a different sized fan.
Build. com was an excellent provider – they had the product in stock and delivered it quickly.

May be wired for simultaneous or separate fan light operation providing you the choice of fan, light, or both.
I purchased this item on my own with no compensation for this review. Please click on Helpful at the bottom of this review if what I wrote is useful to you. This is a classic bathroom fan. It’s purposely not super quiet, rated at 4.
0 Sones, which many prefer to complete silence when using the bathroom. Over time, it will get louder and rattle and need to be replaced, but that will take a number of years, and the replacement cost is not unreasonable.
I recommend that you get one of the very bright LEDs for the bulb. You can get some that are 1,680 lumens, which is even brighter than a typical 100 watt bulb but uses only 23 watts, so it’s within the specs of safety for the unit.
This will allow the unit to be your primary light in the bathroom.
I gave it 5 stars because it was a nice looking fan. Unfortunately, I would have had to cut some joists on the bathroom ceiling to make it fit. That was my stupidity for not measuring the part of the fan that fits in the ceiling.
It was the same outside size as my current fan, infact they are exactly alike brand and looks. I had to return it.
This was a perfect replacement for one that was in an older house we purchased. The house is 40 years old and the fan needed to be replaced. Home Essentials Direct was the only place I could find it.
The fan itself works well but is too loud at 4 sones but its the only one that was an exact fit to what was there. Simple operation. This replaced the similar model with heat and light. Have no idea why someone would not have a vented fan in the bathroom.
Broan-NuTone 668RP Fan and Light, 70 CFM 4. 0 Sones.
Upgrade the style of your bathroom or powder room with this elegant and modern decorative ventilation fan from Broan. Designed for a 75 sq. ft room this bath fan comes included with two easy to change trim kits to match any d茅cor (brushed nickel or brushed bronze) and sturdy key-holed mounting brackets for quick and accurate installation.
This decorative bathroom 80 CFM exhaust fan provides powerfully efficient ventilation and works quietly to keep your space free from odor and humidity.
I bought this and was taking off the glass to clean it and one of the brackets that hold the glass broke. Cannot order just the brackets, this is why you have so many missing pieces as now I am going to the store and buy a new one and take the brackets out of it! Then return it saying all the parts were not there.
We had this installed by an electrician about four months ago, along with two other (different model) fans (that both still work great). The light started flickering and became a constant strobe. It’s too late to return it, and frankly I don’t want to deal with taking it out.
I watched the final stages of a beetle’s life through the shaded glass. Overall, looks good, but glitchy.
The Homewerks ventilation fan features an integrated Bluetooth-enabled stereo speaker and an LED light. Perfect for the tech-savvy homeowner with a desire to stream audio from their smartphone or tablets into their bathroom.
Since the Bluetooth stereo speakers are integrated directly into the bath fan wiring, there is no need to re-charge the speaker. It also includes an LED white light, a blue night light and a soothing amber nightlight.
Amazing is this new light / fan this is more than a regular light is a fun light love it is everything in one chance color Bluetooth speaker and is amazing taking a shower with music perfect love the way you can pick the color that you want.
The white light is bright/ orange is soft and the blue make you feel that you’re inside the disco party a little bite pricey but 100 worthy .
Product works as advertised. Only issue is the connecting hardware is limited. If your fan/ light is in the middle of a sequence, the are not enough spaces in the wire harness; so you will have to splice in as pigtail.
Not a big issue, but a larger splicing block would be nice. Overall very happy.
For brilliant audio performance concealed in your bath fan, use the Bluetooth-enabled Broan 80 CFM Exhaust Bath Fan equipped with a high-fidelity Sensonic speaker. While wireless speakers clutter counter space, this fixture fills the room with rich sound from overhead.
Relax in your own space and enjoy music and news from a smart device with no required application thanks to the fixture’s Bluetooth functionality. Operating quietly at 2. 5 sones to keep background noise minimized, this bath fan is perfect for anyone who likes to sing in the shower.
The instruction are not the greatest to follow but I was able to eventually figure it out. It watched videos of others installing everything so it made it easier to follow what needed to be done. The piece the goes into the ceiling is heavy and made well.
The lift fixture is brighter than what I thought it would be. I have 2 switches that were initially installed in our home so I can operate the light and fan separately. I wasn’t sure at first how to set up the speaker to play music so I watched a video that had great step by step instructions.
