Pineapples are everywhere right now. You’ll find this symbol of hospitality not only in the fruit section of your grocery store, but adorning the shelves of home décor stores, on stationary, and even decorating and bedazzling t-shirts and other clothing. Admit it, you love them. Now, if you could just find a way to enjoy them, beyond adding them to your teriyaki chicken and your yogurt parfait We’ve got you covered. Did you know that the sunny yellow pineapple isn’t just good for your body, but for your complexion, too? Pineapples are mineral-rich and full of Vitamin C and bromelain, both of which help fight acne.
To relieve skin problems, you can juice the pineapple for drinking, add it to smoothies (great for reviving a body post-workout), or just eat it. You can also take the inside of the peel, leaving just a bit of fruit, and rub it onto your face. Let the juice from the pineapple soak into your skin for a few minutes and then rinse with warm water. Repeat two to three times a week.

Pineapple is loaded with enzymes that work as a natural exfoliator. Check out this recipe for pineapple foot treatment:
Combine ½ cup chopped pineapple, ½ cup chopped and peeled lemon, ½ unpeeled apple, ¼ quarter of a grapefruit, 1 tsp. of salt and 2 tsps. of anise extract. Rub the mixture onto clean feet, focusing on rough or callused spots. Wrap your feet in plastic bags or plastic wrap for 25-30 minutes. Remove the plastic and rinse feet. Your feet will thank you!
