How is it already August? Does this summer even count? It feels like 2020 has been one big blur, and most of us probably wouldn’t mind forgetting the whole year ever happened. It can feel like our lives are on hold (and in many ways they are), but these celebrity moms remind us that life really does go on. Let’s catch up on the latest.

Brie & Nikki Bella Give Birth!

Whether you’re fans of WWE or the show Total Bellas, you’re probably familiar with Brie and Nikki Bella. The identical twins do everything together, and giving birth is no exception! On July 31, Nikki and fiancé, Artem Chigvintsev (her Dancing with the Stars partner), welcomed their first child.

“Our baby boy is here and we couldn’t be HAPPIER and more in LOVE! Everyone is safe and healthy,” Nikki shared. Artem also shared the baby news. “7/31/2020 please welcome our precious baby boy Chigvintsev,” he wrote. “Proud of my love.” So sweet!

Back in January, the sisters revealed their baby news in a joint announcement, and many wondered if they’d deliver around the same time. Turns out that Brie and her husband, Daniel Bryan, welcomed their second child (they share a three-year-old daughter named Birdie) just a day later! “It’s a BOY!!! 💙 8-1-2020,” Brie said on Instagram. “We are overwhelmed with joy and everyone is healthy!!!” the mom of two added.

After trying for a second child for months, Brie and her husband gave up. They went on a couples retreat to Sedona, Arizona to work on their relationship. A few weeks later, while in France to meet Chigvintsev’s family, Brie “felt off.” She took a test when they got home and found out she was pregnant! We wish everyone the best!

Katherine Schwarzenegger Is “Ready to Pop”

A global pandemic and impending due date aren’t slowing down Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger. In fact, the pair got some fresh air while taking an impressive hike over the weekend. While sharing a snapshot of the moment, Pratt got real about the situation.

In an Instagram post, the Jurassic World star wrote, “Ready to pop. Still don’t stop. Top of the mountain today. Kinda grateful it didn’t go down on the trail tho to be real.” Yes, during any year it’s best to not unexpectedly give birth out in public, but that’s especially true during 2020. So far, Schwarzenegger has been preparing for birth during these unusual times by safely surrounding herself with the people she loves, organizing her house, and eating good food.

“I’ve been baking a lot, and I would say my husband’s been cooking a lot. I would say a huge amount of our time is definitely spent in the kitchen,” she shared. “It’s been really fun. It’s like a silver lining to be able to get more experience in the kitchen, and also be able to spend time with your loved ones in this quarantine. So, it’s been a fun part of it.”

Adele Pays Tribute to Beyoncé

On Friday, Beyoncé dropped the visual album, Black is King, on Disney+ and like many others, Adele was among the first to watch it. Queen Bey described the project as a “labor of love” (and included her three beautiful children!) and revealed that it took her almost a year to create.

After winning “Album of the Year” at the 2017 GRAMMY Awards, Adele famously said she couldn’t accept it because she felt it belonged to Beyoncé. “The artist of my life is Beyoncé and this album for me, the Lemonade album, is just so monumental,” the singer expressed. “It was so monumental and so well thought out and so beautiful and soul-baring and we all got to see another side to you that you don’t always let us see and we so appreciate that.”

It’s not surprising that Adele continued to show her love after watching Black is King. “Thank you Queen for always making us all feel so loved through your art ♥️♥️,” Adele captioned her Instagram post. In the picture, The British singer is curly-haired and posing in front of her TV wearing a similar Marine Serre crescent moon top to the bodysuit Beyoncé wears in a video still. We all deserve to be loved the way Adele loves Beyoncé!