I had to make sure the Bluetooth was on for the phone. The switch needs to be on for the speaker. The Bluetooth on the phone listed the speaker so I had to click on it for it to pair and connect. After I connected the Bluetooth I opened up one of my music apps to play music from the phone to the speaker.
The speaker is not a high end one but is sufficient for the purpose of listening to music while getting ready for the day. This is a nice feature along with the light. My old one only had the fan feature and separate light fixtures installed.
Now we have more light and music to listen to as an addition to our daily activities.
I am so glad that I got this ventilation fan! It’s so easy to install and set up- and then using it is a breeze! Its strong and made very well, I don’t have that thick steam building up in the shower and throughout the bathroom anymore, which is nice.
I love that I can play music or listen to an audiobook while I’m in the shower. This ventilation fan makes the whole shower much more enjoyable. It keeps moisture to a minimum, not only inside but outside the shower, as well.
I would highly recommend grabbing one and checking it out.
Recently tried this product out and I must say I am a proud owner! This bathroom exhaust has a nice modern look to it and is not only an exhaust but it also features Bluetooth capability that even allows you to listen to music in the comfort of your own bathroom! It also has a light, which provides a great amount of even lighting in the room.
I found this product to be relatively simple to install and to get going, and I also found it to not be super loud, which is definitely a plus! Overall, this is a product I would definitely recommend!.
Home Netwerks Worldwide ventilation fan with an integrated Bluetooth-enabled speaker and LED light. Perfect for the Tech-savvy homeowner with a desire to stream audio from their Smartphone or tablets into their bathroom.
Since the Bluetooth speaker is integrated directly into the bath fan wiring there is no need to re-charge the speaker.

This cover is designed with fewer vent slots, allowing it to stay clean longer. It has a crisp, bright white finish to match today’s popular white ceiling paint. Installation can be completed in 5 minutes or less thanks to a quick-connect plug.
No wiring. No ceiling patching or cutting is required. This is the perfect project for DIY’ers who want to improve the look of their bathroom.
We installed this after receiving one for testing and review. The installation was very simple and straight forward, in fact the installation process took less than 5 minutes. The directions were very straight forward and easy to understand with one exception.
Step 4 shows and states “connect the motor into cover plug”. However, if you have two wall switches installed – one for fan and one for light, if you follow the directions then the fan and light come on at the same time.
For two wall switches, the motor plug (black color) should remain plugged where it was originally and the new cover plug (white color) should be plugged there the light kit was plugged originally. All in all, pretty simple but might suggest adding additional detail to installation directions.
Like others said, it would be nice if the color option chosen would remain instead of defaulting to white when disconnected from the app. Still a great LED light option that I would recommend. As for the ability to play music, this is a great feature for bath time! Connecting to the app was quick with no problems experienced.
Just got my new cover. Got it installed today. Took reading and reviewing the video several times to get it installed, but afterwards looking back it was quite simple. Only problem I see that would make it awesome is to have a way to cut the fan off.
Because when your playing music, With the fan on you have to turn the volume up to hear the sound then you start to get static when the volume is to loud. The speaker could be better It would also be great to just use the light as a night light and not have the fan on.
My bathroom fan/light is a 763n fan. I could just unplug the fan inside of the vent so I could use the lights and speaker but that defeat the use it was intended for. the light and colors are great the cover looks well made.
If you could turn the fan off so you could use speakers and just the lights you would have a great product. Having the fan on is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
I received my cover just two days ago. Installation was quick and easy. The new cover worked perfectly with my existing ceiling opening. The instructions for selecting and changing the LED light color scene among the multiple color scenes options (including customizing the color choices and scenes) were very helpful.
The Sensonic Bluetooth speaker has good sound quality and versatility, allowing multiple media source entertainment (music, podcast, etc. ) via the various apps (Pandora, Apple music, Spotify, U-tube, etc.
) sourced though a typical cell phone. At first, I had trouble figuring out how to adjust the volume, but I was relieved and very pleased when I discovered that the volume control is adjusted under Settings (sub menu Sound) on the cell phone.
The Builder’s Choice for Green Construction, this fan has been given the ENERGY STAR Most Efficient award. It features an airflow rating of 70 CFM and a 1. 0 Sone loudness rating at 0. 1 static pressure as certified by the HVI (Home Ventilating Institute).
HVI-Certification promises our fans are independently tested and rated to ensure they deliver on promised performance. It boasts an innovative brushless DC motor designed for long life, low noise, and low power consumption, consuming only 8.
