There’s a lot of buzz happening around a few things this morning in Hollywood and, it should come as no surprise that the Kardashian clan is at the center of it. If you’re already rolling your eyes don’t worry—there’s a lot more to talk about!
Kim Kardashian’s Sparks Anger
In recent years, there’s really been a push to promote a more inclusive, body positive attitude in our society so Kim Kardashian West’s recent comments made some people very angry. While talking to sisters, Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, Kim seemed excited about their comments regarding her weight loss.
The sisters praised Kim while saying she looked “really skinny” and then Khloe referred to Kim’s waist as “anorexic.” In response, the reality star expressed excitement over the “compliments” she was receiving over her efforts.
After revealing that she weighs 119 pounds, she explained that she actually weighs less when she removes her hair extensions. This, of course, caused many people to react negatively and suggested that these comments could be triggering for those dealing with eating disorders. The Kardashians have not addressed the backlash.
Chrissy Teigen Admits Jealousy
It would be hard for any of us to watch our partners getting cozy with someone else and, recently, Chrissy Teigen admitted that, even though she’s a supermodel, she’s not any different.
This week marks the 10th anniversary of her now-husband John Legend’s video for “Greenlight” and the mom of two revealed that, while she was on set, seeing him interact with a beautiful woman for the shoot left her in tears.
The Lip Sync Battle host gave her Twitter followers a play-by-play explaining how she went from uncertainty to anger before finally fleeing from the set sobbing. She even had to get a hotel room to cope with the emotional moment that she describes as a “jealousy-fueled meltdown.” Poor Chrissy but most of us would probably react the same way!
Michelle Williams Secretly Weds
The world mourned for Michelle Williams, then a new mom to daughter, Mathilda, when Heath Ledger died suddenly. She’s been candid about how hard it’s been to raise their little girl without him but, it looks like she’s not on her own anymore.
News broke that the 37-year-old actress secretly married indie musician, Phil Elverum, earlier this month in a very private ceremony nestled in the Adirondacks. Honestly, we could not be happier for her!
Williams and her new husband have something else in common: loss. Elverum was married to Canadian artist, Geneviève Castrée, with whom he had one daughter. The notoriously private star said one thing about the relationship: “I’m finally loved by someone who makes me feel free… don’t settle for something that feels like a prison, or is hard, or hurts you. If it doesn’t feel like love, it’s not love.”
