I cannot tell you how much this soap has changed my life. I can’t even show you how bad my acne was before I started with this soap because I never wanted to take any pictures of my skin. I had bad cystic acne and this product cured my skin within weeks.

It’s incredible. I’ve been using it for a little over a year and a half now and I swear it has saved my skin. I love how it feels. It’s great for deep cleaning but do not put the soap directly on your face.

Lather it up and put the suds on your face, but not the bar itself, that will strip your skin. Follow with a good moisturizer. It has all kinds of natural vitamins that stop excess sebum production which stops breakouts.

My entire skincare routine right here. I use this to cleanse my face twice per day and follow up with organic Aloe Vera inner fillet as a moisturizing toner. I do not experience break outs – or even solo pimples / small bumps / blackeads, skin stays glowy and hydrated.

I see no need to ever change what I’m doing. I’ve used Raw African Black Soap for facial cleansing for about 10 years now – I used to buy 3 lbs of it from an African store about an hour away but now – with Amazon – it’s super easy to get.

The brick lasts a really long time too. Also. you can dissolve the soap in hot water and use it as a treatment shampoo. the nutrients are great for the scalp and it doesn’t dry out the hair.

I absolutely cannot get enough of this product! It works for EVERY skin issue; acne, psoriasis, eczema, dry skin, and more! I use it every day on my face to fight acne and it truly is my holy grail product! I make sure I do not stray away from this brand and mix brands! You can IMMEDIATELY feel the product working on your face compared to other face washes and this is ALL natural products! I also use it on my body once an week :).

Literally this cleansing bar does everything it says. I’ve tried so many products this year as I just turned 40 and have seen a change on my face everything I’ve tried I have not seen any results. My last resort was to try Clinique products and wow I can honestly say I saw a major change just in 3 days of using this alongside the whole product routine.

My face feels so soft, wrinkles have diminished, dark spots are fading. My face is literally glowing and I apear younger. I was so excited I told my husband to use it and I literally sat next to him today and was complementing his face on how good his skin looked.

I’ve used this bar soap for probably 10 years now. This is the only bar soap that I feel does a deep enough clean for my skin, but it doesn’t have a heavy scent that will irritate it at all. It’s not super abrasive to where it cuts into your skin, but does a deep enough clean to help clean my skin.

I use it on my face, back, neck and shoulders (all areas where I tend to break out). My skin is nowhere near perfect, but this definitely helps! The only comment I will make is how the bar melts in the shower overtime.

One bar does tend to last me at least 2 sometimes 3 months before I have to toss the melted pieces for a new bar.

I am only giving 4 stars cause this product helped me when I needed it. It was recommended by my dermatologist to use a product for the back that has salicylic acid. This worked great and also helped a case I had of folliculitis really well on the booty.

But I don’t buy Clinique for anything else and I don’t want to buy this again if needed unless I can’t find something similar if it happens again (hopefully it doesn’t). overall good product, but I can’t buy beauty products that test on animals.

this case was different as it was medically necessary when I got it, sooo 4 stars.

I’ve had a life long struggle with acne. I’m 29 and still get it on my back, bum, and on my face sometimes. I switched to this a few years ago and fell in love. Firstly, it smells amazing! Secondly, it lasts FOREVER (like 6 months).

You only need a small drop to do your face and only a half pump for your whole body! It suds super well. Thirdly, I saw a difference in my skin. Now, this may not get rid of the acne completely, but you know you’re putting natural ingredients in your skin.

I paired this with the Antibacterial Body Treatment. I recently decided to switch it up and try a different cleanser, CereVe. Nope. I miss my Just Natural!.

I really love this and I’m not one to write reviews but after 2 purchases of this item. I feel inclined to let others know. So of course it helped clear up my face. When those lazy nights occured i still felt like i broke out less just because I’m using this face and body wash.

I have moderate stubborn acne on easily dried out sensitive skin so pretty much everything I use that claims to be “acne free for sensitive skin” breaks me out and leave my skin painfully dried out. So finding this has been a great relief.

I have not had a return of ringworm. Living in Georgia with hot and humid summers, I have been fungus free this summer. I have also started changing out pieces of clothing when it gets soaked with sweat.

When finished working outside I will immediately take a shower and use the peppermint and tea leaf soap. It’s now September so hopefully I am home free, but I will use this soap year round.

This soap is amazing. It’s ~50% more expensive and ~20% less volume than a bar of Dr Squatch which I had before, but it’s much stronger in fragrance and made locally in NC by a mom and pop shop which is cool.