4-Watt with an efficiency rating of 8. 3 CFM/Watt. It is designed for continuous running for a minimum of 70,000 hours. It is UL and cUL listed for tub/shower enclosure when used with GFCI-protected branch circuit wiring.
Soft Start technology softly and quietly ramps the Brushless DC motor to top speed reducing bearing wear and prolonging fan life. The built-in Bluetooth Stereo Speaker easily pairs with most Bluetooth wireless devices, and enables you to enjoy your favorite music, or hear real-time news, weather, traffic or sports.
I found my old fan in very bad shape when I took it out. The new fan needed an exhaust vent reducer to fit my existing 3” vent work and I had to make my own mounting screw holes to mount the fan from under it without attic access.
I only had one electrical connection to my fan, but wanted a switch for the Bluetooth speaker and a switch for the fan, so I installed a junction box above the ceiling with an outlet from the existing wiring.
Then I connected the Bluetooth directly to one plug in the new outlet and I added a wireless remote power switch to the other plugin in the outlet and connected the fan wiring to the wireless power box plugged into the outlet.
I installed the wireless power switch on the wall next to my other power switch. When I turn on my wired power switch, it supplies power to the Bluetooth and wireless power plugin. When I push the button on my wireless switch, it turns on the fan, the fan is very quiet and moves a lot of air.
The mirror hardly fogs at all with the delta breeze, but my bathroom is very small at 5’x6’. Sound is not bad and the volume is fine. I find I don’t need to turn up the volume all the way on my phone to enjoy enough sound during a shower and I even turn it down when the shower is not in use.
Over all it is a great fan that works as intended and fit perfectly into my small existing fan space. I had no problems with it and would recommend the delta breeze Bluetooth bath fan.
Second time that I’ve purchased this bluethooth speker. I absolutely LOVED the first one and had exceptional sound quality however this one appeared not to be the same, I’m highy disappointed! Wish I could have sent it back however, my contractor had already installed it! This buy was a MOJOR disappointment!!!!! Not worth the money or time to install!.
This is a great replacement for the jet-engine-noise level, builder grade fans in our bathrooms. I shopped for one this size since it was very close to the opening we already had (needed to trim about 1/8” drywall).
Is it silent? Well, it’s certainly quieter than the old fan be a good measure, but no – it’s definitely not silent. Anyone saying that they had to do the tissue test to see if it was working needs to have their hearing checked (and this is coming from someone who needs hearing aids).
The Bluetooth is a nice addition, although you really can’t expect this to rival a serious ceiling speaker. So, as long as you adjust your expectations accordingly, it’s great to have a little music going.
One little thing that I haven’t figured out yet is how to rename the Bluetooth speakers to differentiate them from the other bathrooms. We bought 2 of these, and the installation was relatively easy.
However, if you’re uncomfortable with electrical work, just hire someone to do it for you. The fist one took me about 4 hours (mostly learning curve). The second one took about an hour (including the time to run around the house getting duct tape, or a screwdriver, or some other thing that I forgot).
I plan to buy three more of these, but will want something considerably nicer and mire powerful for the master bathroom.
The sleek design of this Homewerks exhaust fan with LED light looks great throughout the home. The modern style of this ventilation fan is designed to look like a decorative light. The integrated, long lasting LED light has a 30,000 hour LED life span and a 4000K CCT cool white color temperature with 1000 lumens, providing the ideal brightness for any room.
This bathroom exhaust fan with light can also be dimmed when connected to a dimmer switch. The exhaust fan provides a powerful 80 CFM airflow for a healthier home and works best in rooms up to 80 square feet.
At a quiet 1. 1 sones, this bathroom fan is the same sound level as a whisper. The standard fan housing makes installation easier since no cutting or attic access is required. Not just limited to a bathroom, this ventilation fan can be installed in a laundry room, exercise room, or anywhere in the home where humid air needs to be exhausted.
Brighten up your home with this 80 CFM dimmable LED exhaust fan from Homewerks.
Homewerks 80 CFM 1. 1 Sone Bathroom Ventilation Exhaust Fan with Dimmable LED Light This Homewerks Bathroom Fan with LED Lights is exactly what we were hoping it would be. When we moved into our new home, it had two bathrooms.
Neither of the bathrooms had exhaust fans — and for a number of years, that was the way we left it. I had no idea how much of a difference it would make – in terms of mold and odors! – to install a fan.
