Adhesive for wood to concrete is a substance that helps to bond these two materials together. There are many different types of adhesives on the market, so it is important to choose the right one for your project.
If you are not sure which adhesive to use, you can always ask a professional at your local hardware store.
All surface and all purpose indoor/outdoor Gorilla construction adhesive provides a heavy duty bond that does not shrink. Adhesive is permanently flexible, perfect for joints with heavy movement and stress.
Gap filling is great for dissimilar surfaces. Holds in 30 seconds, 100% waterproof, low odor, paintable, and is VOC compliant. Bonds to subfloor and decks, trim and paneling, mirrors, foamboard, bath surrounds, landscaping, granite and marble, drywall, and more.
After 40+ years of doing many different types of simple DIY jobs around the home (and using Lepage PL construction adhesive), this product by far surpasses it. Gorilla glue holds & binds to every known (dry) construction material surface: lumber, natural wood, pressure treated lumber, MDF, wood composites, cement, brick, steel, aluminum, styrofoam, resin plastics, rubber, ceramic tile).
Dries fast, no smell, and NO toxic off gasing, so you can easily use this product inside any home where fumes from petroleum based solvents are an health issue. Easily washes off your hands with soap & water.
I now only buy my glues from the entire Gorilla product line. After years of using other products, that either failed to hold, or took too long to dry, and really smelled bad (if you are sensitive to construction product smells).
It’s well worth the price for peace of mind in any application where you might not be so sure if your mixed-type of material surfaces will bond correctly or securely by using another product (i. e. in bonding different types of materials together).
Great for exterior projects as well as interior applications.
You know how you say “oh I’ll do it tomorrow “. well tomorrow takes a few days to come around and finally the tomorrow rolls around months later. Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive saved my gutters that started to separate and held on perfectly.
I also has some cracks in the sunroom what I needed to fix by replacing some metal and wood. I cracked up because I didn’t need to use much effort or man power at all, I a woman did it, I was ecstatic that it was so effortless yet well repaired.
It rained and stormed and heavy winds, you could call it tornado weather in the South. My gutters ere still affixed and no leaks in my sun room. What a great quick fixer upper Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive has become in my house.
I needed to attach some foam mats to a board for a dance floor. I sanded and washed and dried before applying. The gorilla glue cured for a week and then the phone was able to be just peeled off easily.
I guess I’ll need to stick with the brand I’ve used for years that never fails me it’s like nails. I won’t be buying this type of Gorilla glue anymore. It’s alot more pricey too!.
Solvent or water-based adhesives available in a variety of open times, these useful adhesives are usually rolled, brushed or sprayed on the two surfaces to be bonded and allowed to dry to the touch. Substrates bond almost instantly when the surfaces are Reaching a minimum of 1,000-psi overlap shear strength, 3M Structural Adhesives are designed to bond the load-bearing parts of products.
Does not work very well / does not stick very well. I tried this because I can’t handle the VOC’s in standard adhesives anymore. If you are like me, and need to use this, some tips to help: Before opening, shake the contents very well for at least 5 to 10 minutes (this stuff like to separate, so shake it well), apply heavy with a brush or roller to both materials to be bonded together, hit it with a hair dryer for a few minutes, wait about an hour, then apply a second coat, hit it with a hair dryer again for a few minutes, wait about an hour, stick the parts together and keep them pressed together for about a day.
Then put somewhere in a warm dry environment (about 80deg F) for a few days to 2 weeks. That’s what I had to do to get it to stick together. After that, it seems pretty well stuck.
This stuff is water based, so it washes off easily, but once it dries, you either rub it off or wipe it away with a cloth soaked with lacquer thinner. Works wicked well for gluing synthetic fabrics to solid structures and other fabrics.
Paint it on the structure with a China bristle brush and let it dry. It’s then like a Post-it note so you can reposition the fabric until you get it exactly right, then rub it down to stick it in place and iron it with a 250 degree F iron to lock it.
Oh no, I screwed it up again! No big deal, just peel it off and try again: rub & iron. Then paint some more Fastbond over the top of the joint and wipe away any excess with a good paper towel before it dries.
