An assault rifle is a type of firearm that is designed for rapid fire and close quarters combat. The term “assault rifle” is a misnomer, as these weapons are not typically used by military forces for assaulting enemy positions.
Instead, assault rifles are typically used by law enforcement and military personnel for close quarters combat and self-defense.
The most popular assault rifle in the Mass Effect universe is the M-8 Avenger. The M-8 Avenger is a fully automatic rifle that fires high-velocity rounds. It has a high rate of fire and is effective against both organic and synthetic targets.
The M-8 Avenger is the standard assault rifle used by the Alliance military and is also available for purchase by civilians.
The M-8 Avenger is not the only assault rifle available in Mass Effect Andromeda. There are also a number of other assault rifles that can be acquired and used by the player character. These include the M-96 Mattock, the Geth Pulse Rifle, and the Scorpion.

1. Chaos Space Marines: Terminators
CHAOS SPACE MARINE TERMINATORS Chaos Terminators are veterans heavily protected by their Dreadnought Armor Tactiqur profaned.
Their helmets have become bestial masks with sharp tusks and horns, which often become one with the wearer’s face.
Chaos Terminators are excellent fighters to do anything.
Chaos Terminators are heavily armoured veterans clad in debased suits of Tactical Dreadnought armour. They form the elite of their masters’ warbands, for though they are ponderous compared to their power armour-clad comrades, nothing short of a dedicated anti-tank laser can stop a Terminator in full stride.
Spiked trophy racks protrude from massive shoulders, the skulls of the enemy a barbaric testament to their wearer’s martial prowess. Helmets have grown into bestial masks that sprout great tusks and razored horns, many of which have fused directly into the skulls of their wearers.
Chaos Terminators are excellent all-round fighters. Not only does their Terminator armour lend them superior survivability to other Chaos Space Marine units, but their towering size and grisly trophy racks really sets them apart on the battlefield.
Terminators will probably always be a great unit, and one of my favorite to paint. While pricy, you’ll end up with a bunch of extra bits for kitbashing or decking out other units. Terminators can be a good fit in all but the most speed-focused armies, and even then, being able to teleport in can let them start in a relevant position.
A very limited number of options and almost no room for conversions in this nearly monopose kit. If you have more than one squad in your army you will get some very similar looking models without significant work.
The quality of the miniatures is great and they look very dynamic. However they do have some challenging mould lines to get rid of so you will need to take your time with this kit.
The Space Marine Venerable Dreadnought is a gigantic machine that will tower over men on the battlefield. They are equipped with powerful weaponry that is lethal in a close assault. A contradiction, the Dreadnought is a figure of wisdom in times of peace and a lethal killing machine on the battlefield in the height of war.
The relics are manned by interned Space Marines, who are preserved within the Dreadnought following fatal wounds during battle. This set contains one multi-part plastic Venerable Dreadnought in this 84 piece set.
It includes; a plasma cannon, lascannon, a heavy flamer, a storm bolter, two different power fists and a set of smoke launchers. Also included are two different sets of ornate leg guards, three different helmets, six purity seals, two different pennants, a range of different sarcophagus armour plates, several sarcophagus designs, and a host of Crux Terminatus and other Imperial icons.
WARNING. This set is recommended for ages 12 and above. It is not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts and the pointed components.
I like this model, but I do think it should come with the banner from the Ironclad Dreadnought kit. Otherwise it is very venerable with a good number of options – the sad part is that you only can choose so many.
So gotta buy more to flesh out the awesome variety.
Scout squads are the vanguard of a Space Marine army. Infiltrating behind enemy lines they sow disruption and secure vital strongpoints. Only once a Scout has proven his courage and skill at arms in a Chapter’s Scout Company is he elevated to the rank of battle brother, and inducted into one of the Chapter’s Battle Companies.
Cerastus Knights are employed as weapons of extermination, designed to inspire fear in their foes. Nothing will sway their attack until the enemy is utterly crushed, never to rise again from the flame-scoured ruins of their strongholds.
This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble 2 Cerastus Knights for use in games of Adeptus Titanicus. Each of these machines is armed with a Cerastus shock lance and an ion gauntlet shield.
These are highly detailed Adeptus Titanicus-scaled miniatures are every bit as impressive to behold as their larger brethren included are 6 heads of 3 different designs, allowing you to add some variety to your Cerastus Knight banners.
This kit comes as 58 components and is supplied with 2 Citadel 50mm Round bases along with a Cerastus decal sheet that features heraldry for Houses Makabius, Vyronii, Malinax and Coldshroud. Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly may be required.