The bathroom already had a window and I thought that was enough until we got this new exhaust ventilation system, which is far better and clears the steam from the bathroom with ease. This new fan has made SUCH an improvement – not only in the air flow, but in the lighting.
I like a really BRIGHT bathroom, and the LED lights have helped tremendously with that. Our bathroom is fairly small, so perhaps the difference would not be so dramatic in a larger space. In our bathroom, the change is quite noticeable and welcome.
This is a ceiling mount exhaust fan and light – which is likely what you were expecting, given that most lights are installed in the ceiling (although not all are). The fan is powerful and effective without being noisy at all.
I was quite surprised how relatively silent it is — not like the old, loud bathroom fans I remember from my youth. The color of the fan and light fixture is white, which fits with many ceilings – and works great with ours.
My husband installed the fan and light easily in an existing hole in our ceiling which had formerly housed an old (broken) fan which was unusable. It was easy to install and he had no difficulties getting it up and running.
I would recommend this bathroom fan and lighting ensemble. We’ve been pleased with it thus far.
I received this bathroom fan/light just in time for my old one (without a light) turned on for the last time. I say it was Perfect timing of arrival. We did have to add a 2×4 board up in the area to attach the new fan to hold it into place.
But that did not take long to do. The new fan pulls all the steam out of the bathroom with ease and gives it such a better airflow in the Bathroom, and the new light brightens up the whole room with the LED lights.
This Homewerks 80 CFM 1. 1 Sone Bathroom Ventilation Exhaust Fan with Dimmable LED Light has changed everything in that bathroom for the good. Now I need to get one for the other bathroom now that I know what I was missing.
Depending on what type of fan you have in at the time that you are installing this fan will depend on on how much you will have to do to install this one. But no matter what this fixture will be fairly easy to install, or at least it was for me.
I am late writing this because I had to wait on the electrician. He was a week behind but charged me $172. 47 includes my senior citizen discount. Took him 1 hour to install. Had to pay him from his company to my home then putting in the ventilation.
All hooked up and I cannot notice any difference between this one and the previous. This system is a little more noisey but does and did a good job in removing the odors in the half-bath. Glad I changed the old one out.
Would give as a gift to a friend, family member, or a neighbor. Gave it 3 stars because I could not tell a difference in this one and the one that was taken out after 30 years of use. I hope this one will last that long when I no longer live here.
The Delta Breez VFB25ADBT 110 CFM fan features a bluetooth Stereo Speaker that enables you to enjoy your favorite music, or hear real-time news, weather, traffic, or sports. Additionally, it boasts an innovative DC brushless motor designed for long life, low noise, and low power consumption.
It has been awarded an ENERGY STAR rating, and is HVI, UL, and cUL certified. It can be used to comply with ASHRAE 62. 2 (local and whole building intermittent operation). Color: White.
The fan really isn’t as quiet as the advertisement makes out. I’ve installed several new quiet bathroom fans and this one is the same noise level as the others. I did initially install the fan with a 4” to 3” reducer to match my existing ducting.
Afterwards, I noticed a comment in the instructions that if the fan was too loud it may because of the reducer. So back into the attic I went and installed a 4” duct. It actually made the fan louder, but at the same time, it now completely clears the bathroom condensation unlike with the 3” duct.
The only other complaint besides the false advertising of how quiet the unit is, is the vent flapper rattles slightly. The humidity sensing does work nice, but it will turn on if it’s raining outside.
Overall, this is a nice unit that works as advertised. I do wish it really was so quiet that you had to have a light to tell it’s on, but alas, that’s not quite true.
Bought this fan at more than double the price if a standard bath exhaust fan. Installed it in a new basement bathroom and now it makes the most obnoxious grinding/humming noise. It’s probably been turned on/off a total of 30 times at this point.
It was left on overnight by a guest on accident. Now the fan seems to be broken. After turning it on now , once is been on for 15s it starts rattling and squeaking. Seems like the bearing went out somehow.
The fan was covered during construction with plastic to keep dust out. Pretty disappointed such a high end fan failed before we even really used it.
I really wanted to like this fan. I actually love the blue light as it adds a very small amount of light for late night visits to the bathroom without turning on an overly bright light. Yes, this fan is horrible to install and you must have access from above to do it properly.
The larger issue is this fan does NOT turn off as advertised once the RH drops below 60%. My home is typically around 52% relative humidity and sometimes drops as low as 48%. yet these fans continue to run at a low speed.
sucking all heat (or AC in summer) right out of the house. This negates any ‘cost savings’ regarding the green/efficient fan. If you’re considering this fan for it’s 60% auto shut off feature. don’t waste your time.