After an hour or so, iron it down at 250 to lock it all together, then paint over it with a water borne paint, if you wish. Good stuff!.
First time user so we decided to use the “green” version to assure product was ready for contact. There is no odor to this product. Product was used in a confined space (rear berth of a sailboat)to adhere vinyl liner to the sides of the vessel.
Easy to apply with brush or roller. Went on blue dried green in about 30 minutes. Easy cleanup if you don’t let it dry, otherwise use mineral spirits. Throw away brushes and roller covers, it’s not worth trying to clean up.
Product worked as advertised and I would strongly recommend for use where odor from normal contact cement is unacceptable. Hardware Hut beat all prices.
Weldbond is a universal adhesive that bonds most anything! It is non-toxic, nonflammable, free of fumes, has low VOCs, is created without animal by-products and is environmentally friendly! It carries the EcoLogo seal of approval – certifying that it is created without the use of formaldehyde, toxic metals or excessive VOCs.
This glue is a pH neutral PVA adhesive that is excellent for use in making and repairing books. This is an excellent PVA adhesive for bookbinding and book repair. Along with similar products like LINECO pH neutral adhesive and ATG Turbo, it fills a particular niche in our profession for a product that is archival, has good tack, drives fast and is flexible.
Most importantly, it is on the list of recommended adhesives by the Canadian Art Conservation Society for working with paper. Because all PVA glues are destroyed by freezing temperatures, it is important to check the container before carrying it out of the store.
To similar containers purchased online from the world’s largest online retailer were damaged by freezing and shipping so going to my local Rona store fixed the problem for me.
This glue is supposed to work well with many materials and that’s why I thought I’d try it. But for my type of mosaic art, not so great. I make mosaics with mostly plastic/glass beads glued on gesso board or masonite, using Mod Podge and a paint brush to apply.
Looked for reviews on M. Podge to see how it holds up over time when used with beads but I only found reviews for M. Podge & PAPER art. Looking for a glue with good reviews & mosaic-type use, I tried Weldbond.
It doesn’t list plastic as a material it works on/ with, but it was supposed to glue so many other things. I thought I’d try it since I also like to use metals, rocks, etc in mosaics. I thought maybe lil’ plastic beads would stick, too.
So I tried painting it on a wooden surface (painted 1st w/ an acrylic paint) and pushing a few plastic beads down. It was thicker than M. Podge when wet, and was harder to make an even, smooth coat w/ paint brush.
No sticking power for plastic pony beads even after 24 hours of drying; they came right off when I applied pressure the next day. Just what the bottle said. not for plastic. Oh well, I just thought I’d try it.
For the glass seed beads/ other glass beads it was also not my favorite cause it seemed a bit too thick and messy for my smaller stuff. The long drying time made me decide to keep using M. Podge. However, It did work fine as a clear sealant when I painted it over the edges of an acrylic-painted wooden plaque w/ mosaic on it.
I use Weldbond mostly for mosaics. It is odorless, which is important since I am scent-sensitive. It is non-toxic. It dries clear. It is expensive for glue, but Blick’s price is the best around, and they offer it in jugs, which enables me to dispense into smaller containers when I teach workshops.
Weldbond is really strong and dries very quickly, unless you put it behind a big piece of glass. I have found that putting heat under it makes it dry much more quickly. I use warming trays for this.
A polyurethane construction adhesive that provides superior results and is safer to use. It generates three times the power of ordinary, traditional adhesives. It may be used inside or outside and will last as long as the surfaces it joins together.
It bonds to a vast array of materials such as wood, metal, OSB, drywall, stone, masonry, concrete, bricks, vinyl, plastics and foam. This versatile adhesive can be used for many different projects, including subfloors and construction joints.
This product meets or exceeds ASTM D3498 and conforms to HUD UM60a; ASTM C557 and APA AFG-01 specifications.
It’s been in use for at least 75 years. It’s what holds your windshield in place. How many of those have you seen fall out? It’s a structural adhesive. It also cures in moisture. This means if you want it to cure faster, spray water on it.
It’s also available in quick set versions that cure much faster. Also, it’s important to get fresh urethane. Normally the bottles will have dates on them. If they are old they do not flow well out of the caulking gun and your hand will grow in size.
