There are less than two weeks left in 2019 and Christmas is fast approaching. This holiday season, much like the whole year is just flying by! In between party prep and celebrations, why not take a break to catch up on some celebrity news? There are some really sweet stories unfolding.
It seems like the spirit of the season has inspired some of our favorite famous moms to create some special moments for themselves and others as we head into 2020. Here are some stories that are trending right now.
Kris & Kylie Jenner’s Playhouse Surprise
In a video, Kylie Jenner was sharing her 2019 Christmas decorations when she found her mother, Kris Jenner, crying. Why was she so emotional? It turns out the matriarch had a special gift for Kylie’s 22-month-old daughter, Stormie.
When Kylie was a little girl, she had a playhouse in their backyard. As a surprise, Kris had a similar playhouse, complete with amazing furniture, delivered for her granddaughter. Kris reflected fondly on those early moments with Kylie and said she wanted Kylie and Stormie to have those same memories. Both mamas were incredibly emotional as the little girl explored her new home away from home. It’s nicer than some real apartments!
Hilary Duff’s Wedding
It’s been a big year for Hilary Duff. While adjusting to life as a mother of two, the singer/actress got engaged to long-time love, Matthew Koma, in May. Then, she started working on the Lizzy Maguire reboot, much to her fans’ delight. To end 2019 on an even higher note, she got married.
Duff and Koma were married in a small, low-key ceremony at their house, surrounded by family and close friends. While the exchange of vows happened inside of their home, the reception was in a white tent in the backyard.
The couple welcomed their first child together, Banks, in October 2018. She joins big brother, Luca, who turns 8 in March, with ex-husband, former NHL hockey star Mike Comrie. We wish the entire family all the best!
Cardi Claus is Coming to Town!
This time of year, there are families who just don’t have the means to celebrate the holidays, so it’s heartwarming that Cardi B was spotted at a Target in Miami buying thousands of dollars of gifts or children. Reportedly, the shopping spree cost about $5,000.
All of the toys, which ranged from dollhouses to sports sets, were loaded into a moving truck before being delivered to the kids. This isn’t the first time the rapper has shown generosity—last year, she donated free winter coats to families in the Gravesend neighborhood in Brooklyn.
