Best Online Stores for Saving on Last-Minute Holiday Gifts
December 15, 2016
We are already well into December and many of us are still struggling to finish our Christmas shopping. Unfortunately, it can be really hard to find good deals when you’re fighting the crowds.
The solution? Shop online at these retailers and stack coupons like a pro to get the gifts that you want without breaking the bank (Bonus: No fighting for a parking spot or waiting online at an insanely busy mall!)
Kohl’s
Whether you are shopping on their website or using their super handy app, Kohl’s allows you to stack up to four coupons as well as a free shipping code! The best part is that, this time of year, other promotions can make deals even sweeter since you can rack up Kohl’s Cash or rewards points at a much faster rate. It’s definitely worth checking out.
Old Navy/Gap/Banana Republic/Athletica
If you are trying to find some great deals on clothing, sign up for promotional emails from the group of Gap brands. There are often flash sales and other heavy discounts during the holiday season. They also allow the use of up to five coupon codes to bring down the prices even further. While some promos will not work with others, it’s worth trying to combine them to save money.
Amazon
As if Amazon’s prices aren’t already low enough, the online retailer also allows the use of unlimited coupons. While it’s true that the available codes are for very specific items, you could still save a lot of money compared to what you would pay in a regular store, especially if you qualify for free shipping or have a Prime membership!
Target
There are so many ways to save money at Target, from using the Cartwheel deals (often for a certain percentage off of specific items) to taking advantage of promotions that come with a free gift card. On top of that, Target also allows the use of unlimited coupons. If you don’t end up qualifying for free shipping, choose to pick up your items at a local store and keep some money in your pocket!
Michael’s
Feeling crafty this holiday season? If you’re in the market for a glue gun, colorful paper, and wreath-making supplies, check out Michael’s. They also accept an unlimited number of coupons. That’s a great policy since we all know how expensive arts and crafts can be.
Other retailers, including Macy’s and JCPenney, also accept coupons online while offering deep discounts, so get on their email lists ASAP.