If you run out on the job, and you don’t care if the color is black, go to your local auto parts store – they will have it. The nice thing about Home Depot’s urethane selections? They are available in White, Beige, Grey and Black.
Once you understand the power of Urethane you will also understand that it is the ultimate RV sealant. Seal it once – for 50 years !!!.
Without exaggeration, this adhesive strongly bonds almost anything to anything. I no doubtfully love its performance, ease of use, and the low odor feature. An issue I like to report is about the curing process.
The Home Depot web site claims that it fully cures in 24 hours. Therefore, I glued a floor molding bracket (galvanized steel) to a concrete floor and pushed the molding into it 24 hours thereafter. It resulted in part of the base coming off the floor.
Apparently, the maximum bonding power is not yet reached in 24 hours, at which time the adhesive has not completely hardened. I would give it at least 48 hours before trying to apply any load.
Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive is a tough, versatile, all-weather adhesive. It’s 100% adhesive formula provides a long-lasting, heavy duty bond. The durable, 100% waterproof formula holds up indoors and out, bonding virtually anything including subfloor, mirrors, trim, drywall, landscaping, bath surrounds, foamboard, marble and more! This Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive comes in a convenient 2.
5 ounce tube for quick and easy dispensing. The fast-grab formula holds in 30 seconds. This construction adhesive has a white cured color, though it can be painted with latex paints within two days of the application.
Allow 24 hours to cure. Note that cure times will increase with lower temperature, humidity and if bonding non-porous surfaces.
This Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive works like a charm. The packaging is great. Very easy to squeeze the product out. This adhesive is extremely easy to apply. It does foam so be careful to use small amounts.
I used it on a broken wooden chair. I applied a small amount and let it dry overnight of course. It feels brand new like it was never broken. I also used it on my kitchen sink. It was out of place and was very wobbly.
I applied a generous amount to the bottom of it and it sticked really good. My sink is perfectly in place now. Completely dried and no longer moves. I am so happy with this product and definitely will continue to use it around the house.
It is my lifesaver and I definitely recommend this product.
A paver in the front yard leading to the house broke. I got this adhesive and wow does it do its job. The paver, about 1 inch can withstand walking on it with no signs of it coming apart. Got a little bit on my finger but a little turpentine fixed that.
I then decided to use it on the downspout of one of the gutters. During heavy downpours it separates from the gutter making a mini deluge. After cleaning the downspout area, I applied this to it. So far that thing does not want to come loose.
This is one adhesive I am going to go to should I need to repair something else. Highly recommend.
This came in handy just in time. The metal magnets in the shower were coming off and it’s still there. My man uses it alot at work. He does construction so he has tried it on flooring spots and they all agreed it seems to work great.
What is nice. Doesnt take long to settle and stay in place you want to keep it in spot for awhile undisturbed but once it hardens a little you cant move object after. We really like it. So need more since my man is using it alot.
I do believe they use it on walls as well but not sure. He uses it way more then I did. And I’m very impressed. He must be too.
Details: Safecoat Almighty Adhesive is a solvent-free, environmentally safe, non-toxic, high-performance construction adhesive for use in a wide variety of applications. It does not off-gas and has almost no odor, so is safe for use in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces.
It exceeds all VOC and environmental regulations. Almighty Adhesive provides 500 PSI shear strength, more than enough grip for most applications.
First time with a ‘green’ product such as this. Had a project inside a small basement room with inadequate ventilation, and was concerned about using the typical products available that are hazardous.
I had to sniff this stuff directly from 2 inches away to be able to discern any odor at all, and even then it was hardly objectionable, faintly resembling a vinegar type odor. Being a former finish carpenter I can assure you that this is not the case with ‘regular’ construction adhesives.
Thank God for the Almighty, well thank Green Building supply really! We did an addition and some remodeling recently and the mandate went out: “no toxic materials”. All craftsmen were instructed that they will not use any fuming toxic glues, paints or materials so they had to list the materials needed that had to be ordered from GBS.
When I noticed a case of construction adhesive that the guys were using to glue a subfloor and smelled that, instant headache, so I stopped the job and said “I told you none of this!, why didn’t you say you needed glue?” Bought a case of Almighty and then let them finish.