Get an adjustable RH model and save yourself the headache of a difficult installation with this model. I’ve replaced two of these models (neither worked as indicated) with adjustable RH models and am quite happy now.
The Delta Breez Integrity ITG80, 80 CFM exhaust bath fan, is perfect choice for small to medium-sized bathrooms. Features built in dimmable LED light, powerful air flow, low noise and energy efficient.
Air flow at 80 CFM for spaces up to 80 sq ft. Quiet operation at 1. 3 Sones. Features DC brushless fan motor for extended reliability. HVI certified. UL approved for ceiling mount.
I just finished installing this Delta Breeze ITG80LED in our water closet. This unit replaced a 20 year old Broan unit which sounded just short of a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Installation was straight forward.
I did have attic access, so I could install from up top. Wiring was no issue and air outlet install was easy. I did use Aluminum tape on the joints at each end of the air vent to ensure a good seal. This thing is quiet and great bright light.
Not TOTALLY quiet, but I can still hear the TV in the next room. I had to check with a piece of toilet paper it was working as well as it should, as it was so quiet. I also turned on before putting vent pipe on to ensure proper air flow.
The light was bright and on instantly. No one should have second thoughts about buying this as it is great. I did not know bathroom fans could be so quiet with a good light. I also just bought the 80/110 CFM version for in the shower area as we like this one so much.
This unit replaced an older light fixture. The measurements for the cut-out and installation instructions were quite easy and the unit went in with little difficulty. The motor is quiet and the light is adequate.

We just love this bathroom light fan combo. what would have made it perfect would have been to have pre-installed from the factory a light sensor switch to control the night light. But we added our own seperate sensor to make it awesome.
Fan is nice and quiet when its running which is another big plus.
We bought this fan to replace another one that was 70 cfms to get better power. The suction coming out of the fan travels only two and a half feet up through the roof to the outside. It blows air outside but somehow doesn’t get rid of all the humidity.
The bathroom is not that large-about eight by nine feet. Very occasionally most of the steam is gone in less than five minutes. but only if the entry door is open at least a foot (there is another door that stays open to the bedroom).
To us, it doesn’t have the power of 110 cfms any more than the one we removed. It IS easier to clean and lights up the bathroom well enough, though.
Placed unit in main bathroom with tub/shower combo. We always have had too much condensation on walls after a shower, but with this light/fan combo at 110 cfm, that problem is now gone. Plus it is an atractive light that does not reveal that it is also a fan, except for the sound when running.
One caveat: it only supports two of the smaller style bulbs, which do not really give off much light by them selves. We already had overhead bright “makeup” suitable lights above each mirror, so no problem for us.
You WILL need other lighting in the room with this unit, it just cant put out that much luminosity with the small bulbs and the shade made of white glass.

Aero Pure bathroom ventilation and lighting solutions- Style. Performance. Energy Efficiency.
This is a terrible disappointment. It looks so inexpensive, junky. and clunky. i feel stuck with it since I’ll have to pay the electrician to come back out to change it! I really could not like this any less.
It is also NOT bright white as it appears here. If you are looking for a modern, clean, streamline look, please do not buy this one. You will be disappointed also.
The exhaust fan prevents mold, bacteria, and fungi growth on surfaces in your bathroom or other humidity prone environment. Surfaceshield technology combined with powerful ventilation offers effective protection against bacteria, mold and fungi growth in your home.
Offering a super-quiet sound rating of 1. 0 sone, the surface shield 110 CFM exhaust bath fan generates powerful air circulation with minimal background noise. There are two lighting modes in the surface shield led light, an everyday white light perfect for task lighting and the surface shield continuous antimicrobial mode.
the fan offers an Ezduct connector for hassle-free room-side installation with no attic access needed. With the addition of the Ezduct connector, other new additions have been added including foldable mounting ears, a new damper and housing technology that improves airtightness like never before.
This bath fan includes soft white led lighting for energy savings and a grille that compliments any decor.
I had to cut a bigger hole to get the old nutone “developer model for $25” fan out creating more work than needed as I had to replaster/repaint ceiling. The installation of the new fan was easy and straightforward.
