The final Star Wars film comes out in just a few days and Christmas is next week—we’re officially nearing the end of 2019. It’s kind of bittersweet, isn’t it? This hasn’t necessarily been the most fun decade when you compare it to the 80s or 90s, but we’ve learned a lot along the way, haven’t we?

We can only guess what our favorite celebrity moms will be doing in the next 10 years, but it seems like some changes are already happening. Let’s take a look at some of the biggest headlines this week.

Kourtney Kardashian’s TV Fatigue

Even if you’re like me and don’t watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians, you probably know that there’s been family drama (as always!). Notably, Kourtney Kardashian has been keeping a lower profile, and Khloe and Kim claim that this has made them have to work harder. Despite the tension this has caused, Kourtney doesn’t seem willing to change.

In fact, on the most recent season finale, as her younger sisters complained about having to “pick up the slack,” Kourtney said she has felt “bullied for the last two years” by them. “Why would I want to be here with a bunch of people who literally, they just pick on me?” she said. “Why is there this constant need to criticize?”

After telling her sisters that her three kids are her main priority, Kourtney revealed that she’s not happy about being on the show. In a confessional, she went on to say, “It’s not okay that I feel like I’m at my breaking point. I need a break and I don’t want to film anymore.”

Is this the end of an era on Keeping Up With the Kardashians? Maybe, but it certainly wouldn’t be the end of the world. Ultimately, Kourtney needs to do whatever makes her happiest so that she can be the best person and mother for her children. Let’s hope she gets the space to make the right decision.

Britney Spears Confronts Trolls

It’s annoying for any of us when friends leave lame comments on our social media posts, so it’s hard to even imagine how frustrating it must be for celebrities. One famous mama has definitely had enough of it: Britney Spears.

The 38-year-old mother of two shared a festive video on Instagram along with the caption: “Happy holidays friends !!!! I love sharing with you all … but it’s been hard to keep wanting to share because people say the meanest things. If you don’t like a post … just keep it to yourself and unfollow that person !!! There’s no reason to ever go out of your way to make mean comments and bully people. Stay happy and nice this holiday season y’all and God Bless !!!!!”

Meanwhile, her longtime boyfriend, Sam Asghari, 25, showed his support with a message of his own: “It’s so easy to cyber attack and hide behind their phones and write mean comments, but when they run into you in real life all of the sudden they act like they have been such a huge fan and want a picture #haterplease.”

Hopefully, Ms. Spears can get the peace and respect she deserves in 2020, but it’s always good to see people setting healthy boundaries. She’s got a point, too—can’t we just learn to scroll past things online rather than start a fight with someone we don’t even know? Let’s do better in the new year!

Cardi B’s $500k Birthday Gift

When Cardi B tried coming up with a gift for her husband’s 28th birthday, she couldn’t think of anything. In a video, she says to Offset, “Everyone’s saying you got every car, you got every jewelry… what else can I give somebody that got everything? The fridge.”

Behind him, an open fridge was opened, aside from a huge sum of money, it was completely empty. Visibly shocked, the rapper stood in front of the appliance as his wife explained that she had gifted him $500,000. When he replied, “You don’t have to give me this money,” Cardi explained: “I know I don’t have to give you this money, but I don’t know what to give you and I gotta give you something.” She did add that he wouldn’t be getting a Christmas gift this year, though!

Cardi and Offset also spent time celebrating at a party in downtown Los Angeles. He shared a picture of himself literally surrounded by exotic dancers. We’re not sure how many couples would be comfortable in that setting, but if it works for them then so be it!

In January, Cardi opened up to Vogue about their relationship and how they recovered after Offset cheated on her last year. “I believe in forgiveness,” she said. “I prayed on it. Me and my husband, we prayed on it…and we just came to an understanding like, bro, it’s really us against the world…so when you cheat, you’re betraying the person that has your back the most. Why would you do that? We have come to a clear understanding. For me, monogamy is the only way. I’ll beat your a** if you cheat on me.”