I have been using the Almighty on various smaller projects and it bonds fairly quickly and is holding on everything so far. The best thing is that I can use it without a respirator, or mask and be able to breathe fine and not go into a coma!.

Just bought a house and wanted to get a couple pieces of trim reattached before winter. I location was awkward so I could not completely attach the trim using nails, so I used this as well to fix the trim in place.
This is a temporary fix in areas where a contractor will be renovating in the spring. The adhesive was a little sloppy and hard to control at first, but overall went on well and provided a strong bond that has lasted through the early winter storms.
I may use it in a couple areas that need a long-term fix, too, because it seems very durable. Time will tell.
I got this glue when I tried to fix some damaged windows. So far it does the work. The windows survived Imelda came only 2 days later. I was shocked because the windows could bear with strong wind and heavy rain even though they are old and glued! Besides the windows, I also use this glue for other projects and it works as good as expected.
I don’t understandd the negative reviews because I found this an amazing product if you follow the directions for use. It flows easily which makes forming a bead a snap and when used as an adhesive is super strong.
Exceptional holding power. Excellent gap filling. VOC compliant. 20 minute open time. Recommended for exterior/interior use on fiberwood, wood trim, particleboard, drywall, plywood, concrete backberboard, polystyrene foam, ceilint tiles, interior use on brick veneer and imitation stone.

In 30 years and after using dozens of adhesive brands of various types, I can assure you this is by far the worst adhesive I have ever used. It literally has zero holding power. just a little water and it washes away.
I wish I picked something else because now the job will take 3 times longer to complete. If you remember elmer’s white glue made safe for toddlers to glue together paper, I swear it has more holding power than this liquid nails.
If the “heavy duty” is this bad, I wonder what the sticking power of the regular version is (maybe half the strength of a sticky note adhesive).
Was looking for the liquid nail adhesive in the gold and blue cardboard tube, but the store was out of it. Got this instead cause it also said construction adhesive, and that it bonds all types of woods.
Sorry, but this is nothing but silicone caulking. This will work if your wanting to seal around some windows or doors, but if your wanting to bond something permanent, then get the original liquid nail in the gold and blue tube.
I used this product to hold some new cabinet boards together. It actually hold pretty well. The product comes out very smooth just need to be careful on the aperture not to make a large cut or it would come out as a clump, over saturating the working area.
With the assistance of some clamps and a 24 hours waiting the wood stayed strongly bonded. It most be careful not to saturate the material and immediately clean the area. The one downside its the container as the cartoon easily bend at the end and loose the shape for the dispensing gun.
Also need a way to close the tip for continue reuse or it will harden and waste.
I have tried several construction adhesives for my fountain-installation project, but nothing out performs Titebond Landscape Adhesive. Quick repair and fast drying make my projects easier to finish while having water tight seal.
I don’t have to use silicone in joints anymore. The bricks become one solid piece with this product. Easy to spread and easy to work with. Highly recommend this product to anybody wanting long lasting results.
I got this Titebond PROvantage landscape adhesive just in time for a fix I had to make. This adhesive is truly so helpful and rite now in my area it’s Hot! Her index over 100 and this adhesive still did wonders.
It was so easy to use let alone very easy to set. I have fixed multiple things around my home and it’s done a fantastic job. It’s got one of the strongest holds I have ever worked with and I plan to keep using this kind.
I am so grateful how this works in all kinds of weather.
I was really looking forward to receiving PROvantage Landscape Adhesive because I had some out side projects that need my attention. I used the adhesive on our flower beds that are outlined by rocks.
I used the adhesive to hold the rocks in place and so far it has not let me down. Through the couple of heavy rain storms we already had, the rocks are still holding in place. This is definitely a high quality product and I highly recommend it!.
Gorilla Glue’s Maximum Strength Construction Adhesive is their strongest construction adhesive, two times stronger than the original formula. Max Strength Clear combines the strength and versatility you have come to expect from Gorilla with a crystal clear, non-foaming formula.
It’s all-weather, 100% waterproof, formula, bonds to various surfaces such as glass, tile, wood, drywall, plaster, brick, ceramic, concrete, masonry, foam board, and more. Max Strength Clear comes in a 9 ounce cartridge for easy dispensing.
