20 Best Anti Static Spray For Clothes (2022 Updated)

I had a blanket that had so much static! Turning at night all I would see is little sparks. Few sprays of this and it was gone. Only con is the smell, my husband likes it but I’m not a fan, wish this came in a different scent or ideally unscented.

Going to try it on a satin dress next.

Works as described. Perfect for dry climates. My only complaint is the smell. Hence the 4 stars and not 5. It’s not strong and can easily be covered up with perfume or cologne, but the company should also improve this.

I really wanted to like this product. I live in a desert climate with little to no humidity so laundry can become painful when removing clothes out of the dryer. I followed instructions and sprayed my dried laundry before removing from the dryer but still get strong static shock.

Unfortunately I don’t think this product does anything, at least not where I live.

I love my other Laundress products and was very excited to purchase and try the static solution in the middle of a dry winter, but I am sorry to say that this static spray does nothing at all to combat static.

It definitely smells nice, but that’s where the praise ends. I tried the static spray according to the instructions on several items–including a cotton T-shirt, a cotton/poly blend shirt, a fleece blanket, and some mesh lounge shorts–and they produced just as much static as they did prior to spraying.

Again, I am a major fan of The Laundress detergents, stain solution, fabric fresh sprays, and 247 bar soap, but the static spray completely misses the mark for me.

I bought this a month or two ago to see if I liked the product. I live in Minnesota, and got this in November: just in time for the cold, dry air, and static to start in. I absolutely love this product.

I have a few chunky sweaters that were holding so much static that I couldn’t even wear them: they made that awful static sound every time I moved and clung to me uncomfortably. This spray quickly took care of the problem.

For clothes that are super static-y, I’ve found that it’s helpful to turn the garment inside-out, spray it entirely, turn it back out, and spray it again. When I’ve done this, I haven’t noticed any recurrence of static over the course of the day, and I work 8-10 hour days.

The smell of this spray is also amazing: it’s light, but still has a subtly perfumed, clean laundry smell.

We are resolutely old school and my wife still likes the feel of crisply ironed linens and such, so she goes through a lot of this. Over the year we have tried pretty much every brand and variety of spray starch out there and this is the ONLY one that does NOT crud up the bottom of her iron.

EVER. Quite frankly, I don’t understand it. We have been through many irons and it’s always the same – every single iron we’ve had will get gunk all over the bottom with any other spray we’ve used – and the problem is that we can’t always find the Faultless Premium in any of the stores so we have now gone to ordering it from WalMart online and having it shipped to our local store for pickup.

I don’t know how any of the other brands – or other varieties from Faultless for that matter – manage to stay in business. Do people just put up with having to constantly clean off the bottom of their irons? It is truly a mystery.

Anyway, if you haven’t tried Faultless Premium, please do. You will never again use anything else. Yes, it’s a few pennies more – but seeing as how it’s the only product out there that actually does what it’s supposed to do, it’s worth it!.

In the thick of the pandemic, I found myself with limited starch options available at the store. The other products I’ve tried left this unfortunate white flaking on the items I would iron at home. This was especially inconvenient when it came to ironing navy blue and black work pants.

However this specific starch product NEVER leaves pesky residue behind. Items look crisp and maintain their wrinkle-free for the day!.

First of all, “Odor-eliminating technology. ” You mean there’s so much fragrance in the spray, you wouldn’t be able to smell anything else???? Are you owned by Febreeze? This stinks so bad, I’m going to have to wash this mask before I put it up to my face.

And frankly, it doesn’t work so well, I needed it for some finger folder fabric that wasn’t keeping a crease. No luck. I’m afraid to spray more. So, I’ll just break out my needle and thread and blind stitch this together.

And I’m throwing this can of starch away after one partial use!.

This is the only ironing spray starch that works consistently and gives me flawless results. It instantly makes the creases disappear and doesn’t leave any residue on the clothing. I’ve been using this brand for years, since I was a little girl wearing school uniform.

My parents would always use this starch to achieve a sharp crease in my pants and pleated skirts. Today, I do the same with my kids’ uniforms. Highly recommended. The only negative experience I’ve had with any starch is if the can drops and the nozzle breaks.

It definitely will hurt your feelings. At that point the can is useless as the warning label advises not t puncture the can and there’s no way to get the product out. I remember seeing someone share a hack on TikTok, but as honestly can’t remember what it was or if it was even legit or just a joke.

Niagara has been around for decades. I love the fresh crisp scent. It makes ironing soooo much easier on professional dress shirts and cottons. Wonderful product. My ironing pal. Reasonably priced too.

One bottle of this lasts a lifetime. I’m not joking about this one single bit either. I’ve had the same bottle since the 1990s, and clearly I don’t iron that much. A little bit goes a long way and works great especially for dress shirts.

It makes them nice and crisp. .

Oh my gosh Ive suffered with static on my clothing forever and have never found anything to combat it – until I came across this! I was so sceptical but thought Id try it as so cheap. And Im so glad I did! Really works – means I can now happily wear all the items in my wardrobe whereas before there were certain dresses and blouses that just were not even an option due to clinging!!! Dont hesitate to buy this product – its fantastic.

I find this has worked fairly well to stop the static on my clothes. Only down side is it smells a bit Grandma-ish

I have thick Asian hair that’s colored and coarse with both straight and wavy strands and am always battling static so I like to pair this with the Invigo frizz control creme to tame it all and also keep it soft and manageable.

I’ll towel dry my hair, spritz this all over, then use a nickel to quarter size of the Invigo frizz creme spread over my palms and run them through my hair from roots to ends. After that, I’ll run a brush through my hair and do a quick blow dry.

I find that doing this allows me to cut my hair straighting session the next morning (if I even bother to do it) from 1+ hours to about 10-15 minutes. The only thing I don’t like is the slightly tacky feeling after I blow dry but that goes away quickly enough that it won’t stop me from picking up more of these products when I run out.

I have dry thin hair, and I thought this was going to be nourishing for my hair as it is advertised throughout social media. It is in fact not that at all. It tried my hair out more than it usually is , and actually started making it fall out.

I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone. It does smell good though! So I’ll give them that.

❤️This stuff does what it says it does. ❤️ It eliminates static in your hair. I have used it twice so far on very cold dry climate days and nights. On its own it doesn’t add luster or shine to hair. But it does eliminate static build up with the proper ionic hair combs in conjunction with the product.

Using with a hair oil for shine and styling. You get a stepped out of the salon look. My clothes might have had a bit of static cling here and there throughout the day. But my hair never did. Even the next morning my hair was static free on very cold dry winter climate.

Thank you for making this stuff. Not it love with the smell. But it is light and covers easily with perfume or body mist. This stuff does what it says it is supposed to do. Making me one happy 😊 woman.

I will be buying this again and again. Thank you fo giving me the answer to my unruly static build up hair in the winter and dryer climates while I travel. My search is over I have found my holy grail to my problem.

Thank you for creating this stuff and not wasting my money on a product that doesn’t work. I have tried several other products that say they are anti static. They were a waste of money. This stuff WORKS.