Possibly the best kit that GW has ever released. Tons of detail and opportunity for freehand. Much easier to build than the Reaver or Warhound. Literally has pre-drilled holes for a 5x1mm magnet in the arms/shoulders and carapace mounts; youre doing yourself a serious disservice if you dont magnetize this model.
If you dont play AT but enjoy painting I would say get one as a display piece because whos never wanted a Warlord in their shelf?.
Games Workshop have hit a purple patch lately in their recent model releases and this is no exception. A massively detailed product, with a lot of posability and customising options, including fittings that support using neodymium-style magnets to quickly fit and exchange weaponry (magnets not included).
Comes with the weaponry shown on the box, plus an additional plasma arm weapon which was an unexpected bonus. Final point is the fantastic head sculpts which are throwbacks to the original titans released back in the 80’s.
Mass Effect: Andromeda Deluxe takes players to the Andromeda Galaxy, far beyond the Milky Way. There, players will lead our fight for a new home in hostile territory where we are the aliens. Play as the Pathfinder a leader of a squad of military-trained explorers with deep progression and customization systems.
This is the story of humanity’s next chapter, and players choices throughout the game will ultimately determine our survival in the Andromeda Galaxy.
This was my least fav of the mass effect games. I bought it late 2021 when they corrected all the issues people mentioned in reviews when it first released. But still it didn’t seem as refined and smooth of a game play as the older versions.
I still haven’t fished the game because I was starting to get bored with the tasks I had to complete. It feels like your running around endlessly and far distances and having to return back to point A and it all feel like its just wasting time running or driving or whatever.
I will eventually finish the game but its not as good as ME2 and I can’t help but compare it. Right now I have a bunch of other games that are outweighing the gameplay experience so this one is on the back burner.
Oh and BTW the graphics are blah IMO they had so much time to build it up and create stunning visuals and yet it hasn’t improved at all.
I like RPGs. Mass Effect 2 is one of the best games Ive ever played, and I even liked Mass Effect 3, despite the rushed and somewhat disappointing ending. So I had high hopes for Mass Effect: Andromeda, with all the money that had allegedly been thrown at it, combined with the PS4s superior capabilities.
So what happened? I urgently need to talk about the character animations. Oh my word. They are simply awful. Faces look like theyve been pumped full of Botox whilst simultaneously having a stroke. People walk like theyve had a trouser accident.
It is really quite distracting. The voice acting isnt much cop, either. The flat delivery of unnatural dialogue, combined with a characters eyes darting around like theyre watching a hyperactive mosquito, is so bad its funny.
And some voices are just incongruous. For example, take the first time you meet a Krogan. This is a big, imposing, armoured warrior alien. The voice that comes to my mind is a loud, deep bass, not the ridiculous hushed, camp voice that actually comes out.
Instead of Darth Vader you get Darth Louie Spence. Gameplay is bland and monotonous at best. I gave it four hours, thinking it couldnt keep being so tedious once the initial missions were over and I could get into my own ship.
How wrong Iwas. The tedium just keeps coming, in fact if anything it gets worse. Explore this boring area that looks like the last boring area (except sand!), open a few doors, read a few notes, talk to some NPCs, turn something on (or off), rinse and repeat until the bad guys turn up.
The bad guys who, despite everyone in the game banging on about how scary and dangerous they are, are actually weak and exceptionally stupid. You can break down combat tactics into two categories: 1) when theyre distant, hide behind cover, wait for them to pop their head out, then take it off with a sniper rifle, or 2) when theyre close, hide behind cover, wait for them to pop their head out, then take it off with a shotgun.
You could mix things up and use a rifle for a change, but why bother when there are so many ammo refills littered about? Then again, these tactics do depend on mastering the unfriendly and unnecessarily complicated controls.
More than once I wanted to change my weapon in the middle of a fight and ended up chucking a grenade at a teammate. Side missions are basically doing fetch quests for people you couldnt care less about, or looking for resources to upgrade weapons and armour if you care enough at this point to put the effort in.
Which leads me to customisation. My advice with the character creation? Dont bother. Stick with the default settings. No matter how much time you invest in creating your character, theyll still come out looking like the elephant man (or woman), walking like John Wayne and talking like a robot.
There are a few bugs as well. As well as floating enemies and graphical glitches, I cant review the multiplayer element of the game at all, because I cant get online. Because of what I assume is a bug, no matter how much I try I cant get the latest update to download and install.