After dispensing, items are repositionable for 30 minutes.
Gorilla – Gorilla Clear Max Construction Adhesive is a MUST HAVE for every household. There is NOTHING that this adhesive cannot mend for you, except perhaps a broken heart! I have used it to seal cracks around windows, repaired a broken piece of pottery (it’s Clear, no worries).
Any item that has been damaged or is broken, Gorilla – Gorilla Clear Max Construction Adhesive will strengthen it back to useable again! GREAT PRODUCT!.
Good stuff. We have a granite countertop, and the undermount stainless steel sink was seperating from the granite. I took the undermount supports out, chiseled everything out, sanded, and cleaned really well to re-attach.
I just wasn’t sure which adhesive to use. I called Gorilla, and their customer support is great. They recommended this product with mechanical support. A little goes a long way. I only used about a quarter of the tube, and i was worried i needed more, but this is incredible strong.
It’s only been a few months, and I will update if theres any changes, but everything has held up great. Just be careful with spillover/runoff.
I was given a bathroom countertop. I wasn’t sure what to do with it. I glued a piece of plywood to the bottom, closing the sink opening. I spread a layer of Gorilla Glue, on the wood and clamped it to the countertop.
I’ve haven’t used Gorilla Glue before and curious about the strength and hold. It was dry within 24hrs. I secured the top to a metal cart base. I filled the sink opening with river rock. Instead of grout I used glue.
Gorilla Clear Max dried clear! The rocks are secured and stand out nicely! I now have a kitchen island, with a place to put hot pans. I’m impressed with the versatility of the glue!!! My new go to for projects!!!.

I’ve used this for many different projects and I’m never disappointed. The hold on this is incredible. It’s definitely strong enough for large projects, although I’ve used it for smaller ones also. I’ve used it to hold together a piece of my vacuum that snapped off and it was great! Definitely a must have for any do-it-yourselfer.
I recently used this product on several DIY projects. The adhesive has a very strong bond and I forsee no problems in the future with its capabilities holding. Only problem now is my wife has a long list of more Honey To Do projects for me.
Overall, great product and very handy to have around the house. Would recommend for all homeowners.
LN-901 is heavy-duty adhesive formulated for more demanding projects. Versatile; bridges gaps, provides 10 minutes working time and produces long-term, durable, flexible and impact-resistant bond. With antioxidants added for all-weather performance.
LN-903 is low-VOC construction adhesive specially formulated to provide professionals and DIY-ers with excellent exterior/interior adhesion.
We love our Liquid Nails-Heavy Duty! We have used it all over the house on several different things. We did use it on wood, concrete, on drywall and several other things around the house. It’s super easy to use as long as you have tools you need to use the product.
It goes on like glue and takes a bit to dry but it works great for filling in gaps. You can pretty much use it on almost anything. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand. Applying it is so easy and it doesn’t take much to do.
I love that we can use it on several different things and not just one thing. It actually last awhile too. I was thinking it wouldn’t because it don’t look like much would come in the tube but it lasted for quite awhile and we used it for several things before we started getting low on the liquid nail glue.
I also love that it’s water resistant, which is so helpful! I have recommended it to friends and family. We plan on buying more and continuing to use it!.
This is some great adhesive I have gone around my home repairing odds and ends. I repaired the trimming on the floor near my garage door that kept coming off when accidentally kicked or hit. It only had a small nail holding it in place.
I also repair the trimming on the floor around the kitchen cabinets that were never nailed down from the start due to builders’ error. This adhesive works great and it is easy to use. What I like most about it is it does bond within moments, I think it holds better than a regular nail.
Liquid Nails has made my job easier around the house and my work looks very professional. I am very pleased with the end results. This product gets the job done. This product got the job done. It is exactly what I needed to get things done around the house and it is good for all sorts of projects.
I used this on a wooden outside chair that was falling apart. Now that I have used this adhesive, you would never know my chair was previously falling apart. This is some strong stuff. It dries fast, but I still had the piece clamped down for a few hours to make sure it was dry all the way before I removed the clamps.
