Did you catch all the action at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards last night?! Everyone looked absolutely beautiful and there were some surprise winners. That’s right—Game of Thrones did not walk away with nearly as many awards as some predicted.

We did see some history-making moments last night. Here’s a quick recap:

  • Jharrel Jerome, the 21-year-old star of When They See Us, became the second-youngest performer to win for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie and he’s also the first Afro-Latino to win in an acting category.
  • Billy Porter made history as the first openly gay African-American to win for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
  • Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the star and creator of Fleabag, became only the second person to win Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series category and Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series in the same year (Tina Fey first did it with 30 Rock back in 2008).
  • Peter Dinklage set an Emmys record with his fourth win for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his work on Game of Thrones.
  • Nina West, a fan-favorite from season 11 of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11, became the first person to walk the Emmys red carpet in full drag.
  • Saturday Night Live beat its own record by winning its 77th Emmy for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series and 78th Emmy for Outstanding Variety Series Directing.