So lets just assume thats rubbish as well, shall we? One last thing. It’s a real bugbear of mine not being able to pause during cutscenes, especially if said cutscenes are numerous and so very, very long.
In summary then, Im glad I didnt pay full price for this game at launch or I would be asking for my money back under the Consumer Rights Act. Mass Effect: Andromeda is not of satisfactory quality, and for me it is not as described because I cannot access the multiplayer element.
It is one of the worst games I have ever played, and a black mark on this otherwise great series of games.
To start with, I didn’t pick up ME:A until all the patches for it were out. So, I did not have to suffer through the early days where the game was buggier. This is by far my favorite ME game. I loved the sense of exploring the unknown.
I likes the more free flowing movement and combat system. This game had most of my favorite companions (Thane for the original trilogy is my fav). Is it still a bioware game and have weird bugs? Yes, every bioware game ever has weird bugs even after all the patches.
Still, this was far and away the only game in the series that I felt like I wanted to play again and again.
Games Workshop Warhammer 40,000 Chaos Space Marines Raptors Ignite war on the battlefields of the 41st millennium with Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000 miniatures. Each kit includes highly detailed models to add to your army.
Models are unassembled and unpainted for you to paint in the colors of your favorite army, or your own, custom design!.
Warhammer is an amazing immersive game and the models are incredible. Players can either participate in the gaming aspect or you can just enjoy the hobbying of put them together and giving a great paint job! No matter how you choose to play, GamesWorkshop has created, and continues to create, in depth detailed models that are so superb in the detailing that you would be proud to display them anywhere.
in a glass case or on the table murdering your opponent. I play Grey Knights and this was for my husband for Christmas who plays a faction of chaos called Iron Warriors. I love the motion aspect of the raptors.
They look like you can see them cutting across a battlefield, swords raised, guns aimed and a look of murderous focus in their eyes. I cant wait to face them across the table with my dread knight ready to throw down.
Now available again as a supersonic and large-scale destruction shooting! This is a dog fight you have never experienced, in which you can fly between high-rise buildings at Mach speed and destroy enemies in close proximity to the trees! Air weapons such as fighter planes, attack helicopters and large bombers can be boarded.
In addition to 2 types of aircraft operation which can freely fight according to the skill and place style of the player, it is equipped with 「 Flight Assist 」. Enjoy supreme freshness and intuitive aerial combat.
I feel like most of the negative reviews were expecting a flight simulator like the regular Ace Combat games rather than over-the-top action. If I were training to be a fighter pilot, I would look to the regular Ace Combat games, but this spin-off was meant to be an arcade style shooter with more extra custom option/features than your usual After Burner game.
Quite honestly, Im bummed that the Ace Combat franchise stopped making more of the Action Style Shooters like Assault Horizon, so here I am in 2021 on Ebay trying to reclaim my fond memories. Even tho this was created for the Xbox 360, it still holds up today in graphics, gameplay, soundtrack, and design.
If you’re like me and a big fan of Air Combat 6 you’d be tempted to try this game. But it’s false advertising because this is not really an Ace Combat Game. They’ve added missions for helicopter and bombers.
They’ve integrated a Close Combat mode for attacking enemy fighters. You basically just lock on and shoot. When fighting Enemy Aces, it’s the only way to get them. You try your best to get really close (markers light up on the enemy fighters as a prompt), press A and B to lock on and then you’re right on their tail and can blast them out of the sky.
You’re locked in like a mini-arcade sequence. It’s simplified to the point of a turkey shoot. The graphics and lay outs are excellent and there are plenty of great explosions. It quickly becomes really monotonous and repetitive to do the close maneuver.
It’s lock on and shoot, lock on and shoot. The missions seem to just go on forever. Just when you think you’ve cleared them, here come more. Adults and kids with no jet flying game experience would probably have a blast.
At least until the monotony wears on them. But believers in the franchise want a real AC game. Hopefully that will be provided with the upcoming AC7.
I purchased this game because I enjoyed the demo a few years back. I have been sucked into the game since I’ve had it. The number of aircraft given to fly, and this different scenarios make it continuously entertaining.
I haven’t played a air combat game this entertaining since Windows 98. The graphics are sweet, and the dogfights gain complexity and difficulty as you progress. It is a bit acradey, but its the best console flight game I have ever played.

Looking for an easy to pull together costume? It’d be easy to pull off a do it yourself army soldier costume. Put on a tank top and some camo pants and once you add this inflatable machine gun, you’re good to join the military! This inflatable machine gun accessory measures 112 cm.