It seems to last longer than the Squatch bars too but your mileage may vary there. I get about 10 days + out of each bar myself. No real complaints, I wish it was cheaper but you get what you pay for and it’s honestly good soap that smells and feels great.

MY FACE FEELS SO HYDRATED AND SOFT! I love this soap, I never knew my face could feel this soft without a moisturizer. I have skin discoloration spots and body acne usually in the summer, I use this product to relieve/prevent my body acne (back and chest). You know those white spots usually on your upper arms shoulders you get in the summertime when your skin starts “peeling” off even though you didn’t burn?? This product also helps with that! This is great for all of that and even your face.

I would have never thought to use this until someone told me to try it for the white shoulder spots I was getting. Now I use it all the time. It even smells amazing too! And CHEAP. Under $2 for the bar!.

I just love the benefits of black soap! I love the nice sent, rite along with the nice lather!!! Like other black soaps I used, I always had to wash the shower out right after due to the the soap turning the tub black! But this one doesn’t.

I don’t know how they do it but I am so in love with this cleanser! Most acne washes have dried my face out and actually caused more harm to my skin because of how sensitive my skin is. However, this wash is such a miracle cleanser for me! I have PCOS and get hormonal acne and while I have been watching my diet, this cleanser has been the perfect addition to help cleanse and clear my face! I love the texture of the wash, it feels super silky and a little goes such a long way as it lathers super well.

I firmly believe that between this product and the Advanced Retexturizer that my not only the appearance but feel of my skin has improved drastically over the past month!.

I never struggled much with acne but COVID masks and depression combined to make a hot mess of cystic acne like I had never experienced before. Painful, obvious, very self-conscious. I found these products and my skin did a wee purge and then cleared right up.

This lasts forever if you’re only using it on your face. I use this for my second step in my double cleanse after my oil-based cleanser. I am very particular that it sits on a special soap holder in my shower to avoid bacteria growth or getting soggy.

Lathers up nicely, very budget friendly and pretty easily accessible. The only CON is that it can leave my skin feeling tight, which you don’t want; however, it hasn’t increased any dryness or caused any other issues, so I’m okay with that.

Great on acne! I am typically going into my skincare regiman after using this, so the tightness doesn’t last long. It’s been around since, I believe, 1912! Personally, I would prefer a bottle or pump version (the only one I found had been sold out ).

I would say i have normal skin for the most part. There are the days where it feels on the dryer side or at time it can feel oily. It really just depends on the weather and what exactly i am doing and such.

This soap smells heavenly. I don’t use it on my face, but it’s my go-to for full body and hand soap by the sink. I switched to bar soaps a while back to save money and plastic, and got a bonus – this soap works way better than other of the liquid or foamy stuff! Gets all my sunscreen off at the end of the day, and powers through the make-up on my hands after applying (I don’t really use any tools so I’ve got all sorts of makeup to wash off), but still it is not drying.

It’s amazing. I like the smaller, more grasp-able size of this bar compared to their original size. I also like that’s it’s dark in color. My soap tray is dark, so the buildup is way less noticeable than light colored soaps.

I absolutely LOVE this soap! I can’t even imagine washing my face with anything else. And it lasts, and lasts and lasts! I also like that it doesn’t have a fragrance to clash with my signature fragrance.

(don’t ask, I don’t reveal my signature fragrance to anyone!) So far I have not found anything bad to say about this black soap, and I have been using it for about 2 years. I even think the black bar looks great in it’s soap dish sitting on the counter.

I feel I put cream on my face after washing it with this Soap! Very good clarifying and moisturizing soap that works naturally without chemicals or scents. It will turn into liquid if you put it on any place that has water.

This soap works for every skin issue I’ve ever had. I had black and whiteheads that never seem to go away with all the products I’ve used. Some try to prevent new ones from forming but wouldn’t budge the ones already there.

Its really frustrating when you read all the promises they make but dont do nothing. Until my sister in law told me to try this soap. I was hesitant at first due to the dirt cheap price but I was like well, what do I have to lose.

Oh well, I’ve lost all my black heads and whiteheads using this stuff. I also noticed that it stopped the athletes foot I get during the summer months. And my whole skin looks a little brighter too. Just be aware that it will dry your face a little during the first week of use but that shows it’s a good product for fighting off acne, blackheads, pimples and so on.