It is great for many different projects. It was easy to use. I like that it didn’t have a strong odor.

Durable and long-lasting, LoctiteĆ‚Ā PL Premium Max won’t develop air pockets after cure for better flexibility and strength.
LoctiteĆ‚Ā PL Premium Max fully cures in 24 hr and is fast grab for no run-on with a 20 min repositioning time.
Loctite 9 fl. oz. PL Premium MAX Construction Adhesive I’ve done a fair amount of renovations and typically glue and screw everything. This product is amazing and far exceeded what I thought it could do.
It grabs quickly but needs to be supported or fastened while it cures. It is a really good product and I will continue to use it. The product is 100% solids so I laid three 2” long test lines and let it cure.
The grey adhesive comes out like a paste, slightly grainy. The next day, I didn’t notice any shrinking. The lines were firm enough to resist fingernail pressure and felt like plastic. I took some scrap lumber to test its durability.
I laminated a 1”x3” to a 2”x3” with a lap of 3”, clamped it for 24 hours and let it cure. I was unsuccessful in breaking the bond by pulling it against my knee. I supported the ends and stood on the seam.
I had about half my weight on the beam it when the wood failed. The adhesive was still bonding both surfaces of the lumber used. In 2018, I was at tradeshow where the manufacturer attached hooks to a thick laminated block of various materials (wood, metal, glass, etc.
) and suspended a pallet of cinder blocks from it. It was a really cool demonstration.
I used the PL Premium Max Construction Adhesive about 3 months ago to fix an item that could no longer be fixed by mechanical means. It is used on an almost daily basis by a teenager who “doesn’t care.
” The adhesive has held up better than the substrate which has since been demolished. It was pulled and pushed all the time. Once the item became destroyed I tried to break the seam of adhesive to no avail.
I then took an Olfa knife with construction blade to it and tried to cut it. Broke the blade. I would certainly attach my hard hat to a steel beam and trust my life with it.
Due to Wx and time constraints, I could not use the adheasive on my barn stair treads as plannned. So I used it on several indoor repairs. One item was constructed with MDF, which can be dificult to repair.
The PLMax worked perfectly. It applies easily and can be tooled well. It does takes time to cure so must held secure until set. I am pleased with the end strength and ability to sand and paint after curing.
I will update my review once the Wx improves and I can test it on my more appropriate barn construction project.

I had purchased this product previously but didn’t have a can left and didn’t know how many square feet it would cover. I sincerely appreciated being able to talk to a real person to get an answer as to how many square feet can we cover.
The customer service representative was quick, answered my questions and help me make a decision. This product is amazing. It’s not available where I live and Hass to be ordered online. The water-based version of this doesn’t hold.
This version is bomb proof. So if you’re unsure choose this one.
I’ve used Weldwood Contact Cement forever but this product is getting hard to find in California probably because of strict California chemical laws and the green version of this product just does not work.
And many other states don’t want to ship anything that is the least bit hazardous to California. I’m thankful I was able buy it on Walmart. Thank you Walmart.
I use this in a somewhat unusual way that requires flexibility. Follow the instructions and it will hold forever. Cleanup with paint thinner. There are other much more expensive products that I avoid.
Humidity, temperature and direct sun can affect how this bonds so keep that in mind. Try a test with it first if you haven’t used it and then try and peel it apart. Porous materials require a second coat.
The first coat will reactivate with the second coat. You don’t need to over saturate a porous material – keeping some of the pores open helps with proper drying and bonding.
A one component, polyurethane based, moisture curing adhesive. Loctite PL Premium provides superior adhesion to most common construction materials such as wood, treated wood, hardwood flooring, concrete, stone, marble, slate, masonry, brick, foam insulation of all sorts, carpets, metal, lead, cement-based products, ceramic, fiberglass, drywall and mirrors.
It can be used for interior or exterior projects and is 3 times as strong as conventional solvent based construction adhesives. It is waterproof, paintable, and cures even in cold temperature. Ideal for sub floor installations.
We are putting up bead board and Loctite PL Premium has worked really well. It’s strong and forms a good bond! I love that it is water resistant, paintable and cures in cold temperatures because we are working without heat.