Designed in 1930 by the Swedish Bofors Company this gun was adopted by some 18 countries and became the standard light anti aircraft weapon with the British forces. The Morris CS8 15-cwt 4×2 General Service Trucks were made in large numbers and they became the backbone of the British Army.
Although this is one of the older Airfix plastic model kits, it is still a well made addition to you hobby collection. It is one of the few models of this subject on the market today, and it includes both the 40mm AA gun and the truck that towed it.
The kit is in 1/76 scale, which is very popular in England, but American modelers would probably have been happier if it had come out in 1/72 scale.
Why was the second version of this great kit removed from the option? There was a chance to build a European version apart from the Western Desert one (I have built both) but all kits should have an option added for the purchase to make a choice and the manufacturer to sell another one to make the option !!.
The Robot Combat Airheads turn up the action with intense brawling and pop-to-win action. The set features dynamic 2-player and single player game modes to take on opponents or practice your technique.
Included with the fighters are infrared wireless controllers and 24 colorful balloons. The built-in sound effects heighten the action as you try to pop your rival’s head and win the match.
Great idea for a battle bot type toy but we found these robots were hard to control. Both the forward button and the turnaround button basically have the same motion so it is incredibly challenging to make the robots move forward in a straight line.
This makes getting close enough to the other robot to battle it out a little hard. This was frustrating to users of all ages in this house. However with a little bit of practice we still ended up having a great time and many balloons were popped dramatically.
The other issue is that the remote frequently stopped communicating to the robots leaving them dead in their place. It was not a battery issue. I’m assuming it was some type of radio interference but am not sure.
In all a decent toy but I’m not sure if we will go back to it for more entertainment.
The idea of this game is adorable, and it could be a 5 star toy, but some things need work. First, it uses a total of 10 batteries – 3 for each robot, 2 for each controller. While I’d love to be able to replace them constantly, it’s a hindrance, which means we can’t play as often.
Second, the connection between the controllers and the robots is sometimes spotty. If something can be done about these issues, I think it would benefit the toy. Overall, a fun game. My son loves anything RC, and getting to battle his sister and “destroy!” makes it that much better.
I would tell others about it, but would warn of the battery usage and connection issues first. Maybe a “buy while it’s on sale” sort of toy.
My daughter and her friend were really excited for this toy, but it just doesn’t work well. It takes batteries, for one, and they run out very quickly. Additionally, the remote doesn’t seem to communicate with the robots very well.
The robots often got stuck or quit moving. It was fun when we could get it to work, but it could use some fine-tuning.
SevenFriday P1C-01 P-Series men’s automatic watch features a 48mm wide and 16mm thick two tone white ion plated solid stainless steel case with a fixed bezel and textured push-pull crown. SevenFriday P1C-01 is powered by Japanese Miyota 82S7 automatic movement.
Okay so I saw this watch in a airport in Japan, loved the style and colors. It was one of my best watch purchases I have made. Keeps perfect time, does not slow or lose time, colors are always crystal clear and bright.
perfect weight and comfort. it is worth every cent I paid for it.
I thought that the seat would be a little softer. Overall I like it, but if they could make the seat have a little more cushion I would be able to use it for longer periods of times. It is true to the pictures, snaps together very easily and is portable.
Has a bottom attachment that you can change if you are using outdoors. Overall a good value.
Got this issued a long time ago and it is still my go to ruck. It is also my largest. Ounces is pounds, pounds is pain, so I don’t always fill it up and since it is my favorite mystery ranch ruck, I just keep using it.
If it’s a short trip, few days or less, I’ll grab a smaller one like Komodo just to be lightweight, or I will simply take the top of my SATL off and use it as a day pack. Very rugged. I’ve taken it all over the states in all climates including snow, Southwest Asia (middle east), Southeast Asia (pacific countries), and other unmentionables.
This ruck has withstood countless hours in the sun, in wet climate, wet jungle floor, dense woods, tree sap, billions are particles of desert sand and dust, and it just will not die. It took 8 years before I got my first tear at the top Velcro opening.
Got it fixed at a local shop. Had another shop add some Velcro strips on the day pack top lid. It is a little faded now, but not noticeable unless compared to a brand new pack. Stains and sticky stuff eventually wears off or blends in, like the tree sap.
It took several months but it is smooth again, just left behind some small red staining. It’s just a reminder of the cool places I’ve been. I’ve taken it on boats, racing around on the open ocean and it got wet, but the goods inside stayed dry.