Soap works and has reduced and almost stopped breakouts on my chest, back,and arms. I’m about 3 weeks in and saw the difference within 1 week of first trying it. Only downside is that it leave a scum like feel after using even if I lather, rinse, and repeat.

but it works and I’m looking forward to wearing all my summer tops that I didn’t feel comfortable wearing during my breakouts and kept covered up.

THIS STUFF IS THE REASON WHY I DON’T GET ACNE ANYMORE. I swear by this product. Before, i used to have sooo many pimples. I tried everything but nothing would work. I even tried proactive and, while it worked for a short while, it endes up giving me rashes on my face.

When I started using this stuff, my face instantly cleared. And this has worked for everyone that I have shared this product with. First wet your face with hot water and then apply the soap to your face.

Leave it on your face for 10 min or until hardened and then rinse with cold water. The ONLY issue that I have with this product is that it makes my face dry after using it for a while. To fix that, I just apply lotion to my face and take a break from it for a few days.

Other than that, this product has been a life saver!!!.

My husband’s review: I’m a 55-year-old male with normal skin in terms of oiliness and dryness. I’ve had an ongoing issue with what is either cystic acne or rosacea above my browline and on my right cheek; I was curious to see what effect, if any, Jack Black products would have on that situation as well as the rest of my face and skin.

When dispensed, the cleanser is ready-to-go as a very light foam with no need to work up a lather. It spreads evenly across your face and stays put out of your eyes. The cleanser contains. 5% salicylic acid, great for very mildly exfoliating the face and it did a fine job of that without inducing any redness.

I tend to be, shall we say, an enthused scrubber so that is a definite plus. The product rinsed of cleanly with no cloying residue, a definite selling point in my book. After a couple of days using the cleanser morning and night, my pores definitely appeared smaller and best of all, no breakouts on my browline and cheek! I’d definitely consider Jack Black Balancing Foam Cleanser/Acne Treatment for use as my daily cleanser and would readily recommend it for any gentlemen looking for acne control.

For me to write a review, a product needs to be over the top great. This face soap definitely is. I was in the middle of a full blown breakout that was only getting worse no matter what I tried (I’m 31 so that’s always fun).

I ordered this soap and within a week saw a complete turn around. Following the package instructions, I washed my face twice a day letting it sit for a minute or two before washing off and in the evenings for the first few days I washed my face twice letting it sit for a few minutes each time – when I’m talking bad breakout I mean back in high school bad.

After a week my acne was fading and no new spots were popping up. After two weeks my face was completely cleared up. And now after a month I’ve been able to maintain clear skin. My previous routine was identical to what I do now – wash my face in the morning and before bed and follow up with a light moisturizer or sunscreen.

So literally the only thing I’ve changed is using this soap. I couldn’t be more happy with the results I’m seeing especially as an acne prone adult. Love this soap.

I had this soap in my cart for a while, but after having a severe breakout on my forehead and cheek I decided to finally purchase. I avoided using it on my forehead and instead tested it out on my cheek first in case I had any reactions.

I have very sensitive skin but to my surprise it dried out the acne overnight without drying out my skin! I use once every other day now on active acne or after the gym or working outside. My skin definitely cleared up because of this product and the dark spots faded relatively fast.

Definitely recommend and love this soap! I won’t be buying traditional acne treatments after this.

As someone who has battled with cystic acne off and on since my teens, this soap has been a game-changer. I honestly didn’t think I’d ever be able to get rid of it until I tried this out. When I notice active breakouts starting up, I exfoliate, cleanse, and then lather up again to let dry and soak into my skin overnight and BOOM — the next morning, my face is almost completely clear.

ok i’m gonna start this off by saying everyone’s skin is different and there’s not a product that’s gonna work for everyone. personally my skin was bad but wasn’t anything extreme. mainly just “maskne” but i decided i’d give this a shot since no face wash ever really works for me.

usually worst case scenario the face wash simply doesn’t work. but this one made my skin at least 3x worse. i didn’t change a thing in my skin care routine. just this product. i thought “hm maybe i’ll stop using it and see if that’s what the problem is” and poof my skin started clearing up again and now it looks pretty good and all i do is wash it with a dab of shampoo.

i’m not bashing this product because a lot of the people reviewing it seem like it actually helped them but for myself it was awful and it’s really pricey too especially since it did absolutely nothing but made my acne worse.

I bought this product about a month ago. it was recommended by an Ulta employee when I went into the store to find a foundation to cover my blemishes. I am 26 years old and still get very painful red and ingrown acne around my chin.