The fan looks great with the slim profile although the little holes on the side of the unit makes it hard to see if it needs cleaning. The fan pulls in waaaayyy more moisted than my old 25 cfm fan. The light is great and the ultraviolet I barely use and the efficacy is questionable.
I say just turn on the fan to get all the moisture out and you don’t need to worry about mold and mildew. Overall satisfied with this fan and would buy another one! My recommended tool/parts list for replacing an old ceiling fan: 1.
Dewalt multitool to cut ceiling 2. A good crowbar for prying out the old bathroom fan housing 3. 90 degree angle screwdriver attachment with philips driver bit 4. Duct tape 5. This fan of course 6. Wire connectors with flip switches – make sure UL certified.
Much better than twist wire nuts as they are more secure.
I was expecting a relatively quick install but it ended up taking me 4. 5 hours. This was largely due to the fact the the screws holding the old exhaust in place were all stripped and there was very little room to operate.
Thankfully I was able to cut some metal out with my Dremel and then cut the screws to extract the old fan, just be careful you don’t start a fire. This unit is advertised as no attic access required and I was able to install it in this manner.
You must understand that it does not come with screws to secure it against the joist so you must provide those. There are 3-4 indentations on the inside of the metal box and you screw through those to secure it against the joist.
You will also need to provide a grommet and flex tape. Finally, make sure you have wire nuts or connectors as these are not included either. For the price of the unit, these three items should have been supplied.
(Note: It is a 4 inch exhaust, if you have a 3″ exhaust, you need an adapter) With the old unit out, putting this in took a little over an hour and half of that time was spent trying to get the springs holding the cover mounted to the frame.
This part was a PITA and the instructions were not clear at all. What finally worked for me is to put a spring in without attaching it to the cover so I could see how it secures. I then took it off, put it back on the cover and mounted it.
You need to watch that you don’t break the cover when attaching the LED light as it is very thin and I fear it would break easily. I am disappointed it was not a stronger material as it feels like they went cheap on this despite it being an expensive product.
OK, now to the light. The germ killing properties are through a partnership with Vital Vio. You can find some information on the Vital Vio website. I am slightly disappointed in how they portray UV light in their technical publications.
When you read their papers, the UV spectrum is listed at 100nm – 380nm, the problem is that is not correct. UV light is commonly accepted as 100nm – 400nm. It is true that some visible light is contained in the 380nm – 400nm range but it is still in the UV range.
Now that we have the range issue out of the way, lets talk UV-A. You are probably most familiar with UV-A as black light. It has several uses from medical to entertainment. It is generally seen as safe unless it is higher power (or overly long exposure).
The black light spectrum is 320nm – 400nm. From what technical details I can find, I believe this exhaust is operating at approximately 405nm. There are papers out there (please Google and read up) that show light operating at 405nm does kill germs to some degree and is viewed as safe enough to be continuously used.
So I do think there may be some benefit to the light. From a ceiling to floor you are typically at eight to nine feet. The manual says it works best within five feet of the unit. It is not a high power light, so its not going to kill everything and reach everywhere in your bathroom but should help to provide some level of protection with regular cleaning and disinfecting.
I think this is generally safe to be in the bathroom with the light set in the germ mode. I do encourage everyone to do their own research so you are comfortable with safety aspect of it.
I purchased this to get rid of the much louder exhaust fan we had in our master bathroom. With Covid going on – the germ-killing ‘SurfaceSheild’ component seemed like a good addition so I went for it.
Pros: – The light is pretty cool. When it is very dark out, it can be a little intense but does a great job during the night providing enough light to relieve yourself, without having to turn on anything bright.
– The fan is quiet and powerful. There are 3 settings, I had mine on the middle. Sound is about 1 sone, and is not jarring, which is nice. Especially when you turn it on initially. – Does a great job removing the moisture while showering.
Does what it should. Cons: – A bit pricey, if you don’t want the SurfaceShield you can get something comparable for much less, it seems. – Couldn’t install it myself. I think any Vent fan would have been an issue – mounting brackets and previous install made it really hard to do myself.
I’d recommend you’d consider this before you purchase any fan – and line that up (unless it is a new install). Overall – happy with the purchase.
The bathroom exhaust fan with led light and bluetooth speaker is a great way to keep your bathroom smelling fresh and free of any unwanted odors. The fan will also help to circulate the air in the room and keep it from becoming too stuffy.
The led light will provide you with a bright, natural light to help you see while you are in the bathroom. The bluetooth speaker will allow you to listen to your favorite music while you are in the bathroom.