It also doesn’t haven’t a strong odor and dispenses smoothly. It can be applied to dry, wet or frozen lumber which makes for less prep work on our part and we were able to get right to it. It works great for sub flooring too.
We had just a small space of flooring to do and it performed great. This is for sure a must have product.
This works wonders on kitchen counters. After some issues with water getting in the cracks and attracting some unwanted little crawling creatures I had to do the entire kitchen. All the countertops were sealed and it really seems to be working.
I would suggest watching a youtube video before applying. It does take an experienced hand so to speak but once you get it, easy peasey. I was able to apply and it looks and works well. No cracking. Smooth and secure.

I reviewed this online and needed something like this to glue stone to an interior and an exterior wall. I wanted to test it so I glued a sample stone on the interior and another on the exterior. First, the tip thing had extra steps but no biggy.
second the adhesive was super thick and hard to squeeze out with the caulk gun. no worries. Ive handled this before. Place the tubes in hot water for about 15 min and BAM ! Comes out like butter. I applied it to the two stones, and placed one stone against drywall.
The other stone I placed against stucco. pressed both stones tight and held for 30 seconds ( each stone weighs about 1 1/2 pounds each. stayed in place and I left it. Three hours later i came back and tried to remove the stones by hand.
NOT happening !!! I am thoroughly impressed with this and am now stoning both walls ! Im super happy not having to do the typical cement application ( scratch coat, then buttering the stone yadda yadda.
This is in my personal house and will be done in 1/4 of the time and no concrete to mix !!! Very happy with the results! First, though: check the expiration on the tube. You will probably see the current year followed by a three digit number, like 18161, which was made on the 161st day of 2018.
Get the most recent tubes–I noticed my local HD had stocked older tubes in back, and if they keep putting new stock in front, if someone buys the front box out, you may end up with a stale batch. I had great experience with mine, though a metal body, heavy-duty caulk gun dispensed it much better than a light, composite gun.
I suspect the folks reporting very thick adhesive bought a stale batch. I used this to glue laminate (Formica/Wilsonart) backsplash directly to the wall. That used to be a more common practice, but now the officially condoned method requires that you glue the laminate to a substrate like plywood, and adhere that to the wall.
I did not want the thick exposed edge of the substrate. I needed the ability to reposition the material a bit as I applied it, which eliminated contact cement, and I also didn’t have a way to clamp the laminate to the wall in all locations, and that’s where the Power Grab was appealing.
I applied a 3/16″ bead about 3/4″ in from the edge (based on squeeze-out from a test piece), and then in lines, spaced roughly every 1-1/2″. Then I carefully aligned the edge I cared about, pressed it to the wall, and worked my way to the other end.
The Power Grab held it in place perfectly, with no need to clamp. I did not find that there was any ability to reposition once I’d pressed more than about 2 feet of laminate to the wall. On large pieces, two people applying at the same time really helped, since this has a 10 minute open time.
I used 4 tubes for about 30 square feet of laminate. I was able to cover the cut tip with a bag & tape, and continue using the same tube the next day. The cleanup was better than I expected–I did not need to use mineral spirits for uncured adhesive, if wiped up immediately.
I’m completely satisfied with how this worked. Very impressive, immediate grab. Now I have a very sleek, minimalist backsplash that was reasonably inexpensive, DIY-friendly, and no grout lines to clean!.
I thought I might try this for a small outdoor project for my wife. Around her flowerbed, she wanted concrete stones stacked to make a small wall. However, not perfectly stacked on top of one another.
I like to do DIY projects around the home but I’m really don’t like to do much with concrete. This Power Grab Ultimate worked perfectly for securing the stones together. It looks great after using this compared to other materials because, I was able to use a small amount and there’s no excess product on the stones.
It did form a grip almost instantly. I had no issues with the glue, worked in my regular caulk gun just fine. The stones have held together great through the high and low temps we have had so far. The rain hasn’t been a problem either.
I also used this to re-secure a couple of baseboards in my bathroom. That was a quick and successful process too. I was able to clean the nozzle and save the rest of the glue for another project. There are so many uses for this adhesive that I’ll be sure not run out.
