Vegan Fourth of July Recipes
June 21, 2021
You can have your black bean burger and eat it too this Fourth of July. The Fourth is nearly synonymous with outdoor grilling. However, that doesn’t mean vegans can’t enjoy a nice BBQ or two this Independence Day. Here are some fantastic vegan Fourth of July recipes to keep your celebration exploding with flavor, but without all the meat or animal bi-products. Even if you aren’t vegan you will love these tasty recipes.

White Bean “Cheese” & “Bacon” Burgers
I found this recipe on Healthy.Happy.Life and it sounds phenomenal. The full recipe can be found here. The recipe takes white cannellini beans, vegan “cheddar” cheese, vegan “bacon”, and a variety of spices to make a burger that is fit for a meat-eater. This burger is sure to impress your vegan friends and even the non-vegans at your party.
Vegan Fourth of July Hot Dogs and Chili
Hot dogs and chili are a staple at many Fourth of July events. There is something very American about serving up a hot dog in celebration of our independence. However, just because you are vegan or in need of a vegan menu, doesn’t mean you have to forgo the hot dogs. Smart Dogs brand hot dogs are vegan friendly and taste as close to the real deal as you can get. Chili isn’t a problem either for the vegan menu. Vegan chili can be purchased pre-made or whip up your own with a vegan chili recipe like this one from Oh She Glows.