If I knew it was likely to get really wet, I used waterproof compression bags inside, or put the whole ruck inside a larger, waterproof ruck/bag. The clips are the first thing to go really. They get dry and break.
Duct tape helps until it can be repaired, which requires unstitching and restitching. The aluminum frame is amazing, I’ve taken it off and used it on other issues rucks just fit the comfort during movements with “mandatory issued gear.
” The elastic stretchy straps have since lost their stretch, but that took about 5 years. The side pockets at the bottoms hood rolled sleeping pads, tarps, and weapon butt stocks really well. The massive zipper form the center is clutch.
Pack your stuff the same every time and you know where it’s at in the dark. It really is endless that you can fit in this bad boy. I’ve even gotten my body armor and Henley inside with some personal items and sleeping system.
It becomes very cumbersome and top heavy so I stopped that endeavor. I hate hiking with armor on but it’s better than carrying it in your back/shoulders. Hip pad is amazing, works well. Again, the clips are sheets the weak point, and that’s across all competition.
Back pad beaters really well, rolled pads keep the ruck from shifting around on movements. Has held up great to a lot of sweat. I’ve added pouches, cut a hole in the bottom and added a bigger pouch, removed it and patched it to reduce space again (lol), and this pack is still very strong and versatile after a decade of very hard use and abuse.
It may outlive me… I did not purchase, it was given to me to rest and use, asking with the other rucks, bags, pouches. They are all off the same great quality and I still use them all frequently. I just use the SATL the most.
I bought this a month back because I’ve been considering moving down to something smaller for backpacking. In the past I used my old ALICE mountain ruck and as much as I love the ALICE mountain ruck, its too big for backpacking, at least I think so.
The SATL is just enough space to pack what you need for a through hike. In my experience if there is extra space an individual will be prone to fill it, which means too much weight. I love how that pack rides as well, very much like the 3 DAP which I also own.
The Futura harness and waist belt wrap around you and you can honestly go miles and miles before any real fatigue sets in. Webbing, buckles, zippers, stitching, and cordura nylon material are solid, important features that Mystery ranch is known for not skimping on.
Honestly I can’t really point out anything I don’t like about this pack except with the reverse slide buckles on the waist belt. Move those forward like you have them on the larger rucks for a little more ease during adjustment.
Not a deal breaker of course, Its my favorite large pack, and I will be using this for years to come.
I have used this as one summer packs for a while now, when i need to carry a bit more than my Blackjack 50 and i am quite happy with its performance. It has been manufactured with the usual high quality of materials and workmanship we expect from Mystery Ranch, The internal sleeves fit the water bladders made in Israel as well as issue ones ( unlike the Blackjack 80), and the internal open top compartment can just fit two issue ration packs, or easily fit civilian ration packs (which while they contain mostly the same items are a little smaller).
The bolster is a little smaller than the Blackjack 50 and so holds less but still enough to be useful. The rear compartments can hold small items in abundance as well as a canteen, cups canteen metal and hexi stove.
One feature which is superior to the Blackjacks is the two positions of MOLLE on each side of the belt, this allows you to fit a compass pouch on one side and a gps pouch on the other ( i do prefer the belt tensioning system on the blackjacks though) plus whatever else you may need on the other two.
The only feature of the pack which has proven to be a serious problem is the lack of sufficient MOLLE on the pack sides there being only three runs, which is insufficient to allow the fitting of all the small pouches needed on the side walls of the pack.
Indeed there are not enough runs to properly attach a small rip zip pouch let alone a large rip zip pouch, or even a field knife. However there is plenty of available space on the pack sides for this purpose just not enough MOLLE.
This is frustrating as it means buying MOLLE tape and having it sewn on professionally by a local pack repairer to fix this deliberate bit of penny pinching, it certainly has nothing to do with saving weight as the amount of weight saved is miniscule.
I calculate the pack needs seven runs each side, running from above the bottom pocket to around the top of the frame, this would solve the serious lack of flexibility in external stowage that the pack presents currently and quite unnecessarily.
Remember Mystery Ranch makes pouches as well, you cant sell your own pouches for the pack if the pack does not have enough MOLLE to fit them on. Pete.
At the end of the assault rifle mass effect andromeda, the player character is left with the decision of whether to keep the rifle or not. If the player decides to keep the rifle, they can use it to great effect in future missions.
However, if the player decides to sell the rifle, they can use the money to upgrade their character or purchase new equipment.
