Did you watch the Golden Globe Awards last night? The drama unfolded before the show even began after viewers believed they heard This is Us actress, Chrissy Metz, seemingly refer to Glow star, Alison Brie, as a b-word! Metz has since denied the accusation, but it definitely got things off to an interesting start!

Hugely popular movies such as Black Panther, Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy Rich Asians, and even Mary Poppins went head-to-head at the event that many believe will predict the outcomes for the Oscars. It wasn’t lost on anyone, of course, that this year’s Golden Globes were remarkably diverse.

The show was hosted by Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh after Kevin Hart stepped down after old, controversial tweets resurfaced. Oh, whose parents emigrated to Canada from Korea, took a moment to acknowledge the moment and said, “I said yes to the fear of being on this stage tonight because I wanted to be here and look out onto this audience and witness this moment of change. I’m not fooling myself. Next year could be different and probably will be. But right now, this moment is real.”