Loctite Power Grab Ultimate has got to be the most extreme of adhesives. I’ve yet to find a surface that it does NOT adhere to. I had been doing some last minute landscaping in advance of our early winter with accompanying low temperatures, so I was really concerned about utilizing Power Grab Ultimate with the temperatures in the 30s and 40s during the daytime on a stone project I had to finish up.
Low and behold, I was NOT disappointed in Power Grab Ultimate’s performance in the 40 degree temperatures we had that day, but then after actually reading the temperature range, I could not believe that it can be applied with temperatures between 40 degrees Fahrenheit and down to minus 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
Also pleased (and amazed) that Power Grab Ultimate worked even when the surface I was utilizing it on was just the tiniest bit damp. I will definitely be keep a tube of Power Grab Ultimate in my boat tool box and in my workshop.
Definitely my go-to adhesive for working in any clime and place.

I found this game changer about a month ago and I’m so glad I did. This has to be one of the best glue’s I have ever used. I’m in the process of redoing my kitchen and I have used this are so many things.
I used it not only to help hang my cabinets but I also used it to do my baseboards and the molding in my living room. It’s so easy to use and clean up is a breeze all you have to do is snip the top off puncture the hole and put it in a caulk gun.
It has pretty much precision point usage. One of the best things about it is the cleanup they’re practically is none if you have a damp ride with you and you use it if any cleanup is needed just wipe it with a damp rag and you’re done.
This glue is a game changer especially for DIYer like myself.
Loctite makes the best adhesives. Durable and long lasting without any splitting or separation. I used this tube for sealing up some areas in an outdoor storage shed. It has multiple uses though. Flowed easy without any issue.
Nice spreadability with a putty knife or even my wet finger. The Loctite PL 3x expanded some which is helpful and it dried in a reasonable amount of time.

Gorilla Glue and Adhesives part of a large selection of office supplies. Gorilla Glue, 36 Oz, Light Tan is one of many Pourable Glue available through DailyDeals. io. Made by Gorilla.
Seems folks don’t read instructions – this glue expands into a foam, therefore you MUST clamp the joint and even affix with temporary screws or battens. Roughen surfaces and use a water mist spray and this stuff just about glues anything to anything.
It also leaves a foamy surface you can smooth down or sand and fill, I use it on plastics and woods even limestone. NB – if is horrid on your hands or clothes. Be very careful if using on awkward laminate floor cuts – just a little and clamp like mad – use bricks etc and then you should end up with just a foam bead to snick off and dab a bit of colour match onto.
I normally leave it overnight although two hours on a warm day and the water mist it will normally be cured.
I bought this to bond wood and plastic together where I had managed to snap the plastic screw cap that attached my broom’s wooden handle to the brush. Wasn’t sure it would work as I wasn’t able to apply the pressure that the bottle suggested I should.
That being said, it expands loads and seems to have a really solid hold. I’ve tried the broom out and seems to work fine. Would definitely recommend. People should note however when it dries it looks like a very pale yellow or orange foam.
This wasn’t a problem for me, but if it is for other people, I’d suggest the one that dries clear.
Having brought ‘hard as nails’ glue to fix outside plastic cat strips to a concrete fence I was more than disappointed. I had used gorilla glue previously and wetting one surface makes the glue slightly expand, and I mean slightly.
But it does fill in small gaps which was great for my outside application. With the ‘hard as nails’ glue barely doing the job it was brought for I used clear tape to hold the pieces in place while I wet and applied the glue.
Neither cats, gorillas nor burglars are going to move the strips now and I feel confident they will be here when the fence needs replacing. I also used it on the handle of a ceramic jug that had come adrift, and on an electric fan where the plastic that held the turning mechanism in place had torn the plastic off.
Both successful applications. As Caesar said ‘ I came, I saw I Gorilla glued’.
There are a variety of adhesives that can be used to bond wood to concrete, and the best adhesive to use will depend on the specific application. For example, construction adhesives are typically stronger than wood glue and are designed to withstand heavy loads and vibrations.
If aesthetic appeal is a concern, then an adhesive designed for woodworking might be a better choice. Ultimately, the best adhesive for wood to concrete will be the one that best meets the needs of the specific project.
