March 5, 2015

Another wave of shows is returning this month which is great since half of the country is stuck inside due to the extremely frigid temperatures. Once Upon a Time viewers will be happy to see the return of the surprisingly popular show that now features characters from Frozen and Maleficent, among others. Cooking show enthusiasts will be glad to have Gordon Ramsay screaming at fresh contestants on Hell’s Kitchen for yet another season while Bones continues to pull in loyal viewers. The Following will keep creepy alive as the activities of a dangerous cult are followed and its members pursued. With Avengers: Age of Ultron hitting theaters on May 1, 2015, Marvel fans will want to check out Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which often features tie-ins to the studio’s blockbuster film releases.

Check out American Housewife on ABC!

Some of the new shows look really interesting. Secrets and Lies explores the dynamics that surround a young father who is suspected of killing a local child. We all hear about cases like this but it could be really thought-provoking to see it acted out on the small screen. American Crime is another show that aims to look at the darker issues that exist in American society. While the name is a little lazy, the content could lead to some incredible discussions. It’s always good when television can help us think critically (rather than just seeming to absorb our brain cells!).

Are you going to stick with your established viewing or will you also be giving a new show a chance? Will you be abandoning any of your DVR staples? If so, which ones and why?  We’d love to know!
