Kelly Ripa Shamed for Bikini
If you were a fan of Kelly Ripa back in the early days when she was Hayley Santos on All My Children (where she met her husband, Mark Consuelos), you will know that she was a little more full figured in those days. After she had kids and accepted the co-hosting gig on Live! she slimmed down and seemed to really commit to being physically fit.
As a result, the 47-year-old mother of three has washboard abs and a trim physique. On a recent trip to the beach, Consuelos snapped a shot of his wife and shared it on social media along with the caption “Sultry Sundays with the sexy one are my fave.”
While most of his followers were supportive, others took jabs at Ripa for wearing a bikini!
“She has the body of a 12-year-old boy,” commented one poster. “Guess ‘sexy’ is a matter of opinion. She is adorable, but … ”
“Kelly’s gorgeous, but isn’t there a cutoff age where age appropriateness comes into play?” said another naysayer. “Just because you can rock a bikini, doesn’t mean you should. When you have teenagers whose friends can ogle pictures, then it’s creepy.”
At least, one supporter reminded everyone that we should be working on being a more inclusive society and wrote, “It’s 2018 and it’s time to stop shaming on others and stop the sexism.”
For what it’s worth, Ripa looked AMAZING in her bikini! Rock on, mama!
Khloe Kardashian Says She Will Miss Her Baby Bump
It might have taken a while for Khloe Kardashian to confirm her pregnancy but, once she did, she was never shy about showcasing her growing baby bump! It’s been great to see her embracing her changing body and encouraging other women to do the same.
In a sexy photoshoot, Kardashian is shown wearing lingerie in various poses, including one where she’s joined by fiancé, Tristan Thompson, in bed.
The 33-year-old, did reflect on her decision to share the revealing images and said, “I know I’m going to miss my belly so much once she’s here, I had to capture the beautiful process that is pregnancy so that I can always look back at this time.”
Considering how many women struggle to accept the changes pregnancy can make to their bodies, Khloe’s decision to focus on the beauty of the experience is important. It seems like her sister might not be feeling similarly, though . . .
Kylie Jenner Really Wants Her Pre-Pregnancy Belly Back
After keeping her pregnancy a mystery until well after her daughter, Stormi Webster, was born seven weeks ago, Kylie Jenner has made it clear that she wants to look like she did before she became a mother.
Just a month after welcoming the baby girl, the 20-year-old shared a picture of her noticeably flatter stomach in lingerie and then, over the weekend, she posted a video of her midsection to document her progress.
While it’s understandable to want to get back in shape, Jenner seems willing to not only engage in extreme measures but to also encourage others to do the same. For example, at just six weeks postpartum, she shared a selfie of herself wearing a waist trainer, a product she says is helpful to “snap back,” and people were not impressed.
Let’s hope she finds a way to feel comfortable in her own skin again because we all deserve to be happy, right?
