Share Your Funny Feeding Story for a Chance to Win $20,000 Towards Your Child’s Education #hfbrightside
August 5, 2013
My kids are extremely finicky when it comes to food. We’ve gone through periods of time where my youngest would only eat chicken nuggets and crackers. My oldest child still refuses to use condiments on anything! I’m sure most of us have similar stories and now it’s time to share those tales of woe to the world. “Stories from the Bright Side” is looking for parents to share their humorous stories regarding feeding your kids – and you can win $20,000 toward college in the process!
Every mom and dad has had food thrown at them, lived through restaurant temper-tantrums, or had their child close their mouth and refuse to eat even a single morsel. To enter, hop over to the Bright Side on Happy Family’s Facebook page to share a video or written story + image of your own.
Happy Family partnered with 7 mommy and daddy bloggers to bring their “Funny Feeding” Stories from the Bright Side to life for other moms and dads to enjoy. They included Candy Kirby (The Laughing Stork), Jim Lin (The Busy Dad Blog), Kelcey Kintner (Mama Bird Diaries), Kristen Chase (Motherhood Uncensored and Cool Mom Picks), Kristen Howerton (Rage Against the Minivan), Linda Sharps (All & Sundry) and Morgan Shanhan (The 818).
The stories were then acted out by improv actors – with some hilarious results like this one!
Want to enter your story for the chance to win? The campaign runs through August 31, 2013, with all submissions evaluated by a panel of judges from Happy Family to determine the winning entry. Make sure to visit the Happy Family website, follow them on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube!
