It’s the happiest place on Earth … and when it comes to dining, Walt Disney World goes over the top to ensure that guests receive world-class service, delicious dishes, drinks, and desserts, plus plenty of amazing surprises. If you’re looking to splurge on a dining experience like no other, at a restaurant that promises to dazzle, here our our top seven picks for the ultimate Walt Disney World Dining experiences.

1. Victoria and Albert’s

This restaurant takes guests back in time, thanks to its elegant Victorian décor and unparalleled service. Located at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, the restaurant has been a AAA Five Diamond Award recipient since 2000, and the culinary team is known for sourcing the finest ingredients from around the world. Though dining at Victoria and Albert’s is an over-the-top dining experience in and of itself, you can take it a notch higher by reserving Queen Victoria’s Room. With space for only eight guests, this lovely room offers a dining experience like no other. During your 10-course dinner, you have the chance to learn how the chef and sommelier work together to identify the perfect vintage to accompany each splendid dish.

2. Narcoossee’s

Yet another top dining pick located at the luxurious Grand Floridian. The focus here is on seafood—perhaps the freshest and finest in all Orlando—but you can also count on biting into one of the best, juiciest steaks you’ve ever had at this more casual option. Narcoossee’s is also about location, location, location. For a date night to remember, plan on dining during the Magic Kingdom fireworks: Narcoossee’s overlooks Bay Lake and offers a beautiful view of the nighttime fireworks extravaganza.

3. T-REX Restaurant

If you’ve ever dreamed of dining with a dino, this restaurant in Disney Springs will transport you to the Jurassic Age, when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. Though the food is your standard kid-fare—think chicken tenders, wings and nachos—the atmosphere is prehistoric. Expect meteor showers, volcanic explosions, and lots of dinosaurs nestled among the greenery. Call ahead to reserve a seat next to the 15 foot tall animatronic T-Rex.

4. Sci-fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant

Step into Hollywood Studios’ Sci-fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant and you’ll be immediately transported to a starry, 1950’s night. You’re at a drive-in theater, so look for your car and cuddle up close to your date. Enjoy old school sci-fi and horror movies as you dig into diner fare. This is truly one of the most atmospheric restaurants in all of Disney World, making it a must-add to your dining bucket list. Be forewarned that reservations at this one-of-a-kind drive-in diner are hard to come by so plan your visit well in advance.

5. Sanaa

At Sanaa, located within Animal Kingdom, you can dine with exotic wildlife. Zebras, giraffes, gazelles and other wild animals roam free just outside the tableside, large glass windows, making for a truly safari-like dining experience. Together with the African-inspired cuisine, you’ll feel like you’re dining in the Serengeti National Park.

6. Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue

Head to the Wild West at this fun dinner revue hosted at the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Expect plenty of singing, slap-stick, vaudeville style humor and a rollicking good time in an old fashioned saloon. The food at this special saloon is BBQ-based so make sure to arrive with a hungry belly as pork ribs, fried chicken, cornbread, baked beans and more await. Casual and fun, the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue is a great dining experience for families and anyone who loves a good foot-stompin’ square dance.

7. Dine with an Imagineer Experience

Disney’s brilliant Imagineers dream up the magic of every ride and guest experience. This elite crew know all the secrets. Here’s your chance to ask them all your burning questions. During the special experience, you’ll enjoy a four course lunch with a Disney Imagineer at the Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant. This is a must-do if you or someone you love is a mega Disney World fan.
